A Satisfaction Analysis on the Search Expansion of D College Library System Implemented by Open API (Open API를 이용한 검색확장에 대한 만족도 평가 - D 대학을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze the satisfaction level of users regarding the search and search results of D College Library system implemented by Open API. For the study, 90 students of D College searched the library system with 4 subjects regarding on current affairs and assignments, and then evaluated the satisfaction on search functionality and contents usability. In results, they satisfied search expansion in general. Especially, the satisfaction levels for the convenience of search method and preview was the highest, but that of level for the arrangement and browsing of search results and the searching speed was the lowest. In terms of currentness, relevance, usefulness and utilizability aspects, Naver was the most highly evaluated, followed by library’s database, dissertation/academic journals, Youtube and Flikr. The cause of the unsatisfactory could be reduced when the library system implements the useful and attractive search interface.

  • As the 4th industrial revolution emerged, the latest technologies such as IoT, AI, Big data, AR/VR/XR are emerging. However, in the field of virtual reality (VR) technology platform services, there is no standardization and systematic support. In addition, various platform technologies related to virtual reality have been presented, making it difficult to select an API that should be selected for development. In this study, we analyzed the method for virtual reality development and the virtual reality (VR) technology that is being serviced by users. In addition, by presenting the advantages and disadvantages of each development platform, we intend to present a reference point for developers to select an efficient platform. In addition, it will help the developer to select an effective equipment and software platform in comparison with the advantages and disadvantages of various HMD devices used in virtual reality. The virtual reality (VR) development environment test used products from Oculus, and the software development environment was tested with two types: WebBased VR and HMD embedded.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented path search system using GPS information in photo. The system extracts EXIF information included in a photo to get path information and performs path search by applying the shortest path algorithm with the use of GPS information out of information, which was extracted in this way. And then it shows the obtained path information on web by utilizing Yahoo Map API. For this, the system is designed using a method of extracting location information in a photo and path sorting through applying the shortest path algorithm. UI(User Interface) was implemented using Yahoo Map API. Based on that, we implemented path search service using photo file that is included GPS information.

  • JVM(Java Virtual Machine) has GUI(Graphical User Interface) facility and Platform Independance and is used on the embedded device such as set-top box and smart phone. This needs JVM to execute Java application in the embedded device. CVM(Classic Virtual Machine) which is the kind of JVM is designed for embedded device to have limited resources. To support GUI facility of JAVA uses PBP(Personal Basis Profile) which is included on CVM. The PBP defines the GUI Stardard API to support GUI facility. When the GUI Stardard API is implemented, JNI(Java Native Interface) is used to connect between Java Native Method and Native function in Operating System. In this pater, PBP which is defined by CVM has designed and implemented on the Real-Time Operating System, iRTOS.

  • To propose a cause analysis method of pressurized facilities, a likelihood of failure (LOF) for the thinning module by hydrochloric acid corrosion was analyzed through the risk-based inspection (RBI) using API-581 BRD. For this investigation, the technical module subfactor (TMSF), as a main factor of the LOF, was estimated, and the effects of parameters on the TMSF were analyzed quantitatively. As a result, we found that the TMSF increased with increasing chloride ion concentration and temperature, but it decreased with increasing thickness of the facilities, inspection number and inspection effectiveness. Also, the TMSF showed a relatively low value for the monitoring system implemented and the overdesign factor>1.5. In this condition, the TMSF changed sensitively with the inspection number, the inspection effectiveness and the overdesign factor, and its magnitude varied with the monitoring system.

  • The rise of Online game ESD(Electronic Software Distribution) like Steam, the method of game piracy are more diversified. In Online Game ESD, Software DRM is applied to game because we have to play in offline situation, but it is easily bypassed due to low security level. In this study, we analyze crack files of pirated games to learn how to bypass Steam DRM and to establish countermeasures for based on API call birthmark. The generated birthmark showed more than 85% resilience in representing crack groups and 95% credibility in detecting cracked games. With this study, it is possible to enhance the security of the online game Electronic Software Distribution platform, and to provide a high level of game piracy protection for indie game developers, especially those who can not purchase Third Party DRM to protect their own games.

  • In this paper, we target to develop weather platform and services to use in smart devices which is in real-time mobility environment. The existing TPEG-based navigation service requires a dedicated terminal, DMB communication method, and service scalability, so there are limits. In this paper, we analyze, processing and storage the real-time weather information suitable for navigation on the end user's smart devices by weather information service platform has been developed that can provide a standardized. In addition, we develop weavigation services and API for the developer to develop weather services easily. And we introduce system for serving information of dangerous district forecast based on natural disaster dangerous district data.

A Study on the Gesture Matching Method for the Development of Gesture Contents (체감형 콘텐츠 개발을 위한 연속동작 매칭 방법에 관한 연구)

  • The recording and matching method of pose and gesture based on PC-window platform is introduced in this paper. The method uses the gesture detection camera, Xtion which is for the Windows PC. To develop the method, the API is first developed which processes and compares the depth data, RGB image data, and skeleton data obtained using the camera. The pose matching method which selectively compares only valid joints is developed. For the gesture matching, the recognition method which can differentiate the wrong pose between poses is developed. The tool which records and tests the sample data to extract the specified pose and gesture is developed. 6 different pose and gesture were captured and tested. Pose was recognized 100% and gesture was recognized 99%, so the proposed method was validated.

  • The M&S community needs an environmental data representation and interchange mechanism which not only satisfies the requirements of today's systems, but can be extended to meet future data sharing needs. This mechanism must allow for the standard representation of, and access to data. It must support databases containing integrated terrain, ocean, atmosphere, and space data. The SEDRIS provides environment data users and producers with a clearly defined interchange specification. In this paper I present the method to extract the data attributes contained in synthetic environment domain using SEDRIS technology and API.

  • The die & mould-design system fur the productivity increase is developed by our company. This system is made by UG API and constructs the standard through DB of parts of die & mould. Besides, the result of engineering analytic method is reflected in the design process in this system and the product precision is secured by On Machine Measurement method. Therefore, the ground of quality improvement and process innovation is solidified by the developed system and the competitiveness of die & mould manufacturing is intensified.
