The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of instruction with stories on elementary school students' science learning and memory. For the purpose, this researcher sampled 3 classes in their 3th grade from an elementary school. Out of the three classes, two were designated as the comparative group consisting of 70 students and the other, the experimental group, 32 students. The former group was applied instruction treatment under the 7th national curriculum of education. The other group was instructed with a story book that contained stories students already knew which were somewhat rearranged to comply with contents of a relevant curricular course. Results of the study can be described as follows. First, academic achievement test was made immediately after the treatment to show that the experimental group was significantly higher in scores for memory and understanding in the section of 'Finding Constellations' that the other group. Second, the two groups' academic achievements in relation to the section, 'Finding Constellations' were tested 3 months after the treatment to show that the experimental group was significantly higher in scores for memory and understanding than the comparative group. Such achievements within the groups were tested 3 months after the treatment to find that both of the two groups didn't show statistically significant differences.

The KJC and KCI services operated by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) need to refer to the global citation index database to set the service direction that researchers want and develop new functions. Therefore, in this study, the usability of Korea's KJC and KCI web databases was evaluated. In addition, FGI verification was performed for a group of experts on KJC and KCI improvement measures derived by academic information experts. The evaluation committee consisted of the researcher group, the society related group, the publisher (academic information distribution organization) group, and the policy-making organization group. A total of 16 experts performed usability evaluation and service improvement proposals for KJC and KCI services. As a result of usability evaluation of KJC and KCI web database using SUS measurement tool, KJC service was evaluated as 73.44, and KCI service was evaluated as good as 64.38. KJC improvement proposals were evaluated positively with 4 points or more for all improvement items, and KCI improvement proposals were positively evaluated with 3.5 points or more for all improvement items. Overall, KJC and KCI error improvements were evaluated with a score of 4 or more, showing strong affirmations. In the future, it is hoped that the improvement proposals and improvements proposed in this study will be applied to the development of KJC and KCI services, so that more quality services will be used by domestic researchers.
Purpose: This study is a qualitative study that investigated the nature of Koreans' spiritual health using a hybrid model, clarifying the definition and attributes of the concept. Methods: The nature and definition of Koreans' spiritual health were identified through a review of the extensive literature at the theoretical stage and then compared with an analysis of the in-depth interview data conducted by the researcher in the fieldwork stage. Results: Koreans' spiritual health comprised nine attributes: awareness of the meaning and purpose of life, self-awareness, self-acceptance and recognition, self-transcendence, self-integration, harmony of relationships, self-actualization and development, the inner affective attributes of hope, happiness, fulfillment and thankful mind, and the interpersonal affective attributes of one connected mind, compassion, generosity and humility. The scope of the Absolute is expanded to 'heaven' and 'ancestors', and harmony with the community is emphasized. Conclusion: We have found that Koreans' spiritual health is important for total nursing care and that mental, social and physical health can be improved if spiritual health is promoted. Considering this point, personal and organizational efforts are needed to ensure that spiritual nursing is positively applied in community and clinical settings.

