Amino酸으로부터 Anilide誘濤體의 合成과 生理活性에 關한 硏究 (第1報). (R)-2-Pyrrolidone-5-carbox-anilide 誘濤體의 合成과 植物種子發芽에 미치는 影響 (Syntheses of Anilide Derivatives from Amino Acids ad Their Biological Activities (Ⅰ).   • L-Glutamic acid와 aniline 誘導體로부터 다음과 같은 새로운 pyrrolidone-anilide誘導體를 合成했다. 이 化合物들의 構造가 元素分析, UV, IR, NMR 그리고 Mass 스펙트럼으로 (R)-2-pyrrolidone-5-carbox-p-chloroanilide, (R)-2-pyrrolidone-5-carbox-o-toluidide, (R)-2-pyrrolidone-5-carbox-m-toluidide, (R)-2-pyrrolidone-5-carbox-p-toluidide임이 확인되었다. 이 化合物들의 무우, 벼 種子發芽와 生育에 대한 phytotoxicity을 調査한 結果는 다음과 같다. 이 化合物들은 벼 種子에 대하여 發芽 및 發根抑制?果를 나타내었다. 그 중에서 (R)-2-pyrrolidone-5-carboxanilide와 (R)-2-pyrrolidone-5-carbox-p-chloroanilide 誘導體는 무우 種子의 發芽와 生育을 현저하게 抑制하였다. 또한 (R)-2-pyrrolidone-5-carboxtoluidide 誘導體에 있어서 methyl group의 結合位置 (ortho, meta, para)에 따라서 무우의 生育抑制率이 다르다는 것을 알았다. 즉 (R)-2-pyrrolidone-5-carbox-m-toluidide는 (R)-2-pyrrolidone-5-carbox-o-toluidide와 (R)-2-pyrrolidone-5-carbox-p-toluidide 보다 무우 種子의 生育阻害現象이 현저하였다.

Profiling of Salivary Exosomal Micro RNAs in Burning Mouth Syndrome Patients

  • Purpose: The exact causes of burning mouth syndrome (BMS) is unclear so far. There are many studies to elucidate the relation between oral disease and genetic predisposition. In this study, we first tried to investigate salivary exosomal genetic components that could play an important role for diagnosing and elucidating the progression of BMS. Methods: We compared salivary exosomal micro RNAs (miRNAs) of BMS Patients to those of control using next generation sequencing (NGS). Unstimulated whole saliva from 15 patients with BMS and 10 control subjects were divided into two sets. Isolated exosomes and their total RNAs were subject to NGS for the screening of miRNAs. Results: There were up-regulated 10 exosomal miRNAs (hsa-miR-1273h-5p, hsa-miR-1273a, hsa-miR-1304-3p, hsa-miR-4449, hsa-miR-1285-3p, hsa-miR-6802-5p, hsa-miR-1268a, hsa-miR-1273d, hsa-miR-1273f, and hsa-miR-423-5p) and down-regulated 18 exosomal miRNAs (hsa-miR-27b-3p, hsa-miR-16-5p, hsa-miR-186-5p, hsa-miR-142-3p, hsa-miR-141-3p, hsa-miR-150-5p, hsa-miR-374a-5p, hsa-miR-93-5p, hsa-miR-29c-3p, hsa-miR-29a-3p, hsa-miR-148a-3p, hsa-miR-22-3p, hsa-miR-27a-3p, hsa-miR-424-5p, hsa-miR-19b-3p, hsa-miR-99a-5p, hsa-miR-548d-3p, and hsa-miR-19a-3p) in BMS patients comparing with those of control subjects. Conclusions: We show that there are 28 differential expression of miRNAs between the patients with BMS and those of control subjects. The specific function of indicated miRNAs should be further elucidated.

  • Bulgecinine의 선구물질인 (4S,5R)-1-acetyl-2-formyl-5-benzyloxymethyl-4-pyrrolidinol (15)을 diacetone-D-glucose로부터 합성하였다. Barton 탈산소화 반응, C-5에서의 반전, $-N_3$ 도입과 환원 및 C-2에서의 고리 형성을 통해 bulgecinine의 핵심 중간체인 두 고리 화합물 (6R)-6-Ο-benzyloxymethyl-(3R)-3-methoxy-2-oxa-5-azabicyclo-[2,2,1]heptane (13)을 합성하였다. 화합물 13을 N-아세틸화 후 산가수분해하여 얻은 bulgecinine 선구물질은 토토머화가 수반되어 (2S,4S,5R)-pyrrolidinol 유도체 15와 함께 (2S,4S,5R)-부분 입체 이성질체도 얻어졌다.

  • 2-Epideoxymannojirimycin 1 and (2R,3R,4R,5R)-3,4,5-trihydroxypipecolic acid 2 were prepared starting from D-glucosamic acid as a chiral educt. Key transformations were selective removal of the terminal isopropylidene group and intramolecular cyclization by SN2 reaction.

