The purpose of this study is to find out how the otherness philosophy reveals itself in the principle of F.O.A construction space creation. The traditional philosophy of totality is self-centered and thoughts are based on the subject. It couldn't escape from the world associated with the self, and has subordinated the other to the main body. But the philosophy of otherness transcends the subject, to the open, creative way of thinking which acknowledges deconstruction, decentralization, and non-hierarchy. This is very similar to contemporary architecture, which pursuits change, and also to the current state of society. In construction by the construction group F.O.A, which is doing notable activity this generation, there is an attempt to transcend the fixed subject which is seen in the otherness discussion, and realize recategorization by overcoming the boundaries of subject and object. First, by the realization of landscape architecture using a topographical folding technique, boundaries of the subject and object are demolished in the relationship of the landscape construction, and recategorization. Second, by breaking up the meaning of the surface which is a visual and physical boundary for both the internal and external, recategorization is being done. Third, by making the boundary between the interior and exterior indistinct, cognitive threshold is dissolved, and the relationship between the subject and object is being recategorization. In conclusion, we can see that the many recategorization phenomenons that are happening in the F.O.A construction show the otherness that escapes from the conventional and stationary relationship, and recognizes each other at the same time, forming new relationships.
This study was investigated the radical scavenging effect and the protective activity of caffeic acid (CA) against oxidative stress. CA showed strong 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH) and hydroxyl radical ( OH) scavenging activity, showing 42.00% and 87.22% at 5 μM concentration of DPPH and ·OH scavenging activity, respectively. Furthermore, we studied protective activity of CA from amyloid beta (A${\beta}$25-35) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induced neuronal cell damage and neuronal inflammation using C6 glial cells. The treatment of A${\beta}$25-35 to C6 glial cell showed declines in cell viability and high generation levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS). However, the treatment of CA increased cell viability. The treatment of 5 ${{\mu}M}$ CA led to the elevation of cell viability from 59.28% to 81.22%. In addition, the production of ROS decreased cellular levels of ROS by the treatment of CA. The treatment of LPS to C6 glial cells increased significant elevation of nitric oxide (NO) production, while CA decreased NO production significantly. The production of NO increased by the treatment of LPS to 131.08%, while CA at the concentration of 1 ${{\mu}M}$ declined the NO production to 104.86%. The present study indicated thatCA attenuated A${\beta}$25-35-induced neuronal oxidative stress and inflammation by LPS, suggesting as a promising agent for the neurodegenerative diseases.

Recently, development and application of condition monitoring and diagnostic system for improvement of durability and reliability and reduction of operating cost is generalized in the aircraft propulsion system. Expecially, for reliable operation of the high altitude and a long time and condition monitoring system to identify faults and degradations of its propulsion system should be needed. This work proposed a GUI-based On-line condition monitoring program using LabVIEW by PT6A-67 turboprop engine. The proposed on-line condition program can monitor the real engine performance as well as the trend through precise comparison between performance results calculated by the base performance simulation program and measuring engine performance signals. In the development phase of this monitoring system, a signal generation module is proposed to evaluate the proposed on-line monitoring system.

A turbopump real-propellant test facility(TPTF) is to verify the performance of a turbopump unit(TPU) based on liquid oxygen and kerosene. One of the most important sub-facilities is a hot-gas generation system which makes the driving force of the TPU with an alcohol burner. The alcohol burner generates the required flow rates and temperature at the facility using high pressure air and ethanol. In the study, the verification tests of the alcohol burner which was manufactured entirely with domestic technology were performed and fabrication technique and operation skill for the burner could be obtained ahead of the construction of the facility. Two burners will be operated simultaneously for the real-propellant test of 75tf class turbopump and satisfy the power requirement from the turbine of the TPU.

Interest in renewable energy is increasing for eco-friendly use of energy, and fuel cells are being used in various ways such as houses and buildings as power generation methods that have low emissions such as $NO_X$ and $CO_2$. As the supply of fuel cells expands, more and more boilers are installed in the existing buildings, but safety management is not being performed properly. Therefore, in this study, a prior study was conducted on the status of fuel cell-boiler complex installation and related criteria, and the risk factors were analyzed according to the installation environment and structure. Based on these standards, the safety performance of the fuel cell-boiler combined installation is assessed by conducting a demonstration using the starting product of the simulated operation to derive the installation criteria (proposal) for the fuel cell-boiler combined installation. The installation criteria (proposal) include the construction and connection method of the piping according to the fuel cell-boiler complex installation.
Eighty-nine different types of commercially salt-fermented fishery products comprising various raw materials were analyzed for total aerobic bacteria, number of coliform bacteria, fecal coliform, and Escherichia coli. The food-poisoning bacterial content of the samples was investigated using next-generation sequencing. The mean mass of total aerobic bacteria in Jeotgal was 6-1.8×109 CFU/g, and that in Aekjeot and Sikhae was 4-2.2×105 CFU/mL and 1.9×105-8.4×108 CFU/g, respectively. Coliform bacteria were detected in 9 (28.1%) of 32 Jeotgal samples; 15 (46.8%) of 32 seasonal Jeotgal samples; and in 5 (55.5%) of 9 Sikhae samples. Fecal coliform and E. coli were not detected in 86 of the 89 samples. Yersinia enterocolitica was detected only in Galchi jeot (salt-fermented hairtail) (1 type) and not in other Jeotgal samples. These results contribute to our knowledge regarding the bacterial stability of salt-fermented fishery products.
Purpose: We studied the pathogens and trends in antibiotic sensitivity pattern in children with urinary tract infection (UTI) over 8 years in order to evaluate adequate treatment. Methods: We performed a retrospective review of medical records of children with UTI from January 2009 to December 2016 in Daegu Fatima Hospital. Uropathogens and antibiotic sensitivity patterns were selected. Only 1 bacterial species with a colony count of ${\geq}105CFU/mL$ was considered a positive result. We compared 2 periods group (A: 2009~2012, B: 2013~2016) to investigate trends of antibiotic sensitivity pattern. Results: During the 8 year period, 589 cases are identified (E. coli was cultured in 509 cases, 86.4%). Among all patients, this study investigated the antibiotic sensitivity of E. coli. Antimicrobial susceptibility to ampicillin was steadily low for both periods (A: 32.6%, B: 40.1%, P=0.125), and to amikacin was consistently high for both periods (A: 99.4%, B: 99.3%, P=1.000). Antibiotic sensitivity to third-generation cephalosporin decreased from period A to B (A: 91.7%, B: 75.5%, P=0.000). Antibiotic sensitivity to quinolone significantly decreased from A to B (A: 88.4%, B: 78.2%, P=0.003). The prevalence of extended-spectrum ${\beta}$-lactamase-producing E. coli increased from period A to B (A: 6.1%, B: 17.1%, P=0.000). Conclusion: This study showed that conventional antibiotic therapy for the treatment of pediatric UTI needs to be reevaluated. A careful choice of antibiotic is required due to the change in antibiotic sensitivity and the emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

