  • This paper describes a research work on the development of computer-aided design system far the deep drawing & ironing of high pressure gas cylinder. An approach to the design system is based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge for the system is formulated from plasticity theories, handbook, experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. This system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD Rl4.0 using personal computer. This system is composed of three modules which are input. process design and drawing.

3차원 기하 처리와 유한요소 분석을 이용한 치아 임플란트 식립 계획 수립 (Planning of Dental Implant Placement Using 3D Geometric Processing and Finite Element Analysis)

  • In order to make dental implant surgery successful, it is important to perform proper planning for dental implant placement. In this paper, we propose a decent approach to dental implant placement planning based on geometric processing of 3D models of jawbones, a nerve curve and neighboring teeth around a missing tooth. Basically, the minimum enclosing cylinders of the neighboring teeth around the missing tooth are properly used to determine the position and direction of the implant placement. The position is computed according to the radii of the cylinders and the center points of their top faces. The direction is computed by the weighted average of the axes of the cylinders. For a cylinder whose axis passes the position along the direction, its largest radius and longest length are estimated such that it does not interfere with the neighboring teeth and the nerve curve, and they are used to select the size and type of an implant fixture. From the geometric and spatial information of the jawbones, the teeth and the fixture, we can construct the 3D model of a surgical guide stent which is crucial to perform the drilling operation with ease and accuracy. We have shown the validity of the proposed approach by performing the finite element analysis of the influence of implant placement on bone stress distribution. Adopted in 3D simulation of dental implant placement, the approach can be used to provide dental students with good educational contents. It is also expected that, with further work, the approach can be used as a useful tool to plan for dental implant surgery.

  • To ensure competitiveness in the modem automotive market, process and material planning should be performed concurrently with new car developments. In automotive general assembly shops, thus, new business workflows and supporting environments are inevitable to reduce the manufacturing preparation time in developing a new car in the manner of concurrent and collaborative engineering. Since complete material planning for a whole general assembly system is a huge and complex job, several planners should execute their planning jobs and share information. Therefore, each planner should provide others with his/her results with continuous on-line communication and cooperation. In this research, a web-based system for concurrent and collaborative process and material planning for automotive general assembly via 3D digital mock-up S/W is developed. By using this system, savings in time and cost of process and material planning are possible, and the reliability of the planning result is improved.

마르세이유 거대 주거동의 건축설계 특성(特性)과 단면 3층 단위체 기원(起源)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Design Characteristics and the Origin of Three-story Section in the Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles)

  • The Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles was an experimental project that Le Corbusier had been waiting for since 1920s in order to explore his ideals and visions in mass housing and city planning. As a leader of the first generation members in CIAM, Le Corbusier tried to give a new form and an order to the Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles in both building design and city planning level. The purpose of this research is to investigate the design characteristics of the Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles in three different levels of built environment with a particular emphasis on the process through which an original form is derived from its contextual settings. In the level of city planning, Le Corbusier aimed to reshape traditional low-rise urban housing by deploying several Unites spaciously. Le Corbusier believed that the spacious deployment of Unites would bring us both the functional economy in the city and the natural amenity in the suburbs. As Unite d'Habitation would be called frequently as vertical garden city, the influence of suburban garden city on Unite d'Habitation is apparent. In the building level, the binomial harmony of individual-collectivity was pursued by providing three different public floors and by combining 23 different family unit types in the Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles. In order to visualize the concept of object-type, family units were prefabricated and inserted into the structural frame of the Unite d'Habitation at Marseilles. Two family units are combined to make a three-story section with street corridor in the middle. This three-story section unit is very original as it has access corridor every third floor and each unit could have considerable depth with the help of the living space of two story height. In consideration of formal and plan similarity as well as contextual edivdence, it is concluded that the three-story section of the Unite d'Habitation is derived more from Narkomfin Apartments than from the monastery at Ema or Immuble Villas.

자율 주행로봇을 위한 국부 경로계획 알고리즘 (A local path planning algorithm for free-ranging mobil robot)

  • A new local path planning algorithm for free-ranging robots is proposed. Considering that a laser range finder has the excellent resolution with respect to angular and distance measurements, a simple local path planning algorithm is achieved by a directional weighting method for obtaining a heading direction of nobile robot. The directional weighting method decides the heading direction of the mobile robot by estimating the attractive resultant force which is obtained by directional weighting function times range data, and testing whether the collision-free path and the copen parthway conditions are satisfied. Also, the effectiveness of the established local path planning algorithm is estimated by computer simulation in complex environment.

  • 최근 실내건축 분야의 실무 현장이나 대학의 실내건축 교육은 3차원 스케치 소프트웨어를 활용한 공간계획능력을 필수적으로 요구하고 있지만, 현재 특성화 고등학교에서의 교육은 수작업성 실기수업과 2D CAD 중심으로 구성되어 산업계의 변화에 적절하게 대응하지 못하고 있으며, 학생들의 공간계획 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 3차원 스케치 소프트웨어 기반 수업 프로그램이 매우 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 이 연구의 목적은 특성화 고등학교 NCS 기반 실내디자인 과목의 '주거공간 계획하기' 단원에서 3차원 스케치 소프트웨어를 활용한 수업 프로그램을 개발하고, 특성화고 수업에 적용하여 학생들의 학업성취도에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 있다. 이 연구에서 개발한 3차원 스케치 소프트웨어 기반 수업 프로그램은 PDIE 모형 절차에 따라 준비, 개발, 실행, 평가의 4단계를 거쳐 개발되었으며, 실험설계 모형은 이질집단 사후검사설계를 사용하였다. 실험 처치는 건설 분야 특성화 고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 실시하였고, 총 9차시의 실내디자인 교과 수업에 적용하였다. 실험 처치 후에는 인지적, 정의적, 심동적 영역에 대한 학업성취도 검사를 실시하였으며, 독립표본 t-검정을 통해 개발된 수업 프로그램에 대한 효과를 분석하였다. 이 연구에서 개발된 3차원 스케치 프로그램을 활용한 수업 프로그램은 인지적, 정의적, 심동적 영역 모두에서 기존의 수작업성 실기 수업보다 학생들의 학업성취도를 향상시키는데 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

