Communication network numbers are used in classifying each kind of network, identifying the communication companies and choosing services that are supplied by the companies. In the present, a new numbering system is needed to distinguish a new additional communication network. However the present numbering system of domestic communication network has some problems such as exhaustion of network number, excessive local numbers, and so forth So, in this thesis we call the wire and the wireless telephone network, the pager network and the personal number as communication networks, and consider the present condition and problems of our country, Korea, and foreign countries. Then we propose the efficient numbering plan. Firstly, the present 10 numbering systems that are distributed, such as communication networking number $\ulcorner$01X$\lrcorner$ are diminished into 5 communication network numbers that have same quality. Secondly, subscriber numbers are united to 8 digit and 144 area codes are made into widened 5 area codes. Thirdly, the personal numbering services are cross-distributed by century. And we examine the technical convening plan and the legal converting plan and investigate expecting efficiency of proposed numbering system. If this numbering plan is executed, subscriber's number on communication networks are unified at 8 digits, 5 reserve numbers are secured in exhausted communication network number of $\ulcorner$01X$\lrcorner$, and they can distribute subscriber numbers over twice as much. In addition, number acceptability is enlarged from 237,600 thousands to 400,000 thousands. Personal number can be classified at not only century but also a decade. Accordingly, acceptable numbers are increased two folds enough to provide unification and population increase. We were able to confirm all the efficiencies.

The purpose of this paper is to present the manufacturing defect and damage pattern of a 3 phase 22.9/3.3kV oil immersed transformer, as well as to present an objective basis for the prevention of a similar accident and to secure data for the settlement of PL related disputes. It was found that in order to prevent the occurrence of accidents to transformers, insulating oil analysis, thermal image measurement, and corona discharge diagnosis, etc., were performed by establishing relevant regulation. The result of analysis performed on the external appearance of a transformer to which an accident occurred, the internal insulation resistance and protection system, etc., showed that most of the analysis items were judged to be acceptable. However, it was found that the insulation characteristics between the primary winding and the enclosure, those between the ground and the secondary winding, and those between the primary and secondary windings were inappropriate due to an insulating oil leak caused by damage to the pressure relief valve. From the analysis of the acidity values measured over the past 5 years, it is thought that an increase in carbon dioxide (CO2) caused an increase in the temperature inside the transformer and the increase in the ethylene gas increased the possibility of ignition. Even though 17 years have passed since the transformer was installed, it was found that the system's design, manufacture, maintenance and management have been performed well and the insulating paper was in good condition, and that there was no trace of public access or vandalism. However, in the case of transformers to which accidents have occurred, a melted area between the upper and the intermediate bobbins of the W-phase secondary winding as well as between its intermediate and lower bobbins. It can be seen that a V-pattern was formed at the carbonized area of the transformer and that the depth of the carbonization is deeper at the upper side than the lower side. In addition, it was found that physical bending and deformation occurred inside the secondary winding due to non-uniform pressure while performing transformer winding work. Therefore, since it is obvious that the accident occurred due to a manufacturing defect (winding work defect), it is thought that the manufacturer of the transformer is responsible for the accident and that it is lawful for the manufacture to investigate and prove the concrete cause of the accident according to the Product Liability Law (PLL).

Purpose: The present study aimed to evaluate progression and prognosis according to the palliation method used in neonates and early infants aged 3 months or younger who were diagnosed with pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect (PA VSD) or tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with severe pulmonary stenosis (PS) in a single tertiary hospital over a period of 12 years. Methods: Twenty with PA VSD and 9 with TOF and severe PS needed initial palliation. Reintervention after initial palliation, complete repair, and progress were reviewed retrospectively. Results: Among 29 patients, 14 patients underwent right ventricle to pulmonary artery (RV-PA) connection, 11 palliative BT shunt, 2 central shunt, and 2 ductal stent insertion. Median age at the initial palliation was 13 days (1-98 days). Additional procedure for pulmonary blood flow was required in 5 patients; 4 additional BT shunt operations and 1 RV-PA connection. There were 2 early deaths among patients with RV-PA connection, one from RV failure and the other from severe infection. Finally, 25 patients (86%) had a complete repair. Median age of total correction was 12 months (range, 2-31 months). At last follow-up, 2 patients had required reintervention after total correction; 1 conduit replacement and 1 right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) patch enlargements. Conclusion: For initial palliation of patients with PA VSD or TOF with severe PS, not only shunt operation but also RV-PA connection approach can provide an acceptable outcome. To select the most proper surgical strategy, we recommend thorough evaluation of cardiac anomalies such as RVOT and PA morphologies and consideration of the patient's condition.

