This study selected 3D printing that is highly likely to be adopted in schools. This research was conducted in two stages: 1) proposing the learning activity framework for utilizing 3D printing in education, and 2) exploring the potential of integrating 3D printing in the school field. The '3D printing learning activity framework' proposed in this study includes four phases that are categorized according to the complexity of problem-solving processes and collaborative interaction: Step 1 as production through replication, Phase 2 as means of imaginary expression, Phase 3 as near problem-solving, and Phase 4 as expanded problem-solving. Next, we conducted the field study with 23 students in the 6th grade math class where they learned the various solid shapes and volumes through 3D printing-integrated activities. The lesson was considered as Phase 1, which is the production through replication. Overall, the results showed that the participants had positive perceptions about the efficacy of 3D printing activities, the quality of learning experience, and satisfaction. On the other hand, it was found that the usability of 3D printers and CAD program needs further improvement The contribution of this study can be found in the learning activity framework that can guide 3D printing activity design in school, and in the exploration of enhancing the connection between 3D printing activities and curricular relevance beyond simple interest toward a novel technology.
This study is attempted for the purpose of clearly understanding the stressors which emergency medical technology students experience during clinical practice, giving guidance in desirable direction and improvement of clinical practice, and giving the basic materials so that emergency medical technology students may practice effectively. The design of this study was a descriptive survey. The subjects in this study were 59 emergency medical technology students who were 2nd grade in D college. The collection of questionnaires took 3 days from September 1, 1999 to September 3, 1999. This researcher explained the purpose of this study to students, after they agreed to this survey, the researcher gave the questionnaire to them, had them answer the questions and collected the questionnaire immediately. Data analysis included percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA trough SPSS computer program. The results of this study are, briefly, as follows; 1. In 'satisfaction-degree to specializing in the science of emergency medical technology' 27.1% of the subjects is revealed as 'satisfied' and in 'satisfaction-degree of clinical practice', 8.5% of the subjects is revealed as 'satisfied'. 2. Viewed from each of the categories of stressors which emergency medical technology students experience during clinical practice, 'ideals and values' is the category in which emergency medical technology students experience most severe stress at a mean 3.25 and 'personal relations' is the category in which emergency medical technology students experience mildest stress at a mean 2.82. The total stress degree mean is 3.06, which emergency medical technology students experience during clinical practice is revealed as 'moderate' stress. 3. Considering the stressor involved in each category, the results are as follows; (1) In 'environment', 'orientation to the hospital before clinical practice' is revealed as the most severe stressor at a menu 3.44. (2) In 'personal relations', 'relations with doctor and nurse' is revealed as the most severe stressor at a mean 3.59. (3) In 'role', 'unilaterally when their role is seems to be obscure' is revealed as the most severe stressor at a mean 4.10. (4) In 'ideals and values', 'difference between college practice and hospital practice' is revealed as the most severe stressor at a mean 3.88. (5) In 'activity', 'repetition of simple and functional work during clinical practice' is revealed as the most severe stressor at a mean 3.98. (6) In 'total stress factors', 'unilaterally when their role is seems to be obscure' is revealed as the most severe stress factor at a mean 4.10 and 'relations with comrade students' is revealed as the stress factor causing mildest stress at a mean 2.20. 4. Considering the relationship between the categories of stressors and the general characteristics, the results are as follows; (1) 'Environment' is revealed as being positively correlated with 'satisfaction degree of clinical practice'(F=3.53, p= .0359). (2) 'Ideals and values' is revealed as being correlated with 'sex'(t=-2.31, p= .0240) and 'satisfaction degree of clinical practice'(F=3.31, p= .0438).
The period after the PhD has a huge impact on the careers of researcher from a researcher lifecycle perspective. This is a turning point which student receives guidance from professor and become an independent researcher. Furthermore, they learn to develop ideas for independent research, apply for grants and manage a project; they also form expert networks in related filed and publish papers to share their findings. This study focuses on the period between earning doctoral degree and being employed as a stable position in university. This study starts from a research questions that asks which factors of postdoctoral experience affect research output. In this study, the paper performance, especially co-authorship of paper, of postdoctoral researchers was investigated. The cumulative advantage theory and Matthew effect were employed to shed a light on this research question. The empirical work is based on the Survey & Analysis of National R&D program in Korea conducted by Korea Institute of S&T Evaluation and Planning (KISTEP). The correlations between the research output and characteristics of postdoctoral experience were verified. These results are expected to contribute as new empirical evidences on investigating knowledge transfer activities of new PhDs.

As AR display virtual technology enters public learning life extensively, the way in which reality and virtual connection are connected is also changing. The purpose of this paper is to study the expression between the 3D connection sensory information visualization experience and virtual reality enhancement through the visual direction sensory information visualization experience of the plane. It is analyzed by examining the basic setting method compared to the current application of AR display and flat visualization cases. The scope of this paper is to enable users to have a better experience through the relationship with sensory visualization, centering on eye tracking technology in the four categories of AR display connection design: gesture connection, eye tracking, voice connection, and sensor. Focusing on eye tracking technology through AR display interaction and current application and comparative analysis of flat visualization cases, the geometric consistency of visual figures, light and color consistency, combination of multi-sensory interaction methods, rational content display, and smart push presented sensory visualization in virtual reality more realistically and conveniently, providing a simple and convenient sensory visualization experience to the audience.

