New Aging Support Policy in Local Government: Focusing on 50 Plus Center (장년층(長年層)의 은퇴 후 삶에 대한 지방정부의 정책대응 -50+센터의 역할 정립을 중심으로-)

  • This Study aimed at finding the new-aging support policy in local government through establishing the role of the 50 Plus Center. The results showed that the new seniors had higher social participation needs than the old seniors. But existing institutions like Senior Center were lacking such a role. Therefore, 50 Plus Center that is the first public institution to retired citizens of Seoul should focus on Life Design Education and Community Involvement Education.

Histopathological Studies on Carcinomas of the Stomach in the Taegu Area (대구지방의 위암에 대한 병리조직학적 연구)

  • For evaluation on the histopathologic studies, and age and sex distribution of the gastric carcinomas in the Taegu Area, the gastrectomized and gastoroscopic biopsy materials were collected at the Department of Pathology, College of Medicine, Yeungnam University, and the analyzed results were as follows: 1. In total of 350 cases of gastroscopic biopsy materials adenocarcinomas are 344 cases (98.3%), squamous cell carcinomas and undifferentiated carcinomas are only 6 cases (1.7%). In adenocarcinomas the most of all are tubular type, 215 cases (61.4%). In age distribution the highest is the 50th age group, and 120 cases (34.3%), the next, 60th, 81 cases (23.1%), 40th, 76 cases (21.7%), respectively. 2. In total of 130 cases of gastrectomized materials adenocarcinomas are 127 cases (97.7%), and are the highest incidence, the next, carcinomas originated from chronic peptic ulcer of the stomach, and are 3 cases (2.3%). In adenocarcinomas the highest are tubular type, 86 cases (66.2%), the next, signet-ring cell type, 20 cases (15.4%). The highest age incidence of the age group IS 50th, and the next, 60th, 40th, 30th, 70th and 10th age group, respectively.

The Social Psychological Meaning of Occupation-related Identities among Generations (세대에 따른 직업 관련 사회정체성의 사회심리학적 의미)

  • This study initiated with the intention to reveal the social consultations and fissures through a comparative analysis on generational characteristics by indicating occupation-related identities with the concept of social identity supported by theoretical resources. According to the three dimensions of social identity which are evaluation, potency and activity, there was more generational agreement rather than difference toward occupation-related identities. Among the 44 identities, only evaluation dimensions on minister, congressman, plane captain, farmer and potency dimensions on CEO of a major companies, professor, medical doctor, nurse, celebrity, shaman, unemployed person were statistically significant. For 'Leader and Professional', the respondents in their 50's gave high scores in both evaluation and potency dimensions. On the other side, the 30's had negative viewpoints while the 20's and 40's had neutral perspectives. For the potency dimension, the age groups were divided into the 20's, 30's and 40's, 50's; having the younger generations underestimate the potency dimension of such categories. Also for the 'General Occupation', 20's and the 30's relatively devaluated with more distinctive degree toward evaluation dimensions. For religion, 20's and 30's were positive toward buddhist monks while the 40's and 50's were more favorable with priests. For the non-economically active population, the lifetime cycle influenced each generations. When performing a two dimensional analysis toward the 'Leader and Professional' with evaluation and potency on each axis, the 50's highly evaluated both evaluation and potency dimension of such identities. However, for the 40's, 30's and 20's, the average value fell while the focus of the distribution deepened. The 30's had negative perspective toward the evaluation dimension while the 20's reflected critical attitude toward the potency dimension.

A Study on the Age-Specific Choice Attributes of Bakery Product Purchasers on Gyeongbuk (경북지역 베이커리 제품 구매자의 세대별 선택속성)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate in the Age-Specific Choice Attributes of Bakery Product Purchasers on Gyeongbuk. The results were as follows : The findings of survey showed that in general characteristics of respondents, the number of males was 194(33.4%) and females 387(66.6%), so the number of females was slightly higher than that of males. On the matter of bakery purchase attributes, in the case of food life by ages, the 20s belonged to more 'taste-interest type'(44.7%) and the 30s~50s were more 'health-interest type'(p<0.001). When purchasing bakery products, consumers had different importance factors such as taste 61.8%, nutrition 17.6%, price 9.1%. In terms of taste, by ages the 20s were 73.9%, the 30s 65.8%, the 40s 55.8% and the 50s 46.0%(p<0.001). In bakery-using type, franchise bakery was 70.4%, window bakery 16.0%, in the case of franchise bakery by ages, the 20s were 70.2%, the 30s 78.1%, the 40s 72.1% and the 50s 56.0%(p<0.001). In their preference of bakery products, various kinds of sandwich the 20s liked by 37.3%, the 50s by 12.0%(p<0.001). Natural fermented bread accounted for 14.9% in the 20s and 37.0% in the 50s(p<0.001).

