  • Since the residential load is an AC load and the output of solar cell is a DC Power, the photovoltaic system needs the DC/AC converter to utilize solar cell. In case of driving to interact with utility line, in order to operate at unity power factor, converter must provide the sinusoidal wave current and voltage with same phase of utility line. Since output of solar cell is greatly fluctuated by insolation. it is necessary that the operation of solar cell output in the range of the vicinity of maximum power point. In this paper DC/AC converter is three phase PWM converter with smoothing reactor. And then, feedforward control used to obtain a superior characteristic for current control and digital PLL circuit used to detect the phase of utility line.

  • 최근 개발 및 출시되고 있는 전기자동차(EV) 충전시스템은 3상 AC전원을 입력받아 입력역률개선과 고효율 AC/DC변환을 위한 Interleaved PFC컨버터, Bridgeless PFC컨버터, 3-Level 비엔나정류기(VIENNEA Rectifier) 등의 Topology가 사용되고 있으며, 변환된 DC전압을 입력받아 배터리를 충전하기 위한 절연된 고주파 DC/DC컨버터로 LLC 공진컨버터, 3레벨 컨버터 등이 사용되어 사이즈저감 및 경량화를 꾀하고 있다. 본 논문은 기존 입력역률 개선을 위한 PFC 컨버터와 배터리 충전을 위한 절연형 DC/DC 컨버터 2단으로 구성되어진 충전시스템 대신에 사이즈저감 및 효율개선 그리고 넓은 범위의 출력전압제어(200Vdc~430Vdc)에 대응 할 수 있도록 '단일전력단 3레벨 하이브리드 AC/DC 컨버터'를 제안하였고, 2kW 시제품을 제작하여 실험을 통해 적용 가능성을 입증하였다.

  • A novel two stage soft-switching ac-to-dc convener with power factor correction is proposed. The proposed convener provides zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) condition to main switch of boost pre-regulator without auxiliary switch. Comparing to the conventional two stage approach(ZVS-PWM boost rectifier followed by off-line ZVS dc-dc step down converter), the proposed approach is simple and reducing EMI noise problem. A new simple DC-linked energy feedback circuit provides zero-voltage-switching condition to boost pre-regulator without imposing additional voltage and current stresses and loss of PWM capability. Operational principle, analysis, control of the proposed converter together with the simulation results of 1KW prototype are presented.

  • This paper presents a model and simulation for the korean type multi-propulsion system consisting of a gas turbine driven synchronous alternator coupled to a rectifier and dc-to-dc converter. The simulation modules include turbine system, alternator and rectifier, dc-to-dc converter, power management module. A modular, system level simulation of the propulsion system prototype is presented in order to confirm stability for loads with uncertain input impedances and uncertain control loop speeds.

  • 본 눈문에서는 대전력 및 고전압 전력변환에 적용되는 3-Level NPC AC/DC PWM 컨버터의 출력 DC 전압의 전체적인 특성 향상을 위하여 PI제어와 모델예측제어의 혼합제어 기법을 제안한다. 혼합제어를 위하여 3-Level AC/DC PWM 컨버터를 모델링하고, PSIM 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안한 혼합제어 기법의 제어성능을 검토하였다.

  • AC 및 DC 전력공급구간에서 모두 주행이 가능한 AC/DC 철도차량은 추진제어장치 내부에 컨버터 및 인버터가 모두 구성되어 있다. 따라서 DC 철도차량에 비해서 구성이 복잡하며 각 전력공급 환경에 적합한 인버터 제어 방법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 각 전력공급구간에서 고려되어야 할 사항과 이에 대한 인버터 제어 방법에 대하여 기술하고 서울 1호선 및 4호선 철도차량에 적용한 결과를 분석하였다.

  • To improve the efficiency of PDP TV, it should minimize the power losses transpired during AC-to-DC power conversion and PDP driving process. Generally the input power supply for PDP driving employes a two-stage power factor corrected converter, and it needs additional DC-to-DC converters to supply driving power for reset circuit ed sustain driver, which has high power consumption. However, such a circuit configuration has a difficulty for the PDP market requires low cost. To alleviate this problem, a new circuit composition is presented. It integrates input power supply with reset and sustain driver in a single power stack The input power supply of the proposed circuit has a single-stage structure to minimize power conversion loss, and it directly supplies power to the sustain driver so as to reduce the system size and cost.

  • This paper proposes a new single-stage, single-switch AC/DC converter based on the boost power factor correction (PFC) cell. The converter offers both high power factor and high efficiency. To reduce the dc voltage on the energy storage capacitor, the dc bus voltage feedback method was used. A 100W (5V/20A) prototype was built and tested to show the validity of the proposed converter.

  • This paper presents a neutral point deviation compensating control algorithm applied to a 3-level NPC converter under generalized unbalanced ac input conditions. The neutral point deviation is analyzed with a focus on the current flowing out of or into the neutral point of the dc-link in 3-level NPC converter. The model of neutral point deviation and neutral current are also constructed. The positive and negative sequence components of the pole voltages and ac input currents are employed to accurately explain the behavior of 3-level NPC converter and its impact on neutral point deviation. This paper includes the harmonic characteristic of neutral point current under various imbalance AC operating conditions.

  • This paper proposed a partial resonant switching three-phase high power factor converter using a $PRS^2$(Partial Resonant Soft Switch). The proposed converter has a merit of simple controlled circuit because the input current control DCM(Discontinuous Conduction Mode). And it is improve to input power factor that the snubber capacitor's energy regenerate to the AC source side. This topology is reduced a current/voltage stresses of resonant devices in addition to a partial resonant strategy. The result of simulations with the proposed topology included in this paper.
