  • The application of 4PL could allow for the efficiency of many logistics operations to be greatly increased, for costs to be reduced, and for operations to become more responsive to consumer demand. It is also possible that higher services level and lower cost products could become available as a consequence. However, in order to implementing 4PL actually it is very important to be met to fundamental determinants of 4PL such as formation of logistics experts group, providing of total logistics service, capacity of IT, implementation of e-Business model, capacity of logistics consulting, higher logistics service level, logistics cost reduction, re-engineering of logistics process, focus of core competence etc.

  • Development of digital information and internet technology causes the changes of technology environments and companies, and the variety of customers needs has been dynamically changed in terms of integrating information system with customers satisfaction. Moreover a new logistics concept is needed through the sharing information between suppliers and consumers, which maximizes the customers service and its flexibility by changing functional-oriented to process-oriented. Many research papers on transportation studies have focused on the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) and Vehicle Scheduling Problem (VSP). However in the real world, it is known that it takes long time to build vehicle scheduling in the process of transporting the amount of orders from the logistics center to the vendors due to the realistic constraints. This paper presents a framework design for each process enabling delivery planning automatically using heuristic algorithm. In addition, an interactive delivery planning system is implemented utilizing the proposed algorithm.

  • Terminal operators have provided special services such as loading, discharging, stowage of cargo to the owner, and carriers of the sea, which contribute the domestic and international logistics. For smooth flow of logistics, container terminal should reserve spaces for inbound and outbound logistics. However, if it is unable to provide the spaces, which can be caused by labour strikes or terminal lockouts and so on, national logistic system and financial management of terminal operators can be seriously affected. In order to minimize these kinds of problems, terminal operators impose high rate of charges ("overstorage charge") to the accumulated cargoes and/or containers, which are stipulated in terminal service agreement. Nevertheless, if there is no terminal service agreement with an owner of cargo and/or container, any kind of charge can cause legal problems (conflict ??) between the cargo and terminal operator. In this regard, I would like to study on the definition of overstorage charge and the legal issue of it based on the Busan district court's judgment. In particular, I will propose a special right of commercial lien and public auction for terminal operators to settle accumulated cargoes in container terminal.

  • 중소기업중앙회는 지난 2011년 6월 30일 중소기업협동조합법 개정을 통하여 "공제사업" 근거를 마련하고 중소기업 현장에서 발생할 수 있는 각종 위험에 대비할 수 있는 손해공제사업을 준비하여 2013년 11월 25일에 "파란우산공제"라는 브랜드로 출시하였습니다. 출범 당시에는 화재공제, 재산종합공제, 영업배상책임공제 3개 상품을 우선 출시하였으며, 다양한 중소기업의 공제(보험) 수요에 맞춰 최근(2014. 4. 22) 근로자재해공제, 단체상해 상품을 출시하였습니다. 한국골판지포장공업협동조합은 파란우산공제대리점으로 조합원사의 공제가입 업무를 진행하고 있습니다. 이와 관련하여 '골판지포장물류지'에서는 조합원사의 손해공제 비용 부담을 줄이기 위해 조합에 추진중인 파란우산공제 추진배경 및 상품에 대해 자세히 알려드리고자 합니다.

  • This paper's object is to study the Advanced Foreign's Third Party Logistics Trend & View at Global Logistics Times. So, I analysed the Advanced Foreign U.S. & EU and the results are as follows: First, a growth in the number of outsourcing relationships has contributed to the development of more flexible organizations, based on core competencies and mutually beneficial longer-term relationships. So, the development of logistics relationships has brought mixed results. Across many industries, logistics outsourcing is a rapidly expanding source of cost savings, competitive advantage, and customer service improvements. Thus, it appears that Third Party Logistics(TPL) concepts could be useful in meeting the goals of the 1ogistics function. Second, the field of logistics and supply chain management is becoming strategically important. At the same time, it is becoming increasingly complex because of the rapid advances in management methods, e-commerce, technology, and enabling information systems. However, Third Party Logistics provider, many a times, lack broad set of skills, integrating technologies, strategies and global reach. So, Fourth Party Logistics(4PL) is the next significant evolution in supply chain outsourcing. 4PL delivers a comprehensive supply chain solution, and delivers value through the ability to impact the entire supply chain. The 4PL industry is likely to grow as more companies use e-commerce at Global Logistics Times.

  • The start of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has brought about various changes in the domestic industry in general, and smart factories have spread to companies in the fields of production, manufacturing and logistics, and they are using automation equipment. Especially in the field of logistics automation, AGVs are widely used, and most of them use the line guidance system, which is the traditional AGV drive system. In addition, the demand for AGV system developers, system operators and managers, and maintenance personnel is increasing, and the installation of systems for education is expensive and requires a large space to utilize. It is a situation where systematic education is difficult. In this paper, we propose a virtual simulation-based AGV distance education model for smooth practice of trainees. The proposed model consisted of a model that can drive the AGV by analyzing video information, instead of the line guidance method that is the conventional technology. As a result of self-diagnosis evaluation, it was confirmed that the experimental group through online education had an average satisfaction level of 0.65 higher than the control group using existing equipment, and that it could be used in an online education environment.

The Changes of Technical Efficiency and Malmquist Productivity of Land Transportation by Region (지역에 따른 육상운송의 효율성과 생산성 분석)

  • Inland transportation system has been improving inefficiencies and structural problems due to excess of supply. Therefore, inland transportation market needs to reform its regional logistics structure in order to increase its competitiveness. To improve the solution, the research studied efficiencies and productivity of inland transportation systems in regions. In order to obtain specific facts, each cities' five years of (2005-2009) balanced panel data on inland transportation system has been studied. According to CCR and BCC analysis, Ul-San has been evaluated as the most efficient DMU during 2005-2008. In addition, in 2009, Seoul was the most efficient DMU. Also, according to Window analysis, Gwan-Ju and Gwangwon-do scored 0.062. Therefore, they were estimated as stable DMUs. According to Malmquist productivity analysis, average productivity indexes of four terms of Chungcheongnam-do and Chungcheongbuk-do haves been increased to 6.6% and 7.3%. I hope this study contributes to the improvement of regional inland transportation system.

  • In order for Busan New Port to secure more trading volumes than the competing ports at home and abroad, an alternative plan for the new port management policy needs to be sought. By the way, aiming to minimize trial and error while maximizing effect in establishing and driving the new port management policy, there is necessity of referring to the developmental strategies of the advanced ports such as Singapore and Hong Kong that are possessing the globally leading position as well as maximizing the substantial value added and the employment-creation effect even qualitatively. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to propose for a reasonable development strategy for Busan New Port in line with conditions and characteristics of Busan New Port by comparing and analyzing conditions and characteristics of these two advanced ports and by comparative analysis on the developmental strategy according to this.
