A musical that combines singing, dancing, and acting is a popular musical drama created by the development of opera. These musicals are the cultural and industrial sectors that are commercially compatible with artistry and popularity. Musicals remind you of exciting and colorful live performances. This musical industry has been loved by the public as it was created not only on stage but also as a musical film. The film industry has been striving to express the musical's unique originality through film screens. In terms of acting, acting in musical films should be implemented to suit musical films. In order to do so, the characteristics of movie acting and musical acting will be understood at the same time and true musical film acting can be implemented on the screen when each genre is fused. In order to act as a musical film, it is necessary to understand the functional characteristics of each genre and apply the necessary functions on the spot.

This study testifies the proposition that in the case of high emotional organizational commitment, through employees perform surface acting, they feel high personal accomplishment. Data was collected from 158 flight attendants of two airlines in Korea. From the hierarchical regression analysis, we could conclude such as follows. First, emotional organizational commitment has a positive effect on surface acting. It means that because employees with high emotional organizational commitment accept organizational goals as theirs, they are willing to perform surface acting. Second, surface acting has a positive effect on personal accomplishment. It means that surface acting has a "positive" side as well as negative one. Third, according to above results, organizations should try to take measures to increase the emotional organizational commitment of flight attendants.

This article explores Kim Hye-soo's film acting from the perspective of performance, which means a socio-cultural action planned and intended for a certain purpose. Through the aspect of screen performance which the identity of the era that the performance study aims for is expressed through acting and reappeared in a system of verbal and non-verbal symbols, it was intended to enhance the academic value of Korean film acting. First, Kim Hye-soo's acting performance transforms by repeating genre acting. The sensuality and sexual attractiveness that evaluates Kim Hye-soo are repeated by the typical vision required by genre films, but the acting performance is not consumed or subordinated as a tool for visual pleasure. Second, Kim Hye-soo's body, face, emotion and audio are engraved with memories of the times, and the sociocultural identity of the performance is expressed through dynamic interaction between actions and reactions. Third, Kim Hye-soo's restored and recreated performance is sensitive to the changes of the times and is still in the process.

