Analysis of Differences in Satisfaction with Remote Learning between Two-Year College Students and Four-Year University Students after the Outbreak of COVID-19 (코로나19로 시행된 원격수업에 대한 2년제 대학생과 4년제 대학생의 만족도 차이 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze differences in satisfaction with remote learning after the outbreak of COVID-19 between two-year college students and four-year university students. The analysis results regarding differences in satisfaction according to the types of remote learning were as follows: first, male students had greater satisfaction with the hybrid type of in-person and non-contact lecturers than female students; secondly, two-year college students had a higher level of satisfaction with all the types of remote learning than four-year university students; and thirdly, there were significant differences in students' satisfaction with the hybrid type of in-person and non-contact lectures according to the grades in a four-year university. The study then analyzed differences in satisfaction with the management and content of remote learning, interactions with professors, and exams and found that two-year college students exhibited a greater level of satisfaction than four-year university students. No significant differences were found in satisfaction with remote learning according to the grades both in two-year college students and four-year university students. The findings of the study demonstrate significant differences in overall satisfaction with remote-learning according to college and university types. That is, two-year college students had greater satisfaction with remote learning than four-year university students. It is critical to take into consideration the characteristics of students according to college and university types in the development process in order to raise the effects of remote learning based on these analysis results.

Relationships between Pedagogical Content Knowledge in Science Teaching of Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers and Their Attitude toward Science and Science Teaching Efficacy Belief (예비유아교사의 과학교수지식과 과학적 태도 및 과학교수 효능감 간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between the pedagogical content knowledge in science teaching of pre-service early childhood teachers and their attitude toward science and science teaching efficacy belief. A total of 294 pre-service early childhood teachers responded to a questionnaire that examined their pedagogical content knowledge in science teaching, attitude toward science, and science teaching efficacy belief. The results of this study were as follows: First, teachers had average pedagogical content knowledge in science teaching. The groups of 3rd and 4th grades were significantly higher than the 2nd grade group. Second, the teachers' recognition was below average in attitude toward science and science teaching efficacy belief. The groups of 3rd and 4th grades were significantly higher than the 2nd grade group. Third, a meaningful statistical relationship was found between the pedagogical content knowledge in science teaching of pre-service early childhood teachers and their attitude toward science and science teaching efficacy belief. As the score of pre-service early childhood teachers in pedagogical content knowledge in science teaching became higher, the score in attitude toward science and science teaching efficacy belief became higher.

  • Having analysed educational goals and admission examination types in four-year colleges and reviewed those types and their particularized orientations, this study expects one would take into account the following considerations: First, the end users, high schools, are able to obtain collect information on colleges or universities for the preparedness for admission. Second, they can derive their optimum standard practical examination types fit to animation. Third, objectivity, transparency and reliability can be secured for college admission examinations. Finally, colleges may utilize themselves as the foundation to reinforce their specialization, providing examines with specialized information on particularized colleges.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the necessity of introduction of NCS curriculum for culture and arts management at four - year college and whether NCS education is helpful for employment and acquiring certification. For this purpose, we set up the research model "Culture Arts Management NCS Education, Necessity of NCS curriculum introducing at 4-year universities, Help in employment and business performance" and surveyed. As a result, Chronbach's Alpha coefficients were calculated as 0.821, 0.807, and 0.830 and the internal consistency was secured. The validity analysis of the measured variables was also calculated above the reference value(0.5). And it was found that both intensive validity and discriminant validity were secured. As a result of the hypothesis test, the standardization coefficients were 0.608 and 0.977, and both hypotheses showed positive (+) relationship. Therefore, each research hypothesis was highly correlated.

  • 최근 인터넷 등의 급속한 보급 및 상용화에 따라 인터넷을 통한 다양한 정보서비스가 널리 이루어지고 있다. 이것은 컴퓨터와 네트워크에 의한 결합으로 구성하여 이루어지고 있는데, 이러한 상황에서 해킹 등의 정보화의 역기능으로부터 정보를 어떤 형태로 보호할 것인가의 문제가 사회적으로나 국가적 차원에서 급속도로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 시대적 요구에 부응하기 위해 현재 정보보호분야에 대한 인력을 체계적으로 양성하기 위한 각종 대책이 정부나 교육기관에서 수립되어지고 있다. 정부는 이미 정보보호기술개발 5개년 계획을 수립하여 현재 각종 사업과 프로젝트를 진행하고 있으며, 또한 국내 전국의 여러 대학에서도 이러한 국내외 흐름을 감지하여 정보보호분야와 관련된 학과(전공)의 설립 등을 통해 체계적인 인력양성방안을 수립 추진하고 있다. 실제로 대학의 정보보호분야에 대한 교육목표설정, 교재개발, 교육과정의 설계, 실험 실습실의 구축과 교원확보 등 많은 부분에 대한 준비를 시작하고 있는데, 현실적으로 대부분의 대학들이 학부과정에서 지도해야 할 부분은 정보를 보호하기 위한 기술습득에 필요한 기초지식일것으로 사료된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이와 관련하여 전국 4년제 주요 대학에 신 증설된 정보보호 관련학과의 현황과 교육과정을 살펴보고 분석하여 향후 교육과정모델과 교육방향에 대해 고찰하고자 한다.

