의복 구매의사 결정과정에 따른 패션정보원의 영향연구 -여대생을 중심으로- (A Study on the Effect of Fashion Information Sources on Clothing Purchase Decision Process)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of fashion information source in the stage of purchase decision-making and difference by stage of purchase decision-making and difference by stage of the effect extend, and to analyze the difference by fashion information source. For this study, the data were collected through the questionnaire distributed to 337 female students from five universities. The results are as follows: 1) There was significant difference among the effect to fashion information source according to the purchase decision-making stage. At the adoption stage, fashion information source have the most effect on clothing purchase. 2) The effect of Impersonal Source in the purchase decision-making stage was gradually decreased fro the initial (awareness, interest) sage to the late stage. 3) The effect of Personal Source in the purchase decision-making stage was gradually increased from the initial (awareness, interest) stage to the late stage. 4) Addition stage was highly influenced by friend and family that was Personal Independent Source than other fashion information source. However the final selection on clothing purchase was not influenced by friend and family. 5. There was significant difference among the effect of fashion information source according to the grade. Low garde students were highly influenced by Personal Source on clothing purchase, but high grade students were highly influenced by Impersonal Sources on clothing purchase. 6) There was significant difference among the effect of fashion information source according to the major. The students a majored clothing & textile-design were highly influenced by Impersional Source. These results suggest that fashion information source was significantly different according to purchase decision-making stage and was influenced by grade and major of subjects.

ERP 도입 전 구성원의 저항 (A Study on Users' Resistance toward ERP in the Pre-adoption Context)

  • Information Systems (IS) is an essential tool for any organizations. The last decade has seen an increasing body of knowledge on IS usage. Yet, IS often fails because of its misuse or non-use. In general, decisions regarding the selection of a system, which involve the evaluation of many IS vendors and an enormous initial investment, are made not through the consensus of employees but through the top-down decision making by top managers. In situations where the selected system does not satisfy the needs of the employees, the forced use of the selected IS will only result in their resistance to it. Many organizations have been either integrating dispersed legacy systems such as archipelago or adopting a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to enhance employee efficiency. This study examines user resistance prior to the adoption of the selected IS or ERP system. As such, this study identifies the importance of managing organizational resistance that may appear in the pre-adoption context of an integrated IS or ERP system, explores key factors influencing user resistance, and investigates how prior experience with other integrated IS or ERP systems may change the relationship between the affecting factors and user resistance. This study focuses on organizational members' resistance and the affecting factors in the pre-adoption context of an integrated IS or ERP system rather than in the context of an ERP adoption itself or ERP post-adoption. Based on prior literature, this study proposes a research model that considers six key variables, including perceived benefit, system complexity, fitness with existing tasks, attitude toward change, the psychological reactance trait, and perceived IT competence. They are considered as independent variables affecting user resistance toward an integrated IS or ERP system. This study also introduces the concept of prior experience (i.e., whether a user has prior experience with an integrated IS or ERP system) as a moderating variable to examine the impact of perceived benefit and attitude toward change in user resistance. As such, we propose eight hypotheses with respect to the model. For the empirical validation of the hypotheses, we developed relevant instruments for each research variable based on prior literature and surveyed 95 professional researchers and the administrative staff of the Korea Photonics Technology Institute (KOPTI). We examined the organizational characteristics of KOPTI, the reasons behind their adoption of an ERP system, process changes caused by the introduction of the system, and employees' resistance/attitude toward the system at the time of the introduction. The results of the multiple regression analysis suggest that, among the six variables, perceived benefit, complexity, attitude toward change, and the psychological reactance trait significantly influence user resistance. These results further suggest that top management should manage the psychological states of their employees in order to minimize their resistance to the forced IS, even in the new system pre-adoption context. In addition, the moderating variable-prior experience was found to change the strength of the relationship between attitude toward change and system resistance. That is, the effect of attitude toward change in user resistance was significantly stronger in those with prior experience than those with no prior experience. This result implies that those with prior experience should be identified and provided with some type of attitude training or change management programs to minimize their resistance to the adoption of a system. This study contributes to the IS field by providing practical implications for IS practitioners. This study identifies system resistance stimuli of users, focusing on the pre-adoption context in a forced ERP system environment. We have empirically validated the proposed research model by examining several significant factors affecting user resistance against the adoption of an ERP system. In particular, we find a clear and significant role of the moderating variable, prior ERP usage experience, in the relationship between the affecting factors and user resistance. The results of the study suggest the importance of appropriately managing the factors that affect user resistance in organizations that plan to introduce a new ERP system or integrate legacy systems. Moreover, this study offers to practitioners several specific strategies (in particular, the categorization of users by their prior usage experience) for alleviating the resistant behaviors of users in the process of the ERP adoption before a system becomes available to them. Despite the valuable contributions of this study, there are also some limitations which will be discussed in this paper to make the study more complete and consistent.

