  • Microstructural phases of the dental amalgams have been studied by optical microscope, scanning electron microprobe and X-ray diffractometer. r1 ($Ag_2Hg_3$) phase and r2 ($Sn_{7-8}Hg$) phase are found on conventional compositioned alloys. On high copper single compositioned alloy, rl ($Ag_2Hg_3$) phase and V ($Cu_6Sn_5$) phase are found but brittle r2 ($Sn_(7-8)Hg$) phase.

  • This paper presents a new control algorithm for series active power filters that are applied to 3-phase 3-wire and 3-phase 4-wire systems with capacitive loads. It is difficult to reduce harmonic currents in neutral lines of the 3-phase 4-wire systems using conventional series active power filter control methods. 3-phase 4-wire series active power filter systems using the proposed method in this study lower neutral line harmonics. Simulation was carried out to verify the algorithm.

다상 BLDC 전동기 인버터 특성 해석 (Characteristic Analysis of Inverter for Multi-phase BLDC motor)

  • This paper decribes multi-phase BLDC motor with a minimum torque pulsation among BLDC motor used for electric propulsion system. Multi-phase BLDC motor has characteristic that phase of stator has more than 3-phase. This paper is modeling two type of BLDC motor, one has 3-phase and the other has 7-phase, and it shows simulation of them comparing its characteristics. As a result of simulation, the 7-phase BLDC motor shows better performance in terms of torque pulsation. It is also found that the torque pulsation is reduced further by increasing the number of phase.

  • A 5-phase phase-locked loop (PLL) for USB2.0 applications was implemented by using an all-synthesis technique. The length of the time-to-digital converter for the fine phase detector was halved by the operation of a coarse phase detector that uses 5-phase clocks. The maximum time difference between the rising edges of two adjacent-phase clocks was 6 ps at 480 MHz. The PLL chip in a 65-nm process occupies $0.038mm^2$, consumes 4.8 mW at 1.2 V. The measured rms and peak-to-peak output jitters are 8.6 ps and 45 ps, respectively.

  • 6-단자 위상 상관기는 동위상 전력 분배기 한 개와 3-dB 90도 위상차 전력 분배기 세 개로 구성된 회로로 입력 신호의 위상을 판별하는 복조 회로에 주로 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 37.5-Ω 동축선 3개를 이용한 광대역 2:1 임피던스 변환 회로 구조의 동위상 전력 분배기와 Wireline 이용한 3-dB 90도 위상차 전력 분배기를 사용하여 광대역에서 동작하는 6-단자 위상 상관기를 제안하였다. 중심 주파수 1000MHz에서 제작된 제안된 광대역 6-단자 위상 상관기는 640~1270MHz 주파수 범위에서 동위상 전력 분배기 입력 신호에 대한 4개의 출력 단자로의 신호 전달 특성(Si1)은 세기 -6.5±0.6dB와 위상 오차 ±3.4° 이내, 90도 위상차 전력 분배기 입력 신호에 대한 신호 전달 특성(Si2)은 세기 -6.1±0.6dB와 위상 오차 ±6.2° 이내, 입력 반사계수(S11 and S22) -14dB 이하의 안정적인 값을 가졌다.

5상 유도전동기 구동을 위한 수정된 직접 토크제어 시스템 (The Modified Direct Torque Control System for Five-Phase Induction Motor Drives)

  • 본 논문에서는 5상 농형유도전동기(Five-phase squirrel-cage induction motor)의 수정된 직접 토크제어(Direct torque control, DTC) 시스템을 제안한다. 5상 유도전동기 구동은 추가적인 자유도로 인하여 개선된 특성이 얻어짐과 동시에 일반적인 3상 유도전동기에 비해 토크의 맥동이 감소하며, 신뢰성 증가와 같은 장점을 가진다. 5상 유도전동기의 직접 토크제어는 인버터 구동시스템이 기존의 3상 인버터가 8개의 공간전압 벡터를 가지고 있는 것에 비해서 32개의 공간전압 벡터를 제공하기 때문에 여러 가지 장점이 있다. 그러나 5상 전동기의 경우는 제3공간 고조파 성분으로 인하여 구조적인 단점을 가지고 있어 고조파 성분의 전류제어가 요구된다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 5상 유도전동기의 특성을 개선하기 위하여 제3고조파 전류성분을 제어할 수 있는 수정된 직접 토크제어 시스템을 제시한다. 전통적인 5상 유도전동기의 직접 토크제어와 제안된 직접 토크제어 시스템의 운전특성을 검증하기 위하여, 디지털 제어기로 32[bit] 고정소수점 DSP인 TMS320F2812를 사용하여 2.2[kW] 5상 유도전동기의 속도제어 시스템을 구성하여 동특성을 관찰한 결과 우수한 특성이 얻어짐을 확인하였다.

