Phosphate Adsorption Characteristics of a Filter Medium, Adphos, and Its Efficiency by the Filtration Experiment Combined with the Vegetation Mat (Adphos 여재의 인 흡착특성과 식생 매트와 결합한 여과실험에 의한 효율)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze phosphate adsorption characteristic of the filter media applied in water purification technology. And it is also to observe the removal efficiency of the technology that was developed by combining the purification abilities of filter media and the vegetation mat. The filter media, Adphos, is the subject of this study. The result of adsorption test shows that $PO_4{^{3-}-P}$ adsorption characteristics of Adphos is determined by the Langmuir isotherm model fitting and the $q_m$ (maximum adsorption amount) value is calculated as 1.162 mg/g. To verify the removal efficiency of the purification technology, a lab-scale reactor, including a 400 mm depth of filter bed filled by Adphos, was manufactured. Yellow flag Iris (Iris pseudacours L.) was planted on the vegetation bed and the coir-roll was used to fix the root of vegetation. The reactor ran 8 hours per day over 71 days, and the results of filtration experiment show that average removal efficiency of SS, T-N and T-P were calculated as 94%, 41% and 64% respectively. With these results, it was proved that the purification technology is highly effective. And for the long-time use, a maintenance guide is also required.

  • The domestic information security market is booming, For the development of the information security industry. I wanted to suggest a strategy for finding and developing a good business model. So the main products were classified by similar industries. And The sector was selected as the dependent variable. Expert interviews were conducted and classified according to technical maturity. Independent variables were sales, number of employees, and performance. Average analysis result, sales amounted to 8.798 billion won, 13.51 years in industry, and 64.3 employees. As a result of SPSS statistical analysis, the correlation between industry type and sales according to technical maturity (r = -.729) was within 5% of significance level. The regression results were significant. (p= .047<0.05) Therefore, industry classification and sales are related to technological maturity.

Analysis on the Effect of Lordosis Changes at Lumbar Joint using 3-dimensional Musculoskeletal Model (근골격계 모델을 이용한 요추전만 각도 변화가 요추 관절에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • It is important to consider lumbar lordotic angle for setup of training program in field of sports and rehabilitaton to prevent unexpected posture deviation and back pain. The purpose of this study was to analyze the biomechanical impact of the level of lumbar lordosis angle during isokinetic exercise through dynamic analysis using a 3-dimensional musculoskeletal model. We made each models for normal lordosis, excessive lordosis, lumbar kyphosis, and hypo-lordosis according to lordotic angle and inputted experimental data as initial values to perform inverse dynamic analysis. Comparing the joint torques, the largest torque of excessive lordosis was 16.6% larger and lumbar kyphosis was 11.7% less than normal lordosis. There existed no significant difference in the compressive intervertebral forces of each lumbar joint (p>0.05), but statistically significant difference in the anterioposterior shear force (p<0.05). For system energy lumbar kyphosis required the least and most energy during flexion and extension respectively. Therefore during the rehabilitation process, more efficient training will be possible by taking into consideration not simply weight and height but biomechanical effects on the skeletal muscle system according to lumbar lordosis angles.

3D-QSAR Analysis on the Fungicidal Activity with N-Phenylbenzenesulfonamide Analogues against Phytophthora blight (Phytophthora capsici) and Prediction of Higher Active Compounds (고추역병균(Phytophthora capsici)에 대한 N-Phenylbenzenesulfonamide 유도체들의 살균활성에 관한 3D-QSAR 분석과 고활성 화합물의 예측)

  • 3D-QSARs on the fungicidal activity of N-phenylbenzenesulfonamide and N-phenyl-2-thienylsulfonamide analogues (1-37) against Phytophthora blight (Phytophthora capsici) were studied quantitatively using CoMFA and CoMSIA methods. The statistical results of the optimized CoMFA (2) model ($r^2_{cv.}(q^2)$ = 0.692 & $r^2_{ncv.}$= 0.965) show better predictability and fitness than CoMSIA (2) model ($r^2_{cv.}(q^2)$ = 0.796 & $r^2_{ncv.}$= 0.958). The fungicidal activities according to the information of the optimized CoMFA (2) model were dependent upon the steric and electrostatic fields of the molecules. Therefore, from the contribution contour maps of CoMFA (2) model, it is expected that 63% contribution was caused by the steric bulk of meta-substituent ($R_1$) on the S-phenyl ring. Also, the other contribution level of 32.9% was represented by the positive charged $R_4-group$ ($R_1$) on the N-phenyl ring and para-substituent ($R_1$) on the S-phenyl ring. A series of higher active compounds, $R_1$= 3-decyl substituent ($pred.pI_50$= 5.88) etc. were predicted based on the findings.

