  • It might be considered as difficult process to apply current researching technology to the fields of agriculture. Before the 80's, distributing brochures and pamphlet and direct visits to farmers were the only means used for research. But as society evolved, so did the methods. Media began to its place in the process. This study's main objective was to identify how farmers solve the problem on farming itself and also on how they improve customer-satisfaction. The Service Consultation Center of Rural Development Administration totaled up 19,666 cases of farmers's inquiries on 2010 by internet surveys, phone-calls and by post. Customer satisfaction scored highest on horticulture (39.5%), being followed by rice(23.2%) and other crops.

  • Citrus scab disease is one of the destructive diseases that reduce the value of fruit for the fresh market. We analyzed the process of symptom development after infection with scab pathogen $Elsino{\ddot{e}}$ fawcettii in the susceptible satsuma mandarin leaves to observe the structural modification against pathogen. The cuticle and epidermal cells along with 3-5 layers of mesophyll tissue were degraded 1-2 days post inoculation. Surrounding peripheral cells of degraded tissues grew rapidly and then enveloped the necrotic area along with the growing conidia. Cross sections through the lesion revealed hyphal colonization in epidermis and mesophyll tissues. In response to the pathogen colonization, host cell walls were lignified, inner cells were rapidly compartmentalized and a semi-circular boundary was formed that separated the infected region from the non-infected region, and finally prevented the intercellular pathogen spread.

  • Cosmetics have mild activity on the human body, and intended to be used for cleaning, beautifying the human body, and also keeping healthy skin or hair, promoting attractiveness or altering the appearance. Functional cosmetics, in other words cosmeceuticals, are restricted for following functions: 1) Whiten the skin tone by preventing deposition of melanin pigmentation or lightening of the color of melanin of skin, 2) alleviate or improve wrinkles of the skin, and 3) protect the skin from the ultra violet rays from the sun. According to the functions of the functional cosmetics, skin whitening products, anti-wrinkle products, and suntan & sunscreen products are manufactured. In order to manufacture and import the functional cosmetics in Korea, the approval process in KFDA is necessary. The review process in KFDA is performed based on The Korea Food and Drug Administration Notification 2007-44, "The Regulation of Reviewing the Functional Cosmetics" (June 29, 2007). Only after the approval of KFDA, functional cosmetics are allowed to advertise to the consumers for their functionality.

  • Clostridium botulinum spores are widely distributed in nature. Type A and proteolytic type B bacteria produce heat-resistant spores that are primarily involved in most of the food-borne botulism outbreaks associated with low-acid canned foods. Food-borne botulism results from the consumption of food in which C. botulinum has grown and produced neurotoxin. Growth and toxin production of type A and proteolytic type B in canned foods can be prevented by the use of thermal sterilization alone or in combination with salt and nitrite. The hazardousness of C. botulinum in low-acid canned foods can also be reduced by preventing post-process contamination and introducing hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) practices during production. Effectiveness of non-thermal technologies such as high pressure processing with elevated process temperatures on inactivation of spores of C. botulinum will be discussed.

This phenomenon has many negative manifestations and consequences, undermines the national security of the state, slows down the development of democracy, worsens the state of all spheres of life (economic, political, administrative, etc.), worsens relations with foreign partners, forms tolerance for corruption in the public consciousness. Today, the process of fighting corruption is extremely important for our country, because it depends on the independence, democracy, sustainability of Ukraine. However, there is a complex and ambiguous situation regarding this process, as there is a clear coordination of state policy in the fight against corruption, insufficient and narrow understanding of ways to combat it. There is a lack of efforts by the authorities to overcome corruption challenges and use ineffective means of combating them. Instead, corruption causes great material and moral damage to states as a whole and many of its citizens.

  • This study introduces research on the quality of medical services, optimization of medical services, dental medical services, implant medical services, and time schedules, as well as the effective process of dental implant medical services, which is expensive and requires a long treatment period. For improvement, it is suggested to evaluate using a time schedule. In this method, a time schedule is prepared in which each step, starting from the patients appointment until the completion of the treatment process, is allotted a certain time. This schedule was finalized in consultation with the employees. When performing all implant operations, the starting time of each item was checked to evaluate the degree of compliance and to understand any reasons for delay in each step. After identifying the causes for delay at each step, suitable steps to rectify the drawbacks were developed, and an optimal plan for patient management was determined. Changes in waiting time and human resource utilization were shown as concrete data, suggesting that such a schedule is meaningful as a decision-making support tool.

  • This study investigates the influence of consumer needs pertaining to brand social media pages on the consumer brand attachment formation process. We collected 278 valid responses from females who have experienced the food brands' social media pages. Following the data analysis, we developed the results as follows. First, we examined the significant influence of attachment to brand social media page needs and socialization needs on consumer content consumption engagement and content contribution engagement on brand social media pages. Then we determined that consumer engagement significantly influenced consumer brand attachment. Finally, we found consumer consumption engagement exerted a significant mediation effect on the relationship between consumer needs and brand attachment. Based on the results, we outlined the potential theoretical and marketing strategy implications of this research.

  • For the sustainable use of fishery resources as common resources and the mitigation of conflicts with commercial fishermen, it is essential to understand recreational anglers' participation process of environmentally responsible behaviors (ERB). This study intends to show that the effects of recreation specialization on environmentally responsible behaviors can be weakened due to the characteristics of anglers, who prefer to possess caught fish. Two different research models were tested with two data sets independently collected. The data were analyzed with structural equation modeling. The results show that consumptive orientation, which measures a degree of catching and owning fish, and fishing-specific ERBs negatively affect the relationships between recreation specialization and general ERBs as mediation variables. Implications are further discussed that regulation policies and education programs are needed to change anglers' consumptive orientation and catch-related fishing behaviors.
