Groundwater Dam is one of the reliable techniques to get huge amount of groundwater abstraction for municipal, agricultural, drinking, industrial water supply system. It can be a major technique to solve water shortage problems when it based on the sufficient watershed, proper topology, and adequate aquifer distribution and pollution control, Groundwater Dam had initiated its construction by RDC(former KARICO) in early eighties in Korea and 4 of it in total were added more until late eighty. However, this technique has shrunken its application due to gradually decreased yield rate after sever years of construction. After we studied several existing sites precisely, we concluded that the main reason of decreasing yield rate was come form engineering roughness on construction in early nineties. Theoretically, the technique itself seemed to be little detectives however, there were a little application in the fields in Korea. With the recent advance in engineering fields, those defects in construction would be no longer obstacle to construct underground wall and the technique could be a one of major ground water production technique in the future. It is essential to study following items thoroughly before select the appropriate site. The topography and the site of the underground wall, aquifer distribution, the specific technique for wall construction to block groundwater flow effectively and strict quality control during construction are critical. The surface and ground water monitoring data should be collected. Sustainability of the Groundwater Dam with huge groundwater abstraction in long term should be based on the long-term water balance analysis for each site. The water quality, environmental effect analysis and maintenance achedule should be also analyzed and planned in prior. It is suggested that the two consecutive underground wall in the coastal area to prevent seawater intrusion beneath a single wall.
Recently, a location management is being more important in mobile communication systems due to an explosive increase of mobile users. Current systems have used a concept of location area. Based on this concept, a mobile user performs a location update whenever it moves into a new location area. However, this scheme can not avoid unnecessary location updates when a mobile user moves around with high movement rate as compared to call arrival rate. That results in tremendous location management cost. To overcome this drawback, our proposal divides service areas into two sets: One is a set of areas that mobile users move with high speed and another is a set of areas that they move with low speed. After establishing these two sets, this paper employs different location tracking schemes for each sets. Generally, most mobile users with high speed have a low CMR and a regular direction until they arrive at their destination. Using such the moving behavior, systems can predict a mobile user's next location area in advance. When the mobile user moves into the predicted location, our proposal does not perform a location update. Thus, it can reduce overall location management cost. The Markov model is used to analyze the performance of our proposal. Using the model, this paper compares our proposal with IS-41 and TLA. The analytic results show that as CMR grows lower, an overall cost of our proposal becomes less, particularly if a mobile user frequently moves into the specific location are predicted by mobile systems. Also, our proposal has a better performance than other two schemes when the communication cost between HLR and VLR is high.

This paper proposes "The Agriculture Decision-making System(ADS) based on Deep Learning for improving crop productivity" that collects weather information based on location supporting precision agriculture, predicts current crop condition by using the collected information and real time crop data, and notifies a farmer of the result. The system works as follows. The ICM(Information Collection Module) collects weather information based on location supporting precision agriculture. The DRCM(Deep learning based Risk Calculation Module) predicts whether the C, H, N and moisture content of soil are appropriate to grow specific crops according to current weather. The RNM(Risk Notification Module) notifies a farmer of the prediction result based on the DRCM. The proposed system improves the stability because it reduces the accuracy reduction rate as the amount of data increases and is apply the unsupervised learning to the analysis stage compared to the existing system. As a result, the simulation result shows that the ADS improved the success rate of data analysis by about 6%. And the ADS predicts the current crop growth condition accurately, prevents in advance the crop diseases in various environments, and provides the optimized condition for growing crops.
This research is to examine the detoxication effect of methionine on cadmium intoxication For this purpose, this paper provides an analysis of the data on the groups of mice (ICR), one group of mice treated with 40 ppm of cadmium only. and other groups of mice combined-treated with cadmium and 0.1%, 0.25%, 0.5% and 1% methionine. After breeding for 40 days, the data on the growth of mice, changes in activation of alkaline phosphatase in blood, and the cadmium content in the liver and kidney, are analysed. The results were as follows: 1) The growth-rate of mice, in the cadmium only injected group, was declined by 9% in comparison with the control group after 40 days. But the two groups of cadmium with 0.5% and 1% methionine showed the rise of 9% ana 14% respectively above the growth-rate of the control group. The results from the groups of cadmium with 0.1% and 0.25%, methionine were similar to that from the cadmium only injected group. 3) Changes in activation of alkaline phosphatase in blood decreased to 86.45% in the cadmium only injected group behind the 100% activation of the control group. The groups of cadmium with 0.1% and 0.25% methionine showed no difference with the former group. But the groups of cadmium with 0.5% and 1% methionine recovered to the 93.14% and 96.08% of activation respectively. 3) The mean content of cadmium in the liver was $0.028{\pm}0.001{\mu}g/g$ in the control group. The cadmium only injected group showed the mean cadmium content of $2.80{\pm}0.62{\mu}g/g$ in the liver, which was similar to $2.82{\pm}1.03{\mu}g/g$ in the group of cadmium with 0.1% methionine, and $2.56{\pm}0.77{\mu}g/g$ in the group of cadmium with 0.25% methionine. But the groups of cadmium with 0.5% and 1% methionine showed the reduction of cadmium contents in the liver to $1.84{\pm}0.56{\mu}g/g$ and $1.74{\pm}0.35{\mu}g/g$ respectively. In the kidney, the groups of cadmium with 0.1%, 0.25% and 0.5% methionine shelved the similar cadmium content to the group treated with cadmium only. But the group of cadmium with 1% methionine showed a small increase to $4.13{\pm}1.00{\mu}g/g$ in comparison with the group treated with cadmium only. This analysis proves that the mobility and diffusion of cadmium in tile tissues advance faster ill the group treated with cadmium and methionine than in the group treated with cadmium only.
