교류 발전기 고정자 사고 검출을 위한 최적 마더 웨이브릿의 선정 (A Selection of an Optimal Mother Wavelet for Stator Fault Detection of AC Generator)

  • For stator winding protection of AC generator, KCL(Kirchhoff's Current Law) is widely applied. Actually a CRDR(Current Ratio Differential Relay) based on DFT(Discrete Fourier Transform) has been used for protecting generator. It has been pointed out that defects can occur during the process of transforming a time domain signal into a frequency domain one which can lead to loss of time domain information. Wavelets techniques are proposed for the analysis of power system transients. This paper introduces an algorithm to choose a suitable Mother Wave1et for generator stator fault detection. For optimal selection, we analyzed db(Daubechies), sym(Symlets), and coif(Coiflects) of Mother Wavelet. And we compared with performance of the choice algorithm using detail coefficients energy and RMS(root mean square) error. It can be improved the reliability of the conventional DFT based CRDR. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed scheme is proved with simulation using collected data obtained from ATP (Alternative Transient Program) package.

수직 또는 수평으로 매설된 접지전극의 접지임피던스 측정시 보조전극 위치에 따른 전자유도의 영향 (Effects of Ac Mutual Coupling According to Location of Auxiliary Electrodes In Measuring the Ground Impedance of Vertically or Horizontally Buried Ground Electrode)

  • 접지임피던스의 측정에서는 교류의 전자유도결합을 최소화시키기 위해 보조전극을 직각으로 설치하며, 측정공간이 제한되는 경우 대안적 방법이 적용되고 있다 이때 접지임피던스의 측정에서는 교류 상호결합과 도전유도에 의한 측정오차를 검토할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 수직 또는 수평으로 매설된 접지극의 접지임피던스를 측정할 때 전류와 전위보조전극의 위치에 따른 측정의 정확도에 관한 것으로 전자유도결합에 의한 측정오차를 평가하였다. 결과적으로 교류 전자유도의 영향을 수직 접지극보다 수평접지극의 경우 크게 나타났으며, 교류 전자유도결합에 의한 측정오차는 전류와 전위보조선이 평행하게 배치되는 경우 가장 크게 나타났으며, 결국 61.8[%]법은 접지임피던스측정에는 부적합하다. 이론적으로 전류와 전위보조전극을 90[^{\circ}]$로 배치하면 전자유도결합은 나타나지 않는다. 측정공간의 제한으로 전류와 전위보조전극을 90[^{\circ}]$로 배치할 수 없는 경우 전자유도에 의한 오차를 저감시키기 위해서는 보조전극을 예각보다는 둔각으로 배치하는 것이 바람직하다.

대용량 전력 전송을 위한 초전도 전력케이블의 교류손실 특성 분석 (AC Loss Characteristic Analysis of Superconducting Power Cable for High Capacity Power Transmission)

