This paper proposes the hybrid crypto-system for fast video data encryption of UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) under the LTE(Long-Term Evolution) wireless communication environment. This hybrid crypto-system is consisted of ECC(Elliptic Curve Cryptography) public key algorithm and LEA(Light-weight Encryption Algorithm) symmetric key algorithm. ECC is a faster public key algorithm with the same security strength than RSA(Rivest Shamir Adleman), and Korean standard LEA with the same key size is also a faster symmetric key algorithm than AES(Advances Encryption Standard). We have implemented this hybrid crypto-system using OpenSSL, OpenCV and Socket programs under the Swarm 8-UAV. We have shown the efficient adaptability of this hybrid crypto-system for the real-time swarm UAV through the experiments under the LTE communication environment.

Propose stream cipher Canon that need in Wireless sensor network construction that can secure confidentiality and integrity. Create Canon 128 bits streams key by 128 bits secret key and 128 bits IV, and makes 128 bits cipher text through whitening processing with produced streams key and 128 bits plaintext together. Canon for easy hardware implementation and software running fast algorithm consists only of simple logic operations. In particular, because it does not use S-boxes for non-linear operations, hardware implementation is very easy. Proposed stream cipher Canon shows fast speed test results performed better than AES, Salsa20, and gate number is small than Trivium. Canon purpose of the physical environment is very limited applications, mobile phones, wireless Internet environment, DRM (Digital Right Management), wireless sensor networks, RFID, and use software and hardware implementation easy 128 bits stream ciphers.

Recently, Not only PC environment but also movile environment using XML for translating data. But the mobile delevopment is more limited but need highler security than PC environment Because there is some important service such as mobile banking. In this paper, We development the system to encrypt and decrypt the XML data in order to protect data, And the system is observing the recommendation of the XML Encryption Syntax and Processing by W3C. When encrypting the data, We use the entryption algorithm DES, Triple-DES, AES, SEED and RSA. and consideration of the mobile environment Last, We test the system at WIPI environment.

The standard data link layer encryption provided by CCSDS has a structure that encodes HDLC frame into it using an AES algorithm. However, CCSDS is standard method has a structure in which the receiving side cannot request a re-activation when noise interference occurs over an unstable channel. SES Alarmed has a structure that enables the receiving side to additionally detect errors and perform re-activation requests in an operational structure similar to that of link encryption in CCSDS. The SES Alarmed related paper was intended to identify the optimum range of thresholds and identify data corruption due to channel noise. In this paper, the focus was on reducing the re-activation process if the HDLC frame, excluding the password Sync code, consistently exceeds any threshold levels. The HDLC frame order was changed and the results of using SES Alarmed were proposed and compared.

Recently, there has been a growing market for shared mobility businesses that share 'transport' such as cars and bikes, and many operators offer a variety of services. However, if the fare can not be charged normally because of security vulnerability, the operator can not continue the business. So there should be no security loopholes. However, there is a lack of awareness and research on shared mobility security. In this paper, we analyzed security vulnerabilities exposed in application log of shared bike service in Korea. We could easily obtain the password of the bike lock and the encryption key of the AES-128 algorithm through the log, and confirmed the data generation process for unlocking using software reverse engineering. It is shown that the service can be used without charge with a success rate of 100%. This implies that the importance of security in shared mobility business and new security measures are needed.

In this work, a hardware based cryptographic module for the cyber security of nuclear power plant is developed using a system engineering approach. Nuclear power plants are isolated from the Internet, but as shown in the case of Iran, Man-in-the-middle attacks (MITM) could be a threat to the safety of the nuclear facilities. This FPGA-based module does not have an operating system and it provides protection as a firewall and mitigates the cyber threats. The encryption equipment consists of an encryption module, a decryption module, and interfaces for communication between modules and systems. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)-128, which is formally approved as top level by U.S. National Security Agency for cryptographic algorithms, is adopted. The development of the cyber security module is implemented in two main phases: reverse engineering and re-engineering. In the reverse engineering phase, the cyber security plan and system requirements are analyzed, and the AES algorithm is decomposed into functional units. In the re-engineering phase, we model the logical architecture using Vitech CORE9 software and simulate it with the Enhanced Functional Flow Block Diagram (EFFBD), which confirms the performance improvements of the hardware-based cryptographic module as compared to software based cryptography. Following this, the Hardware description language (HDL) code is developed and tested to verify the integrity of the code. Then, the developed code is implemented on the FPGA and connected to the personal computer through Recommended Standard (RS)-232 communication to perform validation of the developed component. For the future work, the developed FPGA based encryption equipment will be verified and validated in its expected operating environment by connecting it to the Advanced power reactor (APR)-1400 simulator.
Internet of Things (IoT) connects devices with various platforms, computing power, and functions. Due to the diversity of networks and the ubiquity of IoT devices, demands for security and privacy are increasing. Therefore, cryptographic mechanisms must be strong enough to meet these increased requirements, while at the same time effective enough to be implemented in devices with long-range specifications. In this paper, we present the performance and memory limitations of modern cryptographic primitives and schemes for different types of devices that can be used in IoT. In addition, detailed performance evaluation of the performance of the most commonly used encryption algorithms in low-spec devices frequently used in IoT networks is performed. To provide data protection, the binary ring uses encryption asymmetric fully homomorphic encryption and symmetric encryption AES 128-bit. As a result of the experiment, it can be seen that the IoT device had sufficient performance to implement a symmetric encryption, but the performance deteriorated in the asymmetric encryption implementation.
In this paper, we designed a 128-bits block cipher, Circle-g, which has 18-rounds modified Feistel structure and analyzed its secureness by the differential cryptanalysis and linear cryptanalysis. We could have full diffusion effect from the two rounds of the Circle-g. Because of the strong diffusion effect of the F-function of the algorithm, we could get a 9-rounds DC characteristic with probability 2^{-144} and a 12-rounds LC characteristic with probability 2^{-144}. For the Circle-g with 128-bit key, there is no shortcut attack, which is more efficient than the exhaustive key search, for more than 12 rounds of the algorithm.

In this paper, we propose a novel robust blind crypto-watermarking method for medical images security based on hiding of DICOM patient information (patient name, age...) in the medical imaging. The DICOM patient information is encrypted using the AES standard algorithm before its insertion in the medical image. The cover image is divided in blocks of 8x8, in each we insert 1-bit of the encrypted watermark in the hybrid transform domain by applying respectively the 2D-LWT (Lifting wavelet transforms), the 2D-DCT (discrete cosine transforms), and the SVD (singular value decomposition). The scheme is tested by applying various attacks such as noise, filtering and compression. Experimental results show that no visible difference between the watermarked images and the original images and the test against attack shows the good robustness of the proposed algorithm.
In this paper, we propose a novel double-talk detection (DTD) technique based on soft decision in the frequency domain. In the proposed method, global near-end speech presence probability (GNSPP) considering the statistical model assumption and voice activity detection (VAD) decision of the near-end and far-end signal are applied to the DTD algorithm in the frequency domain instead of the traditional hard decision scheme using cross-correlation coefficients. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated by the objective test under various environments, and yields better results compared with the conventional scheme.
