  • Recent research trends of human growth hormone (hGH) are divided into improved first-generation products, long-acting second-generation products, and biosimilar products. Among the improved first-generation products studies, studies of injection devices are being actively conducted. The long-acting second-generation products are focused on extending the half-life of hGH, and depending on the results of the clinical trials, the candidates are expected to lead the future hGH market. Finally, biosimilar has had less impact on the hGH market before now; however, expectations of low-cost products still remainas an opportunity.

  • In this paper, the effect of interconnected boundary between journal and thrust bearings on the performance of self-acting air-lubricated bearings is investigated. When journal and thrust bearings have common boundary, conventional boundary condition which assumes that the boundary pressure is equal to atmosphere is no more valid. Instead, new boundary condition by mass conservation at interconnected boundary is needed. To do this, a duct model satisfying mass conservation at interconnected boundary is developed. Using this model, pressure distribution at interconnected boundary is numerically analyzed with changing the volume of interconnecting part. As a result, it is shown that load capacity of thrust bearing can be greatly increased when journal and thrust have a common boundary.

산양의 Anaplasmosis에 대한 역학적 조사 II . Terramycin을 이용한 치료시험 (A Studies on the Epidemiology of Caprine Anaplasmosis in Korea II. Therapy with Long Acting Terramycin)

  • Anaplasmosis is a tick-borne disease mainly of cattle, sheep, and goats. Anaplasmosis in goat had been reported at last year by authors. The disease brought the economic losses in the goat farm in Chonbuk province. In order to treat the disease, a long-acting formulation terramycin injectable solution was used experimental animals which indigenous goats were sick with moderate anemia. We were devided into two groups was treated with single dosage (20mg /kg of body weight). one group was treated with single injection, the other group was treated with twice of the same dosage intramusculary injection. The results indicate that the use of long-acting terramycin would minimize clinical signs of anaplasmosis infection in goat. After treament the differrences of hematological appearences and parasitaemia were observed in the effect of terramycin treatment. obviously, increased value of RBC. HB and HCT, and parasitaemia by means of Giemsa staining and acrydine orange staining was observed decreased due to treatment.

터널굴진율이 막장에서의 침투력에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Effect of Tunnel Advance Rate on the Seepage Forces Acting on the Tunnel Face)

  • In this study, the effect of tunnel advance rate on the seepage forces acting on the tunnel face was studied. The finite element program to analyze the groundwater flow around a tunnel with the consideration of tunnel advance rate was developed. Using the program, the parametric study for the effect of the tunnel advance rate and hydraulic characteristics of the ground on the seepage forces acting on the tunnel face was studied. From this study, it was concluded that the tunnel advance rate must be taken into consideration as an additional parameter to assess the seepage forces at the tunnel face and a rational design methodology for the assessment of support pressures required for maintaining the stability of the tunnel face was suggested for underwater tunnels.

실물인장실험시 변형률계를 이용한 전주에 작용하는 응력분석 (Stress Analysis Acting on Electric Pole using Strain Gauge from Full Scale Pull-Out Test)

  • Many electric poles in the softground have been collapsed due to external load. In this study, 10 types of tests were performed with variation of location, numbers and depths of anchor blocks as well as depth of poles to find stresses acting on concrete electric poles. The stresses of concrete poles are relaxed at 600~700[kg] of tensile load, and stresses are concentrated at top of pole, and spread to lower part of pole. In the concrete pole collapse test, tensile load at failure was approximately 1,400[kg], which is twice of design load. As passive zone in the soil increases, the stresses acting on concrete pole are concentrated at lower part of pole based on moment arm earth pressure distribution.

Shape Optimization to Minimize The Response Time of Direct-acting Solenoid Valve

  • Direct-acting solenoid valves are used in the automotive industry due to their simple structure and quick response in controlling the flow of fluid. We performed an optimization study of response time in order to improve the dynamic performance of a direct-acting solenoid valve. For the optimal design process, we used the commercial optimization software PIAnO, which provides various tools for efficient optimization including design of experiments (DOE), approximation techniques, and a design optimization algorithm. 35 sampling points of computational experiments are performed to find the optimum values of the design variables. In all cases, ANSYS Maxwell electromagnetic analysis software was used to model the electromagnetic dynamics. An approximate model generated from the electromagnetic analysis was estimated and used for the optimization. The best optimization model was selected using the verified approximation model called the Kriging model, and an optimization algorithm called the progressive quadratic response surface method (PQRSM).

