Purpose: Traumatic airway injuries have high rates of mortality and morbidity. Thus, we evaluated the clinical results of trauma-related airway-injury patients. Methods: A clinical analysis was performed for patients with airway trauma who were admitted and treated at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Konyang University Hospital from Dec. 2002 to Dec. 2009. Results: Sixteen patients were admitted and treated. Fourteen patients were male, and the ages of the patients ranged from 16 to 75 years. Six cases were penetrating injuries, 4 were traffic-accident injuries. 3 were fall injuries, and. 3 were other blunt trauma injuries. Anato- mic injuries included 14 trachea cases (87.5%), 1 Rt. main bronchus (6.25%), and 1 Lt. main bronchus cases (6.25%). Diagnosis was made by using computed tomography and bronchoscopy. Five patients were treated with an explothoracotomy, and 7 underwent neck exploration with primary repair. Three patients simply needed conservative management, and 1 patient was treated with a closed thoracostomy. The post-operative mortality rate was 6.25 % (1 patient). Conclusion: Airway trauma is dangerous and should be treated as an emergency, so a high index of suspicion is essential for rapid diagnosis and successful surgical intervention in patients with airway injuries.

This study was carried out to investigate effects of sowing dates and method on major agronomic characteristics of Dendropanax morbifera $L_{EV}$. in southern area of Korea. The number of days from sowing to emergence was recognized liner negative correlation between sowing days. Dendropanax morbifera was sowed at seven different dates(from Dec.20 to Feb.20 at 30 days interval, from Mar, 1 to Apr. 15 at 15 days interval) in pot culture. In sowing date at Mar. 15, germination rate and early growth were good in pot. Dendropanax morbifera was sowed at five different dates(from Dec.20 to Apr.15 at 15 days interval) in field culture. In sowing date at Apr.15, germination rate and early growth were good in field culture.

This study was conducted a comprehensive survey of 39 elementary schools operating school lunch program in Seoul area. The purpose of this study was to investigate the realities of school lunch program. This method of the research was based on the interview survey with dietitian working at each school with prepared questionnaire. The survey was conducted for 16 days from Dec. 5 to Dec. 20., 1990. The results of this study were as follows ; (1) The average numbers of children supplied with food were 1,244 for each school. It was about 44.3Bb of the students enrolled in the school. The average feeding cost was 738 won per a child for a day. (2) Only one school was operating nutritional education as a regular educational program, and others were operating nutritional education off and on. (3) All nutrient intake except energy were higher than the RDA for school lunch program. (4) The ratio of animal food was 46.2%, and that of vegetable food was 53.8%. (5) The ratio of schools without sterilizer cabinet came to 56.4%, and that of schools without warmer was 97.4%. (6) The facilities for drainage, lighting, ventilation, anti-rat of a cookery were comparatively good.

Current and capacitance-voltage characteristics of tunnel field effect transistor (TFET) with various quantum models were investigated. Density gradient, Bohm quantum potential (BQP), and Vandort quantum correction are used with calibrating against Schrodinger-Poisson model. Drive-currents in all models. are decreased. When only BQP is used, SS and $V_{onset}$ are fixed but drive-current is decreased 3 times more than those of no quantum model. And When BQP with Vandort and density gradient are used, SS increased more than 40 mV./dec and $V_{onset}$ shifted as 0.07 eV.

Among the promising cancer therapy is targeting of the drug to tumor cells via receptor specific ligands. CR2945, $\beta$-2-( ［2-(8-azaspiro ［4.5］ dec-8-ylcarbony!)-4.6-dimethylphenyl］amino-2-oxoethyl］ -(R)-1-naphthalenepropanoic acid. is known to have an inhibitory effect on a gastrin receptor of colorectal cancer cells. As the human pancreatic cancer cells (BxPC-3) express gastrin receptors. interruption of binding of gastrin with gastrin receptor of human pancreatic cancer cells by CR2945 inhibits the growth of human pancreatic cancer cells. This paper describes the fabrication and characterization of dual-polysilicon gated surface channel 0.1$\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOSFETs using BF2 and arsenic as channel dopants. We have used and LDD structure and 40${\AA}$ gate oxide as an insulator. To suppress short channel effects down to 0.1$\mu\textrm{m}$ channel length, shallow source/drain extensions implemented by low energy implantation and SSR(Super Steep Retrograde) channel structure were used. The threshold voltages of fabricated CMOSFETs are 0.6V. The maximum transconductance of nMOSFET is 315${\mu}$S/$\mu\textrm{m}$, and that of pMOSFET is 156 ${\mu}$S/$\mu\textrm{m}$. The drain saturation current of 418 ${\mu}$A/$\mu\textrm{m}$, 187${\mu}$A/$\mu\textrm{m}$ are obtained. Subthreshold swing is 85mV/dec and 88mV/dec, respectively. DIBL(Drain Induced Barrier Lowering) is below 100mV. In the device with 2000${\AA}$ thick gate polysilicon, depletion in polysilicon near the gate oxide results in an increase of equivalent gate oxide thickness and degradation of device characteristics. The gate delay time is measured to be 336psec at operation voltage of 2V.

