ARIMA-Intervention 시계열모형을 활용한 제주 국내선 항공여객수요 추정 (A Study on the Air Travel Demand Forecasting using time series ARIMA-Intervention Model)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of intervention variables which may affect the air travel demand for Jeju domestic flights and to anticipate the air travel demand for Jeju domestic flights. The air travel demand forecasts for Jeju domestic flights are conducted through ARIMA-Intervention Model selecting five intervention variables such as 2002 World Cup games, SARS, novel swine-origin influenza A, Yeonpyeongdo bombardment and Japan big earthquake. The result revealed that the risk factor such as the threat of war that is a negative intervention incident and occurred in Korea has the negative impact on the air travel demand due to the response of risk aversion by users. However, when local natural disasters (earthquakes, etc) occurring in neighboring courtiers and global outbreak of an epidemic gave the negligible impact to Korea, negative intervention incident would have a positive impact on air travel demand as a response to find alternative due to rational expectation of air travel customers. Also we realize that a mega-event such as the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup games reduced the air travel demand in a short-term period unlike the perception in which it will increase the air travel demand and travel demands in the corresponding area.

  • 지속적으로 증가하는 국제선 항공수요에 대웅하기 위해 지방 광역권에도 새로운 공항 건설 및 기존 공항 확장 계획이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 기존 항공수요예측은 우리나라 전체 항공수요 또는 주요 도시 간의 항공수요에 대해서 수행되어 왔으며, 지방의 고유 특성을 고려한 지역별 항공수요예측은 많이 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 영남권 국제선 항공수요를 대상으로 하였고, 현실적으로 관측하기 어려운 지방 광역권의 고유 특성을 반영할 수 있는 패널 자료를 활용한 fixed-effects model을 최적 모형으로 제안하였다. 모형 검증결과를 살펴보면 패널 자료 분석은 시계열 특성을 가지는 몇 개의 거시 사회경제지표만을 사용한 모형에서 다루기 어려운 허구적 회귀와 미관찰 이질성을 효과적으로 처리하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 다양한 통계적 검증과 적합성 평가를 통해서 본 연구에서 제안한 fixed-effects model이 다른 계량경제 모형들에 비해서 영남권 국제선 수요예측에 있어서 우수함을 증명하였다.

비선형모형을 이용한 냉방전력 수요행태 분석 (An Analysis on the Electricity Demand for Air Conditioning with Non-Linear Models)

  • 본 연구는 하계냉방수요가 기온관련변수의 변화에 대해 어떤 반응을 보이는가, 또 어떤 종류의 기온관련변수가 하계냉방수요에 대한 설명변수로 더 적절한가를 보기 위해 일반적인 선형모형은 물론 각기 다른 특성을 가지고 있는 지수모형과 파워모형, S곡선모형 등 비선형모형을 이용하여 2004년부터 2007년까지 최근 4년간 자료를 분석하였다. 실증분석결과 본 연구에서는 기온관련변수들 가운데 불쾌지수가 일최고기온에 비해 설명력이 우수하다는 사실과 함께 하계냉방전력수요가 전체 4개년도 중 2006년을 제외한 다른 모든 연도들에 대해 지수모형을 따라 기온관련변수의 변화에 대응하고 있는 사실을 규명하였다. 또 소득수준의 향상을 반영하는 비냉방전력수요의 꾸준한 증가와 함께 냉방전력수요도 기온관련변수에 매년 더욱 민감하게 반응하고 있는 사실도 발견하였다.

  • Demand forecasting for railroad traffic is fairly important to establish future policy and plan. The future demand of railroad traffic can be predicted by analyzing the demand of air, marine and bus traffic which influence the demand of railroad traffic. In this study, forecasting the demand of railroad traffic is implemented through neural network using the demand of air, marine and bus traffic. Estimate accuracy of the demand of railroad traffic was shown about 84% through neural net model proposed.

부산권 항공수요예측 연구 (A Study on the Future Air Traffic Demand in Busan Metropolitan Area)

  • Since the 90's, Korean Air transport market has been more expanded because of economic growth, the construction of airport infrastructure, and the advent of low cost carrier. Especially, the air traffic demand in Busan metropolitan area has been increasing steadily. Therefore, in this paper, we developed a new forecasting model which could expect the future air traffic demand in Busan area. This model is developed by regression analysis using social-economic variables such as GRDP, income, and the number of people, and dummy variables, for instance, KTX opening, Japan economic depression, SARS and so on. Result from demand forecasting by this new model suggests that the new airport system is needed in order to sustain the increasing air traffic demand in Busan area.