  • The advent of novel, direct-acting antiviral (DAA) regimens for hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection has revolutionized its treatment by producing a sustained virologic response of more than 95% with few side effects and no comorbidities in the general population. Until recently, ideal DAA regimens have not been available to patients with severe renal impairment and end-stage renal disease because there are limited data on the pharmacokinetics, safety, and efficacy of treatment in this unique population. In a hemodialysis context, identifying patients in need of treatment and preventing HCV transmission may also be a matter of concern. Recently published studies suggest that a combination of paritaprevir/ritonavir/ombitasvir and dasabuvir, elbasvir/grazoprevir, or glecaprevir/pibrentasvir successfully treats HCV infection in chronic kidney disease stage 4 or 5 patients with or without hemodialysis.

We used three types of club(driver, iron7, pitching wedge). This analysis method can compare between top class golfer and beginner. And the comparison data can be used to correct the swing pose of trainee. If motion analysis system, which can measure the swing speed and instantaneous acceleration at the point of hitting a ball, is combined with this plantar foot force analysis method, new design development of golf shoes to increase comfort and ball flight distance will be available. 1. 영화 <사도>(2015)의 클로즈업 쇼트 연구 (Study on Close-Up Shots in Film (2015))

  • 프레임 가득 배우의 얼굴을 확대하여 미세한 표정의 떨림조차 놓치지 않고 정확하게 포착하는 클로즈업은 살아있는 배우가 연기를 하는 무대 위 보다 훨씬 더 사실적으로 배우의 연기를 표현한다. 클로즈업은 관객의 시선을 사로잡을 수 있는 나름의 이미지와 의미의 효과들을 생산하며, 배우의 얼굴이 최소한의 거리에서 관객과 직접적인 소통을 하는 듯한 심리적 현상을 불러일으키기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구는 클로즈업의 촬영 효과와 연기 효과를 연구하고, 그에 따른 연기 훈련의 필요성을 제언하기 위해 영화 <사도>(2015)를 분석해보았다. 영화 <사도>는 송강호가 인물 설정의 사실성을 높이기 위해 얼굴의 특수 분장으로 실제 나이보다 20년 이상 많은 나이를 연기했고, 이러한 얼굴과, 제스처, 클로즈업 된 소품들이 극중 인물의 성격과 영화의 감정을 표현함에 있어 어떠한 연기력을 충분히 공유하며, 영화연기의 핵심이 되는 다양한 언어적, 시각적, 정서적 의미의 효과들을 만들어내고 있다는 점에서 분석의 대상으로 삼았다. 본 연구를 통해 배우들이 클로즈업의 효과와 영화연기의 핵심을 알고, 카메라 앞에서 효과적인 표현 방법을 찾는데 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 하는 바람이다.

스키리조트 종사자의 감정노동과 직무소진이 서비스 제공수준에 미치는 영향 (The effects of emotional labor and job burnout of the ski resort workers on service level)

  • 본 연구는 스키리조트 종사자가 지각하는 감정노동과 직무소진이 서비스 제공수준에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 국내 스키리조트에 근무하는 종사자 215명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 감정노동은 표면행위와 내면행위의 2개 하위요인, 직무소진은 단일요인, 서비스 제공수준은 유형성, 응대성, 노력의지의 3개 하위요인으로 구성되었다. 또한 자료처리는 빈도분석, 확인적요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 연구결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 스키리조트 종사자가 지각하는 감정노동 중 표면행위는 직무소진에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 내면행위는 직무소진에 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 스키리조트 종사자가 지각하는 감정노동 중 표면행위는 서비스 제공수준의 유형성, 응대성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 내면행위는 서비스 제공수준의 유형성, 응대성, 노력의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 스키리조트 종사자가 지각하는 직무소진은 서비스 제공수준의 유형성, 응대성, 노력의지에 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 스키리조트와 같이 스포츠 서비스조직에 근무하는 종사자가 경험하는 감정노동과 결과 변수들간의 관계를 바탕으로 시사점과 제한점을 제시하였다.
