  • This paper proposes a product data model that can express and enforce integrity constraints on product structure during engineering changes (ECs). The model adopts and extends an active object-oriented database model in order to Integrate IC data and their integrity constraints. Tightly integrated with product structure, It will enable designers to maintain and exchange consistent EC data throughout the product life cycle. In order to properly support operations for ECs, the model provides the data, operations, and Event-Condition-Action rules for nested ECs and simultaneous EC applications to multiple options. in addition, the EC objects proposed In the model integrate the data and Integrity constraints into a unified repository. This repository enables designers to access all EC data and integrity constraints through the product structure and relationships between EC objects. This paper also describes a prototype product data management system based on the proposed model In order to demonstrate its effectiveness.

  • The research into the conditions of the active rules is a very important element in the enhancing of the performance of the active database, and the processing time of the calculation generated from the conditions must be minimized in order to improve performance. In this paper, we propose the conditions processing system with the preprocessor which determines the delta tree structure and constructs the classification tree. Due to the characteristics of the active database through which the active rules can be comprehended beforehand. the preprocessor can be introduced. In this paper, the delta tree and classification tree which can effectively Process the join and selection operations instead of the delta relation is proposed. enhancing the condition evaluation performance.

  • The web is an important source of information and most of Web applications are based on form documents in HTML-based form documents only play a role as user interfaces, and they do not involve the procedures or rules if business process which form document designers assume. However, from documents imply methods for treating documents, and these embedded procedural knowledge can be utilized.actively in automation of business process. In this respect, we Investigate the activeness of documents with cognitive science to automate business processes based on from documents. Through this, we have a new concept and applicability of active documents. Our active documents include business rules and declarative knowledge to support the automation of document processing. Also, we propose a processing framework for the active documents. The framework has two phases: build-time and run-time. in order to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed framework, a prototype called ActiveForm is designed and implemented for requisition processing them in an inference engine can enhance the intelligence of Internet applications.

  • This paper describes a active audition system for robot-human interface in real environment. We propose a strategy for a robust sound localization and for -talking speech recognition(60-300cm) based on 2-dimensional microphone array. We consider spatial features, the relation of position and interaural time differences, and realize speaker tracking system using fuzzy inference profess based on inference rules generated by its spatial features.

  • This paper shows one and two dimensional active linear modeling of cochlear biomechanics using Hspice. The advantage of the Hspice modeling is that the cochlear biomechanics may be implemented into an analog Ie chip. This paper explains in detail how to transform the physical cochlear biomechanics to the electrical circuit model and how to represent the circuit in Hspice code. There are some circuit design rules to make the Hspice code to be executed properly.

  • Despite the fast growth and rising importance of digital trade, there still exists no multilateral agreement governing digital trade. Significant differences in policy directions regarding key digital trade issues among the U.S., EU and China are the main stumbling blocks for reaching agreement on the multilateral front. To overcome this deficiency in digital trade rules, there has been active movement among mainly countries in the Asia-Pacific region for rule-making on digital trade. Starting with the CPTPP chapter on E-Commerce in 2018, there has been a series of digital trade rules agreed in bilateral or plurilateral formats, such as the USMCA, USJDTA, DEPA, DEA and RCEP. Korea is currently only member of RCEP, which contains an e-commerce chapter with lower levels of commitment as compared to other digital trade agreements. This paper provides a broad analysis of the recently concluded digital trade agreements, comparing the different coverage of rules, levels of commitment, and rules templates. The analysis aims to provide implications for the desirable direction of rule-making on digital trade and Korea's digital trade strategy.

  • This study examines group process patterns when Instant Messaging is used for decision-making, and examines how these patterns are associated with creative solutions to problems. Our research suggests that certain communication behavior of a group, when appropriately organized, can enhance creative production of outcomes. A qualitative analysis is conducted on communication patterns based on text-based conversation protocols. Specifically, this research tries to extend existing studies on group-work by focusing on the interactive communication process among participants. Study results include that the production of creative outcome depends on the temporal sequence of discussion pattern among group members. (1) Appropriate control of the discussion process is essential to obtain a high level of performance. (2) It is also important to set up discussion rules and rules for the use of communication medium in the early stages of the discussion . (3) Active participants use various protocol types while less-active members rely mainly on 'cognitive' protocols.

  • Recently various types of disaster monitoring system using smart-phones are under active studying. In this paper, we propose a system that automatically performs the disaster and fire detection. Additionally we implement the Arduino-based smart image sensor system in the web platform. When a fire is detected, an SMS is sent to the Fire and Disaster Management Agency. In order to improve fire detection probability, we proposed a smart Arduino fire detection sensor simulation which searches the smart sensor inference algorithm using fuzzy rules.

  • Dynamic behavior of the harmonic detection part of an active power filter (APF) has an essential role in filter compensation performances during transient conditions. Instantaneous power (p-q) theory is extensively used to design harmonic detectors for active filters. Large overshoot of p-q theory method deteriorates filter response at a large and rapid load change. In this study the harmonic estimation of an APF during transient conditions for balanced three-phase nonlinear loads is conducted. A novel fuzzy instantaneous power (FIP) theory is proposed to improve conventional p-q theory dynamic performances during transient conditions to adapt automatically to any random and rapid nonlinear load change. Adding fuzzy rules in p-q theory improves the decomposition of the alternating current components of active and reactive power signals and develops correct reference during rapid and random current variation. Modifying p-q theory internal high-pass filter performance using fuzzy rules without any drawback is a prospect. In the simulated system using MATLAB/SIMULINK, the shunt active filter is connected to a rapidly time-varying nonlinear load. The harmonic detection parts of the shunt active filter are developed for FIP theory-based and p-q theory-based algorithms. The harmonic detector hardware is also developed using the TMS320F28335 digital signal processor and connected to a laboratory nonlinear load. The software is developed for FIP theory-based and p-q theory-based algorithms. The simulation and experimental tests results verify the ability of the new technique in harmonic detection of rapid changing nonlinear loads.
