Aim: We conducted a prospective study in an Chinese population to detect the association between GSTM, GSTT and GSTP gene polymorphisms and survival of gastric cancer. Methods: A prospective follow-up study with 317 gastric cancer patients was conducted between January 2003 and January 2005. GSTM1, GSTT1 and GSTP1 genotyping was performed using ABI TaqMan Gene Expression assays. Results: Of 317 patients, 5 were lost to follow-up due to migration, while the remaining 302 patients completed the study. The median follow-up time was 34.2 months (range: 2 to 60 months), during which a total of 120 (39.1%) died of gastric cancer. The GSTT1-null genotype showed a significant increased risk of death from gastric cancer, with an HR (95% CI) of 1.59 (1.04-3.58). Moreover, we found individuals carrying null-GSTM1 and null-GSTT1 had a moderate higher risk of death from gastric cancer, with an HR of 1.92 (1.05-3.65). Conclusion: This study reported the carriage of null GSTT1 and null GSTM1 might be linked to the higher death risk from gastric cancer in Chinese population.

Objectives : This study aims to report the effect of Korean medicine treatments on a sequela of operation of hallux valgus. Methods : The patient was treated with Dangkisoosan-gami, Acupuncture treatment including Herbal-Acupuncture and physical therapy. We evaluated treatment effects by circumference of foot and ankle, Edema index score by Body Composition Analyzer, Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Results : After 25 days of treatment, the symptoms such as lower extremity edema, foot pain and ankle pain were improved. Conclusions : In this case, Korean medicine treatments for a sequela of operation of hallux valgus was effective. But further studies are required to confirm the effect of these methods.

The chitinase-producing strain SC081 was isolated from Korean traditional soy sauce and identified as Bacillus atrophaeus based on a phylogenetic analysis of the 16S rDNA sequence and a phenotypic analysis. A gene encoding chitinase from B. atrophaeus SC081 was cloned in Escherichia coli and was named SCChi-1 (GQ360078). The SCChi-1 nucleotide sequences were composed of 1788 base pairs and 596 amino acids, which were 92.6, 89.6, 89.3, and 78.9% identical to those of Bacillus subtilis (ABG57262), Bacillus pumilus (ABI15082), Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (ABO15008), and Bacillus licheniformis (ACF40833), respectively. A recombinant SCChi-1 containing a hexahistidine tag at the amino-terminus was constructed, overexpressed, and purified in E. coli to characterize SCChi-1. $H_6SCChi$-1 revealed a hydrolytic band on zymograms containing 0.1% glycol chitin and showed the highest lytic activity on colloidal chitin and acidic chitosan. The optimal temperature and pH for chitinolytic activity were $50^{\circ}C$ and pH 8.0, respectively.

The objective of the study was to establish routine parentage testing system in Beagle dogs using 22 ISAG (International Society for Animal Genetics) canine microsatellite markers (2005). Blood collections were obtained from a mother dog, 4 candidate father dogs and 3 offspring (n = 8). Genomic DNA samples were extracted from 8 Beagle dogs blood for PCR analysis. PCR products for the allele were analyzed by ABI 3130 DNA Sequencer and GeneScan (Ver 3.0) analysis and Genotyper (Ver. 2.1) software. The genetic relationship of mother and 3 offspring as well as one father dog among 4 candidate father dogs was confirmed by microsatellite allele analysis. The results of locus for amelogenin, which was designed for sexing, were matching with real gender among 8 Beagle dogs (female; 217/217 homozygosity, male; 179/217 heterozygosity). Twenty two ISAG microsatellite markers are useful the parentage test of Beagle dogs. In addition, amelogenin is an applicable marker to detecting real sex in dogs.

Streptococcus equi subsp. zooepidemicus (S. zooepidemicus) is a pathogen of a variety of infections in horse. We studied biochemical and molecular characteristics of S. zooepidemicus isolated from the genital tract of Thoroughbred mares in Korea. Seventy-nine isolates were identified as S. zooepidemicus by biochemical and PCR method from 374 horses. The biochemical characteristics of S. zooepidemicus isolates were positive reaction of lactose and sorbitol. However, S. zooepidemicus isoltes were negative reaction of inulin, mannitol, raffinose, trehalose, aesculin hydrolysis, growth in 6.5% NaCl and variable reaction of maltose. Epidemiological investigations of S. zooepidemicus isolates were performed by fragment analysis of SzP (S. zooepidemicus protective protein) gene, CNE (collagen binding protein) gene and ISR (16s rRNA intergenic spacer region) gene using ABI Prism $3,130{\times}1$ Genetic Analyzer System. All isolates were shown single amplification size of 906 bp in CNE gene, but SzP and ISR gene were shown variable patterns of fragment size. The characteristics of S. zooepidemicus investigated in this study will be very useful for the prevention of infection and the studies of epidemiologic characteristics of S. zooepidemicus, causing the severe economic losses due to reproductive failures.

