  • After the liberation of Korea from Japanese colonialism, archeology in South and North Korea took different paths. In particular, archeology in South and North Korea began to show great differences from the 1970s, when the former experienced rapid academic advancement following the evacuation of large-scale relics and the latter began to demonstrate a drastically political nature. North Korea declared 'Daedonggang Culture' in the 1990s, and South and North Korean archeology subsequently became so divorced that the two shared almost no common ideas. This kind of discrepancy is now particularly prominent with regard to the Bronze Age and Iron Age around "Gojoseon". Researchers of prehistoric archeology in South Korea have no choice but to keep referring to North Korean archeology. This is because North Korean resources are the main research subjects for identifying "the origin and descent of culture", which is still one of the most important research topics. However, people cast doubt on their reliability. Such a "two-fold viewpoint" demonstrates how those associated with South Korean archeology perceive their counterparts in North Korea. A large part of the visible "gap" between South and North Korea in terms of Bronze Age archeology comes from "political difference" that cannot be resolved by an increase in survey cases or academic debate. However, examining the trend in prehistoric archeology in North Korea is not aimed at criticizing the political nature of North Korean archeology. The goal is to investigate how the North Korean perspective on the Bronze Age differs from that in South Korea at present and to examine the potential problems in explaining "prehistoric culture in the Korean peninsula" and, furthermore, prehistoric culture in Northeast Asia, by including North Korean resources. This paper examines how Bronze Age-related research trends have evolved in North Korea to date and compares them with those seen in South Korean archeology during the same period.

  • This study analyzed the factors influencing the satisfaction of school students in Covid-19. The subjects of the study were surveyed in all 5th-6th grade of elementary school students, 1st-3rd grade of middle school, and 1st and 2nd grade of high school students in G metropolitan city. A total of 13,672 students participated in the survey, of which 13,613 were used for final data analysis. A hierarchical regression analysis of factors affecting students' life satisfaction showed that 22.2% of school life factors, 4.7% of home life factors, and 10.7% of daily stressors. The most influential factor in Covid-19 was home life satisfaction. Next was appearance stress for elementary school students and academic stress for middle and high school students. This can be seen as a result of Covid-19, which increased non-face-to-face classes and increased time for students to spend at home, which led to a greater impact on students' satisfaction in life. Nevertheless, middle and high school students can still see that academic stress has a significant impact on life satisfaction. Through this, it is necessary to support students to facilitate relationships, communication, studies, and leisure at home in the context of Corona 19. Especially, various educational policies must be accompanied so that the educational gap due to non-face-to-face classes does not deepen depending on the family environment.

An open-ended questionnaire was developed by the first two authors to investigate reasons why children and adolescents feel grateful, respect, indebted, close, conflict, and distance with their parents. A total of 763 participants (212 grade three students, 267 grade eight students, and 284 grade eleven students) completed the questionnaire. The results can be summarized into three main points. First, the vast majority of children and adolescents feel grateful, respect, and indebted to their parents. They feel grateful, respect and indebted for the sacrifice and suffering they experience looking after the family. Moreover, they respects their parents because of their sincerity, blood relationship, benevolence, guidance and educational support. They feel indebted since they did not obey them, were not able to meet their expectations, and were not diligent in their schoolwork. They felt especially close to their mother. The conflict they felt was due to generational gap and in their academic performance. Second, age affects how they perceive their parents. The parent-child conflict increases with age. The feeling of indebtedness also increase with age. However, the feeling of gratefulness and respects decreases with age. The feeling of closeness with father also decreases with age. Third, socio-economic status and educational achievement of children and adolescent affect the perception of their parents. • Level-Based Education is necessary for the multi-cultural learners because they tend to have the academic underachievement and learning deficiency that cause the huge educational gap. However, it is very hard to make the best of competence for the multi-cultural learners in the classroom. So, it is needed to suggest how we can use the educational contents that are appropriate for the Level-Based Learning and Individual Learning to make good use of teaching the learners from multi-cultural families. However, developing the new educational contents takes much time and cost, we have to improve existing contents for the student from multi-cultural families to use it. Hence, the purpose of this thesis is to develop the educational appropriateness evaluation scale to verify the educational contents that are for the multi-cultural students based on the educational content's evaluation tool, so by developing the scale, I intend to evaluate the 4~6 grades' Korean contents of the E-learning service and provide the ways of improvement.

  • Since 2008, it has been stipulated to conduct programming education for grade 5 and 6 elementary school student. However, it is the reality that the plans and studies for this are seriously lacking until now. The objective of this study is to propose a programming education utilizing robots as a plan to overcome limitations of existing programming education, find the problems through developing and applying education program for general elementary school students. As a result of experimental application of the developed program, since the gap of academic accomplishment for the robot programming is large for each student, it is necessary to develop education program to enable individual studies of each level and operate program with the focus on programming education rather than the robot. Moreover, it is pointed that the difficult and unnecessary elements in the robot programming course must be improved or reduced, it is better to exercise it on the grade 6 program for concentration on the programming education, and there should be improvement on equipment, environment for robot programming.