경제환경 변화와 항공여객 수요 간의 관계 분석: 인천국제공항을 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationship between Economic Change and Air Passenger Demand: Focus on Incheon International Airport)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of macroeconomic variables on air passenger demand and provide useful information to airport managers and policymakers. Therefore, using the quarterly macroeconomic indicators from 2002 to 2017, the relationship with air passenger demand was demonstrated by multiple regression analysis. In the previous studies, they used GDP, Korea Treasury Bond, KOSPI index, USD/KRW Exchange Rate, and WTI Crude Oil Price variables. In this study, we used the Coincident Composite Index, Employment Rate, Consumer Sentiment Index, and Private Consumption Rate used as additional variables. It has confirmed that if the consumption of research results expands or the economic environment is right, it will affect the increase in international passengers. In other words, it confirmed that the overall economic situation acts as the main factor determining air passenger demand. It confirmed that the economic environment at the past has a significant impact on air passenger demand.

회귀모형을 이용한 군 항공화물수요 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on Estimating of Air Freight Demand using Regression Model)

  • 현재 공군은 중앙창에서 국내 조달물자와 해외 도입물자를 공급받아 보관하고 전국 각 기지로 수송하여 기지별로 필요한 물자를 공급하고 있다. 이러한 물자를 중앙물자라고 부르며 항공, 철도, 육로 등 다양한 방편을 이용하여 수송한다. 이 중 항공이 차지하는 비중은 전체 물자의 10% 정도이며, 그 물량이 날로 증가하고 있다. 이렇듯 군에서 항공수송의 비중이 점점 커져가고 있지만, 항공수송을 활성화시키기 위한 수요예측이나 노선설계와 같은 연구는 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구는 회귀분석을 통하여 항공수송에 미치는 주요 요인과 영향력을 검증하였고 산출된 회귀모형식은 군 항공화물수요 예측에 있어 유용한 자료가 될 것이다.

서울지역의 냉난방 설비시장의 수요자 요구 (Consumers' demand for air-conditioning market)

  • The objectives of this study was to research and analyze the actual conditions of using air-conditioning, which will help to understand the households' demand on a air-conditioning. The target of this study was the households in the seoul area. The data was collected by considering housing type, size & heating systems. On the basis of these findings, are the result of the demand for air-conditioning. 1)The possibility of purchasing this air-conditioning was higher among the households with ₩1,000,000 monthly income. Especially, the households with ₩2,000,000 to ₩2,500,000 monthly income were the main class of the demand. 2)The possibility of purchasing it was higher from husband's age over 30. 3)Both apartment and detached house dwellers were high in purchasing it. 4)The bigger the house was, the higher the possibility of purchasing it. Also, the function and the condition of air-cleaning function, which was concerning most on the economic point of view.

한국의 국제선 항공수요 예측과 검토 (Forecast and Review of International Airline demand in Korea)

  • In the past 30 years, our aviation demand has been growing continuously. As such, the importance of the demand forecasting field is increasing. In this study, the factors influencing Korea's international air demand were selected, and the international air demand was analyzed, forecasted and reviewed through OLS multiple regression analysis. As a result, passenger demand was affected by GDP per capita, oil price and exchange rate, while cargo demand was affected by GDP per capita and private consumption growth rate. In particular, passenger demand was analyzed to be sensitive to temporary external shocks, and cargo demand was more affected by economic variables than temporary external shocks. Demand forecasting, OLS multiple regression analysis, passenger demand, cargo demand, transient external shocks, economic variables.

변풍량 공조시스템의 요구외기량 확보를 위한 제어방식 (Control Methods of the VAV Air Handling Unit for the Required Outdoor Air Demand)

  • Control algorithms of an air handling unit by using the mixing box plenum pressures were developed and verified by experiments. Control algorithms developed for this study were the setpoint algorithms for the outdoor damper position, the outdoor/fixed plenum pressure, and the return/exhaust plenum pressure. The outdoor/fixed plenum pressure setpoint was used to control the bypass damper position, and the return/exhaust plenum pressure setpoint was used to control the return fan speed. Experimental results showed the good control of the required outdoor air demand. Therefore, setpoint algorithms developed for this study may effectively be applied for the control of the VAV air handling unit.
