  • Airborne Multispectral Scanner(AMS) 영상에 대한 활용이 증가하면서 영상 보정에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 최근 들어 AMS 장비와 더불어 GPS 수신기를 탑재해 항공기의 위치 보정은 물론 기하학적 영상 보정을 수행하는 DGPS에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 다양한 AMS 영상의 응용을 위해 DGPS를 이용한 영상보정 뿐만아니라 영상자체에 대한 기하학적 보정에 대한 연구도 병행되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 AMS 영상의 지형 정합도를 향상시키기 이해 기존의 Geometric 보정 방법인 Affine 및 고차 다항식 방법으로 보정을 수행한 결과와 새로운 개념인 연속적인 Piecewise 알고리즘을 도입하여 보정한 결과를 비교하고자 한다. 또한 기준점의 배치 및 개수의 관계를 고찰하여 효율적인 영상정합방법을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 Airborne Multispectral-scanner 영상 보정에 대한 연구는 다목적 실용위성의 기하학적인 보정에 관한 기초연구 자료로도 그 효용성이 클 것으로 기대된다.

The Kinetics of Radical Copolyerization of ${\alpha}$-Methylstyrene with Acrylonitrile in a CSTR (연속반응기에서 ${\alpha}$-Methylstyrene과 Acrylonitrile 라디칼 공중합 속도론)

  • Copolymerization of ${\alpha}$-Methylstyrene(AMS) with Acrylonitrile(AN) was carried out with benzoylperoxide(BPO) as an initiator in toluene at $80^{\circ}C$ in a continuous stirred tank reactor. Reaction volume and residence time were 0.6 liters and 3 hours, respectively. The monomer reactivity ratios, $r_{AMS}$ and $r_{AN}$ determined by both the Kele$T{\"{u}}d\"{o}s$ method and the Fineman-Ross method were $r_{AMS}$=0.16(0.14), $r_{AN}$=0.04(0.06). The cross-termination factor ${\Phi}$ of the copolymer over the entire AMS composition ranged from 0.75 to 0.92. The ${\Phi}$ factors of poly(AMS-co-AN) were increased with increasing AMS content. The simulated conversions and copolymerization rates were compared with the experimental results. It was observed that the average time to reach dynamic steady-state was three times the residence time.

Effect of Amino Modified Siloxane on the Properties of Epoxy Composites for MEMS Adhesives (MEMS 접착제용 에폭시 복합재의 아미노 변성 실록산 첨가에 의한 효과)

  • In the NCAs(non-conductive adhesive) for adhesion of Micro Electro Mechanical System(MEMS), there are some problems such as delamination and cracking, because of the differences of CTE(coefficients of thermal expansion) between NCAs and substrates. Addition of inorganic particle or flexibilizer have been performed to solve those problems. In this study, to improve the flexibility of epoxy adhesive, epoxy/siloxane composites were prepared by adding 1, 3, or 5 phr of amino modified siloxane(AMS). Glass transition temperatures(Tg), moduli and CTE of those composites were measured to confirm effects of siloxane on thermal/mechanical properties of siloxane/epoxy-composites. Tg of AMS/epoxy-composites decreased from $134^{\circ}C$ to $122^{\circ}C$ with increasing AMS contents and moduli decreased from 2,425 MPa to 2,143 MPa with increasing AMS contents. But CTE of AMS/epoxy-composites increased from $67ppm/^{\circ}C$ to $71ppm/^{\circ}C$ with increasing AMS contents. In short, the addition of siloxane is effective for enhancing the flexibility of epoxy but leads to the decrease of Tg.

Correlation Analysis Between Milking Levels and Automatic Milking System of Dairy Cattle (젖소의 산유수준과 자동착유시스템간의 상관관계 분석)

  • Total three hundred and fourteen dairy cows were used in this study to analysis of correlation between milking levels and automatic milking system (AMS). Cows were divided into five groups according to their milking levels (over 50 kg/day, 49~40 kg/day, 39~30 kg/day, 29~20 kg/day, 19~10 kg/day). All groups were compared with daily milking number, rejected number by AMS, residence time at AMS, milking time, flow rate of milk. Daily milking number and milking time were higher in the group of over 50 kg and 49~40 kg than that of other groups (p<0.05). There are no correlation on rejected number by AMS, residence time at AMS and flow rate of milk between milking levels and AMS. In addition, we found that the milk yield affected to feed intake and rumination of dairy cows. In conclusion, present results indicated that installation of AMS on dairy farms with high milk producing cows might be affected positively.

