TiC-$Cr_3C_2$ 계 확산구동 재결정에 미치는 ZrC와 VC 첨가영향 (Effects of ZrC and VC Addition on the Diffusion Induced Recrystallization of TiC--$Cr_3C_2$)

  • The effect of ZrC and VC addition on the diffusion induced recrystallization (DIR) of TiC-Cr3C2 has been investigated. With in creasing the amount of added ZrC to Cr3C2 the DIR of TiC was suppressed at the begining and then occurred. On the contrary the DIR was accelerated with the addition of VC to Cr3C2 Because the lattice parameters of (Ti, Cr)C and (Ti,V)C are smaller and that of (Ti, Zr)C is larger than that of TiC the lattice parameter of (Ti,Cr,Zr)C is expected to be similar to that of TiC,. The results indicate that the strain energy due to lattice mismatch between TiC and solid-solution carbide is the driving force of the observed energy due to lattice mismatch between TiC and solid-solution carbide is the driving force of the observed DIR.

$TiO_2$ 수열코팅에 의한 흑연의 표면 개질 (Modification of Graphite Surface By the Hydrothermal Coating of $TiO_2$)

  • 0.2M TiCl4 수용액에 특수열 코팅 처리하여 TiO2 코팅된 흑연 분말 표면의 개질에 관하여 연구하였다. 35℃ 반응온도에서 TiO2 rutile상이 흑연 분말에 코팅되엇다. 코팅된 흑연 분말은 물에 대한 친수성이 증가하였다. 반응온도가 60℃로 증가함에 따라 코팅되는 TiO2의 양도 증가하였다. TiO2 코팅된 흑연 분말의 산화시작온도는 30'C 정도 증가하였고 최종감량효과도 30%이상 증가하였다.

구리 확산에 대한 Pt/Ti 및 Ni/Ti 확산 방지막 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Diffusion Barrier Properties of Pt/Ti and Ni/Ti for Cu Metallization)

  • New Pt/Ti and hi/Ti double-metal structures have been investigated for the application of a diffusion barrier between Cu and Si in deep submicron integrated circuits. Pt/Ti and Ni/Ti were deposited using E-beam evaporator at room temperature. The performance of Pt/Ti and Ni/Ti structures as diffusion barrier against Cu diffusion was examined by charge pumping method, gate leakage current, junction leakage current, and SIMS(secondary ion mass spectroscopy). These evaluation indicated that Pt/Ti(200${\AA}$/100${\AA}$) film is a good barrier against Cu diffusion up to 450$^{\circ}C$.

VHF-PECVD OF Ti/TiN WITH SILANE REDUCTION PROCESS

  • This paper presents VHF-Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (VHF-PECVD) of Ti/TiN with silne reduction process, using $TiCl_4$ source. VHF plasma, which is denser than a conventional RF plasma, produces a large number of radicals. Silane reduction process, which supplies silane radicals, more promotes dissociation of Ti-Cl bond than a conventional hydrogen reduction process. therefore, the VHF-PECVD with silane reduction process forms high quality Ti/TiN films, which have low level of Cl content(<0.2 at.%). In result, the resistivity for Ti or TiN is less than 200$\mu$$\Omega$cm. The surface morphology of Ti film is very smooth. The structure of TiN film is amorphous. Furthermore, excellent step coverage for the films is obtained.

나노튜브 $TiO_2$ 층 생성 후 전석회화 처리한 Ti-6Al-7Nb 합금의 생체활성도 (Bioactivity of precalcified nanotubular $TiO_2$ layer on Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy)