Clinical experience of 48 acute pericarditis with effusion was reviewed and presented. There were 28 male and 20 female patients ranging from 3 years to 77 years old. Malignant effusion; Twenty patients had underlying malignancy. These etiologies were lung ca[8 patients, 40%], breast ca[7 patients 35%], lymphoma[2 patients, 10%], esophageal ca[1 patients, 5%], stomach ca[1 patient, 5%], ovarian ca[1 patient, 5%]. Uremic effusion; 15 patients with renal failure required surgical intervention. Traumatic effusion; 7 patients had traumatic pericarditis. These etiologies were stab wound [5 patients, 71.4%] and aspiration[2 patients, 28.6%]. Pyogenic effusion: 6 patients had pyogenic pericarditis. These etiologies were empyema thoracis[3 patients, 50%], liver abscess[2 patients, 33.3%], pneumonia[1 patient, 16.7%]. The patients were treated by pericardiocentesis, subxiphoid tube drainage, pericardiectomy: 4 of them underwent pericardiocentesis; 37, subxiphoid tube drainage; 5, pericardiectomy. We conclude that subxiphoid tube pericardial drainage was effective for treatment of pericardial effusion.

Purpose: This study aimed to describe nurses' experience in transition from new graduate nurses to professional clinical nursees in a hospital. Methods: Ten new clinical nurses working in a hospital participated in this study. Data collected through in-depth interviews were analyzed using phenomenology. Results: The analysis yielded five core category themes from new nurses for becoming a professional nurse: (a) beginning of hardship journey (b) feeling of inability in workplace (c) struggling hard to develop skills (d) enduring hardships by soothing oneself and peer support (e) beginning of an exciting journey. Conclusion: Over time, new nurses face many difficulties in transition to a professional status. To enhance the role development of new clinical nurses in hospital settings, nursing schools and clinical fields must teach and prepare them. Nursing schools should teach a strong theoretical base as well as nursing skills. In addition, in the clinical nursing department, education, teaching the integrated systems, staff development, support, evaluation, and feedback are needed for new nurses's development.

Purpose: To describe nursing students' experience of sexual harassment during clinical practicum. Methods: An interpretive phenomenological qualitative approach was used to understand contextual experiences of participants. Individual in-depth interviews were conducted to collect data from thirteen nursing students who experienced sexual harassment during clinical practice in general hospitals at D metropolitan city. All interviews were recorded and transcribed into Korean and English. Transcripts were analyzed using the data analysis method described by Diekelmann, Allen, and Tanner. Results: The following 12 themes emerged from the data: 'unprepared to respond', 'lack of education', 'unsure about when behavior crosses the line', 'power differential for nursing students', 'balancing self-preservation with obligations to patients', 'shame', 'feeling responsible for not being able to prevent the harassment', 'impact on patient care', 'fear of what might have happened', 'fear of repercussions', 'long term impact', and 'peer support'. Conclusion: Participants in this study described feeling an obligation to care for their patients. However, they seemed to be unable to balance this while feeling vulnerable to sexual harassment with strong negative feelings. Helping students recognize and effectively deal with sexual harassment is a critical element to assure quality learning for participants and maintain quality of care during clinical practice.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the factors of health beliefs, cultural barriers, and intentions of cervical cancer screening behaviors in married immigrant women and provide information for the development of intervention programs. Methods: The subjects were 207 married immigrant women living D and S cities, and G and Y counties. The data were collected from April to June 2019, using a self-report structured questionnaire that was translated into English, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean, and analyzed by the SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. Results: As a result of this study, it was found that the intention of cervical cancer screening for married immigrant women were high when they had a job (β=-.17, p=.014), experience of Pap testing within the past year (β=-.28, p<.001), experience of cervical cancer prevention education (β=-.18, p=.008), and a higher perceived sensitivity (β=.18, p=.016). All of these variables together explained 22% of the intention of cervical cancer screening behaviors in immigrant women married to Korean men. Conclusion: In order to increase the cervical cancer screening behaviors in married immigrant women, intervention strategies to increase perceived susceptibility and decrease cultural barriers for immigrant women should be developed.
The drone technology, which is receiving a lot of attention due to the 4th industrial revolution, requires an Unmanned Aerial Vehicles'(UAVs) flight path search algorithm for automatic operation and driver assistance. Various studies related to flight path prediction and recommendation algorithms are being actively conducted, and many studies using the A-Star algorithm are typically performed. In this paper, we propose an Optimal 3D Flight Path Recommendation System for unmanned aerial vehicles. The proposed system was implemented and simulated in Unity 3D, and by indicating the meaning of the route using three different colors, such as planned route, the recommended route, and the current route were compared each other. And obstacle response experiments were conducted to cope with bad weather. It is expected that the proposed system will provide an improved user experience compared to the existing system through accurate and real-time adaptive path prediction in a 3D mixed reality environment.

The conventional approach of looking down a microscope to perform microsurgical procedures is associated with occupational injuries, anti-ergonomic postures, and increased tremor and fatigue, all of which predispose microsurgeons to early retirement. Recently, three-dimensional (3D) visualization of real-time microscope magnification has been developed as an alternative. Despite its commercial availability, no supermicrosurgical procedures have been reported using this technology to date. Lymphovenous anastomoses (LVAs) often require suturing vessels with diameters of 0.2-0.8 mm, thus representing the ultimate microsurgical challenge. After performing the first documented LVA procedure using 3D-augmented visualization in our unit and gaining experience with this technique, we conducted an anonymized in-house survey among microsurgeons who had used this approach. The participants considered that 3D visualization for supermicrosurgery was equivalent in terms of handling, optical detail, depth resolution, and safety to conventional binocular magnification. This survey revealed that team communication, resident education, and ergonomics were superior using 3D digital hybrid visualization. Postoperative muscle fatigue, tremor, and pain were also reduced. The major drawbacks of the 3D visualization microscopic systems are the associated costs, required space, and difficulty of visualizing the lymphatic contrast used.
