  • In this paper, the solution of time fractional telegraph equation is obtained by using Adomain decomposition method and compared with various other method to determine the efficiency of Adomain decomposition method. These methods are used to obtain the series solutions. Finally, results are analysed by plotting the solutions for various fractional orders.

  • The recent requirement for faster and more frequent solutions has encouraged the consideration of parallel implementations using decentralized processors. Distributed multi-processor environments can potentially greatly increase the available computational capacity and decrease the communication burden, allowing for faster Optimal Power Flow (OPF) solutions. This paper presents a mathematical approach to implementing distributed OPF using the alternating direction method (ADM) to parallelize the OPF. Several IEEE Reliability Test Systems were adopted to demonstrate the proposed algorithm.

  • This Paper compares two mathematical decomposition coordination methods to implementing the distributed optimal Power flow(OPF) using the regional decomposition: the Auxiliary Problem Principle(APP) and the Alternating Direction Method(ADM), a variant of the conventional Augmented Lagrangian approach. A case study was performed with IEEE 50-bus system.

Galangin의 유전독성 억제효과

  • galangin은 1차 발암물질인 MNNG, EMS, 2차 발암물질인 B(a)P 및 DMBA에 의해 유도된 소핵생성에 대하여 억제효과를 나타내었으나 ADM에 대해서는 억제효과를 나타내지 않았다. 한편, S-9 mixture 존재하 benzo(a)pyrene에 의한 자매염색분체교환 빈도에 대해서도 억제효과를 나타내었다. 또한, radiomimetic agent인 BLM 유도 염색체 이상에 대해서도 억제효과를 나타내었다. 이같은 결과를 종합하면 galangin은 DNA alkylation이나 adduct를 형성하는 발암물질에 대하여 억제효과가 큰 것으로 보아 DNA alkylation 및 DNA adduct를 형성을 차단하거나 방향족 탄화수소의 대사 활성화를 방해하여 특정 발암물질들의 염색체 손상작용을 억제해주는 Anticlastogen으로서의 가능성을 보여주었다.

Hatomarubigin의 다제내성극복 활성

  • Hatomarubigins inhibited the growth of various cancer cell lines including multidrug-resistance cells. Hatomarubigins were found to potentiate the colchicine- and vinblastine-induced cytotoxicity against KB-C2 cell, but not the adriamycin-induced cytotoxicity against KB-C2 cells. Hatomarubigins didn't affect the sensitive KB cells. These results suggest that hatomarubigins are specific potentiators of colchicine. Among four hatomarubigins, hatomarubigin A sho- wed the highest synergestic effect on colchine-induced cytotoxicity. Similar effect of hatomarubigin A was found against V79/ADM cells.

  • WDM 네트워크에서는 파장이 어떻게 할당되는지에 따라 다양한 논리적 토폴로지가 형성되기 때문에 파장 할당이 매우 중요한 문제이다. 기존의 파장 할당 알고리즘은 무한한 수의 ADM을 가정하거나 시간 복잡도를 고려하지 않았다. 제안되었던 알고리즘 중 가장 성능이 좋은 RCL 알고리즘의 경우, 불필요한 블로킹을 발생시킨다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 동적인 트래픽 요청에 대해 기존 기법보다 시간 복잡도를 줄이면서 I/O 블로킹과 파장 블로킹을 모두 최소화할 수 있는 파장 할당 알고리즘을 제안한다.

Considerations for patient selection: Prepectoral versus subpectoral implant-based breast reconstruction

  • Background In recent years, breast implants have been frequently placed in the subcutaneous pocket, in the so-called prepectoral approach. We report our technique of prepectoral implant-based breast reconstruction (IBR), as well as its surgical and aesthetic outcomes, in comparison with subpectoral IBR. We also discuss relevant considerations and pitfalls in prepectoral IBR and suggest an algorithm for the selection of patients for IBR based on our experiences. Methods We performed 79 immediate breast reconstructions with a breast implant and an acellular dermal matrix (ADM) sling, of which 47 were subpectoral IBRs and 32 were prepectoral IBRs. Two-stage IBR was performed in 36 cases (20 subpectoral, 16 prepectoral), and direct-to-implant IBR in 43 cases (27 prepectoral, 16 subpectoral). The ADM sling supplemented the inferolateral side of the breast prosthesis in the subpectoral group and covered the entire anterior surface of the breast prosthesis in the prepectoral group. Results The postoperative pain score was much lower in the prepectoral group than in the subpectoral group (1.78 vs. 7.17). The incidence of seroma was higher in the prepectoral group (31.3% vs. 6.4%). Other postoperative complications, such as surgical site infection, flap necrosis, implant failure, and wound dehiscence, occurred at similar rates in both groups. Animation deformities developed in 8.5% of patients in the subpectoral group and rippling deformities were more common in the prepectoral group (21.9% vs. 12.8%). Conclusions The indications for prepectoral IBR include moderately-sized breasts with a thick well-vascularized mastectomy flap and concomitant bilateral breast reconstruction with prophylactic mastectomy.

Fabrication of Ceramic and Ceramic-Polymer Composite Thick Films by Aerosol Deposition Method (Aerosol Deposition Method을 응용한 세라믹 후막과 세라믹 -폴리머 복합체 후막 제작)

  • aerosol deposition method(ADM)은 에어로졸화 된 고상의 원료분말을 노즐을 통해 분사시켜 소결과정을 거치지 않고도 상온에서 고밀도 후막을 제조할 수 있으며, 세라믹, 고분자, 금속 등의 다양한 코팅이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 ADM들 이용하여 세라믹 후막 및 세라믹-폴리머 복합체 후막을 제조하였고 60 mm 노즐을 이용하여 대면적 세라믹 후막 성장도 시도되었다. 세라믹 후막의 원료로는 낮은 유전율과 우수한 품질계수를 갖는 $Al_2O_3$ 분말과 AlN의 분말이 사용되었으며, 세라믹에 비하여 높은 탄성과 1,500~2,000의 품질계수를 갖는 테프론(teflon) 분말이 세라믹과의 복합체 후막성장에 사용되었다. 세라믹-폴리머 복합체의 경우, 폴리머의 함유량에 따라 후막 내부의 결정립 크기가 20 때의 평균 결정립을 갚는 세라믹 후막에 비해 최대 10배 정도까지 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 이에 따라 후막에서의 유전특성 및 전기적인 특성, 열전도도, 투과율이 크게 변화하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 물성 변화에 대한 원인 고찰을 위하여 후막의 미세구조 및 화학조성 등에 다양한 분석이 이루어졌으며, 상온에서 성막되는 후막의 고분자 기판으로의 응용을 위한 최적의 공정조건을 제시하고자 한다.

  • Mining wastes left without any proper treatment are affecting barren or arable lands where are located near and far from source through various pathway Metals are the only hazardous constituents that cannot be destroyed or altered by chemical or thermal methods and must be converted into the most insoluble and harmless form as possible, which have slower leaching rates than the original species, to prevent their reentry into the environment. Three types of chemical additives used in this study to immobilize heavy metals showed high immobilized capacity (q) and the efficiency (k) in the order of CaO, $Na_2$S.$5H_2$O, and $CaCO_3$. In addition, bentonite was considered as a good additive to remedy AM(Acid Mine Drainage) from the results of the physicochemical characteristics and immobilizing capacity. The Freundlich coefficients (n and k) from adsorption isotherm for the heavy metals adsorbed on 50g Benlonite were calculated.