This study explored journal publishing and authorship by South Korean early career researchers (ECRs) in the field of library and information science (LIS). This research analyzed relevant journal publication data and conducted interviews to obtain information on the experiences and opinions of ECRs. Results indicated that South Korean ECRs in LIS were highly productive. This was evidenced by their annual publishing rate of 2.04 articles per person. In addition, Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) publications were produced at an annual average of 0.26 articles per person, while the quartile ratings for SSCI journal publications were also relatively high. However, unlike the trends seen in other academic fields, their collaborative research efforts were not considered very high because such efforts did not correspond to half their total publications. ECRs often participate as lead or corresponding authors despite being new researchers. ECRs are publishing first in the journals approved by their universities. These researchers cannot receive proper credit if the journal was not approved in this manner. ECRs are particularly disadvantaged when publishing in international journals corresponding to specific areas that are not on the SSCI list. By examining the journal publishing and authorship efforts of ECRs, this study discovered a variety of difficulties that should be addressed. For example, South Korean universities do not currently have cooperative research guidelines to solve authorship problems. The results from this study can serve as a basis to establish academic publishing and authorship policies while promoting scholarly communication in LIS and other scientific fields.
Purpose: Purpose - This study investigates and aims to discuss regarding the employee's work stress and its relationship with employee's workability based on literature content analysis. Finally, this study will provide how employees can manage it and coexist while enjoying the benefits of a stress-free working environment. Research design, data, and methodology - The author collected many textual contexts from mostly peer-reviewed academic journals, which means that academic comprehensive integrity can be obtained by qualitative approach for this study with discussing and following a constructive review analysis. The content analysis aims to determine a textural dataset in the longtime frame from the newest textural information. Result - There is little doubt that this study was significant and relevant to the relationship between employee work stress and workability, indicating how organizations that manage their employees in a stress-free working environment. the present researcher separate the solutions into five categories according to the person or body responsible for the answers. Conclusion - The numerous solutions on how to deal with various stresses, the theoretical aspect of the solutions involving the theories developed by multiple past articles on how to solve work stress. In general, workability and work stress is a very large field of study. Another consideration is the numerous professionalisms in the world, and each has different ways stress is induced in the organization.
The lack of international research networks in Asia has been a major barrier in bridging scattered Asian academic societies. As a result, most researchers in Asia are not familiar with which journals they can access for their research, nor where they can submit their valuable research manuscripts. Asian Marketing Journal (AMJ) and the International Conference of Asian Marketing Associations (ICAMA), both of which are managed by Asian scholars for Asian scholars, are expected to take on such roles to make a significant contribution to Asian academic societies by encouraging them to study and share research topics that are more relevant and helpful to Asian market studies that come from an Asian researcher's perspective. This study aims to acknowledge and explain the successful settlement of the International Conference of Asian Marketing Associations (ICAMA) and its representative journal, Asia Marketing Journal (AMJ), by discussing how ICAMA and AMJ were created, why they are necessary to Asian researchers, and what goals they hope to achieve. Another, arguably more important objective of this study is to provide Asian researchers with information on what topics Asian academia has been researching since 2000, and guide researchers as to which journals in Asian academia can publish their marketing research papers.

The purpose of this study is to discuss how Dongi People in ancient societies resided in the region including the Korean Peninsula shaped its economy, what kind of currency was used, and their economic activities using this currency. This study started from a skeptical point of view that the Dongi People were conducting economic activities with the currency used in the country made by the Jina People before and after the Gojoseon society. Currently, in China, all currencies issued in China are treated as their own currency. It is due to subjective interpretation from a nationalist point of view. Japan subjectively interprets and judges from a Japanese point of view and North Korea judges from the central point of view on the Korean Peninsula. This difference is due to the subjective interpretation from the researcher which has been affected by their associating academic area. This has caused the lack of objectivity. In other words, it means that there is a big difference in the perception of the interpretation of history between different academic areas. This study, therefore, tried to avoid the application of biased concept or academic research in order to define the distribution economics more objectively by conducting the study based on the literature sources from Chinese ancient books and field research materials as much as possible, as the study and research conducted based on the domestic sources are insufficient in the sense that there is a gap between different perceptions and interpretations. As a conclusion of this study, the excavation area of Myeong-do-jeon is perfectly consistent with the old river area of Gojoseon, and in particular, considering Gojoseon was in the hostile relationship with Yan, it was found that only Myeong-do-jeon was used without using any other Chinese currency in the entire Gojoseon area, not just some areas. It is also a decisive clue to prove that it is not the Yan currency. The limitation of this study in developing the discussion different from the current research and study is that there was a lack of exploration and investigation of various documents and relics. For future research, this study will become more meaningful when it is conducted simultaneously with the discovering of new documents as well as the relics.
