La signification du dépassement de soi dans le Thomisme (토미즘의 인간적 행위에서 '자기초월'의 의미)

  • Le but de notre recherche est $d^{\prime}{\acute{e}}clairer$ la nature du $d{\acute{e}}passement$ de soi aux actes humaines dnas le Thomisme. Dans le Thomisme la nature humaine qui a la raison et la $volont{\acute{e}}$ a une $intentionnalit{\acute{e}}$ ver la fin ultime. De sorte que les actes humaines qui $corr{\grave{e}}spondent$ cette nature humaine a un $caract{\grave{e}}re$ du $d{\acute{e}}passement$ de soi visant toujours plus que le $pr{\acute{e}}sent$. Le fondement de cet acte du $d{\acute{e}}passement$ de soi est $l^{\prime}{\hat{a}}me$ rationelle qui est la forme substantielle de l'homme et de soi subsistante. Chez st. Thomas ce $caract{\grave{e}}re$ du $d{\acute{e}}passement$ a trois ${\acute{e}}taps$ distinctes : (1)le $d{\acute{e}}passement$ dans l'ordre du $progr{\grave{e}}s$ naturel (2)le $d{\acute{e}}passement$ de soi dans l'ordre morale (3)le $d{\acute{e}}passement$ de soi dans l'ordre de la religion. Le $d{\acute{e}}passement$ dans l'ordre du $progr{\grave{e}}s$ naturel apparaît d'abord au $caract{\grave{e}}re$ de $l^{\prime}{\hat{a}}me$ rationelle. St. Thomas $d{\acute{e}}finit$ les vertus rationelles comme $^{\prime}pl{\acute{e}}nitude$ dans le $f{\acute{e}}blesse$, parce qu'il $consid{\grave{e}}re$ la vertu rationelle comme $finalit{\acute{e}}$ des $facult{\acute{e}}s$ du sens $ext{\acute{e}}rieur$. L'homme par le sens $ext{\acute{e}}rieur$ reçoit des $esp{\grave{e}}ces$ sensibles(especies sensibilis), et $poss{\grave{e}}de$ les images. Puis cette images sensible devenant la $r{\acute{e}}alit{\acute{e}}$ spirituelle sous forme du $m{\acute{e}}moire$ et du souvenir, devient aussi la partie de son existence. Donc chez st. Thomas la vertue rationnelle n'est pas simplement un $facult{\acute{e}}$ $sp{\acute{e}}culative$, mais elle est dans l'ordre du devenir et du $pl{\acute{e}}nitude$. A cette raison st. Thomas compare la raison(ratio) comme $g{\acute{e}}n{\acute{e}}ration$(generatio) et l'intelleigence(intellectus) comme ${\hat{e}}tre$(esse). C'est-${\grave{a}}$-dire la raison $d{\acute{e}}passe$ le sensible et l'intelligence $d{\acute{e}}passe$ la raison. Le $d{\acute{e}}passement$ de soi dans l'ordre morale $li{\acute{e}}$ au $progr{\grave{e}}s$ de la conscience. Chez st. Thomas la perception de l'objet $ext{\acute{e}}rieur$ ayant pour but d'avoir conscience de soi, se perfectionne ${\grave{a}}$ ceci. D'avoir conscience de soi signifie d'avoir $l^{\prime}identit{\acute{e}}$ de soi, et de-$l{\grave{a}}$ apparaît l'acte moral en tnat qu'acte $sp{\acute{e}}cifique$ humain. La raison pour laquelle la vie morale elle-$m{\hat{e}}me$ a un $caract{\grave{e}}$ du $d{\acute{e}}passement$, c'est que l'acte humaine qui corresfonde ${\grave{a}}$ $l^{\prime}identit{\acute{e}}$ du soi est une vie qui vise toujours plus que le $pr{\acute{e}}sent$ ou $l^{\prime}id{\acute{e}}al$. Quant au problem du $d{\acute{e}}passement$ dans l'ordre de la religion, chez st. Thomas en raison de $l^{\prime}affinit{\acute{e}}$ entre Dieu et l'homme, $o{\grave{u}}$ il y a des vertues infuses(virtutes infusas), il y a une sorte du $d{\acute{e}}passement$ religieux. Car ces vertues infuses signifie la communication entre Dieu(${\hat{E}}tre$ absolu) et l'homme(${\hat{e}}tre$ fine) et cela signifie le $d{\acute{e}}passement$ de l'humain vers le divin. Cette $id{\acute{e}}e$ thomiste permet de penser que $o{\grave{u}}$ il y a un $d{\acute{e}}passement$ de soi dans la vie religuse d'une personne, il y a une intervention $r{\acute{e}}elle$ de la providence divine. Cette $pens{\acute{e}}e$ thomiste sera alors un $caract{\grave{e}}$ $r{\acute{e}}aliste$ face ${\grave{a}}$ la $pens{\acute{e}}e$ $id{\acute{e}}aliste$ qui n'admette que le $d{\acute{e}}passement$ absolu comme $d{\acute{e}}passement$ religieux.