The purpose of this study was to propose a model which is suitable for the actual delivery system by designing a fetal delivery hospital operation management and fetal health classification model. The number of deaths during childbirth is similar to the number of maternal mortality rate of 295,000 as of 2017. Among those numbers, 94% of deaths are preventable in most cases. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed a model that predicts the health condition of the fetus using data like heart rate of fetuses, fetal movements, uterine contractions, etc. that are extracted from the Cardiotocograms(CTG) test using a random forest. If the redundancy of the data is unbalanced, This proposed model guarantees a stable management of the fetal delivery health management system. To secure the accuracy of the fetal delivery health management system, we remove the outlier which embedded in the system, by setting thresholds for the upper and lower standard deviations. In addition, as the proportion of the sequence class uses the health status of fetus, a small number of classes were replicated by data-resampling to balance the classes. We had the 4~5% improvement and as the result we reached the accuracy of 97.75%. It is expected that the developed model will contribute to prevent death and effective fetal health management, also disease prevention by predicting and managing the fetus'deaths and diseases accurately in advance.
Using passive electric field sensor which operates in non-contact mode, we can measure the electric potential induced from the change of electric charges on a sensor caused by the movement of human body or hands. In this study, we propose a new method, which utilizes PLN induced to the sensor around the moving object, to detect one's hand movement and extract gesture frames from the detected signals. Signals from the EPS sensors include a large amount of power line noise usually existing in the places such as rooms or buildings. Using the fact that the PLN is shielded in part by human access to the sensor, signals caused by motion or hand movement are detected. PLN consists mainly of signals with frequency of 60 Hz and its harmonics. In our proposed method, signals only 120 Hz component in frequency domain are chosen selectively and exclusively utilized for detection of hand movement. We use FFT to measure a spectral-separated frequency signal. The signals obtained from sensors in this way are continued to be compared with the threshold preset in advance. Once motion signals are detected passing throng the threshold, we determine the motion frame based on period between the first threshold passing time and the last one. The motion detection rate of our proposed method was about 90% while the correct frame extraction rate was about 85%. The method like our method, which use PLN signal in order to extract useful data about motion movement from non-contact mode EPS sensors, has been rarely reported or published in recent. This research results can be expected to be useful especially in circumstance of having surrounding PLN.

In this paper, we developed a 100% detection system for entering and leaving vehicles by improving the detection rate of existing detection cameras based on the LiDAR sensor, which is one of the core technologies of the 4th industrial revolution. Since the currently operating parking lot depends only on the recognition rate of the license plate number of about 98%, there are various problems such as inconsistency in the entry/exit count, inability to make a reservation in advance due to inaccurate information provision, and inconsistency in real-time parking information. Parking status information should be managed with 100% accuracy, and for this, we built a parking lot entrance/exit detection system using LIDAR. When a parking system is developed by applying the LIDAR sensor, which is mainly used to detect vehicles and objects in autonomous vehicles, it is possible to improve the accuracy of vehicle entry/exit information and the reliability of the entry/exit count with the detected sensing information. The resolution of LIDAR was guaranteed to be 100%, and it was possible to implement so that the sum of entering (+) and exiting (-) vehicles in the parking lot was 0. As a result of testing with 3,000 actual parking lot entrances and exits, the accuracy of entering and exiting parking vehicles was 100%.
