VE는 기능을 향상시키고 비용을 절감함으로써 시설물의 가치를 제고하는 강력한 도구로 활용되고 있다. VE의 프로세스 중 발주자의 요구사항을 파악하여 품질모델에 반영함으로써 개발된 대안이 발주자의 요구사항을 충족시키도록 하고 있다. 그러나 기능분석과 아이디어 도출 및 평가를 통하여 개발된 대안이 발주자의 요구사항을 얼마나 반영하고 있는지를 검증할 수 있는 프로세스는 없다. 본 연구는 VE Job Plan 중에 개발된 대안에 대한 발주자의 만족도를 평가할 수 있는 방법론을 개발하여 검증하고 효과성을 입증하고자 하였다. 상품기획에서 요구사항의 만족, 불만족 여부를 파악할 수 있는 카노(KANO) 모델을 VE의 대안 검증절차를 위한 방법론으로 설정하고 본 연구의 목적에 맞게 개선하여 적용하였다. 연구 결과 본 연구에서 개발된 대안평가 방법은 유용한 것으로 판단되었다. 향후 카노(KANO) 모델이 VE Job Plan 분석단계에서 VE대안에 대한 만족도를 평가하는데 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

The semiconductor industry is highly capital and technology intensive. Technology advancement on circuit design and process improvement requires chip makers continuously to invest a new fabrication facility that costs more than 3 billion US dollars. Especially major semiconductor companies recently started to discuss 450mm fabrication substituting existing 300mm fabrication of which facilities were initiated to build in 1998. If the plan is consolidated, the yield of 450mm facility would be more than doubled compared to existing 300mm facility. In steps of this important investment, facility layout has been acknowledged as one of the most important factors to be competitive in the market. This research proposes a new concept of semiconductor facility layout using hexagonal floor plan and its compatible material flow pattern. The main objective of this proposal is to improve the productivity of the unified layout that has been popularly used to build existing facilities. In this research, practical characteristics of the semiconductor fabrication are taken into account to develop a new layout alternative based on the analysis of Chung and Tanchoco (2009). The performance of the proposed layout alternative is analyzed using computer simulation and the results show that the new layout alternative outperforms the existing layout alternative, unified layout. However, a few questions on space efficiency to the new alternative were raised in communication with industry practitioners. These questions are left for a future study.

In this study, a design approach based on genetic algorithm is proposed to solve the manufacturing cell design problem considering alternative process plans and alternative machines. The problem is formulated as a 0-1 integer programming model which considers several manufacturing parameters, such as demand and processing time of part, machine capacity, manufacturing cell size, and the number of machines in a machine cell. A genetic algorithm is used to determine process plan for each part, part family and machine cell simultaneously.

For the improvement of the cultural rural village(new rural village project), it is very important to find the various planning alternatives. The purpose of this study is to suggest the ideas which are able to be applied to the rural site planning. The YoungMoon project site located in Kyunggi province was selected case study, The followings are suggestions developed in the process of preparing an alternative plan for the case study. 1) The preparing of the rural site plan is the organizing process of the planning ideas responsive to the condition of both a project site and the project directions. 2) In developing the schematic plan, it is very useful to introduce the cluster madang (small public open space) including 25 houses as a basic planning unit. 3) In comparison with the project plan, the alternative plan presented by this study has advantages of amenity and public space of the residential environment of the new rural village. It is properly said that we have to more and more discuss the best solution to take in planning the rural site, and this efforts contribute the improvement of the quality of the new village project.

This article focuses on the Active Plan for Alternative Dispute Resolution(ADR) in financial Dispute. The financial consumers of Korea had suffered greatly from the IMF in 1997 and the global financial crisis in 2008, which also increased financial conflicts significantly. In particular, active financial transaction, due to the development of computer and financial techniques causes frequent consumer financial conflicts. It is beneficial to settle them for judicial economy through an alternative conflict arbitration system instead of lawsuit at the court. Many advanced countries settle financial conflicts through various ADR in their numerous financial conflicts. In the settlement of financial conflict, the ADR system, covering mediation and arbitration, is useful and appropriate. Each governmental institution has various conflict settlement organizations, and it is necessary to operate them effectively. In order to settle financial conflicts properly, it is necessary to study law on financial consumer protection, and it is also necessary to understand practical custom and practical knowledge and to systematize them. Further, it is important to manage financial conflict-related data, to accumulate professional experiences, and to prepare a financial conflict settlement system in order to introduce financial education earlier to the whole nation.

After restructuring electricity industry, national long term electricity plans moved to "Basic plan of electricity supply and demand" from "Long term power development plan". The main point is a change of path from plan of power development at national level to plan of electricity supply and demand at company level. A proposal by generation company is surveyed and reflected to the basic plan of electricity supply and demand. The second plan shows over 40% reserves in result of the proposals. It is the time to evaluating the proposal which covers market function in the basic plan of electricity supply and demand at the stage of market change. This research presents the need of evaluation of proposals and the methods of evaluation. Also it presents the alternative planning procedure to reflecting the evaluation methods.

Recently, an active relation between the University and city has become an issue of increasing importance in the field of campus planning. Campus master plan is known as long range development plan, and is not simply an abstract drawing work but definite scaling work procedure. The purpose of this paper is to examine the planning process and relation between university and the region through master plan of master plan of D University and K University which located in Seoul city. From the research which sees master plan of D universities which are presented in existing an instance and K universities master plan did the service blueprint with base and investigated. And both university currently analyzed the situation which is being placed and grasps a problem point, presented that alternative with what kind of method.

A process planning system that generates alternative process plans offers multiple process plans for a part, thereby provides the flexibility to cope with the changes in shop floor status. In this paper, we intro- duce the concept of process net as a model for the generation of alternative process plans. We also show the usefulness of process net model in generating alternative process plans by implementing the developed sys- tem to construct process net, and devising an algorithm to generate alternative process plans for rotational parts.