Implications of Growth Arrest Induced by Overproduction of RraB in Escherichia coli (RraB의 발현에 따른 대장균의 성장 저해의 원인 규명)

  • RNase E plays a major role in the degradation and processing of a large number of RNA transcripts in Escherichia coli and forms the core component of the degradosome, a large protein complex involved in RNA metabolism. RraA and RraB are recently discovered protein inhibitors of RNase E and are evolutionarily conserved. In this study, we observed that, unlike RraA, overexpression of RraB did not rescue growth arrest of E. coli cells overexpressing RNase E. To examine whether this phenomenon stems from differential inhibitory effects of RraA and RraB on RNase E substrates, we analyzed three in vivo RNase E substrates. The results showed that RraA inhibited RNase E activity more efficiently than RraB on the degradation of RNA I, which controls the copy number of ColE1-type plasmid, and rpsO mRNA encoding ribosomal protein S15, while RraB was unable to inhibit the processing of pM1 RNA, a precursor of the RNA component of RNase P, by RNase E. Our results imply that RraB inhibits RNase E activity in a more substrate-dependent manner than RraA and this property of RraB may explain why overexpression of RraB could not rescue cells overexpressing RNase E from growth arrest.

  • Les avis des philosophes sur la mort sont $diff{\acute{e}}rentes$ selon leurs visions du monde. Certains essaient de surmonter la peur sur la mort, en $n{\acute{e}}gligeant$ la mort, et certains essaient de vivre le vraie vie par la $m{\acute{e}}ditation$ de la mort. Chez Kierkegaard la notion de la mort se $pr{\acute{e}}sente$ comme key-world $tr{\grave{e}}s$ important, et cela signifie qu'il parle par la mort une vie $s{\acute{e}}rieuse$ et vraie. Pour Kierkegaard la mort signifie d'abord la mort de la vie mondaine ou la $n{\acute{e}}gation$ de soi, cela est en faveur de sa conception de la nature humaine $o{\grave{u}}$ l'homme est fondamentalement un ${\hat{e}}tre$ $probl{\grave{e}}matique$ et ${\grave{a}}$ la fois ceuli qui a un rapport avec $l^{\prime}{\acute{e}}ternel$. Le $d{\acute{e}}sespoir$ de l'homme sur la vie $pr{\acute{e}}sente$ peut devenir 'la maladie qui entraîne la mort' c'est-${\grave{a}}$-dire la mort spirituelle, mais il peut donner aussi une chemin par laquelle l'homme se dirige en tant qu'individu vers l'Absolu. Chez lui ${\hat{e}}tre$ $s{\acute{e}}rieux$ signifie devenir existentiellement par la $n{\acute{e}}gation$ de soi. Et l'absence de la $sinc{\acute{e}}rit{\acute{e}}$ signifie l'absence de soi en tnat $qu^{\prime}{\hat{e}}tre$ spirituel. Ainsi la $pens{\acute{e}}e$ $s{\acute{e}}rieuse$ sur la mort $n^{\prime}{\acute{e}}tant$ autre chose que de penser la mort comme la partie de $l^{\prime}{\hat{e}}tre$ $pr{\acute{e}}sent$, elle devient la source ${\acute{e}}nergique$ qui permet de vivre pleinement le $pr{\acute{e}}sent$ comme $r{\acute{e}}alit{\acute{e}}$ $li{\acute{e}}$ ${\acute{a}}$ $l^{\prime}{\acute{e}}ternit{\acute{e}}$. Sa $pens{\acute{e}}e$ $s{\acute{e}}rieuse$ sur la mort permet d'avoir une conviction religieuse par laquelle l'homme peut penser la mort corporelle comme aventure $li{\acute{e}}e$ ${\grave{a}}$ $l^{\prime}{\acute{e}}ternit{\acute{e}}$ et par laquelle l'homme peut penser aussi la vie $apr{\grave{e}}s$ la mort comme vraie vie que les justes avaient $d{\acute{e}}sir{\acute{e}}s$. Cette $pens{\acute{e}}e$ de Kierkegaard sur la mort signifie le sens $m{\acute{e}}taphysique$ sur la mort au sens $o{\grave{u}}$ elle est une $r{\acute{e}}alit{\acute{e}}$ $v{\acute{e}}cue$, et aussi la $pens{\acute{e}}e$ qui ${\acute{e}}claircit$ la sagesse des philosophes antiques ${\grave{a}}$ la perspective $chr{\acute{e}}tienne$ qui dit philosopher, c'est apprendre ${\grave{a}}$ mourir.

