초등 예비교사의 대체에너지에 대한 이해도와 대안개념 분석 (Analysis of Pre-Service Elementary School Teachers' Understanding and Alternative Conceptions in Alternative Energy)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate pre-service elementary school teachers' understanding about alternative energy and to identify their alternative conceptions. The two-tier instrument had been developed by Cheong et al. (2015) were used for this study. Twelve items from the instrument consisted of four categories: 'source of alternative energy', 'greenhouse gas emission', 'cost in electricity and construction' and 'advantages and disadvantages'. One hundred and fifteen pre-service elementary school teachers were participated in online survey during the semester. The results analyzed using SPSS 26.0. were as follows: First, the correct response rate varied depending on the content of item. Items related to characteristics and advantages & disadvantages of alternative energy showed high percentage of correct answers. Whereas, items regarding the principles of alternative energy showed relatively low percentage of correct answers. Second, there are some items showing statistically meaningful differences according to students' high school track. Nevertheless, there are no significant differences in overall. Third, we identified twelve alternative conceptions about alternative energy from students' answer distribution. Educational implications were discussed based on the results.

대체에너지 사용시 공업용수 순환 개선을 위한 연구 (Study of industrial water calculation improvement by use Alternative Energy)

  • 이 논문은 1년에 몇 일 혹은 몇 시간 동안 만 최대 에너지가 공급된다. 그러므로 일반적인 경우에는 대부분 최대 에너지의 50%나 이보다 적은 양의 에너지를 얻게 된다. 이런 작은량의 에너지가 공급되는 Alternative Energy system (P. Voltac System)하에서 용수공급을 위해 기존의 Centrifugal pump를 사용 할 때와 Screw type pump를 사용할 때 공급된 용수량을 비교하였다. 연구 결과 Screw type pump 사용 시 alternative Energy system의 높이에 상관없이 단지 Screw type pump의 speed에 영향을 받으며 낮은 Energy 하 에서도 비교적 높은 효율을 낸다는 것을 실험적으로 비교 검토 하였다.

  • These days, the use of alternative energy is recognized as one of countermeasures to rising oil prices and climate-change agreements. Especially, it is regarded as a main element to realize 'Low-Carbon Green Growth', one of the key policies of MB government. However, though alternative energy, renewable energy, is a main policy issue of the present administration, there are many problems to solve: the lack of recognition of its energy, the low level of its technology, its expert's shortage, and its limited application fields. Therefore, to stimulate the use of alternative energy in Korea and to change the recognition of this energy, it is needed to utilize it to urban street furniture that many people visit and use. In particular, if alternative energy is first applied to street furniture that needs energy for its management, the effect of publicity and energy saving will be so great. In this study, for the basic research to introduce and promote various alternative energy sources such as solar power, wind power, small hydro power, and human power, we analyzed the present condition of development of Korean and foreign street furniture items. Furthermore, we evaluated the level of development of these street furniture products and the design types of them and from these evaluations suggested the design direction that can solve problems in development and improve the possibility of application of these energy sources to these street furniture items. Through these analyses, this study aims to enhance the image of future environment-friendly city and make new index for the application of alternative energy.

태양광발전, 태양열 급탕, 지열시스템의 신재생에너지설비 조합에 관한 LCC 분석 (Life Cycle Cost Analysis about Renewable Energy Facilities Combination of Photovoltaic system, Solar thermal system and Geothermal system)

  • When a building is planned and designed, the design should be able to minimize the cost during the whole life cycle of the building. This study has begun to analyze LCC about the alternative design which is applicable to renewable energy facility construction. It is reviewed domestic and foreign papers about the trend of LCC technology and it is determined the analytical method to analyze the LCC of renewable energy. Regarding the review of alternatives, it is chosen the three alternatives which are able to designed combing the renewable energy facilities and it is performed the LCC analysis about each alternative. Alternative 1 is Photovoltaic + Solar Thermal + Photovoltaic /Wind Power, Alternative 2 is Geothermal + Photovoltaic, and Alternative 3 is Photovoltaic + Solar Thermal. The LCC analysis is present value method, its analytical period is 40 years and it is applied 3.2% of real discount rate. As a result, it is proved that Alternative 1 and Alternative 3 are not able to collectible the early investment cost during the analytical period and Alternative 2 is analyzed that its pay-back period of early investment cost is about 31 years. As the final outcome of this study on case analysis, it is more advantageous to use the combination of Geothermal and Photovoltaic energy than to use the other combination in LCC aspect.

