고체 전해질용 $CuO-P_2O_5-V_2O_5$ 유리의 결정화와 전기 전도도 (Crystallization and Electrical properties of $CuO-P_2O_5-V_2O_5$ Glass for solid state Electrolyte)

  • Glasses in the system $CuO-P_2O_5-V_2O_5$ were prepared by a press-quenching method on the copper plate. The glass-ceramics from these glasses were obtained by post-heat treatment, and the crystallization behavior and DC conductivities were determined. The conductivities of the glasses were range from $10^{-6}s.Cm^{-1}$ at room temperature, but the conductivities of the glass-ceramics were $10^{-3}s.Cm^{-1}$ increased by $10^3$ order. The crystalline product in the glass-ceramics was $CuV_2O_6$. Heat-treatment conditions influenced the crystal growth of $CuV_2O_6$ and conductivity. The linear relationship between in (${\sigma}T$) and $T^{-1}$ suggested that the electrical conduction in the present glass-ceramics would be due to a small polaron hopping(SPH) mechanism.

국내 지진의 진도별 가속도 푸리에스펙트럼 통계모델 (The Statistical Model of Fourier Acceleration Spectra according to Seismic Intensities for Earthquakes in Korea)

  • 본 연구에서는 지진파의 푸리에 가속도스펙트럼(Fourier Acceleration Spectrum)에 기반한 계측진도 평가방법(Sokolov and Wald, 2002)을 국내에 적용하기 위해 국내 지진 MMI ${\leq}$ IV 범위에 대한 진도별 FAS 통계특성(평균과 표준편차) 모델을 기상청 발표 진도자료로 부터 도출된 65개 지진에 대한 등진도구역도(Isoseismal Maps)와 등진도구역도 상의 일관된 부지특성을 갖는 580개 수평성분 FAS 자료를 기반으로 경험적으로 도출하였다. 일관된 부지특성을 갖는 FAS는 특정 지진관측소에서 관측된 FAS를 국내 지반물성을 대표할 수 있는 D 등급관측소(연관희와 서정희, 2007)의 부지증폭특성을 갖도록 변환하여 도출하였다. 국내 지진의 MMI ${\leq}$ IV의 FAS 평균값은 로그영역에서 진도에 비례하는 선형성을 나타내었으며, 진도 IV에 대한 FAS 평균은 전 세계 모델과 유사한 특징을 보였다. 또한 진도 MMI ${\leq}$ IV의 FAS 표준편차는 진도 V 이상의 전 세계적인 모델의 표준편차 보다는 크게 평가되었으나, 진도 IV에 대한 전 세계적인 모델의 표준편차보다는 현저히 낮은 값을 나타내었다.

  • 일반화된 Hoek-Brown 암반파괴조건식을 Mohr-Coulomb 파괴조건에 기초한 암반구조물 해석법에 적용시키기 위해서는 등가 마찰각과 등가 점착력을 계산하는 과정이 필요하다. Balmer(1952)이론에 기초한 기존의 접선 순간마찰각과 순간점착력 계산식은 최소주응력 ${\sigma}_3$의 함수로 표시되므로 등가 강도정수의 정수압 의존성 및 응력경로 의존성을 이해하는 데 적합지 않다. 이 연구에서는 응력불변량을 이용하여 일반화된 Hoek-Brown식의 접선 순간마찰각과 순간점착력 계산하는 방법을 제시하여 기존의 방법이 갖는 단점을 극복하였다. 제시된 방법을 이용한 예제 해석을 통해 접선 순간마찰각과 순간점착력의 정수압 의존특성 및 파괴곡면의 팔면체 단면에서 Lode각의 의존성을 고찰하였다. 접선 순간마찰각은 삼축신장 응력조건에서 가장 크며, 접선 순간점착력은 삼축압축 응력조건에서 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 접선 순간마찰각과 순간점착력의 정수압 및 Lode각 의존성은 GSI 값이 큰 양호한 암반에서 상대적으로 큰 것으로 나타났다.

Orbit Determination Accuracy Improvement for Geostationary Satellite with Single Station Antenna Tracking Data

  • An operational orbit determination (OD) and prediction system for the geostationary Communication, Ocean, and Meteorological Satellite (COMS) mission requires accurate satellite positioning knowledge to accomplish image navigation registration on the ground. Ranging and tracking data from a single ground station is used for COMS OD in normal operation. However, the orbital longitude of the COMS is so close to that of satellite tracking sites that geometric singularity affects observability. A method to solve the azimuth bias of a single station in singularity is to periodically apply an estimated azimuth bias using the ranging and tracking data of two stations. Velocity increments of a wheel off-loading maneuver which is performed twice a day are fixed by planned values without considering maneuver efficiency during OD. Using only single-station data with the correction of the azimuth bias, OD can achieve three-sigma position accuracy on the order of 1.5 km root-sum-square.

