알루미나/Ag-Cu-Zr-Sn 브레이징 합금계면의 미세조직 (Evolution of Interfacial Microstructure in Alumina and Ag-Cu-Zr-Sn Brazing Alloy)

  • The active metal brazing was applied to bond Alumina and Ni-Cr steel by Ag-Cu-Zr-Sn alloy and the interfacial microstructure and reaction mechanism were investigated. Polycrystalline monoclinic $ZrO_2$ with a very fine grain of 100-150 nm formed at the alumina grain boundary contacted with Zr segregation layer at the interface. The $ZrO_2$ layer containing the inclusions and cracks were developed at the boundary of inclusion/$ZrO_2$ due to the difference in specific volume. The development of $ZrO_2$ at the interface was successfully explained by the preferential penetration of $ZrO_2$ at the interface was successfully explained by the preferential penetration of Zr atoms a higher concentration of oxygen and a high diffusion rate of Al ions into molten brazing alloy.

  • The effect of hydrogen in the alumina gate insulator on the bottom gate oxide thin film transistor (TFT) with an InGaZnO film as the active layer was investigated. TFT with more H-containing alumina films (TFT A) fabricated via atomic layer deposition using a water precursor showed higher stability under positive and negative bias stresses than that with less H-containing alumina deposited using ozone (TFT B). While TFT A was affected by the pre-vacuum annealing of GI, which resulted in $V_{th}$ instability under NBS, TFT B did not show a difference after the pre-vacuum annealing of GI. All the TFTs showed negative-bias-enhanced photo instability.

  • The photovoltaic properties of CIES cells on alumina substrate were improved by using the Na-doped Mo as theabotom layer of hilo back contact. Na was supplied to the CIGS bulk region from alumina/Na-doped Mo/Mo/alumina? structure, as same assimilar to the Na diffusion from soda-lime glass. The content diffusion of Na from Na-doped bfo was smaller more controlled than that from SLG. These Our results indicate that Na-doped bfo act as Na source material and contents of Na amount can be controlled without the use of an alkali barrier layer. The best CIGS solar cell with conversion efficiency of 13.34%, $J_{sc}=34.62mA/cm^2,\;V_{oc}=0.58V$ and FF=66% for an active area of $0.45cm^2$ on the alumina substrate was obtained in the condition of for 100nm Na-doped Mo/1000nm Mo.

산처리한 γ-알루미나의 표면 산량과 표면 전하밀도 (A Study on the Surface Acid Amount and Surface Charge Density of Acid Treated γ-Alumina)

  • 본 연구는 낮은 활성으로 활용성이 제한된 ${\gamma$-알루미나의 이용을 높이기 위하여 표면을 처리한 알루미나의 계면전기적 특성과 표면활성간의 상관성을 규명하기 위하여 수행되었다. 질산알루미늄을 출발 물질로 하고 암모니아수를 침전제로 사용하여 제조한 알루미나와 황산, 질산, 염산으로 표면 처리한 알루미나를 질량이동법과 site-binding theory를 이용하여 영점전하점을 측정하였다. Amine Titration법과 Hammett 지시약법으로 표면활성점을 구하였다. 전해질에 분산된 알루미나의 계면특성은 전위차적정방법에 의하여 측정된 표면 전하밀도값을 이용하여 분석하였다. 표면전하밀도와 산량의 결과를 이용하여 얻은 ${\gamma$-알루미나의 표면특성과 계면전기적 특성의 상관성은 다음과 같다. 표면을 처리하지 않은 알루미나는 $H_o{\leq}+9.3$인 조건에서 소성온도가 증가함에 따라 산도는 감소한다. 표면처리한 알루미나는 표면을 처리하는 데 사용한 음이온의 농도가 증가하면 표면 이온화상수와 영점전하점은 감소한다. 표면을 처리한 알루미나의 표면전하밀도와 산량은 $H_o{\leq}+4.8$인 조건에서 다음과 같은 상관관계를 갖는다. $SO_4^2-/Al_2O_3:Q_A=-0.172ln(0.0418{\sigma}+1.448)$ $NO_3^-/Al_2O_3:Q_A=-0.024{\sigma}-0.0189$ $Cl^-/Al_2O_3:Q_A=-0.01{\sigma}-0.2006$.

Ru/Al2O3/메탈폼 촉매를 이용한 친환경 액체추진제 분해 (Decomposition of Eco-friendly Liquid Propellants over Ruthenium/Al2O3/metal foam Catalysts)

