다중 CCD를 이용한 부피 간섭계의 성능 개선 (The performance improvement of the volumetric interferometer with multi-CCDs)

  • The Volumetric Interferometer using two spherical wavefronts emitted from the ends of two single mode fibers has been suggested to measure 3-dimensional absolute coordinates. In this paper, we try to improve the performance of the volumetric interferometer using multi-CCDs. We get coordinates matching matrixes between CCDs and can obtain more information in the space with multi-CCDs. Also we find out the best arrangement of multi-CCDs by computer simulations. In the simulation we can know that it will be better to increase the distance between CCDs to improve performance. For the performance test, we do a repeatability test, a comparison test with 2-D stage and the self-calibration using artifact.

  • 성덕대왕 신종에 대한 연구 초점 중의 하나로 2개의 근접한 주파수에 의해 발생되는 맥놀이 현상을 들 수 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 맥놀이 현상이 종의 어떠한 진동형태로부터 기인하는지를 실험데이터를 이용해 살펴보고 있다. 진동신호의 측정은 종 표면에 고르게 분포된 108개의 지점에서 가속도계를 이용해 측정하였다. 시간 영역과 주파수 영역엣 각각 신호를 분석하였으며, 800Hz 이내에 존재하는 12개의 측정된 모우드 형태를 그림으로 나타내었다.

  • This paper describes 3D Dimensional Measurement(EDM testing) and tensile testing results of carbody structure for crashed EMU(Electric Multiple Units). Tensile tests were performed on two different types of specimens in order to evaluate the strength changes before and after damages, obtained from plastic deformed area and nondeformed region of the crashed EMU. And Structural analysis of EMU was performed for the criteria of safety assessment. Structural analysis using commercial I-DEAS software provided important information on the stress distribution and load transfer mechanisms as well as the amount of damages during rolling stock crash. The testing results have been used to provide the critical information for the criteria of safety diagnosis.

  • The probability of visual perception occurrence varies in case the expectation of using each unit space of which the whole space consists because the size of space subject to analysis is very large or the organization is complicated in the analysis of spatial visual configuration. Therefore, it is necessary to compensate space analysis and index measurement by applying weight to the point of view for the probability of experiencing space. This study proposed a method of analyzing visibility ratio by applying the integration of space syntax theory as weight, and grasped the effect in comparison with the visibility ratio when weight was not applied.

  • The present paper focuses on the analysis of aero-acoustics characteristic by appling different four boundary conditions. The high-order and high-resolution numerical schemes are used for discrete accurate computation of compressible flow. The four boundary conditions include extrapolation, characteristic boundary condition, zonal characteristic boundary condition. These boundary conditions are applied to the computation of two dimensional circular cylinder flows with Mach number of 0.3 and Reynolds number of 400. The computation results are validated against measurement data and other computation results for the Strouhal frequency of vortex shedding, the mean drag coefficient and root-mean-square lift for the unsteady periodic flow regime. The characteristics of secondary frequency is predicted by three kinds of boundary conditions.

  • In ceramic systems using LTCC, many components including embedded passives and TRL's are used for composition of 3-dimensional circuit. So the exact analysis on this components must be performed. As for the TRL's, material properties including electrical conductivity of metal, loss factor and effective dielectric constant of dielectric material and geometrical factors like roughness of surface, vias, dimension of TRL structure have a large effect on the characteristics of transmission lines. Such properties of materials have different values in each system with ideal ones presented in text book. In this research, the effective material properties in each system are examined and the effect of material properties and geometrical factors on the characteristics of TRL's are analyzed and quantified by simulation and measurement.

  • 기존의 3차원 형상 측정법은 대부분 접촉식이기때문에 피측정물이 손상이 입거나 Probe의 보정이 필요하거나 Probe가 측정면에 직접 닿지 않는 경우는 측정이 불가능하였다. 또한 많은 점을 측정할 경우측정시간이 많이 걸린다. 물체의 크기가 크거나 측정하고자하는 물체가 무를 경우에는 적합하지 못하다. 이러한 단점은 보완하기 위하여 비접촉식인 측정법 이용한 관측이 대두되게 되었다. 비접촉식에 의한 관측은 물체의 표면을 손상시키지 않으면서 정밀하고 고품질이 요구되는 제품 검사 및 자동화 기술의 발달로 인하여 생산 산업 분야에 이용되고 있다 이에 비접촉식 방식에서도 광학간섭의 하나인 마이켈슨 간섭계를 이용하여 간섭무늬 패턴으로 물체 이미지를 분석하고 CCD카메라에서 영상을 얻어 3차원 물체를 해석하였다.

  • The 3-dimensional finite element program is developed to analyze the non-isothermal forming processes of aluminum-alloy sheet metals. Bishop's method is introduced to solve the heat balance and force equilibrium equations. Also, Barlat's non-quadratic anisotropic yield function depicts the planar anisotropy of the aluminum-alloy sheet. To find an appropriate constitutive equation, four different forms are reviewed. For the verification of the reliability of the developed program, the computational try-outs of the non-isothermal cylindrical cupping processes of AL5052-H32 and Al1050-H16 are carried out. As results, the constitutive equation relating to strain and strain-rate, in which the constants are represented by the 5th-degree polynomials of temperature, is in good agreement with measurement. The computational try-outs can predict optimal forming conditions in non-isothermal forming processes.

스테레오 PTV와 스테레오 PIV에 의한 선박프로펠러 후류측정 (Measurements of a Ship's Propeller Wake with Stereoscopic-PIV and Stereoscopic-PTV)

  • Stereoscopic PTV and Stereoscopic-PIV measurements have been carried out for the studies of the wake of a ship's propeller. Stereoscopic photogrammetry based on a 3D-PTV principle was introduced using two high-definition cameras(1k x 1k, 30Hz). The arrangement of the two cameras was based on angular position. The pair-matching of the three-dimensional velocity vectors were based on Genetic Algorithm based 3D-PTV technique. The results obtained by both measurement systems have been compared at the advance ratio J=0.88(290 rpm, d=54 mm). Turbulent properties have also been compared each other at the same condition.

  • The governing equations in generalized curvilinear coordinates for 3D laminar flow are the Incompressible Navier-Stokes (INS) equations with the artificial dissipative terms. and continuity equation discretized using a second-order accurate, finite volume method on the nonstaggered computational grid. This method adopts a dual or pseudo time-stepping Artificial Compressibility (AC) method integrated in pseudo-time. Multigrid methods are also applied because solving the equations on the coarse grids requires much less computational effort per iteration than on the fine grid. The algorithm yields practically identical velocity profiles and secondary flows that are in excellent overall agreement with an experimental measurement (Humphrey et al., 1977).