  • It is important to evaluate fatigue damage of in-service material in respect to assure safety and remaining fatigue life in structure and mechanical components under cyclic load . Fatigue damage is represented by mathematical modelling with crack growth rate da/dN and cycle ration N/Nf and is detected by X-ray diffraction and ultrasonic wave method etc. But this is estimated generally by single parameter but influenced by many test conditions The characteristics of it indicates fatigue damage has complex fracture mechanism. Therefore, in this study we propose that back-propagation neural networks on the basis of ration of X-ray half-value breath B/Bo, fractal dimension Df and fracture mechanical parameters can construct artificial intelligent networks estimating crack growth rate da/dN and cycle ratio N/Nf without regard to stress amplitude Δ $\sigma$.

매설 천연가스배관의 지반침하에 의한 응력 분석 (Analysis of Stresses on Buried Natural Gas Pipeline Subjected to Ground Subsidence)

  • This study was initiated to examine the stress and deformation characteristics of the pipelines which were subjected to various environmental conditions in order to confirm their integrity. As the part of them, this paper presents the analysis results for the effect of ground subsidence combined with main loads on buried natural gas pipelines. The ground subsidence which can occur for buried gas pipeline has been classified to the three cases. Finite element method was used to analyze the effect of ground subsidences on pipeline of 26 inch(0.660 m) and 30 inch(0.762 m) diameter used as high pressure ($70 kg_f/cm^2(6.86 MPa)$) main pipelines of KOGAS. This paper shows the result of stress analysis for the pipelines subjected to those three case ground subsidence. Comparing these results with safety criterion of KOGAS(0.9 $\sigma_y$), maximum allowable settlement and loads have been calculated.

  • Determination of Lead(II) using nafion-DTPA (diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid)-glycerol-modified glassy carbon electrodes is described. Lead(II) is accumulated at the electrode by complexing with the DTPA, reduced, and detected by differential pulse voltammetry. In this study, we demonstrate that at a preconcentration time of 5min the nafion-DTPA-glycerol-modified glassy carbon electrode has a linear calibration curve at range 1.0${\times}$10$\^$-9/M∼1.0${\times}$10$\^$-7/M in pH 4.0 buffer solution. The detection limit(3$\sigma$) is as low as 5.0${\times}$10$\^$-6/M. This method is applied to the determination of lead(II) in certified reference material and the result agrees satisfactorily with the certified value.

  • The crystal structure of licarin-B, a component of Myristicae Semen was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystal of the compound, which was recrystallized from the mixture of hexane and ether, is monoclinic with a=12.740(1), b=7.219(1), c=9.284(1) ${\AA}$, ${\beta}=94.75(1)^{\circ}$, $D_x=1.26$, $D_m=1.27\;g/cm^3$, space group P21, and Z=2. The structure was solved by direct method and refined by least-squares procedure to the final R value of 0.040 for 1532 independent reflections ${F{\ge}3{\sigma}(F)}$. The compound is a dimeric phenylpropanoid, and belongs to the neolignan analogues. The molecules are arranged along with the screw axis. The intermolecular contacts appear to be the normal van der Waals' forces.

  • The Door hinge is a very important part for door sagging performance of a vehicle. It is divided into two classes as a forge- and press-type according to a manufacturing technique. The press-type door hinge is cheap, but shows low strength. To apply the press-type door hinge to a fullsized car with satisfactory door sagging performance, we optimized the design parameters of the door hinge using the DFSS method. As a result, the effective design parameters of the press-type door hinge with good door sagging performance were obtained.

  • SPC is the quality improvement technique of gathering since Motorola of U.S.A. have used SPC technique as a statistical process control method for promoting 6-sigma quality improvement strategy in 1988. In Korea, small and medium-sized enterprises are needed building of a system for statistical production control . In the present study, the methods of building SPC system with a moderate cost using a graphic programs of easy-to-use and high flexibility for small and medium-sized enterprises were inquired. The SPC system which enables statistic marking (maximum, minimum, mean, standard deviation, process capability index) and graph marking (X-Y coordinates and histogram) using LabVIEW 5.0, the graphic program by National Instrument Co., Ltd. was implemented in this study.