  • 기존에 4년제 대학 졸업생 대상의 '광학기사'와 전문계 고등학교 졸업자 대상의 '광학기능사'가 있었다면 2012년 신설되는 '광학기기산업기사'는 2년제 전문대학을 졸업하는 학생을 대상으로 한 광학관련 국가자격증이다. 광학기사 및 광학기능사 자격증 제도가 응시인원이 적다는 이유로 여러 번 폐지 위기에 놓였던 상황에서 생겨난 광학기기산업기사 자격증이 과연 제역할을 할 수 있을지 우려의 시각도 없지 않다. 그러나 이번기회를 통해 광학기능사, 광학기기산업기사, 광학기사 등 자격 제도의 활성화 방안을 구체화시켜 전문인력 양성 및 산업발전의 토대를 만들어야 한다고 전문가들은 입을 모은다.

Networked Structure and Message Types of Newspaper Advertisements about Universities in Daegu and Gyeongbuk provinces in Korea: A Social Network Analysis (사회연결망 분석을 활용한 대학의 신문광고 게재 구조와 메시지 유형: 대구·경북 지역을 중심으로)

  • This study examined the networked structure and message types of newspapers advertisements in which universities have put in Daegu and Gyeongbuk provinces in Korea. Data were collected from July to September in 2020. As a result, universities preferred newspapers located in Daegu and Pohang areas. Next, universities have emphasized their cooperations with industries, basic competency capacities, and specialization programs in the advertising messages. When analyzing the findings in terms of university level, key words related to mid- to long-term development plans often appeared in the four-year schools. On the other hand, two or three-year universities frequently used an appeal that emphasized tangible performances. The findings showed the way in which the direction of university newspaper advertisements have been set in line with the rapidly changing environment.

Study on Students' Consciousness Regarding Their Plans after Graduation (경호학 전공 만족도와 진로의식 조사)

  • This study aims to grasp the general conditions regarding university students in security related majors in Korea. Followings will be covered here: what motivated them to choose those majors, hw much are they git jobs through the education, what is their conscioucness on their majors, jobs, and courses like, and what effects their job preference. And ths study also aims at helping the student with their future plans such as admission to a school of higher grade and choosing their job. For this study, we distributed 340 copies to the students in security related majors at 4 four-year colleges and 1 two-year college, and collected 298 copies by means of quota sampling method. For collected questionnaires, we used individual T-test verification and one-way ANOVA analysis to grasp the situation. Significance stabdard for the test results was set as p<0.05. Followings are the test results. The results on analysis of satisfaction rate on their curriculums, classes, and majors show that students in security-related majors showed different satisfaction rate and different averages according to their sex and the year of the college. In the analysis on the relationship between major education and employment of students in security-related majors, the result of curriculum improvement and scholaril attainments analysis showed statistically significant relation. When students in security-related majors were surveyed on their consciousness of their future plans such as getting jibs, two-year college students had more certificates of qualification for employment than four-year college students.

  • 기계공학을 비롯한 공학교육에 있어 기반구성이 없는 상태에서 1970년대에 도입된 실험대학제 도는 그 본래의 실험적이고 이상적인 취지에도 불구하고 시행에 있어서의 획일성과 제도의 통 일을 위한 경직성으로 오늘날 공과대학교육에 심각한 부작용을 가져오고 있다. 공과대학은 전 문교육의 장이 아니라 점차 교양교육의 장으로 변모되어가고 있다. 최근에 공학교육의 전문성을 대학원교육에서 찾으려는 일부견해가 있으나 엔지니어의 기본교육이 4년제 공과대학교육이며 또한 대학원교직의 특성이 연구적임을 감안할 때 우리나라의 경제수준을 고려하지 않더라도 잘 못된 견해임을 알 수 있다. 만일 현재와 같이 교양적인 기계엔지니어만을 계속 배출한다면, 기 술혁명의 와중에서 생존하려는 우리민족의 노력에 심각한 타격을 줄 것이 틀림없다. 본 학회 공 업교육부문위원회는 이와 같은 급박한 현황을 타개하기 위한 첫 시도로써 4년제 공과대학의 현 황과 교육과정을 검토하기로 한다.