모바일 애플리케이션 마켓에서 온라인 구전 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influencing Factors of Online Word-of-Mouth Adoption in the Mobile Applications Market)

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 모바일 산업의 화두인 애플리케이션 마켓에서의 구전 수용 과정에 초점을 두고, 구전 커뮤니케이션의 주요 특성이 구전 정보의 신뢰와 구전 수용 과정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 애플리케이션 시장에 대한 이해와 온라인 구전 커뮤니케이션 및 정교화 가능성 모델에 대한 선행연구를 기반으로 온라인 구전 수용의 영향 요인들을 도출하고, 연구가설을 설정하였다. 모바일 애플리케이션 마켓에서 리뷰를 이용해 본 경험이 있는 스마트폰 사용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과, 모바일 애플리케이션 마켓에서 소비자들이 온라인 리뷰를 수용하기 위한 선행 요인으로 리뷰에 대한 신뢰를 제시하였고, 신뢰를 느끼기 위해서 리뷰내용의 품질에 대한 긍정적 평가와 전달되는 설명의 선명함, 의견의 중립성이 필요함을 실증적으로 증명하였다. 본 연구의 이론적 시사점은 구전에 대한 연구들을 바탕으로 다른 온라인 매체에 비해 상대적으로 의사 결정을 위한 판단 단서가 적은 모바일 애플리케이션 마켓이라는 환경에서 구전 신뢰에 영향을 줄 수 있는 변인들을 찾고 이를 개념화한 데 있으며 실무적 관점에서 보면, 온라인 리뷰 수용의 선행 요인들을 살펴보면서 어떠한 속성을 기업이나 개발자들이 전략적으로 활용할 수 있는지 시사점을 제시했다고 할 수 있다.

  • 인터넷뱅킹은 인터넷의 확산과 더불어 금융상품의 유통에 등장한 매우 중요한 혁신이다. 이러한 인터넷뱅킹의 확산현상을 이해하고 개별 고객 특성별 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하기 위하여서는 정보기술의 혁신 수용적 관점에서 인터넷뱅킹의 사용동기의 행동적 측면에 대한 이해를 필요로 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 소비자 행동측면에서 인터넷뱅킹의 확산 현상을 연구함에 목적을 두었다. 첫째로 IT관련 혁신의 수용현상에 관한 분석에 널리 적용되어 온 기술 혁신수용이론(Technology Acceptance Model; 이하 "TAM" )을 기반으로 은행고객의 인터넷뱅킹 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악하고자 하였다. 분석 결과 사용용이성, 유용성 및 홍보성은 인터넷뱅킹의 수용에 영향을 미치는 주요요인인 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째로 인터넷경제 시대의 고객세분화 모델로 부각되고 있는 테크노그래픽스(Technographics) 세분화 방법을 적용하여 인터넷뱅킹의 이용고객들을 분류하고, 분류된 고객집단별로 TAM을 적용하여 각 고객그룹별로 인터넷뱅킹 이용에 미치는 영향요인들의 차이의 여부를 파악하고자 하였다. 분석결과 TAM이론과 테크노그래픽스 세분화방법이 국내 소비자들의 인터넷뱅킹 이용행동을 분석하고 차별화 전략을 시도하는데 유용하게 쓰일 수 있음이 실증적으로 확인되었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze potential adoption rates and reusing patterns of the new rice direct seeding technology. The model constructed and employed in this study is a system dynamics model of farmer adoption and reusing patterns for this new technology over time. The model incorporates a causal loop diagram that explains interactions among rice cultivation subsystems with feedback loops and further attempts to build a causal loop model with stock-flow diagram for computer simulation. As one example of how the model can be used to provide insight to rice farmers, simulations are run over varying levels on the cultivation process of rice. The major finding is to demonstrate the utility of system dynamics simulation methodology in aiding the rice wet direct seeding farmers' decision making.