This study aims to gain insight through understanding the Metaverse, which has recently become a hot topic. The study utilizes the methods of case study and News Bigdata Analysis Services. The Metaverse can be defined as a world with no separation between the virtual and real worlds. Currently, the Metaverse is dominated mainly by the MZ generation, but just like smartphones have quickly entered our lives, the Metaverse will soon, too, become a part of our lives. To follow up on this change, all companies, including global companies, are going after the Metaverse. Today, the Metaverse is successfully being used in all types of fields, including gaming, performing arts, business, etc., and its essential technologies include VR/AR/MR/XR and AI. This study intends to help understand the Metaverse through a case analysis of Zepeto, which has 200 million users worldwide. On Zepeto, users can decorate their own avatars, hang out with friends, go to art galleries and performances, and create and sell items. Of these users, 90% are from outside of South Korea, and 80% are teenagers. With most of the users being underage, many legal and social problems also follow. Nevertheless, who will be the first to conquer the new world of the Metaverse will continue to be a big issue. This study also analyzes domestic news articles about the Metaverse by utilizing the BigKinds system. Starting in 1996, the number of articles about the Metaverse each year remains single digit, until in 2020 when the number sharply rises to 86 news. As of June 2021, there are 1,663 articles on the Metaverse. This study suggests that the Metaverse should now be carefully examined and closely followed.

Landfilling is the most commonly adopted method for a large quantity of waste disposal. But, the main concern related to landfills is the generation of leachate. The leachate is high strength wastewater that is usually characterized by the presence of high molecular recalcitrant organics. Several conventional methods are adopted for leachate treatment. However, these methods are only suitable for young leachate, having high biodegradability and low toxicity levels. The mature and stabilized leachate needs advanced technologies for its effective treatment. Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) are very suitable for such complex wastewater treatment as reported in the literature. After going through the literature survey, it can be concluded that Fenton-based approaches are effective for the treatment of various high/low strength wastewaters treatment. The applications of the Fenton-based approaches are widely adopted and well recognized due to their simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and reliability for the reduction of high chemical oxygen demand (COD) as reported in several studies. Besides, the process is relatively economical due to fewer chemical, non-sophisticated instruments, and low energy requirements. In this review, the conventional and advanced Fenton's approaches are explained with their detailed reaction mechanisms and applications for landfill leachate treatment. The effect of influencing factors like pH, the dosage of chemicals, nature of reaction matrix, and reagent ratio on the treatment efficiencies are also emphasized. Furthermore, the discussion regarding the reduction of chemical oxygen demand (COD) and color, increase in biodegradability, removal of humic acids from leachate, combined processes, and the pre/post-treatment options are highlighted. The scope of future studies is summarized to attain sustainable solutions for restrictions associated with these methods for effective leachate treatment.

Due to muddy water from the highland fields upstream of Soyangho Lake, the Mandae, Gaa, and Jawoon have been redesignated as NPS management areas. This study aims to evaluate the adequacy and supplementation points of the implementation plan by analyzing the operation status of muddy water generation and reduction facilities through on-site investigations by NPS management area to achieve the effective nonpoint pollution reduction goal in the implementation of the implementation plan established in 2020. The SS load calculated based on the survey results from July to October 2019 from 2017 showed a decreasen in 2019 compared to 2017. Both and the Jawoon were analyzed to have decreased. However, the amount of precipitation also decreased by about 27%, so it was judged that the effect of the reduction project was not significant. As a result of the detailed investigation of abatement facilities, about 86% of the 793 facilities installed in the management area were evaluated as 'good'. As a result of a detailed investigation by subwatersheds, subwatersheds 105 and 106 in the Mandae were analyzed as apprehensive subwatersheds. appeared to fall. In addition, it was analyzed that the effect of reducing muddy water in the Mandae district was insufficient due to the high ratio of leased farmers, lack of efforts to reduce turbid water in leased farmland, conversion to annual crops, and neglect of bare land. In the case of Gaa district, although the abatement facilities are concentrated in the upstream, muddy water was also found to be severe.
