  • In this study, we developed a virtual artist play lesson model using gamification concepts and AI-generated art programs to foster creative thinking in freshman art majors. Targeting first-year students in the Digital Media Art Department at Sichuan Film & Television University in China, this course aims to alleviate fear of artistic creation and enhance problem-solving abilities. The educational model consists of four stages: persona creation, creative writing, text visualization, and virtual exhibitions. Through persona creation, students established their artist identities, and by introducing game-like elements into writing experiences, they discovered their latent creativity. Using AI-generated art programs for text visualization, students gained confidence in their creations, and in the virtual exhibitions, they were able to enhance their self-esteem as artists by appreciating and evaluating each other's works. This educational model offers a new approach to promoting creative thinking and problem-solving skills while increasing learner engagement and interest. Based on these research findings, we expect that by developing and implementing educational strategies that cultivate creative thinking, more students will grow their artistic capacities and creativity, benefiting not only art majors but also students from various fields.

  • As the limitations of the passive recognition domain, which is not guaranteed transparency of the operation process, AI technology has a vulnerability that depends on the data. Human error is inherent because raw data for artificial intelligence learning must be processed and inspected manually to secure data quality for the advancement of AI learning. In this study, we examine the necessity of learning data management before machine learning by analyzing inaccurate cases of AI learning data and cyber security attack method through the approach from cyber security perspective. In order to verify the learning data integrity, this paper presents the direction of data-preserving artificial intelligence system, a blockchain-based learning data environment model. The proposed method is expected to prevent the threats such as cyber attack and data corruption in providing and using data in the open network for data processing and raw data collection.

  • The importance of cultural arts education utilizing digital tools is increasing in terms of enhancing tech literacy, self-expression, and developing convergent capabilities. The creation process and evaluation of innovative multi-modal AI, provides expanded creative audio-visual experiences in users. In particular, the process of creating music with AI provides innovative experiences in all areas, from musical ideas to improving lyrics, editing and variations. In this study, we attempted to empirically analyze the process of performing tasks using an Audio and Music Generative AI platform and discussing with fellow learners. As a result, 12 services and 10 types of evaluation criteria were collected through voluntary participation, and divided into usage patterns and purposes. The academic, technological, and policy implications were presented for AI-powered liberal arts education with learners' perspectives.

  • This study aims to develop and validate a home economics education program focused on the consumer life area to enhance artificial intelligence (AI) literacy. To achieve this objective, a 10-session AI-consumer life integration education program was developed by analyzing literature on AI Literacy, AI curriculum, consumer education, and the home economics curriculum for the middle school consumer life area. The program's validity was assessed by nine teachers using a four-point Likert scale. The average scores for each item and the content validity index (CVI) were calculated. Based on expert feedback, the program was revised and improved accordingly. The expert validity assessment of the lesson plans, teaching materials and learning resources resulted in an average score of 3.78 for all items and an average CVI of 0.96. For the overall program, the expert validity assessment yielded an average score of 3.72 for all items and an average CVI of 0.97. Since the content validity index for all questions was above 0.78, the program demonstrated high validity across achievement standards integration, learning objectives, content and teaching methods, motivation, and volume areas. This confirms its effectiveness as an educational program for enhancing AI literacy. This study is significant in terms of defining and identifying the components of AI literacy, developing an AI-integrated program encompassing the entire consumer life area and confirming the suitability of the home economics curriculum for enhancing digital consumer competencies and promoting sustainable consumption. Additionally, it highlights the potential to integrate AI into the home economics and consumer life area.

  • As generative AI-based educational content and services targeting child users rapidly increase, the need for research related to children's perception of generative AI is increasing. Accordingly, this study sought to determine the type of generative AI recognized by children and whether cognitive, behavioral, and emotional properties were assigned to it. To understand this, we collected responses through workshop activities to create storybooks with children, semi-structured interviews, and drawing. As a result, children viewed generative AI as an artifact with a high cognitive level, but it was not a type of existing artifact.

  • For given the importance of elementary school students developing the ability to solve problems using artificial intelligence (AI), problem-solving abilities should be developed using AI along with education to develop problem-solving abilities. Such students need a form that allows them to understand the concepts and principles of AI and to be easily educated in a fun way to understand basic understanding of how AI works. To this end, this study planned an 8-hour AI convergence program and operated based on self-driving cars, demonstrating that it was effective in improving elementary school students' problem-solving abilities, creativity, and AI understanding. As a result of operating the camp, students' understanding of AI was 3.56 (standard deviation 0.85), 4.00 (standard deviation 0.71), and t-value was -5.412 (p<0.001), indicating statistically improved understanding of AI, and high satisfaction and interest of students. In the future, it will be necessary to develop an educational program that allows elementary school students to devise their own ideas and create products to which AI models can be applied.

  • Recently, the fourth industrial revolution has become an area of interest to many countries, mainly in major advanced countries. Artificial intelligence technology, the core technology of the fourth industrial revolution, is developing in a form of convergence in various fields and has a lot of influence on the edutech field to change education innovatively. This paper builds an experimental environment using the DTW speech recognition algorithm and deep learning on various native and non-native data. Furthermore, through comparisons with CNN algorithms, we study non-native speakers to correct them with similar pronunciation to native speakers by measuring the similarity of English pronunciation.

  • Recently, natural and social disasters in Korea are increasing, and new disasters such as COVID 19 and sinkholes, and large-scale disasters that combine natural and social disasters are occurring frequently. In order to reduce damage caused by disasters and effectively respond to disasters, the importance of disaster safety education is emerging because it is necessary to understand the awareness of disaster situations and the functional response process. Ministry of Public Interior and Security is providing disaster safety education for emergency managers through 54 specialized disaster safety education institutions. There is also a lack of experience facilities. This has a problem in that it makes it difficult for disaster safety personnel to effectively respond to disasters due to lack of experience in actual disaster sites. Also, unlike other education fields, the connection between disaster safety education contents and new technologies such as AI is still lacking. In this study, focusing on natural disaster, the current status and problems of domestic disaster safety education institutions and their contents are investigated and analyzed, and based on this, this study suggested improvement plans for domestic disaster safety education contents such as establishment of a unified disaster safety standard curriculum, production and distribution of disaster safety education experience contents using virtual reality technology and infotainment technology, and development of mobile AI tutoring service.