  • 연구 목적: 높은 외력이 작용하는 부위의 임플란트 재료로서 사용되고 있는 Ti-6Al-7Nb 합금의 골유착을 개선하기 위한 방법의 하나로서 나노튜브 $TiO_2$ 층 생성하고 전석회화 처리한 다음 유사체액 중에서의 활성도를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 재료 및 방법: 양극산화처리는 glycerol에 20 wt% $H_2O$와 1 wt% $NH_4F$를 혼합하여 준비한 전해질 수용액에 전압 20 V, 전류밀도 20 mA/$cm^2$의 조건에서 1시간동안 통전하였다. 전석회화처리는 $80^{\circ}C$$Na_2HPO_4$ 수용액에 30분 동안 침적하고, 이어서$100^{\circ}C$$Ca(OH)_2$ 포화 수용액에 30분 동안 침적하였으며, $500^{\circ}C$에서 2시간 동안 열처리하였다. 전석회화처리 후 표면층의 생체활성도를 조사하기 위해 $36.5^{\circ}C$, pH 7.4의 유사체액에 10일 동안 침적하였다. 결과: 1. 나노튜브 $TiO_2$ 층은 높은 자기정렬 형태를 갖고 큰 직경의 튜브들 사이 공간에 상대적으로 작은 직경의 튜브들이 생성되는 형태로 치밀한 구조를 이루었으며, 상부에서 하부로 갈수록 직경 감소를 보였다. 2.1 wt% $NH_4F$와 20 wt% $H_2O$를 함유하는 glycerol 전해액에서 20V의 전압을 인가하여 생성된 나노튜브들의 평균 길이는 $517.0{\pm}23.2\;nm$를 보였다. 3. 나노튜브 $TiO_2$ 층의 생체활성도는 $80^{\circ}C$의 0.5 M$Na_2HPO_4$ 수용액과 $100^{\circ}C$$Ca(OH)_2$ 포화 수용액에 침적하는 전석회화처리 군의 경우에 크게 개선되어, 아파타이트의 석출 과정에서 나타나는 치밀한 돌기상과 이들을 가로지르는 미세 균열상이 관찰되었다. 결론: Ti-6Al-7Nb 합금을 나노튜브 $TiO_2$ 층 생성 후 전석회화 처리한 결과 생체활성도가 개선되었다.

질소산화물 제거를 위한 디스크형 바나디아 촉매담지 세라믹필터의 특성 (Characteristics of Disc-Type V2O5 Catalyst Impregnated Ceramic Filters for NOx Removal)

  • The performance of disk-type catalytic filters impregnated by TiO$_2$ or TiO$_2$-3Al$_2$O$_3$ㆍ 2SiO$_2$ supports and V$_2$O$_{5}$ catalyst was evaluated for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with ammonia as a reductant. XRD, FT -IR, BET and SEM were used to characterize the catalytic filters prepared in this work. Optimal V$_2$O$_{5}$ loading and reaction temperature for V$_2$O$_{5}$/TiO$_2$ catalytic filters were 3-6 wt.% and 350-40$0^{\circ}C$ at GHSV 14,300 $hr^{-1}$ in the presence of oxygen, respectively. With increasing the V$_2$O$_{5}$ loading from 0.5 to 6 wt%, NO conversion increased from 24 to 96% at 40$0^{\circ}C$ and 14.300$hr^{-1}$, and maintained at 80% over in the V$_2$O$_{5}$ loading range of 3-6 wt.% and then dropped at V$_2$O$_{5}$ loading of 7wt.% over. In comparing V$_2$O$_{5}$/ TiO$_2$ and V$_2$O$_{5}$/ TiO$_2$-3Al$_2$O$_3$ㆍ2SiO$_2$ catalytic fillers, which have same 3wt.% V$_2$O$_{5}$ loading, the V$_2$O$_{5}$/ TiO$_2$-3A1$_2$O$_3$ㆍ2SiO$_2$ catalytic filter showed higher activity than V$_2$O$_{5}$/ TiO$_2$ catalytic filter, but higher differential pressure drops owing to its low air permeability. low air permeability.

$(Zn_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})TiO_3$계 마이크로파용 유전체 세라믹의 저온소결에 관한 연구 (A Study on Low-Temperature Sintering of Microwave Dielectric Ceramics Based on $(Zn_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})TiO_3$)

  • The effects of sintering additives such as $Bi_2O_3$ and $V_2O_5$ on the microwave dielectric and sintering properties of (Zn, Mg)$TiO_3$ system were investigated. Highly dense samples were obtained for $(Zn_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})TiO_3$ at the sintering temperature range of $870{\sim}900^{\circ}C$ with $Bi_2O_3$ and $V_2O_5$ additions of <1wt.%, respectively. The microwave dielectric properties of $(Zn_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})TiO_3$ with 0.45 wt.% $Bi_2O_3$ and 0.55 wt.% $V_2O_5$ sintered at $900^{\circ}C$ were as follows: $Q{\times}f_o$=56,800 GHz, ${\varepsilon}_r$=22, and ${\tau}_f=-53ppm/^{\circ}C$. In order to improve temperature coefficient of resonant frequency, $TiO_2$ was added to the above system. The optimum amount of $TiO_2$ was 15 mol.% when sintered at $870^{\circ}C$, at which we could obtain following results: $Q{\times}f_o$ = 32,800 GHz, ${\varepsilon}_r$ = 26, and $\tau_f=0ppm/^{\circ}C$.