Real-time Evolution of Poly (3-hexylthiophene) type-II Phase in P3HT:PCBM Blend thin films

  • We observed the temperature-dependent evolution and behavior of P3HT type-II phase during a real time annealing process from a cryo-cooled low temperature in the absence and presence of an Al electrode. A poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) Type-II phase in the P3HT:PCBM films started to form near at $-10^{\circ}C$, regardless of Al layer presence. In the absence of an Al layer, type-II phase was extinct at $30^{\circ}C$. However, the extinction temperature was extended to $50^{\circ}C$ in the presence of the Al layer. Simultaneously, combined with the type-II phase, a 1:3 ordered P3HT type-II (1/3,0,0) super-lattice peak evolved. These type-II domains tended to be formed near the Al electrode layer with higher aligned status than host P3HT crystals.

  • 영구자석 저감형 동기전동기는 기존의 고속철도 추진용 유도기보다 높은 효율과 출력밀도를 보이고, 일반적인 영구자석 동기전동기에 비해 자석 사용량을 줄여 가격을 낮출 수 있다. 또한 5상 구동 시스템을 사용할 경우 3상 시스템에 비해 낮은 토크리플과 높은 출력밀도를 가지게 된다. 이러한 특성으로 인해 5상 영구자석 저감형 동기전동기는 고속철도 추진용 전동기로 적합한 특성을 가진다. 본 연구에서는 집중상수모델과 유전알고리즘을 이용하여 3상 및 5상 영구자석 저감형 동기전동기 3kw 축소모델을 최적설계하고 이들의 특성을 비교하였다. 또한 유한요소해석을 이용하여 최종 보정설계를 진행한 3상 및 5상 전동기를 제작하고 실험을 통해 해석값을 검증하였다.

여대생의 월경주기에 따른 섭식패턴과 섭식행동의 관련성 (Associations between Eating Behavior and the Eating Patterns of Female College Students Across the Menstrual Cycle)

  • Objectives: The associations between the eating behavior and energy and macronutrient intake from meals and snacks consumed during different times of the day across the menstrual cycle were investigated in 74 healthy female college students. Methods: A 9-day food record was collected during the last 3 days before menstrual onset (phase 1) and the first 3 days after menstrual onset (phase 2) and from the 4th to the 6th day after menstrual onset (phase 3), respectively. Anthropometry was assessed and eating behaviors were measured using the Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire (DEBQ). Results: External eating was the most prevalent type of eating behavior, followed by restrained eating and emotional eating. Restrained eating was positively associated with energy, carbohydrate and lipid intake at the breakfast and midmorning snack during phase 3. However, emotional eating was also positively related to energy and macronutrient intake at the dinner and after-dinner snack during phase 1 and phase 3, with higher level detected in the phase 1. The association of emotional eating with the snack consumption was highest in phase 1. External eating was positively associated with energy and macronutrient intakes at the dinner and after-dinner snack across the three phases, the highest level being phase 1. In addition, restrained eating was positively associated with the weight, body mass index(BMI), fat mass, waist and hip girth of the subjects. Conclusions: Eating behaviors varied with regard to meals and snacks consumed during different times of the day across the three menstrual phases. Dinner and afterdinner snack consumption in premenstrual phase could be considered as a time when women are more prone to overconsumption and uncontrolled eating.

삼상유도전동기의 결상시 전류 및 회전력특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Current and Torque Characteristics Of Three-Phase Induction Motor in Single-Phase Operation.)

  • The characteristics of the stator current and torque of a small three- phase squirrel cage induction motor and studied experimentally under the situation of a single-phase operation due to various causes. Through the experiments, the torque-slip and current-slip curve of single-phase circuit as well as three-phase circuit are obtained and the needed constants are determined. The stator current and torque are calculated by the current and torque equations derived by the unbalanced circuit theory. The numerical values obtained from the above methods are compared with the experimental values under the same conditions. The results of the study are summerized as follow; 1) The values computed by the unbalanced circuit theory generally come to approach the values recorded through experiments. 2) Near the rated load, speed drop is less than 1.2 per cent of the speed of three-phase induction motor and torque reduces less than 3 per cent of it of three-phase induction motor when three-phase induction motor is run under a single-phase. On the other hand, the stator current in a single-phase circuit is more than 1.9 times of it in three-phase circuit. 3) The stalling torque in a single-phase circuit is reduced to about 41 per cent of it in three-phase circuit while the corresponding slip is moved toward the synchroneous speed and the corresponding stator current is increased.
