  • 본 논문은 스테레오 3D 비디오 시청 시 나타날 수 있는 불편감이나 어지러움 증상을 유발하는 요인들을 찾아내어 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 그 방법으로 2가지의 스테레오 3D 콘텐츠를 피험자들이 시청을 하고, 시청하는 동안 불편감이나 어지러움 증상이 나타나면 키를 누르게 하여 측정을 하였다. 콘텐츠에 대해서는 관심영역(ROI, Region of Interest)에 대하여 변위의 크기와 변화정도에 대한 데이터 정보를 도출하였다. 그래서 각 콘텐츠에 대해서 도출한 정보를 가지고 피험자들이 콘텐츠를 시청하면서 느낀 불편감과 어지러움에 대한 원인들을 분석하였다.

A performance Evaluation and Development of 3D Endoscopic Imaging system

  • This paper represents the design of 3D endoscopic video system in order to improve visualization and enhance the ability of the surgeon to perform delicate endoscopic surgery. In comparison of the polarized and electric shutter-type stereo imaging system, The former is superior in terms of accuracy and performance speed for knot-tying and loop pass test. The result of experiments show that the proposed 3D endoscopy system has a wide viewing angle and zone which is necessary for multi-view and it has better image quality and stability of the optical performances than the electric shutter-type does.

Real-Time Visual Production using Unity 3D

  • Generally, the animation and image production process consists of three stages: Pre-Production, Main-Production, and Post-Production. Real-time video production is also made based on this configuration. On the premise of the increase of productivity by reducing the production time effectively in the main production stage that takes the most time, this study aims to summarize the process of producing videos, focusing on the concrete main production stage. To do this, we propose a method for creating a real-time image from the point of view of the general user using Unity 3D, one of the game engines. Also, this study utilizes the Cinemachine feature provided by Unity 3D, which is suitable for the implementation of the proposed module structure.

  • The 3-D shape use to effect of movie, animation, industrial design, medical treatment service, education, engineering etc.... But it's not easy to make 3-D shape from the information of 2-D image. There are two methods in restoring 3-D video image through 2-D image; First the method of using a laser; Secondly the method of acquiring 3-D image through stereo vision. Instead of doing two methods with many difficulties, I figure out the method of simple 3-D image in this research paper. We present here a simple and efficient method, called direct calibration, which doesn't require any equations at all. The direct calibration procedure builds a lookup table(LUT) linking image and 3-D coordinates by a real 3-D triangulation system. The LUT is built by measuring the image coordinates of a grid of known 3-D points, and recording both image and world coordinates for each point; the depth values of all other visible points are obtained by interpolation.

  • This paper presents a novel three-dimensional (3D) object encryption scheme by combining the use of the virtual optics and the chaotic sequence. A virtual 3D object is digitally produced using a two-dimensional (2D) elemental image array (EIA) created with a virtual pinhole array. Then, through a logistic mapping of chaotic sequence, a final encrypted video can be produced. Such method converts the value of a pixel which is the basic information of an image. Therefore, it gives an improved encryption result compared to other existing methods. Through computational experiments, we were able to verify our method's feasibility and effectiveness.

  • With the rapid growth of 3D content industry fields, 3D content-based hashing (or hash function) has been required to apply to authentication, trust and retrieval of 3D content. A content hash can be a random variable for compact representation of content. But 3D content-based hashing has been not researched yet, compared with 2D content-based hashing such as image and video. This paper develops a robust 3D content-based hashing based on key-dependent 3D surface feature. The proposed hashing uses the block surface coefficient using shape coordinate of 3D SSD and curvedness for 3D surface feature and generates a binary hash by a permutation key and a random key. Experimental results verified that the proposed hashing has the robustness against geometry and topology attacks and has the uniqueness of hash in each model and key.

  • This paper presents a novel Viterbi decoding architecture for European Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) receiver. The channel sate information (CSI) of each sub carrier is used to weight the bit-metric of each symbol. The weighted bit-metric is delivered to Viterbi decoder after going through the symbol deinterleaver and bit deinterleaver, such that the CSI can be correctly applied to corresponding bits even after the two interleavings. Simulation shows that the new architecture gives significant performance enhancement of 6~13dB in Rayleigh fading channels depending on the modulation types. This results is also better than previous results by 3.7~10.3dB.

  • With the advent of the fourth industrial revolution era, the use of drone has been progressing rapidly in various fields. Now the drones will be used extensively in the area of investigation. Until now the criminal photographs stayed in 2D digital images, it would be possible to reproduce not only 3D images but also make a crime scene with 3D printer. Firstly, the video images taken by the investigation agency using the drones are digital image evidence, and the requirements for securing the evidence capability are not different from the conditions for obtaining the proof of digital evidence. However, when the drones become a new area of scientific investigation, it is essential to systematize the authenticity of the images taken by the drones so that they can be used as evidence. In this paper, I propose a method to secure the evidence capability of digital images taken by drone.

  • This study offers the possibility of a new integrated product of video technology and public culture content. The Development of 'the Urinal of Emotional Type with Screen' will introduce a new sanitary pottery product and it will be a new attempt to combine hygiene pottery product with high-tech electronic product. It is a product development idea that presents the new marketability of the sanitary pottery product with the improvement of awareness of the restroom and the idea of wit through public information notification and advertisement effect. For the commercialization of the product, the prototype will be made through a separate production process with the design of this project, through 3D rendering, 3D mockup and so on. Various product expansions can be consulted with manufacturers after that. It is a new approach of image making with high quality and differentiated pricing strategy, that targeting small-scale business, such as franchise coffee shops and liquor stores with high quality and differentiated pricing strategy, and it will lead the market trend with various marketing availability through differentiated video contents.