Le bilan synthetique de la typagraphie careenne pendant la dynastie de Chason (조선조 활자주조 및 문헌간행의 종합적 평가)

  • On admet Jusqu'ici que le XVe siecle est une $\acute{e}poque$ phare de l'histoire de l'imprimerie avec l'apparition de la typographie en Orient et en Occident, $c'est-\acute{a}-dire$ en $Cor\acute{e}e$ sur le Rhim. Cependant, $l'\acute{e}poque$ de l'invention typographique en $Cor\acute{e}e$ doit $\hat{e}tre$ $devanc\acute{e}e$ encore d'un ou deux siecle. Outre cette question, il est $\acute{a}$ noter ici que les caracteres mobiles $m\acute{e}talliques$ Kyemi, fondus en 1403, ont $jou\acute{e}$ un $r\hat{o}le$ $tr\acute{e}s$ important dans l'histoire de la typographie mondiale et que les $caract\acute{e}res$ kabin qui leur $succ\acute{e}derent$ en 1434 menerent la typographie $cor\acute{e}enne$ a son $apog\acute{e}e$. Or, les recherches $cor\acute{e}ennes$ se satifait de la primaute de l'invention en Coree des caracteres mobiles metalliques, mais n'adoptent pas une attitude suffisament critique. Aussi, l'auteur a-toil voulu s'interroger sur la veritable valeur de la typographie de la dynastie de Choson tant au point de vue de l'histoire de l'imprimerie mondiale. En premier lieu, on etudie, comme une chronique, les caracteres mobiles metalliques importants tout au long de la dynastie de Choson sans donner une interpretation nouvelle. C'est dans deux derniers, qu'on essaie de developper ses idees sur la typographie en Coree notamment la question technologique qui devrait etre le fond des recherches. Aussi, on y etudie, la technique de la typographie ancienne en Coree interpretee selon une methode scientifique et moderne et, enfin, le bilan synthetique en cherchant les raisons qui freinerent son developpement en Coree malgre la performance de ses debuts. A l'issue de ces recherches, on ne peut s'empecher d'eprouver une certaine insatisfaction a cause de l'ambiguite des explications que l'on trouve dans des documents fondamentaux. Avec ce difficulte on a voulu, au moins, exposer des points discutatables qui devraient etre les recherches a futur.

Taxonomic status of three taxa of Elsholtzia (E. hallasanensis, E. springia, and E. splendens var. fasciflora) (Lamiaceae) based on molecular data

  • Elsholtzia hallasanensis, E. springia, and E. splendens var. fasciflora (Lamiaceae) were reported recently as new species or new varieties of E. splendens according to their morphological characteristics. To reappraise the taxonomic status of these additional taxa and to determine the relationships between all Korean Elsholtzia taxa except E. saxatilis, which is distributed in North Korea, molecular studies based on the nrDNA (ITS) and cpDNA (rpl16, and trnH-psbA) sequences of seven taxa of Elsholtzia and one outgroup were carried out. The molecular data support that E. angustifolia and E. minima are distinct species from E. splendens and E. ciliata, respectively, because they have several private marker genes and show monophyly. The molecular data also support that E. splendens has a very close taxonomic relationship with both E. hallasanensis and E. springia. We found that E. splendens var. fasciflora, with multiple inflorescence, was based on several private marker genes and on the monophyly of its trees, suggesting that it can be considered as a variety. Elsholtzia springia, with the same sequences and the same morphological characteristics with E. hallasanensis after transplanting, should be treated as a synonym of E. hallasanensis. Moreover, we consider the taxonomic status of E. hallasanensis as E. splendens var. hallasanensis (Y. Lee) N.S. Lee & C.S. Lee, stat. nov.

Structural Characterization of the Regulatory Site in virE Promoter of Agrobacterium tumefaciens pTiA6 Plasmid (Agrobacterium tumefaciens pTiA6 플라스미드의 virE 프로모터내 조절부위의 구조적 특성)

  • To elucidate the regulatory mechanism of virE operon in Agrobacterium tumefaciens pTiA6 plasmid at the molecular level, the regulatory site of virE promoter was determined using truncated virE recombinant plasmids obtained by 5' deletion analysis of virE promoter. The size of deleted nucleotides of p]S201, a functional recombinant plasmid, was found to be about 130 nucleotides from 5'-end of virE promoter. On the other hand the size of deleted nucleotides of p]S301, nonfunctional recombinant plasmid, was identified 263 nucleotides by DNA sequencing. Hence it was thought that the essential site of virE promoter was located between about 130th nucleotide and 263th nucleotide. Since the inverted repeat sequence (AACTTTGCGCTATAGGCAMGTT) is included in this essential site of virE promoter, it could be the first recognition site of the RNA polymerase in virE promoter.omoter.

