A Study on the Emotional Evaluation Model of Color Pattern Based on Adaptive Fuzzy System (적응 퍼지 시스템을 이용한 칼라패턴 감성 평가 모델에 관한 연구)

  • In the paper. we propose an evaluation model based the adaptive fuzzy systems, which can transform the physical features of a color pattern to the emotional features. The model is motivated by the Soen's psychological experiments, in which he found the physical features such as average hue, saturation, intensity and the dynamic components of the color patterns affects to the emotional features represented by a pair of adjective words having the opposite meanings. Our proposed model consists of two adaptive fuzzy rule-bases and the y-model, a l i r ~ r ys et operator, to fuze the evaluation values produced by them. The model shows con~parablep erformances to the neural network for the approximation of the nonlinear transforms, and it has the advantage to obtain the linbwistic interpretation from the trained results. We believe the evaluated results of a color pattern can be used to the emotion-based color image retrievals.

A Study on Driver's Perception over the Change of the Headlamp's Illuminance : 3. Driver's psychological property (전조등 조도변동에 대한 운전자의 인식연구 : 3. 운전자의 심리적 특성)

  • In this study, psychological assessment was carried out to investigate the driver's psychological characteristics by the change of the headlight. The participants were 20 men and 20 women in their 20s and thirty-two different conditions in combinations of waveform of light, voltage, and alteration time were used. The questionnaire for the assessment was evaluated by 8 subjective items and 5-point SD criteria of 19 pair's adjective. The results were as follows. 1. The assessment results from SD method indicated 3 factors by factor analysis, and it was shown that A waveform had significances in a sense of security and impetus and B waveform had a significance in a sense of security The levels of the limitations for the voltage change were 12V in the factor of a sense of security and 11V in the factor of a sense of impetus for A waveform, 12.6V in the factor of a sense of security for B waveform. 2. The results of the subjective assessment showed that the limitation of A waveform's brightness change was 12V. Moreover, the limitations of voltage changes were 12.6V for B waveform brightness change, 12V for discomfort, 12.6V for darkness. And the limitation of C waveform's brightness change was 12V.

  • This study is about the development of AI algorithm education program using cognition modeling to positively improve students' image on AI. First, we analyzed the concept of user-based collaborative filtering and developed the education program using the cognition modeling method. We checked the adequacy of program through the expert validity test. Both CVR values for the content development method of cognitive modeling and the developed program showed validity above .80. We applied the developed program to elementary school students in class. The test was conducted using a semantic discrimination to examine changes in students' perception of artificial intelligence before and after. We were able to confirm that the students' AI images were significant positive change in 12 of the 23 words in the adjective pair.

  • According as the quality of life is improved along with economic growth, in the road plan and design sector also, it is now progressed that function oriented design is changed into the landscape oriented design that considers eyesight and emotion, which are psychological properties of users. Accordingly this study tries to come up with reasonable and objective methods to extract various emotional adjectives, which were found by the survey, while minimizing difference among characteristics of emotion and cognition of individuals. First, given semantic differential, based on various emotional adjectives that were found through the survey with the scale up to five points, the author extracted representative emotional adjectives through an element analysis, which is a conventional method of the previous research, and through an identification analysis which is suggested by this study, and then established model I of Quantification. And by using the established quantification model, the author presumed satisfaction degree, and through verifying pair wise comparison with actual satisfaction degree, the author found the results from identification and correlation analysis methods are most similar to actual satisfaction degree. As a result, the author could check the above emotional and correlation analyses were appropriate methods for comprehending which emotional elements are applicable when a continuous road landscape is designed by identification and correlation analyses.