MSHIM기법에 의한 차세대 원전의 일일부하추종운전 연구

  • 차세대 원전 1주기 노심에 대해 MSHIM기법을 적용하여 100-50-100% 출력, 14-2-6-2시간 형태의 일일부하추종운전시 노심 거동을 ONED94 전산코드를 통해 모사하였다. 계산결과 1300MWe급 차세대 원전에서 단순한 제어봉 구동논리를 통해 부하추종운전중의 잉여반응도와 축방향 출력분포를 적절히 제어할 수 있었으며, 붕산수 조절없이 안전한계 범위 내에서 일일부하추종운전이 가능하였다. 또한 MSHIM기법을 위한 차세대원전의 제어봉 배치를 변경 제시하였다.

  • 차세대이동통신(IMT-2000/FPLMTS)을 중심으로 한 이동통신은 고도 정보화사회를 열어가는 주역으로 2000년대 초에는 전체 통신서비스의 약 50% 정도를 점유할 것으로 예견되고 있다. 본 고에서는 차세대 이동통신인 IMT-2000/FPLMTS에 대한 국제 표준화 동향 및 미국, 유럽, 일본 등의 표준화 및 개발 동향을 살펴보기로 하겠다. 또한 우리나라의 표준화 및 개발 동향을 살펴봄으로써 CDMA 디지털 셀룰러 세계 최초 상용화로 이룩한 이동통신 선진국의 위치를 차세대 이동통신 분야에서도 실현하여 우리나라가 이동통신 대국이 되는 방안을 모색해보기로 하겠다.

Generational Relationship of the Middle Aged to the Elderly Parents and Their Attitudes on Old-Age Security (중년층과 노부모의 세대관계와 중년층의 노후부양관)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 현재 40-50대의 중년층과 노부모 사이에 이루어지는 세대관계의 심층적 구조를 밝히고, 이 구조에 영향을 미치는 제반요인들을 설명하는데 있다. 그리고 세대관계의 유형에 따라 중년층 자신의 노후부양태도와 노후생활에 대한 대책행위가 어떻게 달라지는가를 분석하였다. 이 연구를 위해 구조화된 질문지를 활용하는 전국전인 면접조사가 이루어졌다. 이 논문은 중년층과 노부모의 세대관계를 세대간 근접성, 지원가능, 그리고 노부모 부양관 에 따라 다섯 가지 유형으로 분류하였다. 중년층의 지배적인 세대관계는 노부모와 별거하면서 지원기능을 유지하는 형태로 나타났다. 별거사항에서 이루어지는 지원관계에는 중년층의 사회 계층적 지위나 노부모와의 정서적 연대와 관련된 요인들이 중요하게 작용하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 중년층 자신의 노후생활에 대한 부양관과 노후대책 행위는 세대관계의 유형에 따라 유의미한 차이가 존재한다. 근접성, 지원관계, 노부모 부양관 모두에서 전통적인 세대관계를 유지하는 중년층은 자신의 노후생활에 대해서도 가족의 부양을 강조하며, 독립적인 노후대책을 마련하는데 소극적이다. 반면, 노부모와 동거하고 지원기능을 유지하더라도 노부모부양관이 약한 증년층은, 자신의 노후 생활에 대하여 독립성을 강조하고, 스스로 노후대책을 마련하는데 적극적인 것으로 확인되었다.

A Study on the High-Emotional Quality in the Design perceived by Chinese Millennials - focused on Emotional Image- (중국의 밀레니얼 세대가 인식하는 디자인에서의 고급감성에 관한 연구 -감성 이미지를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the high-emotional quality in the design perceived by the Chinese millennials. To do this, we summarized the theoretical concepts of high-emotional quality in design based on the understanding of the characteristics of the millennials. Second, we collected and analyzed the high-emotional quality images thought by 50 millennials living in Beijing, China. Research results showed that high-emotional quality in the design perceived by the Chinese millennials was the innovation of the technology with the change of times, the social superiority that distinguishes me from other groups, and the cultural excellence taking more pride in own culture. This study are expected to be used as the basic data to understand the emotions of the Chinese millennials and to establish a design strategy for them.

Analysis of Perception Pattern about Social Participation of Baby Boomer Generation (베이비붐 세대의 사회참여에 관한 인식유형 분석)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the subjective perception pattern of social participation by using Q-methodology. Sixty-seven Q-samples were extracted from the Q-population which was constructed, along with analyzing previous research by conducting in-depth interviews with 15. A total of 50 babyboomers, male and female 25 each, participated in Q-sorting, and the data of 50 subjects was finally analysed using QUANL program and found that three factor structures(6 types) were appropriate accounted for 34.06% of the total variance. These six types were different in social participation spontaneity, motivation, preferring activities and constraint factors; 'an ordinary commoner' type and 'the doyen' type (factor 1), 'a social activist' type and 'a kicked out salaried worker'(factor 2), 'still-youth' type and 'now-senior' type(factor 3). According to these results, the researcher discussed theoretically and suggested some significant social welfare implications.