Aim to get operation factors, an In-vessel Composting of Wastewater Sludge was operated. The composting equipment is consisted of three chamber, 1st, 2nd and 3rd consequently. In the results, the temperature of fermentation had shown that 1st fermentation chamber(F/C) temperature was higher than that of 2nd and 3rd fermentation chamber. The temperature was steady in all steps during the sludge being composted, the ranges of each step were $50^{\circ}{\sim}59^{\circ}C$ of 1st F/C, $41^{\circ}{\sim}50^{\circ}C$ of 2nd F/C, and $32^{\circ}{\sim}37^{\circ}C$ of 3rd F/C. Organic material content of the end product was 28% and that of pH was 7.5. Properties of the compost which have been composted on optimized condition, were shown that is acceptable to use as a fertilizer. Even in the winter time, the composting system was working well without any trouble. According to result of investigation, the end-product of the system was satisfied with the standard for a fertilizer usage. HRT(hydraulic retention time) of entire process was appropriated to be 14 days(0.9 days at drying and 3.5, 4.4, 5.2 days at each step of fermentations, respectively).
The purpose of this study is to know whether single layer continuous connell suture is an acceptable alternative to simple interrupted approximating suture for end-to-end intestinal anastomosis in dogs. Fourteen mixed-breed dogs weighing 2 to 5 kg were allotted to group treated with simple interrupted approximating suture (Group I) and group treated with single layer continuous Connell suture (Group II), each of 7 dogs. All dogs in each suture pattern were compared with time for total operation ad suture elapsed for intestines to anastomose, clinical signs, changing of pre-and postoperative luminal size, status of feces, adhesion at anastomotic site for 14 days after operation. Time for total operation and suture time for intestinal anastomosis were none significant between Group I and Group II, although those in Group II was about 3 minutes shorter than those in Group I, respectively. Group I spent average 47.08${\pm}$11.10 minutes on total operation, 20.97${\pm}$5.54 minutes on suture time for intestinal anastomosis and Group II spent average 44.74${\pm}$7.77 minutes, 17.73${\pm}$3.05 minutes, respectively. All dogs were no special differences in vitality, vomiting, appetite between Group I and Group II for 14 days after operation. All dogs, except one dog in Group I, had showed normal vitality and appetite since 6~8 days after operation. Initial return of fecal passage showed in all dogs before 6 days after operation and thereafter most dogs showed normal feces. According to results, it was thought that all dogs with normal vitality and appetite before 8 days had showed good prognosis. There were no changes of intestinal luminal size in 2 dogs performed Group In and one dog performed Group II between at operation and 14 days after operation. Narrowing rate of intestinal lumen in Group I was average 9.3% of the normal diameter, whereas in Group II, 9.5% of normal diameter. In complications after operation, only one dog in Group I showed intestinal intussusception but the others didn't. Length of adhesion was measured between intestinal anastomotic site and omental graft. Length of adhesion in dogs performed Group II was mostly shorter than that of Group I. Adhesion with proximate intestines occurred in five dogs, which consisted of 3 dogs performed Group I and 2 dogs performed Group II. Concurrently, they had a great length of adhesion between anastomotic site and omental graft. There were no great differences between Group I and Group II about speed of operation, clinical signs, complications such as leakage and stricture. And all dogs performed intestinal anastomosis showed good clinical condition and prognosis. In conclusion, Single layer continuous Connell suture can safely perform an intestinal anastomosis and be an alternative of simple interrupted approximating suture in aspect of speed clinically.
