사자평 고산습지의 보전대책 (Conservation Measure of Sajapyeong Alpine Wetland)

  • 사자평 고산습지는 유역분지 및 기반암의 특성과 화전의 영향을 받아 형성되었다. 사자평 유역분지는 출구가 좁고, 기반양은 많은 암설을 생산하여 사면 아래로 공급한다. 그리고 화전을 위하여 삼림을 제거함으로써 표토의 세립물질이 사전천의 하상에 퇴적되어, 시전천의 유로 주변에 고산습지가 형성되었다 사자평의 습원에는 도로를 따라 우곡이 형성되었는데, 우곡은 습원으로 공급되는 사력물질과 통류의 공급을 차단함으로써 습원을 건조화 시킨다. 이를 방지하기 위해서는 배수로의 수위를 기반암 풍화층의 높이까지 높여 습원으로 통류가흐를 수 있도록 하여야 하며, 배수로의 모양을 자연스러운 불규칙한 형태로 조정하여야 하고 시전천의 하상에 인위적인 방해물을 적치하여 시전천의 하상이 낮아지는 것을 방지하여야 한다.

인 함유 벤조산 변성폴리에스테르와 HDI-Trimer에 의한 PU 난연도료의 제조 및 도막물성 (Preparation and Physical Properties of PU Flame-Retardant Coatings Using Benzoic Acid Modified Polyester Containing Phosphorus and HDI-Trimer)

  • PU flame-retardant coatings (APHD) containing phosphorous were prepared by blending of hexamethylene diisocyanate-trimer, white pigment, dispersing agent, flowing agent, and previously prepared benzoic acid modified polyester (APTB) that contains phosphorous. Physical properties of the prepared APHD were examined. With the introduction of BZA (contained in APTB), the film viscosity and film hardness of APHD decreased. With the introduction of caprolactone group, the flexibility, impact resistance, accelerated weathering resistance of APTBs increased. Flame retardancy of the coatings was tested. In a vertical burning method, APHD shows 210${\sim}$313 seconds, and in a $45^{\circ}$ Meckel burner method, shows 1.3${\sim}$4.0$cm^2$ of char length, which indicates that the coatings are good flame-retardant coatings. Moreover, the amount of afterglow and flame retardancy of the coatings are decreased with increasing BZA content.

석조문화재 받침용 쐐기 재질의 물성 실험 연구 (The study on the property of material for the shim of stone cultural properties)

  • Stone cultural properties(pagoda, Buddhist statue etc.) is moved in original place for many reasons and restored after taking to pieces for structural safety. With the movement and restoration after taking to pieces, the cast iron is used for the sake of a fixation and horizontality. The stone cultural properties are spoiled the beauty and accelerated the weathering because of the corrosion product of cast iron. So we need to substitute for the improved property in all aspects. We are executed the corrosion test and inquired the property of material on the usable material for the shim of stone cultural properties. That is the Cast iron, Stainless steel, Titanium and Fiber Reinforced Plastics. In the result of the physical property and strength, the Stainless steel and Titanium was superior to the Cast iron. And the Stainless steel and Titanium was slower than the Cast iron in the corrosion velocity for the acid, salt and rain. If the shim is substitute the Stainless steel or Titanium for the Cast iron, the stone cultural properties are able to reduce the pollution of stone cultural properties by corrosion product and should not happen in the matter of stone pagoda.

  • An ACR/HMMM film was prepared by blending high-solid ACR with curing agent, hexamethoxymethyl melamine (HMMM). An active curing reaction was observed at $170^{\circ}C$. The dynamic viscoelastic $T_{g}$ of the final film increased with the static viscoelastic $T_{g}$ of the film. The log damp value, which means a viscoelastic ratio, decreased with the increase in the curing temperature of the film. Physical properties of the films were within a suitable range for films, and by an accelerated weathering resistance test the films were proved weather resistible ones.

  • Two-component polyurethane flame retardant coatings (ATTBC) were prepared by blending polyisocyanate (TDI-adduct) with ATTBs mentioned at the previous paper. Most of the physical properties of the flame retardant coatings were comparable to those of non-flame retardant coatings. Especially, the hardness, impact resistance, and accelerated weathering resistance were remarkably improved with the increase of the content of 1,4-butanediol. Coatings containing 10 and 15 wt% 1,4-butanediol, ATTBC-10C and ATTBC-15C, were not flammable in vertical flame-retardancy test. Their char area recorded 1.1${\sim}$11.6 $cm^2$ in 45$^{\circ}$ eckel burner method.

  • Recently, environment problems have effects on the electronic equipments. Security problems are presented. For security reasons, it is necessary to study electronic equipments. In this paper, we handle the Elasticity modulus on the polymer insulator by UV irradiation. The types of material are used in this experiment, is the EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer). For increasing the reliability, real material specimens are used. For this study, we used ESPI (Electronic speckle pattern interferometry), UTM (Universal thesting machine) device, Accelerated weathering tester. Through this measurement, we evaluated how much UV irradiation has effect on polymer insulator and how long does it take to change the polymer insulator. Also this paper will give a help in electronic industry and the method of measuring the insulator elasticity modulus of polymer could be utilized in life estimation and replacement time of the products of electronic equipment that is used in real industrial fields.