The initial irreversible capacity, $Q_i$, is one of the parameters to express the material balancing of the cathode to anode. We introduced new terms, which are the initial intercalation Ah efficiency (IIE) and the initial irreversible specific capacity at the surface ($Q_{is}$), to express precisely the irreversibility of an electrode/electrolyte system. Two terms depended on kinds of active-materials and compositions of the electrode, but did not change with charging state. MPCF had the highest value of IIE and the lowest value of $Q_{is}$ in 1M $LiPE_6$/EC + DEC (1 : 1 volume ratio) electrolyte. IIE value of $LiCoO_2$ electrode was 97-98%, although the preparation condition of the material and the electrolyte were different. $Q_{is}$ value of $LiCoO_2$ was 0~1 mAh/g. MPCF-$LiCoO_2$ cell system had the lowest of the latent capacity. $Q_{is}$ value increased slightly by adding conductive material. IIE and $Q_{is}$ value varied with the electrolyte. By introducing PC to EC+DEC mixed solvent, IIE values were retained, but $Q_{is}$ increased. In case of addition of MP, IIE value increased and $Q_{is}$ value also increased a little.

We collected seven species of shellfish; all originating from the southern coastal areas of Korea, from a market every three months from Dec. 2001 to Sept. 2002, and determined the total polychlorinated biphenyl(PCB) levels by the sum of 26 individual congener levels. A GC-ECD system was applied for identification and quantification of these PCB congeners. Mussel showed the highest level in Sept. 2002 at 34.5 ng/g dry weight(d.w.). All species except mussel showed the lowest total PCB level in Dec. 2001 and their levels in tissue ranged from 0.6 to 5.5 ng/g d.w. The total PCB levels ranged from 0.8 to 17.3 ng/g in Mar. 2002, 2.2 to 9.5 ng/g in June 2002, and 1.8 to 34.5 ng/g d.w. in Sept. 2002. The principal congener group was penta-CBs, which accounted for 32% of the total PCBs, followed by hexa-CBs at 23%, and tetra-CBs at 21%.

본 연구에서는 산소 분압과 열처리 온도에 따른 ITZO 박막 트랜지스터의 전기적 특성 향상을 목적으로 실험을 진행하였다. 1) ITZO 박막 증착 시 산소 분압 가변($O_2/(Ar+O_2)$ 30~40%), 열처리 온도 고정($350^{\circ}C$)과 2) ITZO 박막 증착 시 산소 분압 고정(30%), 열처리 온도($200{\sim}400^{\circ}C$)를 가변하여 실험을 진행하였다. 두 실험 모두 특성향상을 위해 산소 분위기에서 열처리를 진행하였다. 산소의 분압이 증가할수록 산소 빈자리를 채우면서 전자 농도가 감소하여 채널 전도 효과가 줄어들면서 Hump 현상이 발생하였고, 스윙이 증가, 문턱 전압이 음의 방향으로 이동하였다. 이에 $O_2/(Ar+O_2)$)의 30%에서 30%일때, 문턱전압은 1.98 V, 전계 효과 이동도는 28.97 $cm2/V{\cdot}s$, sub-threshold swing은 280 mv/dec, on-off 비율은 ~107로 가장 우수한 전기적 특성을 보였다. 또한 열처리 온도 가변 시 $400^{\circ}C$에서 전계 효과 이동도는 28.97 $cm^2/V{\cdot}s$로 $200^{\circ}C$의 전계 효과 이동도는 11.59 $cm^2/V{\cdot}s$에 비해 약 3배 증가하였고, 소자의 스위칭 척도인 sub-threshold swing은 약 180 mv/dec 감소하였다. 문턱 전압은 0.97V, on-off ratio는 약 107을 보였다. 동일한 산소 분압의 분위기에서 $400^{\circ}C$ 열처리 시 가장 우수한 전기적 특성을 보였고, 저온 공정으로 인한 플렉서블 디스플레이 투명 디스플레이 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.