This research was carried out not only to examine the proper manufacturing condition for white charcoal board in relation to charcoal particle size and final mat moisture content (FMC), but also to maintain the advantageous properties of white charcoal as a well being building material against the sick house problem. Excellent functional white charcoal board was produced with two groups of FMC 20~25% and FMC 36~60%. The latter showed best results among tested samples in two types which are #40-60type-P15%, M5%, FMC 60% and mixed type-P15%, M5%, FMC36% with non formaldehyde adhesives [MDI (M), poly vinyl acetate emulsion (P)] and three stage pressing cycle of 30-10-$30kgf/cm^2$ (1 min.-1.5 min.-6 min.). The former gave highly acceptable results in two types which are #6 over-M15%FMC25% and mixed type-M25%FMC20%. White charcoal board gave excellent in dimensional stability, gas adsorption and far-infrared emission.
The embryos of marine bivalves have been commonly used in bioassays for the quality assessment of marine environments. Although several standard protocols for developmental bioassay with bivalves have been already proposed, there have been few trials for applying these protocols in environmental assessment, or for developing new protocol with Korean species. So, there is a strong need to establish the standard bioassay protocols using bivalves commonly found in Korean waters. Prior to developing a new protocol, it is essential to know the optimum conditions for the reliable bioassay procedures. Here, we established the purpose of this study to determine the optimum bioassay conditions for successful development of a common mussel, Mytilus galloprovincialis. The conditions considered as critical for developmental bioassay, and determined in this study were; (1) temperature, (2) salinity, and (3) initial density of embryo. The optimal temperature for developmental bioassay of M. galloprovincialis was determined as $15^{\circ}C$. At this temperature, the required time for the embryo to become veliger larva was 48 hr. The acceptable range of salinity for the embryotoxicity test using M. galloprivincialis was from 30 to 35 psu, which was narrower than that of the natural habitat of adult populations. The optimum density of embryo at the beginning of bioassay was 100 embryos/ml. Over this density, the proportion of normally developed larvae decreased significantly. The results obtained in this study will serve as a basis for preparation of the standard bioassay protocol using embryo of M. galloprovincialis.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identified patterns and trend of studies and to analyzed the nursing research related to the mother-child interaction in Korea and to improve direction of nursing research in mother-child interaction in Korea. Method: The research studies related to the mother-child interaction were selected from the Korean Nurses Academic Society Journal, and from dissertation, which were conducted between 1961 and 2002 with the consideration of the condition and the cultural specialty of Korea. The total numbers of the studies were 34. These studies were classified according to 1)time of publication or presentation, 2)research design, 3)type of interaction objects, 4)measurement tool, and 5)chief content of studies. Ressult: 1) Until 1984, there was no research studies related to mother-child interaction. The number of studies on the mother-child interaction on the mother-child interaction has been increased rapidly after 1985. The mother-child interaction studies were 13(38.2%) from the doctoral dissertation, 4(11.8%) from the Master's theses and 17(50%) other papers were published in academic journals. 2) Experimental studies of research design was used in these research studies was 13(38.2%). Descriptive studies was 8(23.6%), correlational studies was 4(11.8%) and comparative studies was 4(11.8%). Qualitative study was just one(2.9%) and literature review was 4(11.8%). Especially experimental studies has been increased. 3) Participants of these studies were mother and infant 29(85.5%), father and infant 2(5.9%), mother and fetus 2(5.9%) and nurse and infant 1(2.9%) 4) Utilization of instruments as follows: 13 studies used Walker et al(1986)'s MIPIS (Mother-Infant Play Interaction Scale), 6 studies used Barnard(1978)'s NCAFS (Nursing Child Assessment Feeding Scale), 4 studies used NCATS(Nursing child Assessment Teaching Scale) for assessing mother-infant interaction. 3 studies used Stainton(1981)'s Parent-Infant Interaction Scale. Choi(1987), Kim(1999) and Kim and Son(1997) used measurement tool researcher made which was modified from NCATS (Nursing child Assessment Teaching Scale) and AMIS(Assessment of Mother-Infant Sensitivity Scale). Other tools used to survey influencing factors of interaction. 5) Content of the research studies were classified 3 different types, such as ① studies about the mother-child interactions' pattern, ② studies about influencing factors of the mother-child interaction, ③ studies about effect of nursing intervention program to improve the mother-child interaction. Conclusion: Therefore we make following suggestions which are made based on the above research analysis : 1) In the future research studies need to compare with other area of discipline in mother-child interaction. 2) More attention and in depth research is needed to validate in terms of research design and statistical data analysis. 3) It is important to develop the instruments which is culturally acceptable in Korea society. 4) The results of correlational studies and experimental studies needs to the integrated by meta analysis.