  • 물리학적 측면에서 에너지의 개념은 일하는 능력으로 정의된다. 기존의 석탄 석유등 화석연료를 대체하기 위해 1980년 이후부터 천연가스 원자력 등의 사용이 증가하였으나 환경오염문제로 태양열 풍력 조력 지열 등 대체에너지로의 전환을 촉진하고 있다. 그러나 에너지 이용효율 측면에서는 원자력 에너지와 화약 가스 등 화학에너지와는 비교가 되지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 환경(대체)에너지의 한계점을 뛰어 넘을 수 있는 방안을 연구하기 위하여 그린에너지의 현황을 조사하였으며, 고효율 에너지원에 대한 청정화와 응용 및 개발방향에 대해 검토, 연구 하였다.

Feasibility Analysis of Alternative Electricity Systems by 2030 in the Post-Fukushima Era

  • The Fukushima nuclear accident in 2011 had an extensive impact on the national electricity plans. This paper outlines alternative electricity scenarios that meet the goals of nuclear phase-out and greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction. This paper also analyzes the results of each scenario in respect to the electricity mix, GHG emissions, costs and employment effects. The Long-range Energy Alternatives Planning system (LEAP) model was used to simulate the annual electricity demand and supply system from 2011 to 2030. The reference year was 2009. Scenarios are reference (where existing plans are continued), A1, A2, B1, B2, and C2 (where the levels of demand management and nuclear phase-out are different). The share of renewable energy in the electricity mix in 2030 for each scenario will be increased from about 1% in 2009 to 8% in the reference scenario and from 11% to 31% in five alternative scenarios. Total cumulative cost increases up to 14% more than the reference scenario by replacing nuclear power plants with renewable energy in alternative scenarios could be affordable. Deploying enough renewable energy to meet such targets requires a roadmap for electricity price realization, expansion of research, development and deployment for renewable energy technologies, establishment of an organization dedicated to renewable energy, and ambitious targets for renewable energy.

생물학적인 방법을 통한 대체 에너지로서의 수소생산 (Hydrogen Production in Biological Way as Alternative Energy)

  • 화석연료가 고갈되어 감에 따라 사람들은 이를 대처할 수 있는 대체에너지를 찾기 시작했다. 이 대체 에너지는 환경 친화적이며 재생 가능해야 된다는 단서가 붙는데 그 중 가장 많은 주목을 받은 것이 수소이다. 현재 수소는 다양한 방법으로 생산되고 있는데 생물학적으로 수소를 생산하는 방법이 가장 환경 친화적인 방법으로 인식되고 있다. 그러나 아직 생물학적으로 수소를 생산하는 방법은 아직 상업화하기엔 경쟁력이 많이 부족하기 때문에 많은 연구자들이 바이오 수소 생산 방법과 그 생산성 및 생산수율을 높이기 위하여 노력하고 있다. 본 고에서는 생물학적 수소생산의 다양한 개발 접근방법들의 진행 추이를 정리하였다.

무선 센서 네트워크에서 에너지 효율적인 클러스터의 대체노드 선출 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Election of Cluster Alternative node for Energy-Efficient in Wireless Sensor Networks)

  • 무선 센서 네트워크에서 효율적인 대체 노드의 관리 및 유지 방법에 관한 문제는 매우 근본적인 문제 중 하나이다. 특히 계층적 클러스터에서 각 그룹 멤버 노드의 대체 기능이 가능한 노드(Alternative node)를 선정하여 임의 노드의 경로 단절시 대체 경로를 찾기 위해서는 대체 노드의 기능이 절차에 따라 실시간으로 경로를 복구 할 수 있어야 하며, 에너지를 최소화하여 네트워크를 유지 관리가 가능해야 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 EEAP(Energy-Efficient Alternative Paths)는 이러한 양부 헤드 노드를 선정함에 있어서 에너지 잔량과 노드간의 거리등의 노드 속성 정보를 활용하여 각 경로에서 소모되는 비용과 노드의 관리에 있어 경비가 효율적인 경로의 대체 노드를 제공하게 됨으로 효율적인 에너지 관리를 할 수 있게 되어 전체 네트워크의 유지 시간을 향상 시킬 수 있는 결과를 보여주었다.

The relationship between public acceptance of nuclear power generation and spent nuclear fuel reuse: Implications for promotion of spent nuclear fuel reuse and public engagement

  • Nuclear energy sources are indispensable in cost effectively achieving carbon neutral economy, where public opinion is critical to adoption as the consequences of nuclear accident can be catastrophic. In this context, discussion on spent nuclear fuel is a prerequisite to expanding nuclear energy, as it leads to the issue of radioactive waste disposal. Given the dearth of study on spent nuclear fuel public acceptance, we use text mining and big data analysis on the news article and public comments data on Naver news portal to identify the Korean public opinion on spent nuclear fuel. We identify that the Korean public is more interested in the nuclear energy policy than spent nuclear fuel itself and that the alternative energy sources affect the position towards spent nuclear fuel. We recommend relating spent nuclear fuel issue with nuclear energy policy and environmental issues of alternative energy sources to further promote spent nuclear fuel.