We performed this study to determine the parentage verification of putative dogs. A total of 7 samples (4 Labrador Retriever dog and 3 Poongsan dog) were genotyped by using 12 international markers (PEZ1, PEZ5, PEZ8, PEZ10, PEZ11, PEZ12, PEZ17, PEZ20, PEZ21, FHC2010, FHC2054, FHC2079). This methods consisted of multiplexing PCR procedures, and it showed reasonable amplification of all PCR products. Genotyping was performed with an ABI 310 genetic analyzer. Labrador Retriever Pup I and Pup II were included according to principles of Mendelian genetics in all loci, while Poongsan Pup III was excluded with markers PEZ1 (106/118), PEZ10 (276/300), and FHC2010 (228/232). These results suggest that the present DNA typing is so useful for parentage verification of these two breeds.

This study was conducted to determine the factors affecting employees' engagement in Information Technology (IT) enterprises in Vietnam. Quantitative method was used to test the research model. Research data is collected through a survey of 205 employees working in Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam IT enterprises. The research results show that all seven factors affecting OC are ability, remuneration, training/development, challenging work, teamwork relationship, company policy, and culture, and work environment all make sense. In which, WOE, TER, REM factors are the three most influential factors, while company CPC, T&D, CHW, ABI have a lower impact. The proposed management implications include building, providing, ensuring a good working environment for employees, building/developing relationships within the company, having a policy of salary, bonus, support, and incentives. In addition, appropriate, competitive remuneration, adequate incentives, and rewards for the efforts that the employee has made, training and development of skills and soft skills suitable for each type of work, development orientations for employees, as well as frequent rotation of positions and jobs, in addition to improving employees' capacity, also avoid causing boredom and loss of motivation at work, thereby increasing OC of employees in IT enterprises in Vietnam.

Purpose: This study points out that psychological marketing practice can align to narcissism among women through showing urgency and scarcity. While women are competitive, jealous, and attention seeking, marketers can offer limited-time offers to increase the urge of customers to purchase. Research design, data, and methodology: To conduct a content analysis, the present author obtained data from various databases such as ABI/INFORM, EBSCO/ EBSCO, ProQuest, and EBSCO. Ultimately, this study investigated both latent and manifest themes of narcissism and psychological marketing concepts to find solutions that leaders can use to initiate change in organizations. Results: The current study suggests that narcissistic women insist on having the best things but still have the inability to acknowledge other people's feelings. Therefore, psychological marketing can utilize such traits to ensure that the quality of their commodities matches their promises during marketing and that their customer's needs are not infringed at the expense of another customer's needs Conclusions: One of the implications of narcissism in marketing provides is that brands can easily gravitate towards litigations especially amidst unhealthy competitions. In the process of getting customers to acknowledge another brand as a better option, the competition may stir corporate conflict.

The intelligent transportation system has made a huge leap in the level of human services, which has had a positive impact on the quality of life of users. On the other hand, these services are becoming a new source of risk due to the use of data collected from vehicles, on which intelligent systems rely to create automatic contextual adaptation. Most of the popular privacy protection methods, such as Dummy and obfuscation, cannot be used with many services because of their impact on the accuracy of the service provided itself, they depend on changing the number of vehicles or their physical locations. This research presents a new approach based on the shuffling Nicknames of vehicles. It fully maintains the quality of the service and prevents tracking users permanently, penetrating their privacy, revealing their whereabouts, or discovering additional details about the nature of their behavior and movements. Our approach is based on creating a central Nicknames Pool in the cloud as well as distributed subpools in fog nodes to avoid intelligent delays and overloading of the central architecture. Finally, we will prove by simulation and discussion by examples the superiority of the proposed approach and its ability to adapt to new services and provide an effective level of protection. In the comparison, we will rely on the wellknown privacy criteria: Entropy, Ubiquity, and Performance.

The study investigates the effect of trade openness on the economic growth of agricultural countries. The information of export, import, gross domestic product (GDP), Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF), and population of 72 agrarian nations generated by the World Bank from 2011 until 2020 is used for data examination. Then, before panel data analysis, a preferred model is chosen from among common-effects, fixed-effects, and random effects. The best model turns out to be a fixed-effect model. The result reports that from 2011 to 2020; 16 out of 72 nations have succeeded in experiencing positive economic growth, the value of GFCF was US$ 2,859.04 billion, and later grew by 19 percent to US$ 3,393.73 billion, the population tends to increase continuously year by year, and 2 out of 72 countries experienced export plus import exceed their GDP. Moreover, trade openness is positively associated with economic growth, with a coefficient of 3.81. Besides that, an increase in GFCF may boost economic growth by approximately 3.32 percent. On the contrary, one percent additional population significantly delivers around 25.46 percent negative economic growth. To sum up, the higher intensity of products or services sold and bought abroad may enhance the economic performance.