The effect of lactation number, stage, length, and milking frequency on milk yield in Korean Holstein dairy cows using automatic milking system

  • Objective: The aim of the current study was to describe the relationship between milk yield and lactation number, stage, length and milking frequency in Korean Holstein dairy cows using an automatic milking system (AMS). Methods: The original data set consisted of observations from April to October 2016 of 780 Holstein cows, with a total of 10,751 milkings. Each time a cow was milked by an AMS during the 24 h, the AMS management system recorded identification numbers of the AMS unit, the cow being milking, date and time of the milking, and milk yield (kg) as measured by the milk meters installed on each AMS unit, date and time of the lactation, lactation stage, milking frequency (NoM). Lactation stage is defined as the number of days milking per cows per lactation. Milk yield was calculated per udder quarter in the AMS and was added to 1 record per cow and trait for each milking. Milking frequency was measured the number of milkings per cow per 24 hour. Results: From the study results, a significant relationship was found between the milk yield and lactation number (p<0.001), with the maximum milk yield occurring in the third lactation cows. We recorded the highest milk yield, in a greater lactation length period of early stage (55 to 90 days) at a $4{\times}$ milking frequency/d, and the lowest milk yield was observed in the later stage (>201 days) of cows. Also, milking frequency had a significant influence on milk yield (p<0.001) in Korean Holstein cows using AMS. Conclusion: Detailed knowledge of these factors such as lactation number, stage, length, and milking frequency associated with increasing milk yield using AMS will help guide future recommendations to producers for maximizing milk yield in Korean Dairy industries.

Effects of Nano Silica and Siloxane on Properties of Epoxy Composites for Adhesion of Micro Electronic Device (나노 실리카 및 실록산이 초소형 전자소재 접착제용 에폭시 복합재의 물성에 미치는 효과)

Additions of inorganic particles or flexibilizers have been performed to solve those problems. The effects of silica addition on thermal/mechanical properties of amino modified siloxane(AMS)/silica/epoxy-nanocomposites were examined. The silica was treated by 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane(GPTMS) for better compatibility between silica and epoxy matrix. AMS/silica/epoxy-nanocomposites filled with various amounts of AMS(1 and 3 phr) and various amounts of silica(3, 5 and 7 phr) were prepared. And Tg, moduli and CTE of nanocomposites were analyzed. Tg of AMS/Aerosil(non-modified silica)/epoxy-nanocomposites decreased from 125 to $118^{\circ}C$ with increasing Aerosil contents and moduli increased from 2,225 to 2,523 MPa with increasing Aerosil contents. Tg of AMS/M-silica (modified silica)/epoxy-nanocomposites decreased from 124 to $120^{\circ}C$ with increasing M-silica contents and moduli increased from 1,981 to 2,743 MPa with increasing M-silica contents. CTE of AMS/Aerosil/epoxy-nanocomposites and AMS/M-silica/epoxy-nanocomposites showed decreasing tendency regardless of the surface treatments.

  • Macrophages residing in various tissue types are unique in terms of their anatomical locations, ontogenies, developmental pathways, gene expression patterns, and immunological functions. Alveolar macrophages (AMs) reside in the alveolar lumen of the lungs and serve as the first line of defense for the respiratory tract. The immunological functions of AMs are implicated in the pathogenesis of various pulmonary diseases such as allergic asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP), viral infection, and bacterial infection. Thus, the molecular mechanisms driving the development and function of AMs have been extensively investigated. In this review article, we discuss the roles of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and transforming growth factor (TGF)-β in AM development, and provide an overview of the anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory functions of AMs in various contexts. Notably, we examine the relationships between the metabolic status of AMs and their development processes and functions. We hope that this review will provide new information and insight into AM development and function.

Comparison of Milk Yield and Milk Composition Between Before and After Auto Milking System (AMS) Use in Dairy Cow (국내 자동착유시스템 이용농가의 설치 전·후 산유량 및 유성분 비교)

  • The present study was conducted to investigate effects of auto milking system (AMS) on milk yield and milk composition in dairy cow using dairy herd improvement (DHI) record. DHI records for 147 cows were compared between a year before and after AMS use. AMS significantly increased daily milk yield compared with the conventional milking system (30.4kg vs 34.3 kg for CMS and AMS, respectively). There were no significant differences in the contents of milk fat (3.7% vs 3.8% for CMS and AMS) and milk protein (3.2% vs 3.2% for CMS and AMS) between CMS and AMS. But the yields of milk fat and milk protein were significantly higher for AMS than for CMS. Average somatic cell counts were 169,400/ml (1st grade) before AMS use but increased by 314,400/ml (2nd grade) after AMS use. Overall, AMS increased milk yield and the yields of milk fat and protein without affecting milk composition but also increased somatic cell count.