시스템의 도입과 전유 과정에 영향을 미치는 제도적 압력에 관한 연구: 병원조직의 모바일 전자의무기록 시스템을 대상으로 (A Study on the Effects of the Institutional Pressure on the Process of Implementation and Appropriation of System: M-EMRS in Hospital Organization)

  • Increasingly the institutional theory has been an important theoretical view of decision making process and IT adoption in many academic researches. This study used the institutional theory as a lens through which we can understand the factors that enable the effective appropriation of advanced information technology. It posits that mimetic, coercive, and normative pressures existing in an institutionalized environment could influence the participation of top managers or decision makers and the involvement of users toward an effective use of IT in their tasks. Since the introduction of IT, organizational members have been using IT in their daily tasks, creating and recreating rules and resources according to their own methods and needs. That is to say, the adaptation process of the IT and outcomes are different among organizations. The previous studies on a diverse use of IT refer to the appropriation of technology from the social technology view. Users appropriate IT through not only technology itself, but also in terms of how they use it or how they make the social practice in their use of it. In this study, the concepts of institutional pressure, appropriation, participation of decision makers, and involvement of users toward the appropriation are explored in the context of the appropriation of the mobile electronic medical record system (M-EMRS) in particularly a hospital setting. Based on the conceptual definition of institutional pressure, participation and involvement, operational measures are reconstructed. Furthermore, the concept of appropriation is measured in the aspect of three sub-constructs-consensus on appropriation, faithful appropriation, and attitude of use. Grounded in the relevant theories to appropriation of IT, we developed a research framework in which the effects of institutional pressure, participation and involvement on the appropriation of IT are analyzed. Within this theoretical framework, we formulated several hypotheses. We developed a second order institutional pressure and appropriation construct. After establishing its validity and reliability, we tested the hypotheses with empirical data from 101 users in 3 hospitals which had adopted and used the M-EMRS. We examined the mediating effect of the participation of decision makers and the involvement of users on the appropriation and empirically validated their relationships. The results show that the mimetic, coercive, and normative institutional pressure has an effect on the participation of decision makers and the involvement of users in the appropriation of IT while the participation of decision makers and the involvement of users have an effect on the appropriation of IT. The results also suggest that the institutional pressure and the participation of decision makers influence the involvement of users toward an appropriation of IT. Our results emphasize the mediating effect of the institutional pressure on the appropriation of IT. Namely, the higher degree of the participation of decision makers and the involvement of users, the more effective appropriation users will represent. These results provide strong support for institutional-based variables as predictors of appropriation. These findings also indicate that organizations should focus on the role of participation of decision makers and the involvement of users for the purpose of effective appropriation, and these are the practical implications of our study. The theoretical contribution of this study is lies in the integrated model of the effect of institutional pressure on the appropriation of IT. The results are consistent with the institutional theory and support previous studies on adaptive structuration theory.

Deciding to Update Mobile Applications: Reasons and Consequences of Inertia

  • While most of studies have paid attention to the initial adoption of a specific application, research on applications has not focused on an individual's update decision process. This study draws upon both dual information processing and status quo bias perspectives as a comprehensive theoretical lens to explain why individuals do not update their applications. This study assumes that individuals' inertia could be the main reason for their reluctance to update the applications. Based on a survey of 186 smartphone users, this study demonstrated that both habit as an affective trigger of system 1 thinking and sunk cost as a cognitive trigger of system 2 thinking promoted the two types of inertia (i.e., affective and cognitive based inertia) in individuals, which have a negative effect on their willingness to update their applications. By grounding the research model in a theoretical view, such as dual information processing and status quo bias, this study provides a unique theoretical lens from which to view individuals' behaviors, thereby gaining a better understanding of their decision not to update to the current version of applications. This study also investigates the moderating effect of the types of applications on the relationships between affective/cognitive-based inertia and willingness to update. Results show that both habit and sunk cost decrease the willingness to update because they increase both affective and cognitive-based inertia. This study also found that the effects of affective/cognitive based inertia differed depending on the type of applications.

  • 경영, 설계, 제조, 판매를 총체적으로 결합하는 생산 시스템인 컴퓨터 통합생산시스템 CIM(Computer Integrated Manufacturing System)의 개발이 이루어졌다 CIM에서는 경영 설계, 제조, 판매 등을 컴퓨터를 통하여 유기적으로 연결함으로써 빠른 시장변화에 따른 대응을 시도하고 있다 각 시스템간의 정보전달과 실제작업의 지시 및 동작은 정보네트워크에 의해 순간적으로 이루어지며 각 서브시스템에서 공유화되고 정확성, 신속성이 발휘되어 원가절감이나 품질향상, 납기준수 등에 기여하여야 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 CIM의 구축입안, 설계, 도입, 운용, 갱신 등의 어느 단계에 있어서도 적절한 평가를 행하는 것이다.

