This research is designed to systemize the protection theory as well as to supplement the missing theory by organizing various studies on the protective functions of celothes by domestic and foreign scholers of clothing. Human environments is classified two standpoints : (1) Physical environments, and (2) man built psychological environments including socio-physical environments, socio-biological environments, behavioral environments, socio-psychological environments and institution environments. Clothes acting as a physical protection might be of (1) extreme air temperature: Parka; (2) high relative humidity: raincoat; (3) air movement: windbreaker; (4) radiation: space suit; (5) atmospheric pressure: deep sea diver suit; (6) mechanical agent: bullet proof vest; (7) physical agent: (8) chemical agent: (9) biological agent: surgeon's gown, cap, and mask. Also dresses act to support the body comfort, health and the well-being; corset for bad back patient, wrist band for people with weak wrist, bottom half of pressure suit for people with low blood pressure. Clothes acting as a psychological protection might be of (1) influence of magic and of spirits: (2) moral danger; (3) the general unfriendliness of the world as a whole; a reassurance against the lack of love. Clothes should provide the maximum of satisfaction in accordance with the full recognition of reality. The reality should aim at the formulation of general laws concerning the most pleasing forms, colors, and styles to suit. The complex physiological anatomical and psychological aspects of individual personalities.

This paper presents a distance relaying algorithm for phase-to-ground faults in transmission lines under Multi-Agent protection environment. In normal condition, a distance relay agent stores the latest states, e.g., voltage of source side, voltage of the opposite side and the loading conditions, etc., through communication between the agents. Once a fault occurs, the relay calculates the fault location using the knowledge about the states just before the fault happens. This stand-alone operation is to improve reliability under the fault condition at which the accuracy or time required for communication may not be guaranteed. The mathematical expression of fault location is derived through loop analysis, before hand, in the manner that both fault current from the opposite end and fault resistance are included implicitly so that their effects are minimized. The suggested algorithm is applied to a typical transmission system with two power sources on both ends to show its effectiveness.

Nanoparticles are commonly used to avoid the opaque white color of TiO2 based sunscreen. However, a dispersing agent is typically required because of the tendency of the nanoparticles (NPs) to agglomerate. Stearic acid is one kind of dispersing agent often used for sunscreen products. However, according to the MSDS data sheet on stearic acid, stearic acid is highly hazardous to aquatic life and causes irritation on human skin. To avoid this problem, in this study a safer organic dispersing agent extracted from Korean seaweed has been studied to disperse TiO2 nanoparticles, and further use as an active agent in sunscreen products. The presence of phytochemicals in seaweed extract, especially alginate, can disperse TiO2 nanoparticles and improve TiO2 dispersion properties. Results show that seaweed extract can improve the dispersion properties of TiO2 nanoparticles and sunscreen products. Reducing the agglomeration of TiO2 nanoparticles improves sunscreen properties, by making it less opaque white in color, and increasing UV protection value. It was also confirmed that adding seaweed extract into sunscreen products had no irritating effects on the human skin, making it more desirable for cosmetics application.
Epoxy coatings were prepared to give a different corrosion protection by reacting it with two different kinds of curing agent, and then effects of the curing agents on the structure, surface hydrophobic tendency, water transport behavior and hence corrosion protection of epoxy coatings were examined using hygrothermal cyclic test, and impedance analysis. In the results of EIS, the corrosion protection of epoxy coating cured by polyamide shows better than epoxy coating cured by polyamide epoxy adduct. It was well agreed with its water transport behavior and hydrophobic tendency.

We are sure that RFID system should be a widely used automatic identification system because of its various advantages and applications. However, many people know that invasions of privacy in RFID system is still critical problem that makes it difficult to be used. Many works for solving this problem have focused on light-weight cryptographic functioning in the RFID tag. An agent scheme is another approach that an agent device controls communications between the tag and the reader for protecting privacy. Generally an agent device has strong security modules and enough capability to process high-level cryptographic protocols and can guarantees consumer privacy. In this paper, we present an enhanced mobile agent for RFID privacy protection. In enhanced MARP, we modified some phases of the original MARP to reduce the probability of successful eavesdropping and to reduce the number of tag's protocol participation. And back-end server can authenticate mobile agents more easily using public key cryptography in this scheme. It guarantees not only privacy protection but also preventing forgery.

Fuel or oil which is leaked into the aircraft engine bay can make a fire when it is contacted to the engine surface of hot temperature. In order to avoid fire, the fire extinguish system should be designed so that the extinguishing agent is quickly injected and its concentration keeps higher in the fire protection region. FAA requires that the extinguishing agent injected within the fire protection region should be sustained longer than 0.5 second on keeping a higher concentration than 6%. For developing a fire protection system satisfying the FAA regulation, numerical and experimental studies for the injection time and the concentration of the extinguishing agent were conducted. These results showed similar trend for the injection time or concentration, but the data acquisition was delayed due to the response of the sensors in the experiment.

In Korea, permeable protection clothes for chemical agent is being developed and distributed. But permeable protection clothes are vulnerable for biological agent of particle type. Therefore selective permeable membranes are being developed to protect chemical agent and biological agent simultaneously. In this study, aerosol collection efficiency test was performed to validate the protection performance of permeable clothes and selective permeable membranes. Aerosol collection efficiency test was performed by using the aerosol test equipment that could test aerosol particle diameter from $0.005{\mu}m$ to $3.0{\mu}m$. This study shows the test method and performance test results for collection efficiency by using the aerosol test equipment.
The protection relay keeps electric power facilities by using signals of the voltage and current which are input and output terminals of each equipment. Each relay performances protection algorithm by using informations of own protecting zone. To prevent the mal-operation in inrush current, established transformer differential protection method uses the second harmonics as blocking signal. This method is not operate at the initial inrush. However, in case of the parallel operation, if the initial inrush is occurred in one transformer which is generated, the sympathetic inrush Is occurred in adjacent transformer. This paper approach the sympathetic inrush detecting algorithm of a transformer based on agent. Proposed algorithm, when inrush current occurred, distinguish sympathetic inrush or not by using differential current of adjacent transformer. This algorithm have the advantage of the distinguishing initial inrush and sympathetic inrush at operation of parallel transformer

As the logistic environment of digital contents is rapidly changing, the protection of the digital rights for digital content has been recognized as one of critical issues. Digital Right Management(DRM) has taken much interest Internet Service Provider(ISP), authors and publishers of digital content as an interested approach to create a trusted environment for access and use of digital resources. This paper propose an interested digital rights protection scheme using license agent to address problems facing contemporary DRM approached : static digital rights management, and limited application to on-line environment. We introduce a dynamic mission control technology to realize dynamic digital rights management. And we incorporate license agent to on- and off-line monitoring and tracking. The proposed system prevent illegal access and use by using PBD security method real time action monitoring for user, data security for itself.