Analysis of User Preferences for Management and Search Features in E-book Reader Libraries in Smartphone Environments

  • There has been a significant paradigm shift in the book industry from print to digital, with the increased use of electronic books (e-books) on e-book readers. The major online booksellers and publishers are devoting their energies to the growth of the e-book market, resulting in an upward spiral in e-book usage, and a resultant increase in the number of downloaded e-books in an e-book reader library. However, there are comparatively few features for e-book management and search in most e-book reader libraries, particularly in smartphone environments. In addition, the user interfaces of e-book management in e-book readers are highly diverse, which has led to major usability issues. In this paper, we analyze user preferences for e-book management and search in the libraries of the five most commonly used e-readers for the Android smartphone platform via a questionnaire survey. Then, we suggest ideal alternatives in addition to user-friendly features based on user preferences for managing e-book libraries, to allow users to more easily browse collections, thereby enhancing the usability of e-book readers.

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the possibility of whether B2B e-marketplaces continue to grow. There are numerous barriers to the growth of e-marketplace, but certain key factors can push e-marketplaces beyond these obstacles. In the stage of generating traffic, it is essential to find a vertical area to attract buyers and sellers which can generate B2B transaction through e-marketplace. Generating traffic is possible only for e-marketplaces established by those who have vertical knowledges and strong off-line relationship in the vertical areas. In the stage of concentrating traffic, more attention should be given to reach critical mass and to increase transaction through e-marketplace. Currently, there seems to be a tendency that having major buyers as members of a e-marketplace is an true factor for the successful e-marketplace. Finally, to attain the locking traffic, e-marketplace needs to have the ability to generate revenue through B2B transaction. What we have learn from this study is that having the software-technology is not a sufficient condition to successfully operate B2B e-marketplace. It is important for e-marketplace to attract major players in order to increase B2B transaction, and also to make profit by them.

Study of the Kinetics and Mechanisms of Alkoxy Radical Reactions in the Gas Phase (I). Arrhenius Parameters for t-Butoxy Radical Reactions with Isobutane and Cyclohexane

  • The relative Arrhenius parameters for t-butoxy radical decomposition (log $A_d$, $E_d$) and hydrogen abstraction of t-butoxy radical from hydrogen donor (log $A_d$, $E_d$) by competitive method were obtained as follows: for cyclohexane; log $A_a/A_d$ = -4.17 mole/l and $E_d-E_a$ = 9.01 kcal/mole, for isobutane; log $A_a/A_d$ = -5.70 mole/l and $E_e-E_a$= 11.0 kcal/mole. From the reported Arrhenius parameters for t-Butoxy radical decomposition reactions the parameters for t-Butoxy radical reactions with isobutane and cyclohexane are estimated to be log $A(l/mol{\cdot}sec)$ = 8.4, $E_a$ = 4.3 kcal/mol and $log A (l/mol{\cdot}sec)= 9.9,\;E_a$ = 6.3 kcal/mol, respectively.

Relationship Between MC1R and ASIP Genotypes and Basic Coat Colors in Jeju Horses (제주마의 기본모색과 MC1R과 ASIP 유전자형 조합의 상관관계)

  • This study was undertaken to reveal the relationship between genetic variations and the basic coat color classification system in Jeju horses. Genetic variations of the melanocortinreceptor 1 (MC1R) and agouti signaling protein (ASIP) genes were investigated using pyrosequencing technique. A nucleotide substitution mutation for MC1R g.901C>T and an ASIP 11-bp deletion mutation were screened. Black horses had MC1R $E^+$/- ($E^+/E^+$ or $E^+/E^e$) and ASIP $A^a/A^a$ genotypes. In contrast, chestnut horse genotypes were MC1R $E^e/E^e$ and ASIP -/-. Thus, black and bay horses have at least one dominant MC1R allele, $E^+$, whereas chestnut horses have homozygous recessive alleles $E^e/E^e$. This suggests that the MC1R genotypes determine chestnut or black/bay coat color, regardless of the genotype distribution of ASIP. In addition, the horses with MC1R $E^+$/- and a dominant ASIP $A^A$/- allele showed bay coat color, but not black, suggesting that the ASIP $A^A$ allele represses black coat color development in the hairs of the body, but not in the mane and all four legs. Pedigree analysis showed a consistent relationship between the genotype distribution of the MC1R and ASIP genes and basic coat color patterns, even in the $F_1$ progeny. The results of this study revealed the relationship between the coat color phenotype and genetic background and suggested that useful information may be provided for molecular breeding of Jeju horses.