중소기업 ESG 경영 도입의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 : 태도의 매개효과 및 종업원 혁신저항성의 조절효과 (A Study on Factors Affecting ESG Management Intentions of Small and Medium Enterprises : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Attitude and the Moderating Effect of Employees' Innovation Resistance)

  • 본 연구는 최근 화두가 되고 있는 중소기업의 ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 경영 도입 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 실증적으로 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 독립변수로 ESG의 유용성과 용이성을 일차적으로 도출하였다. 또한 중소기업에서 의사결정은 CEO의 결정이 매우 절대적이고 필수적이므로 CEO 의지를 도출하였다. 그리고, ESG 경영의 제도적 요인으로 ESG 경영에 관한 고객사의 요구, 정부 지원, 신용평가 반영 등이 중요한 결정 요인으로 판단되어 이를 독립변수로 채택하였다. 이러한 영향 관계에서 태도의 매개효과와 종업원 혁신 저항성의 조절효과도 동시에 분석 하였다. 이를 위해 유효한 368개의 표본을 SPSS 24.0을 활용하여 분석하였다. 매개효과와 조절 효과는 Process Macro 4.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 실증분석 결과는 다음과 같다. ESG 도입의 유용성과 용이성, CEO 의지, 고객사 요구, 정부지원, 신용평가 반영 모두 ESG 경영 도입의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 특히 CEO의 의지가 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 ESG 경영 도입에 미치는 영향 요인과 도입의도와의 관계에서 태도가 매개역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었고, 종업원 혁신저항성의 조절 효과도 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 학술적 시사점은 중소기업 ESG와 관련해서 선행연구가 부족한 상황 속에서 ESG 경영 도입 관련 각각의 영향 변수를 도출하고 실증적으로 검정했다는 것이다. 또한 이러한 요인들이 도입의도에 미치는 영향력의 우선순위를 밝혀 ESG 경영 도입 촉진을 방안을 도출했다는 점이다. 실무적 시사점으로는 중소기업의 성공적인 ESG 도입을 위해서는 무엇보다 CEO의 인식개선과 정부지원, 대기업과의 상생 관계가 중요하다는 점이다. 원활한 ESG 경영 도입을 위하여 조직 구성원들과 충분한 소통을 통하여 필요성을 인식하게 함으로써 저항감을 낮출 방안을 모색해야 할 필요도 있었다.

4차 산업혁명시대 인공지능 정책의사결정에 대한 탐색적 논의 (A Preliminary Discussion on Policy Decision Making of AI in The Fourth Industrial Revolution)

  • 4차 산업혁명시대에 지능정보기술의 발전에 따라 인공지능의 다양한 역할이 주목을 받고 있다. 구글의 알파고를 계기로 인공지능은 더 이상 공상의 기술이 아닌 실존하는 기술이라는 점에서 사회전역에 파급효과를 가져올 것으로 예상되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 공공부문에서 인공지능을 활용한 정책결정의 가능성과 쟁점에 대한 탐색적 논의를 진행하였다. 이에 따른 연구목적은 세 가지 측면으로 구분되며, 첫째, 공공부문에서 인공지능이 정책결정까지 이어질 수 있는지에 대한 검토이다. 둘째, 인공지능의 정책결정과정이 기존 정책결정과의 어떠한 차이를 가지는가이다. 셋째, 인공지능이 정책결정에 도입될 경우에 나오게 될 쟁점을 다루었다. 이러한 인공지능에 의한 정책결정이 기존의 정채결정과 구별되는 점은 많은 정보와 대안에 기반한 합리적 의사결정, 투명성 및 신뢰성의 제고, 정책이슈에 대한 객관적인 시각, 신속한 의사결정 등이다. 하지만 인공지능의 정책의사결정시 야기되는 쟁점 역시 존재 한다. 첫째는 인공지능의 우월성, 둘째 윤리성 논란, 셋째 책임성, 넷째 기존 민주주의의 변화, 다섯째 공공부문 인력의 대체 논쟁, 여섯째 인공지능에 필요한 데이터 활용의 문제점 등이다. 공공부문 정책의사결정에서 인공지능의 도입은 향후 실현될 것이기 때문에, 사회적 충격을 최소화하기 위해 그에 따른 순기능과 역기능에 대한 융합적인 접근이 필요하다.