It is necessary to prepare a stable production base in advance for a change in the global grain market, and it is required to prepare comprehensive countermeasures such as securing technical skills and cultivation technology. Therefore, Korea, which relies on imports of major grains other than rice, could be exposed to a food crisis at any time unless the self-sufficiency rate of grains is improved. In order to respond to this new food crisis, it is necessary to find ways to efficiently utilize rice fields to increase the domestic grain self-sufficiency rate. From this point of view, interest and demand for the generalization of farmland that can be used as paddy fields and returned to paddy fields are increasing, and related research is also being continuously performed. In order to select a multipurpose farmland project site, this study extracted farmland containing 10% or more purchased and stockpiled farmland through spatial analysis (buffer, dissolve, intersect, etc.), and finally presented areas subject to multipurpose farmland projects. The target site for the multipurpose farmland project was finally selected by integrating data onto a point-by-point basis so that the current status of farmland purchased and stockpiled, Farm Manager Registration Records, and the Korean Soil Information System data (drainage classes, surface soil texture, field-suitability classification, etc.) can be used in combination. There are 175 areas where the multipurpose farmland is possible. Incheon 2, Gyeongbuk 40, Gangwon 2, Chungbuk 7, Chungnam 48, Jeonbuk 34, Jeonnam 19, Gyeongbuk 15, Gyeongnam 8. Chungcheongnam-do has the most target site for the multipurpose farmland project, and Gangwon-do is the least. It is expected to contribute to new commercialization and business expansion by deriving business areas by identifying the scale of the farmland multipurpose farmland project using Farm Manger Registration Records and spatial data.

Since last year, the government has enforced the 'Act on the Punishment of Severe Accidents, Etc.' (hereafter referred to as the 'Serious Accident Punishment Act'), which punishes business owners and business managers who fail to fulfill their duty of safety measures with 'imprisonment of one year or more' and the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Based on this, various occupational safety and health policies were developed, including the operation of a system related to entrusting the work of safety managers. Despite these efforts, the effect of implementing the Severe Accident Punishment Act is a groundbreaking change in the current disaster prevention policy, which has increased by 0.02%P and 0.03‱P, respectively, from the previous year to 0.65% of the total accident rate and 1.10‱ of the death rate per 10,000 people as of 2022. As the need emerged, attention was paid to 'collaboration and governance with safety management institutions' in the 'Severe Disaster Reduction Roadmap' announced by the Ministry of Employment and Labor in November 2022. In this study, a meaningful result was derived by comparing and analyzing the industrial accident status of workplaces entrusted by "A" safety management institutions with the national average based on the industrial accident survey table, and the types of industrial accidents that occurred in consigned workplaces were selected as intensive management targets. The policy direction for industrial accident prevention was established. It is necessary to develop safety management work manuals based on the results of this study, expertise, discover best cases of risk assessment and develop guides, and educate and train consigned workers. In addition, it suggests that the government's guidance and supervision are needed to advance the professionalism of safety management entrusted tasks, and that safety management institutions should strengthen their roles and functions for preventing and reducing industrial accidents. However, due to difficulties in disclosing information of specialized safety management institutions, the limitation of the provision, collection, and viewing of research-related data to "A" specialized safety management institutions remains a limitation of the research. It seems likely that more thorough research will be conducted.
Gastric lymphoma comprises 1-6% of all gastric malignant neoplasms and among them 50% is gastric MALT lymphoma. The 60-70% of MALT lymphomas is diagnosed at early, localized diseased state. Gastric MALT lymphoma is assumed that it progress slowly with indolent course. It presents nonspecific symptoms such as epigastric pain, dyspepsia, nausea and vomiting. It is rarely associated with serious complication such as gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation. The definite diagnosis of gastric MALT lymphoma should be made with histopathologically. Wotherspoon score is used to differential diagnosis with Helicobacter pylori associated gastric inflammatory change. Gastric MALT lymphoma is associated with Helicobacter pylori infection with supported by epidemiologic and histopathologic studies. Gastric MALT lymphoma is characterized with genetic aberrations such as trisomy 3, trisomy 18, chromosomal translocations t(11;18), t(1;14), t(14;18), t(3;14). Appropriate clinical staging is essential to determine the optimal treatment strategy for gastric MALT lymphoma. Lugano International Conference classification has been applied widely. Helicobacter pylori eradication is used as the first line treatment for gastric MALT lymphoma independent of the stage. The complete remission has been achieved in 60-90% of the stage I/II1 patients with Helicobacter pylori eradication only. The treatment options for the patients with refractory to eradication are radiotherapy, chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy with the complete remission rate of 75% to 100%. The incidence of gastric MALT lymphoma can be expected to down by virtue of the decrease of Helicobacter pylori infection rate. Further basic and clinical research is necessary to advance in determine the pathogenesis and management.