A KUROSH-AMITSUR LEFT JACOBSON RADICAL FOR RIGHT NEAR-RINGS

  • Let R be a right near-ring. An R-group of type-5/2 which is a natural generalization of an irreducible (ring) module is introduced in near-rings. An R-group of type-5/2 is an R-group of type-2 and an R-group of type-3 is an R-group of type-5/2. Using it $J_{5/2}$, the Jacobson radical of type-5/2, is introduced in near-rings and it is observed that $J_2(R){\subseteq}J_{5/2}(R){\subseteq}J_3(R)$. It is shown that $J_{5/2}$ is an ideal-hereditary Kurosh-Amitsur radical (KA-radical) in the class of all zero-symmetric near-rings. But $J_{5/2}$ is not a KA-radical in the class of all near-rings. By introducing an R-group of type-(5/2)(0) it is shown that $J_{(5/2)(0)}$, the corresponding Jacobson radical of type-(5/2)(0), is a KA-radical in the class of all near-rings which extends the radical $J_{5/2}$ of zero-symmetric near-rings to the class of all near-rings.

코이어 배지 수경재배에서 관수효율 향상을 위한 급액 제어 (Irrigation Control for Improving Irrigation Efficiency in Coir Substrate Hydroponic System)

  • 본 연구는 환경오염과 양수분 손실을 주는 비순환식 수경재배에 FDR센서를 이용한 자동관수시스템을 적용할 때 관수효율을 높이기 위한 최적의 최소대기시간을 설정하고자 수행되었다. 실험은 가을과 겨울철에 봄과 여름철에 두 번 수행하였고 가을과 겨울철에는 3분 급액과 최소대기시간을 5분으로 한 3R5F 처리구, 3분 급액과 최소대기시간을 10분으로 한 3R10F 처리구, 5분 급액과 최소대기시간을 15분으로 한 5R15F 처리구를 설정하여 실험하였고 봄과 여름철에는 3분 급액과 최소대기시간을 5분으로 한 3R5F 처리구, 3분 급액과 최소 대기시간을 10분으로 한 3R10F 처리구를 설정하여 실험하였다. 3분 급액은 주당 60mL, 5분 급액은 주당 80mL가 공급되었다. 가을과 겨울철 재배에서 정식 후 62일 까지 주당 급액량은 3R5F (858mL) > 5R15F (409mL) > 3R10F (306mL) 처리 순으로 나타났고 배액률은 3R5F (44%) > 5R15F (23%) > 3R10F (14%) 순으로 나타났다. 정식 후 62일부터 102일 까지는 일일 주당 급액량이 5R15F (888mL)> 3R5F (695mL)> 3R10F (524mL) 순으로 나타났고 이 시기에 배액률은 5R15F에서 가장 높았다. 봄과 여름재배에서는 일일 주당 급액량과 배액율이 3R5F 처리구에서 3R10F 처리구보다 높았다. 두 재배 모두에서 수분이용효율 (WUE)은 3R10F 처리에서 높았다. 따라서 FDR 센서를 활용한 자동화 관수 시스템에서 관수효율을 높이기 위한 최소대기시간은 10분으로 고찰된다.

회분식 혐기성 소화 반응기에서 음식물탈리액과 양돈폐수의 혼합비에 따른 수소 생산 및 유기물 제거 (Hydrogen Production and Organic Removal according to Mixture Ratio of Food Wastewater and Swine Wastewater using Anaerobic Batch Reactor)

  • This study aims to find out optimum condition for hydrogen production and organic removal when treating food and swine wastewater together. For this purpose, various batch tests were conducted by changing mixture ratio from 6:4 (food wastewater:swine wastewater) to 1:9 without pretreatment process. For hydrogen production through anaerobic fermentation, the mixture ratios of R-1 (6:4), R-2 (5:5) and R-6 (1:9) were out of pH range appropriate for hydrogen production and mixture ratios of R-3 (4:6), R-4 (3:7), and R-5(2:8) showed appropriate hydrogen production where their pH ranges were 5.1~5.5. Especially in case of R-3, it consistently maintained appropriate pH range for hydrogen production for 72hr and produced maximum hydrogen. The characteristics of hydrogen production and cumulative hydrogen production according to each mixture ratio showed that R-1, R-2 and R-6 did not produce any hydrogen, and maximum hydrogen productions of R-3, R-4 and R-5 were 593ml, 419ml and 90ml, respectively. Total cumulative hydrogen productions of R-3, R-4 and R-5 were 1690ml, 425ml and 96ml, respectively. Based on previous results, it was concluded that, the most appropriate mixture ratio of food wastewater and swine wastewate rwas 4:6 (R-3). The experiment for COD removal rate to evaluate organic removal efficiency revealed that R-3, R-4 and R-5 showed high removal efficiencies during the highest hydrogen production amount and the highest efficiency was 41% with R-3.

MiR-323-5p acts as a Tumor Suppressor by Targeting the Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 Receptor in Human Glioma Cells

  • Background: MicroRNAs, small noncoding RNA molecules, can regulate mammalian cell growth, apoptosis and differentiation by controlling the expression of target genes. The aim of this study was to investigate the function of miR-323-5p in the glioma cell line, U251. Materials and Methods: After over-expression of miR-323-5p using miR-323-5p mimics, cell growth, apoptosis and migration were tested by MTT, flow cytometry and cell wound healing assay, respectively. We also assessed the influence of miR-323-5p on the mRNA expression of IGF-1R by quantitative real-time reverse transcriptase PCR (qRT-PCR), and on the protein levels by Western blot analysi. In addition, dual-luciferase reporter assays were performed to determine the target site of miR-323-5p to IGF-1R 3'UTR. Results: Our findings showed that over-expression of miR-323-5p could promote apoptosis of U251 and inhibit the proliferation and migration of the glioma cells. Conclusions: This study demonstrated that increased expression of miR-323-5p might be related to glioma progression, which indicates a potential role of miR-323-5p for clinical therapy.
