Stall Prediction of Wing Using the Nonplanar Lifting Surface Theory and an Iterative Decambering Approach (비평면 양력면 이론과 반복적 캠버변형 기법을 이용한 날개의 실속 특성 예측)

  • This paper predicts the stall characteristics of three-dimensional wings. An iterative decambering approach is introduced into the nonplanar lifting surface method to take into consideration the stall characteristics of wings. An iterative decambering approach uses known airfoil lift curve and moment curve to predict the stall characteristics of wings. The multi-dimensional Newton iteration is used to take into consideration the coupling between the different sections of wings. Present results are compared with experiments and other numerical results. Computed results are in good agreement with other data. This scheme can be used for any wing with the twist or control surface and for wing-wing configurations such as wing-tail configuration or canard-wing configuration.

  • This study was intended to provide efficient algorithms for high quality postprocessing on the basis of microcomputers with limited capacity and functionality. Improved methods of postprocessing including stress contouring, internal force diagraming, and displacement animation, were proposed and implemented into a new finite element system. Visualization of three-dimensional structural behaviors was treated with special emphasis.

  • For the structural analysis of optimum form decision of 3-D free form structure such as ship, plane, automobile, definition of versatile forms and comparision between them satisfying the design criterion, is essential. In this paper, 3-D free form structure and it's variation are defined and attempts were made to obtain geometric form information for structural analysis. The validity of the method has been tested for a particular free model selected.

  • Neutron Streaming analysis in 1300 MWe pressurized water reactor cavity was performed. In this calculation, the discrete ordinates transport codes, ANISN and DOT 3.5, and the Monte Carlo code, TRIPOLI-02 were used with the coupling code, DOTTRI. In this study IBM 3033 type computer was used. The calculated neutron fluxes and dose rates were compared with the measured data in a 900MWe pressurized water reactor cavity to show a good agreement, although some deviations in the results for each energy group were noticed. These results will be applied in the radiation shielding design of high capacity nuclear power reactors and, to the means of radiation protection in case of the reactor maintenance and the access of the reactor cavity.

  • 마하수 4일때 초음속 풍동의 벽면과 모델지지부의 간섭에 관해 연구하였다. 특히 모델지지부 주위에서의 충격파 형성과 sting, strut 그리고 second throat에서의 반사 충격파의 상호 작용에 연구의 촛점을 두었다. 수치 기법은 내재적 플럭스 차분 분할기법 (implicit flux-difference splitting technique)을 사용하였다. 2차원과 3차원 유동해석 결과로부터 모델지지부 후류의 유동에 미치는 diffuser 출구 경계조건의 영향을 알아보았다.

  • In this study a pure vector potential method (PVPM) for a three dimensional, unsteady, incompressible flow is proposed. A simplified version for a two dimensional problem is described in detail, and a method to prescribe appropriate boundary conditions is also presented. The resulting numerical algorithm is applied to the cavity flow driven by an impulsively started wall and also to the Stokes' first problem. Some important unsteady/steady features are captured for these two flows, and quantitative agreements of flow variables with available reference database are good.

  • 본 연구에서는 고속철도에서 차량·교량 구조물의 상호작용을 가능한 정밀하게 취급할 수 있는 3차원 해석모형을 개발하였다. 경부고속철도 교량형식인 PSC 박스거더 교량을 40m 단순 와 25-40-25m 3경간 연속 에 대해 뼈대요소를 사용하여 3차원으로 모형 하였으며, 궤도의 불규칙성은 정상확률과정으로 가정하고, 지수 스펙트럼 밀도함수를 사용하여 궤도의 형상을 생성시켰다. 열차는 경부고속철도 차량 하중효과가 가장 큰 동력차 만을 대상으로 17 자유도 모형과 38 자유도 모형으로 분리하여 개발하였다. 다양한 조건에 대한 분석결과를 검토하면 여러 가지 상황에서 38 자유도 모형의 필수 성이 보여지고 있다. 특히 교량의 솟음 및 장기 처짐에 의한 궤도형상변화가 있는 경우에는 반드시 38 자유도 모형이 적용되어야 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 제동하중이 작용할 때 쏠림 효과에 의한 영향이 큰 것으로 평가되어, 제동에 의한 교량의 동적 거동은 종변 위에 대한 자유 도를 고려할 수 있는 주행차량모형으로 해석되어야 함이 규명되었다.

  • Nuclear containment building is the last barrier for being secure from any nuclear power plant accident. Therefore, it is very important to understand the ultimate capacity of nuclear containment building to loads associated with severe accidents. LOCA (loss of coolant accident) is considered as the basic accidental load and CANDU-type containment building is considered as a target structure in order to conduct the numerical analysis for the structural safety of a containment building. The CANDU-type containment building is a prestressed concrete shell structure which has the dome and the cylindrical wall and is reinforced with bonded tendons. In this paper, the evaluation of ultimate internal pressure capacity was carried out by nonlinear analysis of a prestressed concrete containment building using 3-dimensional structural analysis system.
