합성설계방법에 의한 고조파 억제용 도파관형 저역통과 여파기의 설계 (Design of the harmonic rejection waveguide lowpass filters by synthesis method)

  • In this paper, a very efficient CAD algorithm is proposedd where rhodes formulae combined with distributed lowpass prototype filter in order to design the corrugated waveguide harmonic rejection filters accurately. The proposed algorithm resolves effectively the problem of proximity effect without any optimiation or iterative design process by using the internally convexed corrugated structure. A 13-section tapered corrugated lowpass filter has been designed by the proposed algorithm and fabricated. The experimental results are in good agreement with the calculated results.

웹기반 진단 보조 시스템의 진단 일치도 연구 (A Study for Diagnostic Agreement between Web-based Diagnosis Support System and Korean Medical Doctors' Diagnosis)

  • Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the clinical validity of the system by conducting a clinical study to assess the diagnostic agreement between the system and Korean medical doctors. Methods: This study was conducted from September 7, 2023, to December 7, 2023, across five Korean medicine institutions, involving 100 adult participants aged 20-64 who consented to participate. Participants first entered their symptoms into a web-based program, which utilized an AI-based algorithm to diagnose 36 types of pattern differentiation. Subsequently, Korean medical doctors conducted face-to-face diagnoses using the same 36 types. The diagnostic agreement between the system and the doctors' diagnoses was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, and the results were expressed as a percentage agreement. Results: Analysis of the diagnostic data from 100 participants revealed that the web-based diagnosis support system identified an average of 7.76±0.79 patterns per patient, while Korean medical doctors identified an average of 7.99±0.10 patterns per patient. The diagnostic agreement between the system and the doctors showed an average of 7.08±1.08 patterns per patient, with an overall diagnostic agreement rate of 88.57±13.31%. Conclusion: This study developed a web-based diagnosis support system for traditional Korean medicine and evaluated its clinical validity by assessing diagnostic agreement. Comparing the diagnoses of the system with those of Korean medical doctors for 100 patients, the system showed an approximately 89% agreement rate with the clinical diagnoses. The system holds potential for aiding Korean medical doctors in pattern differentiation diagnosis in clinical practice.

  • Seo와 Sweeny는 통신 당사자간의 직접적인 세션키(session key) 교환을 위해 SAKA(Simple Authenticated Key Agreement Algorithm)를 제안했다. SAKA는 패스워드(password)를 사용하여 사용자인증 기능을 제공하는 변형된 Diffie-Hellman 키 교환 프로토콜로써, 키 생성 및 사용자 인증 시 요구되는 계산량과 메시지 전송량을 고려할 때 효율적인 프로토콜이다. 그러나, 최근에 Lin은 SAKA의 안전성에 취약점이 있음을 지적하고 개선된 프로토콜을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 개선된 프로토콜이 여전히 재전송 공격(replay attack)에 안전하지 않기 때문에 사용자 인증을 제공 할 수 없음을 보인다.

Comparisons of Core Temperature Between a Telemetric Pill and Heart Rate Estimated Core Temperature in Firefighters

  • Background: Firefighters may experience high environmental temperatures or carry out intensive physical tasks, or both, which leads to increased core body temperature and risk of fatalities. Hence there is a need to remotely and non-invasively monitor core body temperature. Methods: Estimated (heart rate algorithm) and actual core body temperature (ingested telemetric pill) measures were collected simultaneously for comparison during training exercises on 44 firefighter volunteers. Results: Prediction of core body temperature varied, with no specific identifiable pattern between the algorithm values and directly measured body core temperatures. Group agreement of Lin's Concordance of 0.74 (95% Upper 0.75, lower CI 0.73), was deemed poor. Conclusion: From individual agreement data Lin's Concordance was variable (Min 0.11, CI 0.13-0.01; Max 0.83, CI 0.86-0.80), indicating that the heart rate algorithm approach was not suitable for core body temperature monitoring in this population group, especially at the higher more critical core body temperatures seen.

  • 최근 사물인터넷(Internet of Things, IoT) 기기 사용 증가로 인해 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서버로 전송해 처리하는 데이터양이 급증하고, 그 결과 네트워크 관련 문제점(지연, 서버의 과부하 및 보안 위협)들이 크게 대두되고 있다. 특히, 연산 능력이 클라우드 컴퓨팅보다 낮은 에지 컴퓨팅은 수많은 IoT 기기들을 손쉽게 인증할 수 있는 경량화된 인증 알고리즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 IoT와 에지 장치 간 익명성과 순방향·역방향의 비밀성을 보장하고 중간자 공격과 재전송 공격에 안정적이며, 에지 장치와 IoT 기기 특성에 적합한 경량화 알고리즘의 키 동의 프로토콜을 제안하였고, 제안한 키 동의 프로토콜을 기존 연구와 비교·분석한 결과 IoT 기기와 에지 장치에서 효율적으로 사용 가능한 경량화 프로토콜임을 보였다.

유정압테이블의 정밀도향상을 위한 수정가공 알고리즘 (Corrective machining Algorithm for Improving the Motion Accuracy of Hydrostatic Table)

  • For improving the motion accuracy of hydrostatic table, corrective machining algorithm is proposed in this paper. The algorithm consists of three main processes. Reverse analysis is performed firstly to estimate rail profile from measured linear and angular motion error, in the algorithm. For the next step, correctwe machining information is decided as referring to the estimating rail profile. Finally, motion errors on correctively machined rail are analized by using motion error analysls method proposed in the previous paper. These processes can be rtcrated if the analized motion errors are worse than target accuracy. In order to verify the validity of the algorithm theoretically, motion errors by the estimated rail after corrective machining are compared with motion errors by true rail assumed as the measured value. Estimated motion errors show good agreement with assumed values, and it is confirmed that the algorithm IS effective to acquire the corrective machming information to improve the accuracy of hydrostatic table.