  • 점차적으로 늘어나는 전력 수요의 공급을 원활히 하기 위해서 발전 설비 뿐만 아니라 전력을 전송하기 위한 전력케이블의 증설도 반드시 필요하다. 하지만 대부분의 도심지에 전력을 공급하기 위한 전력케이블의 증설은 추가적인 케이블의 설치공사를 위한 공간을 필요로 하고 현재 국내 도심지에 케이블 설치를 위한 공간이 부족한 실정이다. 이에 동일한 사이즈로 더 많은 전력을 전송할 수 있는 초전도 전력 케이블은 부족한 케이블의 설치공간을 극복할 수 있는 대안으로 등장하였다. 하지만 대용량의 전력 전송의 이점을 가지고 있는 초전도 전력케이블은 교류 시스템에서의 일부 손실을 가지고 있다. 따라서 교류 전력 전송 시스템에서 초전도 전력 케이블을 도입하기 위해서는 교류손실의 설계 및 분석이 반드시 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다양한 초전도 전력케이블의 교류 손실 분석을 통하여 실제 초전도 전력 케이블의 제조 및 실계통 적용에 고려하고자 한다. 단일 초전도 선재에 대한 교류 손실의 이론적인 계산 방법은 존재하지만 많은 수로 구성된 초전도 전력 케이블의 교류손실 계산은 쉽지가 않다. 저자는 초전도의 E-J (Electric field-current density) 특성이 고려된 전자기적 유한요소해석법을 이용하여 다양한 종류의 초전도 전력케이블 교류 손실을 분석하고자 한다. 또한 본 초전도 전력케이블의 교류손실 특성 분석은 실계통에 적용될 초전도 전력케이블의 설계 및 개발에 중요한 요소로 작용될 것이다.   • The effect of electric fields on the stability of non-premixed laminar lifted flame in coflow jets has been investigated by applying high voltage alternative current (AC) to the nozzle of propane fuel. The stable lifted flame which exist in far field of jets, the liftoff height was not effected by applied voltage. This implies that the cold jet between the nozzle and flame base can be analyzed with the previous cold jet theory. Flame liftoff and reattachment velocities were also measured as function of applied voltage and frequency. The fuel jet velocity at flame liftoff and reattachment increased with increasing voltage, implying that the range of flame srability can be extended with the AC charging. However the liftoff velocity increased with frequency of AC charging on nozzle, whereas the reattachment velocity decreases with frequency. The liftoff and reattachment velocities were correlated linearly with voltage considering the effects of frequency.

  • The Dielectric Barrier micro-hollow cathode structure and it's upper pD limitation are investigated for determining of optimum hollow cathode discharge condition. In experiment, discharge is sustained by AC diriving and investigated gas is pure Xe. From Experiment, Optimum pD range is lower than 0.72 torr.cm at pure Xe and Cu cathode.

High-Performance Schottky Junction for Self-Powered, Ultrafast, Broadband Alternating Current Photodetector

  • In this work, we developed silver nanowires and a silicon based Schottky junction and demonstrated ultrafast broadband photosensing behavior. The current device had a response speed that was ultrafast, with a rising time of 36 ㎲ and a falling time of 382 ㎲, and it had a high level of repeatability across a broad spectrum of wavelengths (λ = 365 to 940 nm). Furthermore, it exhibited excellent responsivity of 60 mA/W and a significant detectivity of 3.5 × 1012 Jones at a λ = 940 nm with an intensity of 0.2 mW cm-2 under zero bias operating voltage, which reflects a boost of 50 %, by using the AC PV effect. This excellent broadband performance was caused by the photon-induced alternative photocurrent effect, which changed the way the optoelectronics work. This innovative approach will open a second door to the potential design of a broadband ultrafast device for use in cutting-edge optoelectronics.

고추 역병 저항성 재료의 특성평가와 종자 증식 (Evaluation and Seed Increase of Sources of Resistance to Phytophthora capsici in Pepper)

  • 역병 저항성 재료로 도입하여 유지하고 있는 PI123469, PI201234, PI201232, AC2258 (=Line 29), CM334, KC268, KC358, KC820, KC821, KC822, KC823 (Line 29 = AC2258), KC462, KC463, KC464 혹은 이들 유전자원에서 선발한 계통들의 역병에 대한 저항성 검정, 원예적 특성 조사 및 종자증식을 실시하였다. PI123469, PI201234, PI201232, AC2258, KC823에서 선발된 계통들이 가장 저항성이 강한 것으로 나타났다. 동일한 유전자원에서 선발한 계통 간에도 저항성 수준에서 현저한 차이가 관찰되는 경우가 있었으며, 이러한 경우는 주로 유지 증식과정에 자연교잡이 일어난 결과로 추정되었다. 따라서 순도 높은 저항성 재료를 얻기 위해서는 봉지를 씌워 자식종자를 채종하는 것이 가장 안전하며, 다음으로는 계통 망실 혹은 망상을 이용하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 판단되었다.

