DPLL에 의한 삼상유도전동기의 속도제어 및 안정도에 관한 연구 (Speed control and stability of 3-phase induction motor with DPLL)

  • The phase-locked loop technique developed in the 1930's has many advantages when applied to speed control. The speed control and analysis of a three phase induction motor using the PLL are described in this paper. In this system, the phase frequency detector (PFD) compares the actual motor speed from the pulses received from a shaft encoder and desired speed, and the difference adjusts the frequency of the inverter that feeds the motor, and excellent speed regulation in the order of 0.035(%) has been-obtained. A linear continuous model of the drive is developed and system response is analysed using conventional root locus techniques. Various compensating filters and feedback signals are considered and the need for addition of derivative feedback is shown. A sampled data model is used to study the effects of discrete PFD output. Stability limitson speed are predicted. A drive was implimented and experimental results are presented to verify theoretical predictions.

3상 농형 유도전동기의 자기소음 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Analysis of Magnetic Noise in Three Phase Squirrel-Cage Induction Motor)

  • 3상농형유도전동기에서 발생되는 소음중 자기소음을 해석하였다. JEM-1313 규격과 반확산 음장법을 이용하여 전체의 소음을 측정하였으며, fk={K+$\frac{Z_s}{P}$(1-S)}f[Hz]의 실험식을 도출하였다. 고정자 권선의 자기소음만을 도출하기 위해서 회전자를 제거하고 고정자권선에 정격전압, 정격주파수를 가한 상태에서 자기소음을 측정하여 비교, 검토하는 소음해석방법을 제시하였다. 이론치와 실험치는 1440[Hz], 1560[Hz]에서 근사하였고 가장 큰 자기고조파는 1560[Hz]에서 발생되는 것을 알 수 있다.

  • The aim of study in this paper is that in a system drive of the converter-inverter fed induction motor, the minimum input power can be maintained by control the voltage and frequency of the motor. In theoretical and experiment results describtion motor efficiency is improved by properly varying the ratio v/f. At lightly load condition, for example its efficiency was improved from 44% to 66% as the ratio of v/f varied from 1 to 0.57.

PD 제어기와 신경회로망을 이용한 유도전동기의 속도제어 ((The Speed Control of Induction Motor using PD Controller and Neural Networks))

  • 본 논문에서는 PD 제어기와 신경회로망을 이용하여 3상 유도전동기의 속도제어 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. PD 제어기는 초기의 제어를 담당하며 신경회로망의 초기 학습을 담당한다. 또한, 신경회로망은 비선형 매핑능력과 학습능력이 탁월하기 때문에 제어기로 많이 사용되며 특히 전향경로 신경망은 구조가 매우 간단하기 때문에 본 논문에서는 이를 이용하여 유도전동기의 속도제어 시스템에 구현하였다. 신경회로망의 입력으로는 모터의 기준속도, 엔코더를 이용하여 측정한 모터의 실제 속도와 제어입력 전류를 이용하였고, 온라인 상태로 학습되도록 하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 알고리즘의 타당성을 보이기 위해 기존에 널리 사용되었던 PI 제어기와 비교평가를 하였으며 시뮬레이션과 실험결과로부터 초기운전 상태에서는 PD 제어기가 주로 제어를 담당하지만 시간이 지남에 따라 신경회로망이 학습되어 신경회로망이 주 제어기가 됨을 확인하였다. 아울러, 제안된 하이브리드 제어기가 PI 제어기보다 우수하고 특히 부하변동과 같은 외란에 강인함을 알 수 있었으며, 정상상태 오차가 현저히 감소하여 정밀한 속도제어가 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • Internet provides the useful method to monitor the current states of the machine tool no matter where a personnel monitors it. In this paper, a monitoring method of the torque of the machine tool's spindle induction motor using interne is suggested. To estimate the torque accurately, spindle driving system of an CNC lathe is divide into two parts, induction motor part and mechanical part attached to the induction motor spindle. Magnetizing current is calculated from the measured 3 phase currents without speed sensor used to estimate the torque generated by an induction motor. In mechanical part of the system, some of the torque is used to overcome friction and remaining torque is used to overcome cutting force. An equation to estimate friction torque is drawn as a function of cutting torque and rotation speed. Graphical programming is used to implement the suggested algorithm. to monitor the torque of an induction motor in real time and to make the estimated torque monitored on client computers. Torque of the spindle induction motor is well monitored on the client computers in about 3% error range under various cutting conditions.

  • This paper proposed a fault diagnosis technique of induction motors winding fault based on an artificial neural network (ANN). This method used Park's vector pattern as input data of ANN. The ANN are firstly learned using this pattern, and then classify between 'healthy' and 'winding fault' (with 2, 10, and 20 shorted turn) induction motor under 0, 50, and $100\%$ load condition. Also the possibility of classification of untrained turn-fault and load condition are tested. The proposed method has been experimentally tested on a 3-phase, 1 HP squirrel-cage induction motor. The obtained results provided a high level of accuracy especially in small turn fault, and showed that it is a reliable method for industrial application

왈쉬급수를 사용한 새로운 고조파 제거 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on New Harmonic Elimination Method Using Walsh Series)

  • In the variable speed driving system of a three phase induction motor controlled by a PWM inverter, the output terminal contains considerable amount of harmonic components of the voltage waveform due to the switching action of semiconductor devices, causing torque ripples, acoustic noise and oscillation of the motor. This paper describes a new algorithm which eliminates the harmonics and controls the fundamental voltage in three phase PWM inverter output waveform. The new algorithm utilizes the technique of particular harmonics elimination (PHE) by walsh series in three phase PWM inverter output waveform. A microprocessor (8086 CPU)-controlled three phase induction motor system is described to realize this algorithm. The system is designed for 3 phase output voltage in the 1-60Hz interval where 5th and 7th harmonics, and 5th, 7th, 11th, and 13th harmonics are eliminated. Also, the fundamental wave amplitude is designed to be proportional to the output frequency. The performance of the proposed method shows sufficient elimination of the harmonics and also reduction of computation time which determines switching pattern. The proposed PWM pattern by Walsh series, is effective not only to induction motors but also to other electromagetic equipments such as voltage regulators and UPS.

  • A simple analysis method for inverter-fed induction motor using F.E.M and harmonic equivalent circuit is proposed. And an optimum shape of rotor slot for 2Hp inverter-fed induction motor is determined by combining the proposed analysis method and an optimization algorithm. Conjugate gradient method is used for the optimization algorithm. The optimization is performed for higher efficiency and reduction of harmonic loss in the inverter-fed induction motor. The optimization results are verified by comparing with those of the time-step F.E.A.

  • In this paper, closed loop V/f control of induction motor has been implemented by the estimated speed. Closed loop V/f control improve the performance of induction motor drive system at low speed compared to open loop V/f control. However, closed loop V/f control need speed sensor. By using the estimated speed, closed loop V/f control is possible without speed sensor. Rotor speed is calculated from the difference between synchronous frequency and slip angular frequency. 3-phase voltage reference is obtained from synchronous frequency. And the PWM technique using space vector PWM is applied in this scheme. In the space vector PWM, effective time of 3-phase voltage reference is used to simplify the calculation of effective voltage time. This scheme is simple to implement and one chip microprocessor was used in experimental system.