Comedy has been popular since ancient Greece. In order to visualize comedy more effectively, the actor's acting acts as an important factor. Then active discussion is needed on how actors can actually shape their comedic performance. I would like to approach comedic acting methods, focusing on the character of Kim Seo-young in the play . This researcher played the character of Kim Mi-young, and the characteristics of comedic acting include exaggeration, repetition, fast tempo, changing tone, and exaggerated physical behavior. Comedic acting comes from a dissonance of reactions. This is because unexpected reactions to stimuli can cause audience laughter. Comedic acting is also important in exaggeration and repetition, which must be based on true acting. The fast tempo of the act and the changing tone of the words also affect comedic acting expressions, and the embodiments of 'slapstick' and 'group dance', which are characteristics of farce acting, play an important role in causing audience laughter. In order for these characteristic elements to show comic effects, the actor's true acting must be the basis. What is important in comedic acting is understanding the narrative flow and features of the text and expressing it accurately. Comedic effects can be sufficiently represented if an actor truly expresses his means and faithfully demonstrates what the text requires. It is hoped that such research will help explore various acting arts, the acting education field, and the theater creation process.
In this study investigated the effect of emotional labor, emotional exhaustion, and depression on the job-related attitudes. Sample subjects used in this study were salespeople of a fashion shop in Jeollabukdo and Jeollanamdo. Questionnaire data from 160 fashion shop salespeople were analyzed through a reliability analysis, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study were as follows. First, emotional labor of salespeople was divided into 2 factors, surface acting and deep acting. Second, emotional labor had a significant influence on the emotional exhaustion and depression. Third, the surface acting of emotional labor had a positive influence on the emotional exhaustion and depression; whereas, the deep acting of emotional labor had a negative influence on the emotional exhaustion and depression. Fourth, the surface acting of emotional labor, emotional exhaustion, and depression had a negative influence on job involvement; in addition, the deep acting of emotional labor had a positive influence on job involvement. Fifth, the surface acting of emotional labor, emotional exhaustion, and depression had a positive influence on turnover intention; in addition, the deep acting of emotional labor had a negative influence on turnover intention.
Purpose: The Purpose of this study is to build up model of the emotional labor worker's health. Methods: Data was collected from 230 emotional labor workers from 2 department stores, 2 insurance companies, and 3 hotels located in Seoul and Kyung-gi areas, by the health managers and team leaders. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, pearson correlation, factor analysis and covariance structure analysis were used by SPSS window 10 version and AMOS 4.01. Results: The hypothetical model showed a goodness-of-fit to the empirical data(GFI=0.90, RMR=0.04, NFI= 0.79, PNFI=0.64). Eight out of fifteen paths of the model were accepted, while the other seven paths rejected. : From 'surface acting' to 'health', from 'social support' to 'surface acting', from 'social support' to 'health', from 'factors of organizational culture' to 'surface acting', from 'factors of organizational culture' to 'deep acting', from 'personal factor' to 'social support', from 'factors of organizational culture' to 'social support', from 'routine stress' to 'social support'. In conclusion, it has been confirmed that surface acting and social support were dominating factors to the health of emotional labor workers. Purpose: The study sought to uncover the effect of emotional labour strategies (surface acting and deep acting) on job satisfaction and emotional exhaustion. The study also purposed to analyse the moderating effect of organisational support (supervisory support and co-worker support) and the role of gender on emotional labour connotations. Research design, data and methodology: A conceptual framework was developed using extant literature which led to the examination of deep acting and surface acting, which are the two main strategies of emotional labour. The outcome variables were emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction. Data was collected from front line employees of banks and was analysed using SEM-AMOS version 21. Results: It was revealed, in this study, that surface acting is inversely related to job satisfaction and positively related to emotional exhaustion, whereas deep acting was positively related to job satisfaction and inversely related to emotional exhaustion. The roles of gender and organisational support were also confirmed. Conclusions: The study therefore concluded that deep acting is the most ideal strategy of emotional labour as it leads to job satisfaction and reduced emotional exhaustion. Surface acting is a harmful emotional labour strategy.
Purpose: Although emotional intelligence(EI) is seemingly related to the service-oriented citizenship behaviors(OCB) of contact employees who are directly interacting with customers, there are only a few studies examining the relationship between the two. This study attempts to provide empirical evidence for a link between EI and service-oriented OCB. In addition, when EI affects service-oriented OCB, this present study identifies which emotional labor strategy between surface acting and deep acting is to be chosen. Methods: The data of EI, service-oriented OCB, surface acting, and deep acting were collected from 142 sales employees who provided services in four large domestic department stores. Hierarchical regression analyses were performed to verify empirically the main effects between EI and service-oriented OCB and mediating effects of emotional labor strategy. Results: The results show that EI is significantly related to service-oriented OCB in the current sample. Results also indicate that the deep acting rather than surface acting reveals a mediating effect in the process of EI affecting service-oriented OCB. Conclusion: The results of this study shows that EI which has a conceptual basis for OCB, can be extended to service-oriented OCB, The results also contribute to expanding the understanding of the relationship between EI and service-oriented OCB by testing the effect of EI on service-oriented OCB through deep acting. Theoretical and practical implications are reviewed, and limitations of the study and suggestions for future research are addressed.

For this purpose, the data collected from 156 nurses working at a major hospital were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The findings of this study are as follows: First, nurses' acceptance of AI had a significant positive effect on deep acting but not on surface acting. Second, deep acting had a significant positive effect on organizational commitment, but surface acting did not. Third, nurses' organizational commitment had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Fourth, deep acting significantly mediated the relationship between nurses' acceptance of AI and organizational commitment, but surface acting did not. Fifth, deep acting and organizational commitment significantly mediated the relationship between nurses' acceptance of AI and job satisfaction, but surface acting and organizational commitment did not. Theoretical and practical implications are provided based on the relationships between the variables found in this study.
