2,2'-Diaminobiphenyl platinum (II) complexes of optically active trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane and 1,2-diaminopropane, [Pt(S,S-chxn)(dabp)]Cl2, [Pt(R,R-chxn)(dabp)]$C_{12}$, [Pt(S-pn)(dabp)]$C_{l2}$, and [Pt(R-pn)(dabp)]Cl2, where S,S-chxn and R,R-chxn are, respectively, S and R isomers of trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane, and S-pn and R-pn are, respectively, S and R isomers of 1,2-diaminopropane, and dabp the 2,2'-diaminobipheny, have been prepared. The dabp ligand has been found to take the $=delta$ conformation in the S,S-chxn and S-pn platinum (II) complexes, while it takes the $\lambda$ conformation in the R,R-chxn and R-pn platinum (II) complexes.

Phytochemical investigation of Salvia plebeia resulted in the isolation of nine compounds. Their structures were determined to be 6-methoxynaringenin (1), 6-methoxynaringenin-7-O-$\beta$-D-glucoside (2), hispidulin (3), homoplantaginin (4), nepetin (5), nepitrin (6), 6-hydroxyluteolin (7), caffeic acid (8) and rosmarinic acid (9) by spectroscopic analyses. 6-Methoxynaringenin (1), 6-hydroxyluteolin (7) and rosmarinic acid (9) were isolated from this plant for the first time.

미생물막 유동층 반응기로 염료공장 폐수의 유기물 처리효율을 고찰하였다. 공장폐수를 2배, 3배 및 6배 희석하여 처리하였던 바, 각 희석배율 모두 F/M비가 0.2에서 0.3으로 증가할 때 처리효율이 급격히 낮아졌다. 한편, 같은 F/M비에서는 희석율이 높을수록 처리효율이 높았으며 수리학적 체류시간이 증가함에 따라서 처리효율도 증가하였다. 6배 희석시 F/M비가 0.2 이하에서 BOD 처리효율이 $90{\sim}97%$로 가장 좋았다. 또 반응기 설계를 위한 통역학적 계수 Y, $k_b$값 및 상관계수 r은 2배 희석시 $Y=0.3365\;k_d=0.03782\;day^{-1}\;r=0.997$, 3배 희석시 $Y=0.3341\;k_d=0.0275\;day^{-1}\;r=0.996$ 및 6배 희석시는 $Y=0.5460\;k_d=0.03434\;day^{-1}\;r=0.998$로 나타났다.

The aminolysis of diphenyl thiophosphinic chloride (2) with substituted anilines in acetonitrile at 55.0 oC is investigated kinetically. Kinetic results yield large Hammett ρX (ρnuc = ?3.97) and Bronsted βX (βnuc = 1.40) values. A concerted mechanism involving a partial frontside nucleophilic attack through a hydrogen-bonded, four-center type transition state is proposed on the basis of the primary normal kinetic isotope effects (kH/kD = 1.0-1.1) with deuterated aniline (XC6H4ND2) nucleophiles. The natural bond order charges on P and the degrees of distortion of 42 compounds: chlorophosphates [(R1O)(R2O)P(=O)Cl], chlorothiophosphates [(R1O)(R2O)P(=S)Cl], phosphonochloridates [(R1O)R2P(=O)Cl], phosphonochlorothioates [(R1O)R2P(=S)Cl], chlorophosphinates [R1R2P(=O)Cl], and chlorothiophosphinates [R1R2P(=S)Cl] are calculated at the B3LYP/ 6-311+G(d,p) level in the gas phase.

생리기능성을 조사하기 위하여 먼저 충남 금산의 양파와 도라지, 마늘과 생강 등의 재배지 토양시료에서 분리, 동정한 야생효모 중 마늘 재배지에서 분리한 Piskurozyma taiwanensis R4-1 (NIBRFGC000502619), Nadsonia starkeyi-henriciiR6-2 (NIBRFGC000502618), Canadida friedrichiiM12-6 (NIBRFGC000502615) 균주와 생강에서 분리한 Vishniacozyma peneaus I2-9 (NIBRFGC000502617)와 Cryptococcus aspenensisI21-1 (NIBRFGC000502616) 균주의 야생효모를 국내 미기록 효모 균주로 최종 선별하여 이들의 형태학적, 배양학적 특성 등을 조사하였다. 미기록 균주들은 구형~타원형으로 PiskurozymataiwanensisR4-1, Nadsoniastarkeyi-henriciiR6-2들은 자낭포자를 형성하였다. Vishniacozyma peneausI2-9, Cryptococcus aspenensisI21-1, Piskurozyma taiwanensis R4-1, Nadsonia starkeyi-henricii R6-2는 yeast extract-peptone-dextrose (YPD) 배지와 yeast extract-malt extracts (YM) 배지, 비타민을 첨가하지 않은 YPD 배지에서도 모두 생육하였으며 Vishniacozyma peneausI2-9 외 4균주 모두 10% NaCl을 함유한 YPD 배지에서 생육하는 호염성 효모였다.