지하철 운행 중 발생하는 객차 내부 극저주파 자기장(ELF-MF) 세기 평가 (Evaluation of Intensity of Extremely Low Frequency Magnetic Fields (ELF-MF) Inside of Cabins as Generated During Subway Operation)

  • Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the intensity of the extremely low frequency magnetic fields(ELF-MF) generated inside of the cabins during subway operation. Methods: The ELF-MF intensity were investigated on 30 subway lines in Korea, including in the Greater Seoul Metropolitan Area(Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province), Incheon, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, and Gwangju. ELF-MF intensity was measured at 0.9 m from the floor using EMDEX II meters with a resolution of $0.01{\mu}T$. All data were collected every three seconds and analyzed with EMCALC 2013 version 3.0B software. Basic characteristics of subway operation, including alternative current(AC) or direct current(DC), voltage level, and opening year of the line were investigated. Real-time information during measurement, such as the time of departure, moving and arrival of trains, were also recorded. Results: The arithmetic mean(AM) and maximum(Max) intensity of ELF-MF were $0.62{\mu}T$ and $11.51{\mu}T$, respectively. Compared by region, the ELF-MF intensity measured inside cabin were the highest in the Seoul Metropolitan Area($AM=0.80{\mu}T$), followed by Busan($AM=0.30{\mu}T$), Daegu($AM=0.29{\mu}T$), Incheon($AM=0.14{\mu}T$), Gwangju($AM=0.04{\mu}T$) and Daejeon($AM=0.03{\mu}T$). The average ELF-MF level measured in AC trains($AM=1.36{\mu}T$) was also significantly higher than in DC trains($AM=0.28{\mu}T$). In terms of the opening year of the subway, trains opened before 1990($AM=0.85{\mu}T$) was the highest and the lowest was 2000-2009($AM=0.24{\mu}T$). Conclusions: The AC supply has the greatest influence on the generation of the ELF-MF intensity in subway cabins.

플라즈마 가스 개질 응용을 위한 3상 아크 플라즈마 토치 시스템 특성 실험 (Basic Performance Test of a Three Phase AC Arc Plasma Torch System for Plasma Gas Reforming)

  • In this work, we report basic performance test results of a lab-scale three phase alternative current (AC) arc plasma torch system for plasma gas reforming applications. The suggested system primarily consists of three graphite electrodes inclined at 12.5° to the central axis, a 𝞥 150 mm cylindrical gas path and a three phase-60 Hz AC power supply. At air flow rate of 50 Lpm and arc currents of 100-175 A, test results revealed that plasma resistances were decreasing from 1.08 Ω to 0.53 Ω with the increase of plasma power from 9.3 kW to 13.8 kW, causing the decrease of power factor and increase of the line voltages. However, the injected air can be heated quickly up to the temperatures of >1,200℃ when injecting AC arc plasma powers of >10 kW.

자동차 전동 시스템을 위한 Programmable 저역 통과 필터 기반의 상전류 극성 판단 및 데드타임 보상 (Dead Time Compensation and Polarity Check of Phase Currents Based on Programmable Low-pass Filter for Automotive Electric Drive Systems)

  • This paper proposes a dead time compensation method for an AC motor drive using phase current polarity information which is detected based on a digital programmable low-pass filter (PLPF). The polarity detection using the PLPF is an alternative solution of a conventional method which uses a general low-pass filter (LPF) and hysteresis bands in order to avoid jittering due to noises. The PLPF not only adjusts its cutoff frequency according to the synchronous frequency of AC motors but also eliminates a gain attenuation and phase delay which are main problems of the general LPF. Through the PLPF, a fundamental component signal without gain and phase distortions is extracted from the measured raw current signal with noise. By use of the fundamental component, the polarity of current is effectively detected by reducing the hysteresis band. Finally, the proposed method compensates the dead time effects by adding or subtracting average voltage value to voltage references of the controller according to the detected current polarity information. The proposed compensation method is experimentally verified by compared with the conventional method.
