  • In this article, the performances of acoustic enclosure with double resilient mount system which was designed by ADD to reduce the radiated noise by main noise source of ships, was tested and evaluated. From test results, it was verified that the acoustic performances of acoustic enclosure satisfied the requirements; vibration isolation level at 1st stage mount system of 15 ㏈ and airborne noise reduction level of 20 ㏈ in broad band.

한국형 고속전철의 실내외 소음설계 검토 (Review of Acoustic Design of KHST(Korea High Speed Train))

  • KHST(Korea High Speed Train) project plans to design and to build an high speed train. There are noise requirements in passenger room for the standing and running condition, which should be reached. Predicted noise calculated for the standing and running TM5(Motorized car) and TT4(Trailer car) train (v=300 km/h and v=350 km/h) to find out critical areas in or around the train. From the estimation in DWA IfS, actions of noise reduction are proposed to reach the requirements. This paper takes the review of the calculated results in DWA IfS to propose a new design of inner wall.

  • KHST project plans to design and to build an high speed train. There are noise requirements in passenger room for the standing and running train, which should be reached. Noise prognosises are calculated for the standing and running TM5(Motorized car) and TT4(Trailer car) train (v=300km/h) to find out critical areas in or around the train. On those areas, actions of noise reduction are proposed to reach the requirements. Finally noise prognosises are calculated for the higher velocity of v=350km/h.

  • 국내 문화예술공간에 대한 통계조사에서 나타나듯이, 국내의 많은 공연시설들은 노후화에 따른 크고 작은 규모의 개보수가 필요한 상태이다. 그러나 이와 같은 기존공간의 음향개보수과정에서 참고가 될만한 사례연구가 많지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구는 문화재로써 많은 제약조건을 갖는 SH고등학교 강당을 대상으로 초기 음향검토에서부터 사용자의 요구조건 및 문제점들을 고려한 대안의 수립 그리고 대안들의 적용에 따른 음향성능평가과정 및 그 결과를 분석함으로써 음향리노베이션 설계의 참고자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 개선방안들의 적용결과, 실의 잔향특성이 개선되었으며 언어명료도 및 음악명료도가 개선되었음을 확인하였다. 그러나 라우드니스는 목표한 수준에 미치지 못하였으며 이는 천장에 적용된 슬랫형 구조가 강한 반사음을 제공하지 못하기 때문인 것으로 분석되었다.

  • Reduction of acoustic loads of space launch vehicles can be achieved by acoustic absorbers satisfying strict cleanness requirements. This limited the use of general porous materials and requires non-porous sound absorbers. Micro-perforated panel absorbers(MPPA) is one of promising sound absorbers satisfying the cleanness requirement for launch vehicles. However, its applicability was limited to low sound pressure levels according to the acoustic impedance model of micro-perforated panels. In this paper the applicability of micro-perforated panel absorbers at high incident sound pressure was investigated in experimental ways. The absorption characteristics of a micro-perforated panel absorber was simulated according to its design variables, e.g., minute hole diameters and aperture ratios. It was shown that optimal design can be readily done by using proposed design charts. Experiments were conducted to measure acoustic properties of the designed micro-perforated panel absorbers. The results showed that acoustic resistance increases rapidly as incident sound pressure level does but change of acoustic reactance can be neglected in a practical point of view. This caused the decrease of peak value of absorption coefficient at high incident sound pressure level, but the amount of reduction can be accepted in practice. The major advantage of the micro-perforated panel absorber(wide absorption bandwidth) was still kept at high sound pressure level.

소음파라메터를 고려한 축류송풍기의 최적설계 (Optimum Design of Axial-Flow Fans Including Noise Parameters)

  • In order to seek various relationships among many design parameters employed in the design of the axial-flow fans the program which generates acoustic spectrum has been developed and its validity verified. Outputs of the program, with other outputs from a formerly developed performance prediction program, have been used to form a multi-objective function, for which an optimal design process was carried out. The present analysis shows that overall noise level and efficiency has contrasting trends, and the chord length turns out to be the most critical design variable. In the chosen design case of requirements $Q=2000m^2/min$, ${\Delta}P_s=67mmAq$, D=1.4m, the chord length of 0.2059m minimizes the overall noise level, while chord length of 0.1254m maximizes the efficiency. The resulting chord length in the balanced optimization is 0.1809m.

국내 교육시설의 음향기준 제정의 필요성 제고 (Towards better acoustic conditions in school buildings in Korea-a need for Korean standard for classroom acoustics)

  • 본 논문에서는 국내 초·중·고 및 대학교 학습공간의 음향 상태에 관해 설명하고 국내 교육시설의 음향 기준 제정의 필요성을 제시하였다. 여러 나라의 학교시설 내 다양한 학습공간에서 요구되는 배경소음, 잔향시간, 그리고 차음 설계의 음향 기준을 이해하기 위해 학교시설 음향설계기준 및 지침을 소개하였다. 국내 초·중·고 및 대학교 학습공간의 음향 상태를 파악하기 위해 현장 측정 결과를 바탕으로 하였으며, 그 결과에서는 공석과 만석 상태의 음향 특성, 배경 소음레벨, 그리고 차음성능을 제시하여 비교하였다. 실제 대학 강의 현장에서 좋은 음성 명료도를 성취하기 위한 음향지표 값도 제시하였다.

  • After launching, spacecraft is exposed to extreme environments. So spacecraft should be tested after design/manufacture to verify whether components can be operated functionally. Acceleration transferred from launch vehicle to spacecraft produces quasi-static load, sine vibration and random vibration. Random vibration is also induced by acoustic vibrations transferred by surface of spacecraft. And shock vibration is produced when spacecraft is separated from launch vehicle. To verify operation of spacecraft under these launch environments, separation shock test, sine vibration test, acoustic vibration test and random vibration test should be performed. This paper describes these launch environment test requirements.

  • This paper introduces the results of acoustic loads test conducted on the upper stage assembly of KSLV-I, which is the first Korea space launch vehicle. A launch vehicle and its payloads are subjected to severe acoustic pressure loading when they lift off and ascent during the transonic periods. Acoustic loadings are spreaded out broad frequncy-spectrum up to 10,000Hz. Acoustic loads are a primary source of structural random vibration of the upper stage and payloads. Therefore, in order to verify the structural integrity of the upper stage assembly of KSLV-I and the survivability of its components under severe random vibration environment, acoustic loads test is conducted in the high intensity acoustic chamber with 142dB (overall SPL). The results show the structural design and component random vibration specifications well meet with the environmental requirements.

  • 본 연구는 공동주택의 자기세대에서 가족간의 프라이버시를 확보하고 쾌적한 환경을 유지하기 위해 필요한 차음성능 설계목표치를 설정한 후 기존 공동주택의 소음환경 실태를 파악, 설계목표치와 비교하였다. 또한 현행 공법을 다양하게 변화하여 설계목표치를 만족하는 조건을 찾고자 하였다. 이를 위해 세대내에서의 주침실, 자녀실 및 거실의 실간 차음성능을 파악하였으며, 실배치유형에 따른 차음성능 변화, 구성 재료 변화에 따른 플러쉬도아의 차음성능, 경량벽체의 구성재료 변화에 따른 차음성능 변화를 검토하여 소음환경 개선방안을 제시하였다.
