Development of Methods to lmprove the Reliability of ELECTRE (복합기준 평가방법 ELECTRE의 신뢰도 증진을 위한 방안 연구)

  • ELEECTRE is a less demanding and potentially Bffective multiattribute evaluation method for pre-editing proeedure. The method, however, was developed based on probabilistic mathematicsand its reliability has never'been emprieally tested. This article examined the reliability of ELECTRo under various conditions of linear and non-linear utility func- tions using a Monte-Carlo shnulation, and found the method eausea a considerably high rate of error. To enhance the reliability of ELECTRE, two ways of modi(ication - adjust- ment of threshold values of concordance and discordance matrices, and adjustment of the required nunlber of probably-dominant alternatives to eliminate a probably-dominated alternative - were suggested, and their effctiveness was also tesed by a Monte-Carlo simulation. The simulation result chows that these modifications cponsiderably improve the reliability of ELECTRE, and yet maintain a reasonably high level of efficiency. Through these modifications, ELECTRE can be used as an efficient and feliable pre-editing method. Ways to implement ELECTRE in the construction of plainning decision support systens were discussed. The impli(els combination of this method and other multiattribute evaluation methods will help to create more effective decision suport systems.

  • In this paper, we deal with a quadratic stabilization by $H^{\infty}$ output feedback controllers with adjustable parameters. The designed controller contains a contractive time-varying gain which can be used to adjust the responses of the resulting closed-loop system. The free parameter expressed as time-varying gain is chosen so that a Lyapunov function of the closed-loop system descends as fast as possible. A numerical example is given to show the validity of proposed method..

  • The author devised a simple technique for duplicating occlusal contour of natural teeth on the prepared abutments using hard stone index obtained from the study cast of natural teeth. Throughout this author devised method, the following advantages are studied. Firstly the dentist can obtain an ideal occlusal wax patterns which have arrived at the physiologic state through a long period of adjustment to various habits and functional movements. Secondly the construction procedure is simple, and thirdly it is easy to adjust wax pattern of nomal natural teeth which duplication is required.

A Fast Algorithm for Real-time Adaptive Notch Filtering

  • A new algorithm is presented for adaptive notch filtering of narrow band or sine signals for embedded among broad band noise. The notch filter is implemented as a constrained infinite impulse response filter with a minimal number of parameters, Based on the recursive prediction error (RPE) method, the algorithm has the advantages of the fast convergence, accurate results and initial estimate of filter coefficient and its covariance is revealed. A convergence criterion is also developed. By using the information of the noise-to-signal power, the algorithm can self-adjust its initial filter coefficient estimate and its covariance to ensure convergence.

  • This paper describes a simulation model to analyze the dynamic performance of Unified Power Flow Controller, which adjust flexibly the active and reactive power flow through the ac transmission line. The basic operation was analyzed in detail using equivalent circuits and the design of control system was developed using vector control method. A simulation model with EMTP code was conceived to evaluate the performance of the Unified power Flow Controller. The simulation results show that the developed simulation model is very effective to analyze the dynamic performance of the Unified Power Flow Controller.

  • In this paper a robust controller using adaptive backstepping technique is proposed to control the speed of wind power generation system. To make wind power generation truly cost effective and reliable, advanced and robust control algorithms are derived to on-line adjust the excitation winding voltage of the generator based on both mechanical and electrical dynamics. This method is shown to be able to achieve smooth and asymptotic rotor speed tracking, as justified by analysis and computer simulation.

  • In this paper, proposed a multi-channel charging control strategy for electric vehicle. This control strategy can adjust the charging power according to the calculated state-of-charge (SOC). Electric vehicle (EV) charging system using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed. A stochastic optimization algorithm technique such as PSO in the time-of-use (TOU) price used for the energy cost minimization. Simulation results show that the energy cost can be reduced using proposed method.

  • Recently, X-ray chest radiograph is showing a tendency to take an image of digital radiograph so as to diagnose the pathological pattern of chest in a usual. When the radiologist observes the chest image derived from digital radiograph system on the monitor. he feels difficult to find out because of the sensitivity of chest radiograph. It takes amount of time to adjust the proper image for diagnosis. Therefore, we provided the result and the method of the optimal image equalization for image enhancement.

  • In this paper, the adaptive neural network technique is proposed to control the speed of wind power generation system. For maximizing generated power effectively, adaptive neural algorithm based on SRWMM(Self Recurrent Wavelet Neural Network) is derived to on-line adjust the excitation winding voltage of the generator. Through computer simulations, it is shown that the proposed method can achieve smooth and asymptotic rotor speed tracking.

  • This paper describes a simulation model and a scaled hardware model to analyze the dynamic performance of Unified Power Flow Controller, which can flexibly adjust the active and reactive power flow through the ac transmission line. The design of control system was developed using vector control method. The results of simulation and scaled hardware test show that the developed control system works accurately. And both models are very effective to analyze the dynamic performance of the Unified Power Flow Controller.