  • A p-version finite element model based on degenerate shell element is proposed tot the analysis of orthotropic laminated plates. In the nonlinear formulation of the model, the total Lagrangian formulation is adopted with large deflection and moderate rotation being accounted tot in the sense of yon Karman hypothesis. The material model is based on the Huber-Mises yield criterion and Prandtl-Reuss flow rule in accordance with the theory of strain hardening yield function, which is generalized lot anisotropic materials by introducing the parameters of anisotropy. The model is also based on extension of equivalent-single layer laminate theory(ESL theory) with shear deformation, leading to continuous shear strain at the interface of two layers. The integrals of Legendre polynomials are used for shape functions with p-level varying from 1 to 10. Gauss-Lobatto numerical quadrature is used to calculate the stresses at the nodal points instead of Gauss points. The validity of the proposed P-version finite element model is demonstrated through several comparative points of iew in terms of ultimate load, convergence characteristics, nonlinear effect, and shape of plastic tone.

  • The crystal structure of P-toluenesulfonanilide, C13H13NO2S is monoclinic, space group P21/c, a=8.777(1)Å, b=9.784(2)Å, c=15.139(2)Å, β=99.00(1)°, Z=4, V=1284.0(6)Å3, Dc=1.28g/cm33, λ(Mo-Kα)=0.71069Å, μ=2.3cm-1, F(000)=520, Temperature : 293±3K, R=0.038 for 711 Fo<3.0σ unique observed reflection. The structure was determuned by direct method and refined by full-matrix least squares refinement. Two benzene rings have the dihedral angle of 68.4°. Moleculs are accumulated according to the c axis with two fold screw and contacted by van der Walls force.

Removal of phosphorus from solution using bark with polyallylamine hydrochloride (Polyallylamine hydrochloride로 처리한 수피를 이용한 수용액상의 인 제거)

  • 본 연구는 목재로서 활용가치가 적은 수피(bark)를 활용하여 수질오염물질을 제거할 수 있는 여과 시스템에 대한 기초연구로서 소나무의 일종인 loblolly pine(Pinus taeda L.) 수피의 인 ($PO_4-P$) 흡착특성을 연구하였다. 실험에 사용된 수피는 입상형태로서 polyallylamine hydrochloride로 전처리하여 회분식 등온 흡착실험을 수행하였다. 회분식 등온흡착실험은 수용액 pH 3~pH 8범위에서, 인의 농도별(10, 20, 30, 40 mg/L)로 수행하였다. pH 5에서 가장 높은 인 제거 효율을 나타냈으며, 수용액의 pH는 실험 후 pH 3으로 감소하였다. 이러한 감소는 수피에 의한 phosphate의 흡착이 Lewis acid-base 반응으로서 이 과정에서 $H^+$의 방출로 인하여 나타난 현상인 것으로 여겨지며, 주된 반응 메카니즘은 더 연구할 필요성이 있다. 인 흡착은 초기에 빠른 속도로 진행되었으며 대략 200분 이후에 평형에 도달하였고, 시간이 지날수록 흡착양이 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 인의 흡착특성 결과는 Langmuir 등온흡착식과 Freundlich 등온흡착식으로 설명될 수 있으며, 등온흡착식 적용결과, 흡착제에 대한 최대 흡착능은 7.14 mg/g 이며 다른 흡착제와 비교하여 더 높았다. 실험결과와 모델에 의한 흡착능을 비교하고자 pseudo second-order model을 적용하여 흡착 동역학 상수를 구하였다. 또한 EDXA분석으로 회분식 흡착실험 후 수피와 인이 결합되어있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Rainfall Interception by and Quantitative Models for Urban Landscape Trees - For Seven Native Species - (도시조경수의 우수차집 효과와 계량모델 - 7개 향토수종을 대상으로 -)