[Zn(L)₂(H₂O)₄] (1) (L = isonicotinate) 착물을 합성하고 구조를 규명하였다 이 착물은 삼사정계, 공간군 P1, a = 6.9062(4) , b = 9.2618(7) , c = 6.3313(3) , α = 104.986(6)°, β = 112.865(4)°, γ = 96.213(6)°, V : 350.41(4) ³, Z = 1로 결정화 되었다. 이 착물의 구조는 최소자승법으로 정밀화하였으며, 최종신뢰도 R₁(wR₂)값은 1225개의 회절반점에 대하여 0.0209및 0.0591이었다. Zn 원자의 배위환경은 isonicotinate 리간드가 서로 trans에 위치한 팔면체 구조를 갖는다 . 또한 화합物 1은 수소결합에 의한 이차원의 사슬 구조로 연결되어 있다

3,9-Dihydro-6-oxopterocarpen과 ferulic acid의 에스테르 반응을 통해 페룰산 유도체인 3,9-diferuloyl-6-oxopterocarpen (Tensolin-$F_{(R)}$ )를 합성하여 이를 함유한 주름개선 화장품을 개발하였다. Tensolin-$F_{(R)}$ 는 농도 의존적으로 DPPH와 superoxide radical에 대한 소거효과를 나타냈으며, 각각 0.8 mM에서 78%, 0.053 mM에서 92.9%로 DPPH와 superoxide radical을 소거하여 우수한 항산화 효과를 나타내었다. MMP-1 효소 활성 저해 효과도 0.16 mM에서 74%를 저해하였다. HDF에서 UVA에 의해 발현이 증가되는 MMP-1의 발현 저해 효과는 Tensolin-$F_{(R)}$ 0.8 uM에서 85.5%로 단백질 수준에서 모두 농도 의존적으로 발현 저해효과가 나타났다. Tensolin-$F_{(R)}$ 를 함유한 제품의 피부 주름개선 효과 평가 결과, Tensolin-$F_{(R)}$ 를 함유한 화장품을 약 8주 간 도포한 경우 유의한 주름개선 효과가 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여 Tensolin-$F_{(R)}$ 는 항산화 효과와 MMP-1활성 저해 효과 및 UVA에 의한 MMP-1의 발현을 저해하는 효과가 나타났으며 새로운 주름개선 기능성 화장품으로 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

본 실험은 영양번식계 사과배양묘의 규격묘 생산을 위한 기초자료를 얻고자 순화된 사과 M.9묘의 광질 영향이 생육과 광합성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 6주간 환경이 조절된 룸에서 재배하였다. 인공광원은 6처리[적색(R), 청색(B), 백색(W), RBUV(UV-A 함유된 R7B3), RBW(R3B1W1), SMF(고압나트륨+메탈할라이드+형광등)]이며 식물에 조사된 광량은 $154{\pm}4{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$이였다. 사과 묘 생육 특성 반응은 3주와 6주 각각 인공광원에 따라 차이를 보였다. 사과 묘 초장이 3주에는 R, RBUV, RBW, SMF 광원에서 높았으나, 6주에는 R 광원에서 높았다. 묘경은 3주째는 처리 간 차이가 없었으나, 6주째는 RBUV, RBW 광원에서 높았으며, 엽수는 3주와 6주 모두 RBUV 광원에서 가장 많았다. 엽록소 함량 SPAD 값은 3주째는 B와 RBUV 광원과 광원에서 높았으나 6주째는 차이가 없었다. 초장을 기준으로 인공광원 처리기간 중 생장율은 R 광원에서 1.12mm/day로 가장 빨랐으며, RBUV 광원(0.95mm/day), RBW 광원(0.86mm/day), SMF 광원 (0.76mm/day), W 광원(0.69mm/day), B 광원(0.44mm/day) 순 이였다. 엽면적은 RBUV, RBW 광원에서 높았고, B 광원에서 낮았으며, 비엽면적은 W 광원에서 높았으며, 생체중과 건물중은 RBUV 광원에서 높았다. 처리 6주째 광합성율은 B 광원에서 가장 높았으며, R 광원에서 낮았고, 기공전도도와 증산율은 B와 W 광원에서 높았다. 따라서 순화된 기내 배양 사과 M.9묘의 초장, 묘경, 엽수, 생체중 등 생육을 위해서는 광파장 영역이 R, R+B가 혼합비율이 높았던 R, RBUV, RBW 광원이 적합하였다.

A new type of DTPA-bis-amides (L1-L4) and their Gd(III)-complexes of the type $[Gd(L)(H_2O)]{\cdot}nH_2O$ (5: L1; 6: L2; 7: L3; 8: L4) have been prepared and characterized by analytical and spectroscopic techniques. The X-ray crystal structure of 8 has been determined for structural confirmation. The coordination geometry adopts a tricapped trigonal prism geometry with L4 acting as a chelate octadentate and a water molecule in the coordination sphere. Crystals are monoclinic, $P2_1$, a = 14.468(3), b = 19.235(4), c = 13.527(2) $\AA$ $\beta$ = $107.245(3)^{\circ}$, V = 3595.2(11) $\AA^3$, Z = 4, $D_{calc}$ = 1.570. Significant increases in relaxivities are observed with 6 and 7 as compared with that of $Omniscan^{(R)}$, a commercial MR agent: R1 = 12.46 $mM^{-1}\;s^{-1}$, R2 = 8.76 $mM^{-1}\;s^{-1}$ for 6; R1 = 12.77 nm-1 s-1, R2 = 7.60 mM-1 s-1 for 7; R1 = 4.9 $mM^{-1}\;s^{-1}$, R2 = 4.8 $mm^{-1}\;s^{-1}$ for $Omniscan^{(R)}$. In the case of 5, however, both R1 and R2 are found to be lower to show 2.09 $mM^{-1}\;s^{-1}$, and 1.82 $mM^{-1}\;s^{-1}$, respectively.

In this paper, we investigate the extensions of generalized stable rings. It is shown that a ring R is a generalized stable ring if and only if R has a complete orthogonal set {e$_1$, . . . , e$_n$} of idempotents such that e$_1$Re$_1$, . . . , e$_n$Re$_n$ are generalized stable rings. Also, we prove that a ring R is a generalized stable ring if and only if R[[X]] is a generalized stable ring if and only if T(R,M) is a generalized stable ring.
