Authoring Software Development of 3D Natural Environment for Realistic Contents (실감형 콘텐츠 제작을 위한 3D 자연환경 저작 소프트웨어 개발)

  • Nowadays, many graphic researchers are interested in 3D outdoor environment. They want to express more realistic natural background with natural phenomenon because computer hardware has become more powerful and increased a demand for a background of 3D natural environment in a content. Especially, e-sports contents and simulation contents with outdoor environment need more natural environment for a background than indoor contents. It is very important technology for a quality of 3D outdoor contents. We propose a software EMtool(Environment Making Tool) for authoring of natural environment for realistic contents. EMtool has been developed to depict relationship and interaction between natural phenomena and include methods for creating natural environment and natural objects. The proposed results are applied to real-time 3D contents such as 3D golf games and simulations for natural objects.

  • The education of kindergarten children through 3D animation software, introducing them to water pollution a most serious environmental problem through this software program, children learn about environmental protection and how to practice it. also we provide about publicity animation content for the environment education at kindergarten. so we can show and teach to the infants systematic environment education by improving their environment understanding and sensibility and then we are realized 3D animation that we can bring up in practice direction in the kindergarten.

  • This paper designed 3D animation in consideration of human characteristics to stimulate their interest and to be more understandable to them. It was also confirmed that, using the 3D animation contents, general people came to recognize the problem of environment pollution and developed desirable attitude and behavior for protecting the environment. Furthermore, this paper suggested the direction of systematic environmental education and other general people education institutions using the developed 3D animation contents as a teaching material.

  • This paper designed 3D animation in consideration of young children's characteristics to stimulate their interest and to be more understandable to them. It was also confirmed that, using the 3D animation software, young children came to recognize the problem of environment pollution and developed desirable attitude and behavior fur protecting the environment. Furthermore, this paper suggested the derection of systematic environmental education at kindergartens and other early childhood education institutions using the developed 3D animation software as a leaching material.

Transmission Performance of MANET on 3D Underwater Communication Environments (3D 수중통신환경에서 MANET의 전송성능)

  • Underwater communication, which is used acoustic channel of 1500[m/s] speed being different of wireless electric wave in terrestrial communication, is sensitive on water temperature and salinity and also affected from 3D underwater space. 3D underwater communication is sensitive on propagation loss of acoustic wave and underwater noise with complexity of communication space. In this paper, transmission performance with consideration of these characteristics of 3D underwater communication environments is measured and analyzed on MANET operated on 3D underwater communication environments. Some underwater MANET operation conditions will be suggested. Computer simulation with underwater simulator based on NS-2 will be used for performance measure, performance parameter like as throughput, transmission delay, packet loss rate and consumed energy will be used in simulation for performance measure.

  • Currently, there are many discussions about composite materials and 3D printed composite material to weight reduction of ships. A test was conducted to confirm the applicability of the 3D printed composite material to ships and offshore structures by linking the 3D printing technology with excellent productivity and the composite material with corrosion resistance and lightweight characteristics in salt water environments. In order to apply the 3D printed composite material used in this paper to ships and offshore structures, the temperature environmental effects that can be exposed in the marine environment should be considered. Therefore, the tensile test was conducted with specimen of Carbon + Onyx, Carbon + Nylon, HSHT glass + Onyx, HSHT glass + Nylon material in low temperature (-50℃), room temperature (20℃), and high temperature (50℃) environments that can be exposed to the marine environment. As a result of the tensile test, the carbon + onyx specimen showed the highest tensile strength and the HSHT glass + onyx specimen showed the highest tensile strain. In addition, by analyzing the tested specimens, the failure mode of the 3D printed composite material specimens exposed to various temperature environments was analyzed.

  • X3D는 XML 기반의 VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language) 차세대 언어로서 인터넷을 통해 동적이고 상호작용 가능한 실시간 가상 환경을 제공해 준다. 본 논문에서는 X3D기반 가상 환경이 제공하는 상호작용을 변경 또는 확장 가능한 새로운 인터페이스 모델을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 모델은 X3D 가상 환경에서 사용자 재정의를 통한 상호작용, 새로운 멀티 모달 인터페이스로의 확장, 그리고 상황 인지 가상환경을 위한 상호작용 모델로서 사용될 수 있다.

  • 3D 가상환경 사용자는 목표하는 지역 또는 대상을 찾아내고 이동하기 위해 Navigation 기술을 사용한다. 3D 가상환경 개발 초기 단계에서부터 효과적인 Navigation을 위해서 Navigation Aid에 대한 연구가 꾸준히 진행되어왔으나, 환경 구조의 중요 지점만을 정리한 요약 형태의 정보를 제공하는 방법이 주를 이루고 있다. 본 논문에서는 의미기반의 Navigation을 통해 원하는 지역 또는 대상을 찾아내고 이론 3D 가상환경에서의 이동으로 연결하는 방법을 제안했다. 의미기반의 Navigation Aid는 3D 가상환경 구조와 무관하게 사람들이 생각하는 측면에서의 Navigation을 지원한다. 따라서 Navigation 대상 환경 구조에 익숙지 않은 방문자라도 유용하게 사용할 수 있으며, 환경을 구성하는 객체들의 위치가 자주 변하더라도 사용자에게 동일한 Navigation 환경을 제공하는 장점을 갖는다.