  • This study developed quantitative models to estimate the rainfall interception by seven native landscape tree species based on throughfall measurements. The tree species considered in this study were Abies holophylla, Acer palmatum, Ginkgo biloba, Pinus densiflora, Pinus koraiensis, Prunus yedoensis, and Zelkova serrata, which are frequently planted in the Korea. Among these species, 35.8% of the annual precipitation was intercepted by P. koraiensis, 34.1% by A. holophylla, 31.0% by Z. serrata, 27.6% by P. densiflora, 26.9% by G. biloba, 18.6% by A. palmatum, and 18.4% by P. yedoensis. All the quantitative models showed high fitness with r2 values of 0.90-0.99. The annual rainfall interception from a tree with DBH of 20 cm were greatest with Z. serrata (5.1 m3/yr), followed by P. koraiensis (4.1 m3/yr), A. holophylla (3.1 m3/yr), G. biloba (2.8 m3/yr), P. densiflora (2.1 m3/yr), P. yedoensis (1.9 m3/yr), and A. palmatum (1.8 m3/yr) in order. Thus, evergreen tree species or those with a relatively high crown density were more effective in intercepting rainfall. In particular, the annual rainfall interception by Z. serrata was the greatest because its crown area, volume, and density were higher than those of the other species. This study pioneers in quantifying annual rainfall interception for landscape tree species in Korea. The study results can be useful for evaluating rainfall interception by landscape trees in urban greenspace design for governments and corporations.

산성강하물 피해예상 산림토양의 이화학적 특성과 산성우에 의한 이들 토양의 화학성 변화

  • 산성강하물이 산림토양에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 오염이 우려되는 공단지역(울산, 여천)과 대도시지역(서울, 부산), 그리고 비오염지역인 대조지역(평창, 삼천포)을 대상으로 이들 지역의 산림토양의 특성을 조사하였다. 또한, 이들지역 각각을 대표할 수 있는 산림토양에 인공산성비를 유출시켜 토양의 화학적 성질의 변화를 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. - 조사지역별 토성분포는 일정한 경향을 보이지 않았으며, 전체 조사지역 토성은 양토(29.0%), 식양토(22.9%), 사양토(18.3%) 3종류가 분포율이 높았고, 이들이 전체의 70.2%를 차지하였다. - 조사지역 전체 산림토양 표토의 pH($H_2O$)는 4.41~5.14 범위로 평균 4.49이고, 심토의 pH($H_2O$)는 4.54 ~ 5.22 범위로 평균 4.69이었다. 지역별로 보면 공단지역(4.44) < 대도시지역(4.57) < 대조지역(5.08) 순서로 토양 pH가 낮은 경향을 나타냈다. - 염기포화도는 3.07 ~ 21.83% 범위이고, 평균값은 7.71%이었다. 지역별 비교에서는 대조지역(19.14%) > 공단지역(6.54%) > 대도시지역(5.60%) 순서로 높은 경향을 보였다. - 치환성 Al 함량은 2.13 ~ 5.59cmol(+)/kg 범위이고 평균 4.62cmol(+)/kg이었다. 지역별 비교에서는 대조지역(2.34) < 대도시지역(3.23) < 공단지역(5.20) 순서로 낮은 경향을 나타냈다. - 4종의 인공산성우(pH 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 및 5.6)를 산림토양에 유출시킨 결과 인공산성우의 유출량이 증가함에 따라 토양유출액의 pH 감소, 토양염기의 유실이 지속적으로 나타났고, AL과 Mn의 용탈량이 증가하는 경향을 나타내었는데, 이러한 현상은 pH 3.0 인공산성우 유출시에 시작되어 pH 2.0에서 뚜렸하였다. - 인공산성우 토양유출 실험결과 울산, 남산 및 평창토양은 H 부하량의 증가에 따른 치환성염기 및 Al과 Mn의 용탈양상은 Sigmoid curve인 y = a/{1+exp(-c+bx)} 모델식에 따랐다.