Moment-Based Density Approximation Algorithm for Symmetric Distributions

  • Given the moments of a symmetric random variable, its density and distribution functions can be accurately approximated by making use of the algorithm proposed in this paper. This algorithm is specially designed for approximating symmetric distributions and comprises of four phases. This approach is essentially based on the transformation of variable technique and moment-based density approximants expressed in terms of the product of an appropriate initial approximant and a polynomial adjustment. Probabilistic quantities such as percentage points and percentiles can also be accurately determined from approximation of the corresponding distribution functions. This algorithm is not only conceptually simple but also easy to implement. As illustrated by the first two numerical examples, the density functions so obtained are in good agreement with the exact values. Moreover, the proposed approximation algorithm can provide the more accurate quantities than direct approximation as shown in the last example.

허가형 블록체인 합의알고리즘의 성능평가항목 연구 (A Study on Performance Evaluation Factors of Permissioned Blockchain Consensus Algorithm)

  • 블록체인은 중앙 집중 시스템 형태에서 벗어난 탈중앙화 형태의 데이터 관리를 통하여 데이터 투명성과 보안성을 높일 수 있다. 블록체인 플랫폼 중 허가형 블록체인은 신뢰기반의 허가된 노드만이 분산 네트워크에 참여할 수 있다. 허가형 블록체인의 특징을 고려하였을 때 합의 알고리즘 선정을 위한 조건으로 네트워크 통신 속도 및 거래내역의 최종성 합의, 안정성 등의 고려가 필요하다. 허가형 블록체인 환경의 합의 알고리즘은 PoA, PBFT, Raft 등 다양하지만 합의 알고리즘 선정을 위한 다양한 평가요소가 존재하지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 허가형 블록체인의 각 합의 알고리즘의 특징을 분석하고 네트워크를 구성하는 사용자 환경의 특징을 고려한 효율적 합의 알고리즘 선정을 위하여 다양한 성능평가항목을 제안하였다. 제안한 성능평가항목은 신뢰를 전제로 한 노드 간 네트워크 속도, 안정성, 최종성 합의의 적합성 등을 고려할 수 있으며 이를 통하여 보다 효율적인 블록체인 네트워크 환경을 구성할 수 있다.

디지털 유방촬영술에서 BI-RADS의 구분에 따른 알고리즘별 영상의 융복합적 평가 (Convergence of the Image Evaluation by BI-RADS Classification in Accordance with Algorithms in DR Mammography)

  • BI-RADS의 구분에 따라 Algorithm의 변화로 영상의 질을 개선하는 기법을 이용하여 시각적 가시화의 차이를 일치도와 민감도로 평가하였다. 유방촬영을 시행한 172명을 대상으로 유방촬영의 판독소견과 자료 체계의 신뢰도를 평가하였다. Category 5단계(C0,C1,C2,C3,C4), 유방 실질 함유량 4단계(Fatty, Fibroglandular, Heterogeneous nodular, Diffuse dense), 병변 3종류(석회화, 결절, 종괴)로 분류하여 TE와 PV의 신뢰도를 평가하고, 민감도와 진단의 일치도, 정확도를 평가함으로 다방면의 융복합적 분석을 하였다. TE보다 PV가 병변의 신뢰도와 민감도와 정확도가 높았다. 유방 실질 함유량에 따른 평가에서 정확도는 PV가 높았다. TE에서는 Fatty는 모두에서, Fibroglandular는 종괴와 석회화가, Diffuse dense는 결절과 석회화가 구별이 용이하였다. PV에서는 Fatty는 모두에서, Fibroglandular는 결절, Heterogeneous nodular은 결절과 종괴, Diffuse dense는 결절과 석회화가 구별이 용이하였다. 민감도는 결절은 Fatty, Fibroglandular, Heterogeneous nodular에서 TE가 더 민감했고, 종괴에서는 Heterogeneous nodular, Diffuse dense에서 TE가 더 민감했으며, 석회화에서는 모두에서 TE가 더 민감하였다. 이에 Algorithm 기법을 적절히 변화시켜 활용한다면 진단과 판독에 정확성을 높일 것이라 사료된다.

입원 환자의 욕창예방과 중재를 위한 알고리즘 개발 (Development of an Algorithm for the Prevention and Management of Pressure Ulcers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an algorithm for preventing and managing of pressure ulcer and to verify the its appropriateness. Methods: The first step was development of a pre-algorithm through a literature review and expert opinion. The second step was to establish content validity by submitting the algorithm questionnaires about the content to 12 experts. The third step was the revision of the algorithm. The fourth and last step was to establish the clinical validity of the algorithm with 25 experienced nurses. Results: For the ease of the practitioner the algorithm for prevention and the management of pressure ulcers was confined to one page depicting the main algorithm pathway and seven stepwise guidelines. The guidelines included skin care of pressure ulcer prevention, mechanical loading care, support surface care, reposition care of pressure ulcer, and Stages II, III and IV explanations along with debridement/wound irrigation and infection control. Most of all algorithm courses chosen more than 80% of agreement by expert index of content validity. The usefulness, appropriateness, and convenience of the algorithm were demonstrated through clinical validity with intensive care unit and ward nurses. Conclusion: The algorithm will improve the quality of pressure ulcer nursing care as it provides a model for decision making for clinical nurses as well as providing consistent and integrated nursing care for patients with pressure ulcer throughout an institution.