  • $Ba_{1-x}Sr_xTiO_3$ thin films with various ratio of Sr (X = 0.4, 0.5, 0.6) were grown $Pt/TiN/SiO_2/Si$ subastrate by RF magnetron sputtering deposition. As, Ag, and Cu films were deposited on $Ba_{1-x}Sr_xTiO_3$ thin films as top electrodes by using a thermal evaporator. The electrical properties of $Ba_{1-x}Sr_xTiO_3$ thin films for various compositions were characterized and the physical properties at interface between $Ba_{1-x}Sr_xTiO_3$ thin films and top electrodes were evaluated in terms of the work function difference. At x =0.5, the degradation of capacitance is lower to the other compositions. As negative biasapplied, the specimen with Cu top electrode has board saturation region and low leakage current since work function of Cu is bigger than other electrodes.$ Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}TiO_3$ thin films with Cu top electrode, the dielectric constant was measured to the value of 354 at 1 kHz and the leakage current was obtained to the value of $5.26\times10^{-6}A/cm2$ at the forward bias of 2 V.

수열법에 의한 Li4Ti5O12 Nanofibers 합성 및 전기화학적 특성에 관한 연구 (Synthesis and Electrochemical Characteristics of Li4Ti5O12 Nanofibers by Hydrothermal Method)

  • In this paper the effect of the structure, particle size, morphology of nanofibers and nanoparticles for the electrochemical characteristics of $Li_4Ti_5O_{12}$ was investigated. The $H_2Ti_2O_5{\cdot}H_2O$ synthesized in hydrothermal treatment from a NaOH treatment on $TiO_2$ by ion exchange processing with HCl solutions. After the $Li_4Ti_5O_{12}$ nanofibers synthesized in hydrothermal treatment of $H_2Ti_2O_5{\cdot}H_2O$ and $LiOH{\cdot}H_2O$. The hydrogen titanate precursor prepared by ion exchange processing with 0.1~0.3M HCl solutions and the final products calcined at $350^{\circ}C{\sim}400^{\circ}C$. The $Li_4Ti_5O_{12}$ nanofibers showed well reversibility during the insertion and extraction of Li, good cycle performance, high capacity and low electrochemical reaction resistance than nanoparticles. also c-rate exhibited a discharge capacity of 172 mAh/g at 0.2C and 115mAh/g at 5C, which is the 77%, 67% of that obtained in the process charged, discharged at 0.2C.

$TiO_2$ 광촉매를 처리한 Diazinon의 광분해에 관한 연구 (The study for photodegradation of diazinon using $TiO_2$ photocatalyst)

  • Considerable interest has been shown in recent years towards utilizing $TiO_2$ particles as a photocatalyst in the degradation of harmful organic contaminants. In this study, photocatalytic degradation of diazinon which is extensively used as a pesticide in the agriculture field, has been investigated with UV-illuminated $TiO_2$ weight, UV wavelength, pH of the solution. Photodegradation rate increased with decreasing initial concentration of diazinon and with increasing pH of the solution. Photodegradation rate increased with increasing $TiO_2$ weight, but was nearly the same at $TiO_2$ weight of 1g/$\ell$, 2 g/$\ell$, i.e., for initial diazinon concentratin of 5 mg/$\ell$. UV wavelength affecting on the degradation rate of diazinon decreased in the order of 254 nm>312 nm> 365 nm. For $TiO_2$ weight of 1 g/$\ell$and initial diazinon concentration of 5 mg/$\ell$, the photodegradation removal of diazinon was 100% after 130 min in the case of 254 nm, but 95% in the case of 312 nm, and 84% in the case of 365nm, after 180 min. The photodegradation of diazinon followed a first order or a pseudo - first order reaction rate. For initial diazinon concentration of 5 mg/$\ell$, the rate constants(k) in UV and $TiO_2$(1 g/$\ell$)/UV system were $0.006 min^{-1} and 0.0252 min^{-1} at 254 nm, 0.0055 min^{-1} and 0.0104 min^{-1} at 312 nm, and 0.004 min^{-1}$ at 365 nm respectively.