  • Hydroxylammonium nitrate (HAN) 기반 액상 추진제는 발암물질이 아니며 연소가스 또한 독성이 거의 없어서 환경 친화적인 추진제로 주목을 받고 있다. 추력기에서 HAN 기반 액체추진제를 분해하는데 사용되는 촉매는 저온 활성 및 고내열성을 동시에 보유하고 있어야 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 metal foam 표면에 alumina slurry를 wash coating 방법으로 담지한 후, 루테늄(ruthenium) 전구체를 그 위에 담지하여 Ru/alumina/metal foam 촉매를 제조하고, 이 촉매의 HAN 수용액 분해 활성을 평가하는 것이다. Wash coating 방법으로 metal foam 지지체에 알루미나를 담지시키는 과정에서 wash coating 반복 횟수가 alumina/metal foam의 물리적 특성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 알루미나 wash coating 횟수가 증가할수록 약 7 nm의 직경을 갖는 메조기공이 지속적으로 발달하여 표면적과 기공 부피가 증가하는데, metal foam에 알루미나를 코팅하는 과정을 12 회 반복하는 것이 최적이라고 판단하였다. 이 지지체에 Ru을 담지한 Ru/alumina/metal foam 촉매의 표면에도 메조기공이 잘 발달하였다. 활성금속과 알루미나를 담지하지 않은 metal foam 자체만으로도 HAN 수용액의 분해반응을 촉진할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. Ru/alumina/metal foam-550촉매의 경우는 열분해 반응에 비해서 분해개시온도를 큰 폭으로 낮추었고, ${\Delta}P$를 크게 증가시킬 수 있어서, HAN 수용액 분해 반응에서 우수한 활성을 보였다. 그러나 이 촉매를 $1,200^{\circ}C$에서 소성하면 반응 활성이 저하되는데 이는 촉매의 표면적과 기공 부피가 급격하게 감소하고 Ru이 소결되기 때문이다. 추가적인 연구를 통해서 Ru/alumina/metal foam의 내열성을 개선할 필요성이 있다.

  • Metal oxides have been proposed as an alternative channel material to hydrogenated amorphous silicon in thin film transistors (TFTs) because their higher mobility and stability make them suitable for transistor active layers. Thin films of indium zinc oxide (IZO) were deposited using a High Target Utilization Sputtering (HiTUS) system on various dielectrics, some of which were also deposited with the HiTUS. Investigations into bottom-gated IZO TFTs have found mobilities of 8 $cm^2V\;^1s^{-1}$ and switching ratios of $10^6$. There is a variation in the threshold voltage dependent on both oxygen concentration, and dielectric choice. Silica, alumina and silicon nitride produced stable TFTs, whilst hafnia was found to break down as a result of the IZO.

우무가사리(Gelidium amansii)의 구충성분에 대하여(제 1 보) (Studies on the Anthelmintic constituents of Gelidium amansii.)

  • Clinical tests revealed that the extracts of Gelidium amansii (Gelidiaceae) had a anthelmintic action and further examinations were made on the anthelmintic components of this seaweed. This anthelmintic principle is absorbed on alumina and eluted from it by alkali solution. The active principle is absorbed on activated carbon from aqueous extract and eluted from it by methanol and it is not adsorbed on Amberite IR-120(H-form). This anthelmintic effective fraction was prepared by the use of this properties. Action of the active principle of Gelidium amansii was examined pharmacologically. The active principle of Gelidium amansii was found to decrease the tensity, tonus and mobility of Eisenia foetida(Savigny) nerve muscles. The active principle of this effective fraction was submitted to paper chromatography and spots to ninhydrin were detected at Rf; 0.30-0.31(yellow), 0.26(violet), 0.2(violet), 0.14-0.13(violet), 0.9(orange) and 0.04(violet).

Monolith에 담지한 귀금속촉매상에서 CO와 $C_3H_6$의 동시적 산화반응에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Oxidation of CO and $C_3H_6$ over Noble Metal Supported Catalysts on Monolith)

  • Simultaneous CO and $C_3H_6$ oxidation was carried out over noble metal supported monolith catalysts in a flow thorugh type reactor at the temperature ranging from room temperature to $500^\circ$C. Pt and Pd were selected as major active species, 10wt% of Ce was impregnated as an additive and alumina and silica were used as supports. The reactant gases were simulated and the reaction products were analyzed by on-line G.C.. EDX, SEM, TGA, XRD and optical microscope were used to analyze the characteristics of the prepared catalysts. Under the given conditions in this study, the catalysts supported on alumina showed better activity for CO oxidation, while Pd catalysts showed better activity for $C_3H_6$ oxidation. The improvement of conversion due to increase in thermal stability possibily by Ce addition was observed only for Pt catalysts.

  • Aluminium Oxide was deposited with a C.V.D.-technique on various substrates. The effects of various treating condition such as temperature, time, heat resistance and composition of substrates were investigated in order to understand the relationship of structure, property and process. Grain size depends upon the activity of adsorption siite and coarsened with increasing temperature and time. Deposition rate decreases in order of electrolytic iron, carbon steel STS430 and STS304, since the active site for adsorption of reactant was more decreased for Cr and Ni than Fe. Oxidation resistance of alumina coated specimens improved markedely and that of stainless steel was prominent.

A Synthesis of Optically Active cis and trans 2-(5-Hydroxypoperidin-2-yl)acetates

  • A simple and reproducible pretreatment method was developed for the determination of dioxins in milk sample. Liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) was used for the initial extraction of the analyte from milk. For the elimination of interferences coextracted from milk, acid treatment followed by multilayer silica gel, and then alumina column clean-up were performed. The clean extract could be obtained without carbon column or high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) clean-up procedure. Polychlorinated biphenyles (PCBs) and dioxins were separated on neutral alumina activated at 180 ℃ for 12 hours. The final extract was analyzed by HPLC and high resolution gas chromatography/high resolution mass spectrometry (HRGC/HRMS). The recovery of dioxins spiked in milk at 75-300 ppt level was 83.3-98.9% and their relative standard deviation was 4.1-14%.