Background: With development and application of new and effective anti-cancer drugs, the median survival post-progression (SPP) is often prolonged, and the role of the median SPP on surrogacy performance should be considered. To evaluate the impact of the median SPP on the correlation between progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS), we performed simulations for treatment of four types of cancer, advanced gastric cancer (AGC), metastatic colorectal cancer (MCC), glioblastoma (GBM), and advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (ANSCLC). Materials and Methods: The effects of the median SPP on the statistical properties of OS and the correlation between PFS and OS were assessed. Further, comparisons were made between the surrogacy performance based on real data from meta-analyses and simulation results with similar scenarios. Results: The probability of a significant gain in OS and HR for OS was decreased by an increase of the SPP/OS ratio or by a decrease of observed treatment benefit for PFS. Similarly, for each of the four types of cancer, the correlation between PFS and OS was reduced as the median SPP increased from 2 to 12 months. Except for ANSCLC, for which the median SPP was equal to the true value, the simulated correlation between PFS and OS was consistent with the values derived from meta-analyses for the other three kinds of cancer. Further, for these three types of cancer, when the median SPP was controlled at a designated level (i.e., < 4 months for AGC, < 12 months for MCC, and <6 months for GBM), the correlation between PFS and OS was strong; and the power of OS reached 34.9% at the minimum. Conclusions: PFS is an acceptable surrogate endpoint for OS under the condition of controlling SPPs for AGC, MCC, and GBM at their limit levels; a similar conclusion cannot be made for ANSCLC.
Statement of problem: The use of zirconia prostheses fabricated with CAD/CAM system is on an increasing trend in dentistry. However, evaluation of the fit related to internal relief and marginal reproducibility of zirconia has not been reported. Purpose : This study was to evaluate the fit related to internal relief and marginal reproducibility of zirconia core fabricated with CAD/CAM system. Materials and methods: The evaluation was based on 30 zirconia cores and 5 IPS-Empress2 cores. Zirconia cores were fabricated in different conditions of internal relief(0, 10, 20, 30, 40 and $50{\mu}m$), and IPS-Empress2 cores were fabricated in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Before cementation, the marginal discrepancies or cores were measured on metal die. And then, each core was cemented to stone die, embedded in an acrylic resin and sectioned in two planes(mesiodistally and labiopalatally). The internal gaps were measured at the margin and axial surface. Measurements for the marginal discrepancies, the internal marginal gaps and the internal axial gaps were performed under a measuring microscope(Compact measuring microscope STM5; Olympus, Japan) at a magnification of ${\times}100$. In addition, the marginal conagurations of metal die, zirconia core and IPS-Empress2 core were examined with SEM(S-2700, Hitachi, Japan). Results : Within the limits of this study the results were as follows. 1. Compared with IPS-Empress2 cores, the marginal discrepancies of zirconia cores had no significant differences. the internal marginal gaps were statistically smaller and the internal axial gaps were statistically larger in each condition of internal relief. 2. The marginal discrepancies and the internal marginal gaps of zirconia cores had no significant differences related to the conditions of internal relief(P>0.05). 3. The internal axial gaps of zirconia cores with $0{\sim}20{\mu}$m for internal relief were significantly larger than that with $50{\mu}m$ (P<(0.0001). 4. SEM micrographs showed favorable marginal reproducibility of zirconia core and smooth texture on the milling surface. Conclusion: The marginal discrepancy and the internal gaps of zirconia core were clinically acceptable and the milling surface was showed smooth texture. For fabrication of the durable esthetic restoration, further investigations on complex design of core, milling accuracy, compatability of enamel porcelain and porcelain firing seems to be needed.