간암에서 호흡주기를 고려한 2-차원 방사선 치료 방법과 3-차원 입체조형 치료방법에서 방사선 간염 예측의 비교연구 (Comparative Study Between Respiratory Gated Conventional 2-D Plan and 3-D Conformal Plan for Predicting Radiation Hepatitis)

  • 목적 : 방사선치료계획시 호흡에 의한 장기의 움직임이 고려하는 경우 호흡이 방사선치료에 따른 합병증 발생에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 3차원 입체조형치료를 받은 간암 환자 4례를 대상으로 하여 방사선치료 계획용컴퓨터상에서 재분석을 하였다. 호흡주기에 따라 방사선치료를 시행 받는다고 가정하여 계획용표적체적의 상하 범위를 줄여 기존의 2-차원 치료계획을 시행한 경우와 자유롭게 호흡하면서 계획된 3-차원 입체조형치료에서 정상간과 주변정상장기의 선량체적히스토그람과 normal tissue complication probability(NTCP)를 비교하였다. 결과 : 간의 호흡에 의한 상하 운동범위는 2-3cm 이었고 호흡주기에 따른 기존의 2차원 방사선치료 방법과 자유롭게 호흡하면서 시행된 3-차원적 입체조형치료 간의 계획용표적체적과 잔여정상간, 주변정상장기의 선량체적히스토그람의 뚜렷한 차이는 관찰할 수 없었다. 또한 정상잔여간의 NTCP의 차이도 관찰할 수 없었다. 결론 : 간에 대한 방사선치료시 호흡에 의해 장기의 움직임을 고려한 방사선치료계획은 방사선치료에 따른 합병증 발생에 매우 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 생각되었고 향후 이 문제점을 극복할 수 있는 많은 연구가 필요 할것으로 생각된다.

  • 본 연구에서는 리스크관리 인자별 중요도와 4D 객체 시각화방법론을 통한 리스크관리 정보의 시각화 모델을 제안한다. 리스크관리 프로세스 모델은 WBS(Work Breakdown Structure)와 RBS(Risk Breakdown Structure)를 통해 구성되며, RBS에서 분류된 리스크 인자는 퍼지 분석기법을 통해 중요도(Weight)가 분석된다. 이 중요도는 4D 시각화를 위한 건설공사 객체(Object)의 속성 데이터로 지정된다. 또한 Object의 4D 시각화를 위한 방안으로는 4D 시뮬레이션기법이 활용되며, 등급별로 구분된 리스크 인자의 중요도와 4D 시뮬레이션을 통해 직접적인 건설공사 부위별 리스크관리 수준 확인과 부위별 리스크 인자의 시각화가 가능하도록 하는 방법론을 제시한다.

  • The purpose of this research is to find a better knowledge service R&D management process. There are four basic characteristics in service : intangibility, inseparability, inconsistency, and no inventory. These intrinsic characteristics require us to change the traditional manufacturing sector based R&D management process. It is necessary to develop an effective knowledge service R&D management model to improve the competitiveness of the service industry and Korean economy. A model case knowledge service R&D has been performed to find a better R&D management model. The whole cycle of R&D process, such as planning, selection, performing, and evaluation has been reviewed by real experience. Several important aspects of R&D process are compared between manufacturing R&D and service R&D. A knowledge service R&D management framework has been suggested. The results of this research can be used for building a better service R&D management process.

대공간 지붕 철골공사의 시공계획 중점관리항목 도출 (Deriving of Critical Factors for Construction Planning in Large Span Roof Construction)

  • Steel roof construction is on the most important and critical factors in the large spatial construction and necessary to be prepared under a radical planning. Therefore, the major management factors of steel roofing structure assembly must be critically reviewed during planning. Through the review process, it is necessary to reduce the construction cost, to prevent delays in the construction schedule, and to minimize construction errors. However, domestically due to the lack experience in large spatial constructions, a planning of roof construction is limited to have a radical planning. Especially due to unclear organization of the management factors in hierarchy, using them in reality for construction planning is difficult and reliability is low. Therefore, in this study, the goal is to conduct the major management factors in the large spatial construction. To achieve this, we have reviewed and analyzed the numbers of construction plans and construction reports and conducted a total 68 of the management factors. Based on the conducted factors, we have interviewed 16 experts with experience in large spatial construction. From the interview result, we have deduced the factors scored above 4.20 of 10 for critical factors. The results of this study will be used as a guidance for planning steel roofing structure assembly in large spatial construction. The critical factors will be provided to the site mangers for the quality management of large spatial constructions in practice.