  • Recently polymer insulators are being used for outdoor high voltage applications. Polymer insulators for transmission line have significant advantages over porcelain and glass insulators, especially for ultra-high voltage transmission lines. Their advantages are light weight, vandalism resistance and hydrophobicity. Polymer insulators are a relatively new technology, but their expected life is still unknown. Therefore these estimating technique are very important. Their life time is related to weathering and operating condition. Multi-aging test is requested because aging factor is occurred by multi-aging than unique aging. The aging test about polymer insulators have mainly carried out by IEC 61109. This paper presents multi-stress chamber experiments and tracking wheel test to examine the tracking and erosion performance of polymer insulator for transmission. Multi-stress testing is able to demonstrate deficiencies of polymer insulator materials and designs, including the nature of interfaces in insulation design. We have investigated IEC 61109 Annex C (5000h aging test) and CEA tracking wheel test as test methods of artificial accelerated aging. The aging degree of polymer insulator is estimated by leakage current, measurement of hydrophobicity degree, damage conditions of insulator surface, withstand voltage test etc.

  • 기후변화는 더 이상 피할 수 없는 매우 중요한 문제다. 온실가스 중 큰 비중을 차지하는 이산화탄소 배출을 억제하거나 제거하기 위한 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 최근에는 CCS 중 하나인 지중저장(underground storage)의 대안으로 해양에 이산화탄소를 저장하는 기술인 AWL(Accelerated Weathering of Limestone)을 이용한 해양저장(ocean storage)에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. AWL은 이산화탄소를 중탄산이온 형태의 농축수로 만들어 해양에 방류하여 희석 저장시키는 방법으로, 대기 중 재방출이 거의 발생하지 않고 배출된 농축수는 해양의 알칼리도를 높여 해양산성화를 방지할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 금회 연구는 AWL에 의한 방법 중 중탄산이온 농축수의 해양방류 시 이산화탄소 등을 포함하는 용존 무기탄소(DIC, Dissolved Inorganic Carbon)의 거동특성을 파악하기 위한 목적으로 수행하였다. 연구대상 해역은 충분한 수심과 작업효율성이 확보되는 울릉도 부근으로 설정하였으며, 거동특성을 파악하기 위하여 표층방류(surface discharge)와 수중방류(submerged discharge)에 의한 물질확산을 계산할 수 있는 CORMIX모형을 채택하였다. 실험결과, 방류 시점으로부터의 희석률을 고려했을 때, 표층방류 시나리오가 농축수 방류에 가장 적합한 방식이라고 사료된다.

바이오 폴리머 콘크리트의 환경 저항성 평가 연구 (A Evaluation of Environmental Resistance for Bio-Polymer Concretes)

  • PURPOSES : The objective of this study is to evaluate the environmental resistance of bio-polymer concrete for use of pavement materials developed for reducing the carbon-dioxide. METHODS : The compression, tension, and bending strength tests were conducted on the bio-polymer concrete specimens with and without environmental conditioning. The specimens were conditioned using the freezing-thaw and accelerated weathering process for long period of time. To assess the resistance against chloride, the chloride ion penetration resistance tests were carried out on the bio-polymer concrete specimens. RESULTS : Test results show that the maximum difference in strength between specimens with and without conditioning is about 2.6MPa indicating that the effect of environmental conditioning on specimen strength is negligible. Based on the chloride ion penetration resistance test, the penetration quantity of electric charge of the specimens is zero and there is no ion penetration within the bio-polymer concrete. CONCLUSIONS : It is found from this study that there is slight change in strength of bio-polymer concretes before and after environmental conditioning process and no chloride ion penetration observed in these specimens. Therefore, the developed bio-polymer concretes can be applied effectively as pavement materials due to the small change of physical properties with environment change.

가전제품용 플라스틱 재료의 열분해 거동 및 신뢰성 평가 (Thermal Degradation Behavior and Reliability Analysis of Plastic Materials for Household Electric Appliances)

  • 가전제품용 플라스틱 재료의 열화 거동과 신뢰성을 고찰하기 위해 열분해에 따른 동역학적 매개변수를 결정하기 위하여 동역학적 열중량 분석기법을 사용하였고, 촉진 열화시험을 수행하였다. 또한, 플라스틱 재료의 내후성을 고찰하고자 제논 아크 광원을 사용하여 촉진 열화시험을 하였고, 가속 열화시험후 시료의 색차를 컬러 아이 3010 색차분석기를 이용하여 측정하였다. 재료는 중량감소율이 증가함에 따라 열분해 활성화 에너지도 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 플라스틱 재료의 열분해에 관한 기술은 Kim-Park법이 가장 효과적인 분석법으로 나타났다. 플라스틱 재료는 빠른 열화를 진행시키는 자외선에 아주 민감하게 반응하였다.
