The CSCM Upwind method and Material Transport Analysis(MTA) have been used to predict the thermal response and shape changes for charring/non-charring material which can be used as thermal protection material(TPM) on blunt-body nose tip. We performed intensive flight trajectory simulations to compare 1-D MTA results with those of 2-D/Axisymmetric MTA by using MTAs and Navier-Stokes code. Theheat-transfer rate and pressure distribution were predicted at selected altitudes and wall temperature along the flight trajectory and the shape changes of blunt-body nose tip were predicted subsequently by using current procedure.

New thermal crack control system for mass concrete was developed to increase quality and to save construction period and cost. The principle of this system is that the curing water having proper temperature is supplied automatically to the surface of mass concrete member to keep the temperature difference between center and surface of concrete less than generally recommended temperature difference ($20^{\circ}C$). Mock-up test was conducted to investigate the validity of newly developed curing system. As a result, no crack was founded in the specimen using automated curing system developed in this study, while many cracks occurred in another specimen without automated curing system. It was also confirmed that the strength and the durability of the concrete cured by automated curing system were improved.
Time dependent creep settlements are one of the most important causes of material deteriorations for the huge water structures such as concrete faced rockfill dams (CFRDs). For this reason, performing creep analyses of CFRDs is vital important for monitoring and evaluating of the future and safety of such dams. In this study, it is observed how changes viscoplastic behaviour of a CFR dam depending the time. Ilısu dam that is the longest concrete faced rockfill dam (1775 m) in the world is selected for the three dimensional (3D) analyses. 3D finite difference model of Ilısu dam is modelled using FLAC3D software based on the finite difference method. Two different special creep material models are considered in the numerical analyses. Wipp-creep viscoplastic material model and burger-creep viscoplastic material model were rarely used for the creep analyses of CFRDs in the last are taken into account for the concrete slab and rockfill materials-foundation, respectively. Moreover, interface elements are defined between the concrete slab-rockfill materials and rockfill materials-foundation to provide interaction condition for 3D model. Firstly, dam and foundation are collapsed under its self-weight and static behaviour of the dam is evaluated for the empty reservoir conditions. Then, reservoir water is modelled considering maximum water level of the dam and time-dependent creep analyses are performed for maximum reservoir condition. In this paper, maximum principal stresses, vertical-horizontal displacements and pore pressures that may occur on the dam body surface during 30 years (from 2017 to 2047) are evaluated in detail. According to numerical analyses, empty and maximum reservoir conditions of Ilısu dam are compared with each other in detail. 4 various nodal points are selected under the concrete slab to better seen viscoplastic behaviour changes of the dam and viscoplastic behaviour differences of these points during 30 years are graphically presented. It is clearly seen that horizontal-vertical displacements and principal stresses for maximum reservoir condition are more than the empty reservoir condition of the dam and significant pore pressures are observed during 30 years for maximum reservoir condition. In addition, horizontal-vertical displacements, principal stresses and pore pressures for 4 nodal points obviously increased until a certain time and changes decreased after this time.
In this paper, we analyzed the current path in the O/N/O (Oxide/Nitride/Oxide) structure of 3D NAND Flash memory and in the O/N/F (Oxide/Nitride/Ferroelectric) structure where the blocking oxide is replaced by a ferroelectric. In the O/N/O structure, when Vread is applied, a current path is formed on the backside of the channel due to the E-fields of neighboring cells. In contrast, the O/N/F structure exhibits a current path formed on the front side due to the polarization of the ferroelectric material, causing electrons to move toward the channel front. Additionally, we performed an examination of device characteristics considering channel thickness and channel length. The analysis results showed that the front electron current density in the O/N/F structure increased by 2.8 times compared to the O/N/O structure, and the front electron current density ratio of the O/N/F structure was 17.7% higher. Therefore, the front current path is formed more effectively in the O/N/F structure than in the O/N/O structure.

In this study, we have investigated potential application of 3D model-based learning material in training of new workers for production of electrical systems in the ship-building. Most of new trainees such as new employees or workers on job-transition have lots of difficulty when given the first task due to their poor ability to understand related engineering drawings. This is mainly caused by the fact that drawings are loaded with too many ambiguous symbols to precisely describe the characteristics of components required for installation of electrical equipments and cables. As one way to improve the ability of new employees to read drawings, we have suggested a new training method based on 3D models of major components required for production of the electrical systems in the ship.
Plastic, the main material of FFF-type 3D printing, exhibits lower strength compared to metal. research aimed at increasing strength is needed for use in various industrial fields. This study analyzed three X-shape infill patterns(grid, lines, zigzag) with similar internal lattice structure. Moreover, tensile test considering weight and printing time was conducted based on the infill line multiplier and infill overlap percentage. The three X-shape infill patterns(grid, lines, zigzag) showed differences in nozzle paths, material usage and printing time. When infill line multiplier increased, there was a proportional increase in tensile strength/weight and tensile strength/printing time. In terms of infill overlap percentage, the grid pattern at 50% and the zigzag and lines patterns at 75% demonstrated the most efficient performance.

In this paper, a simple dual band filter chip is designed with 0603 case size using IPD technology. The dual-band filter achieves high frequency band at 2.5 GHz and low frequency band at 1.8 GHz. The insertion losses in high frequency band and low frequency band are -0.195 dB and -0.146 dB, respectively. The return losses in these bands are -22.7 dB and -22.8 dB, respectively. The simple dual-band filter based on SI-GaAs substrate is designed within die size of about 1.3 $mm^2$.
wo dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdW) nanosheet semiconductors have recently attracted much attention from researchers because of their potentials as active device materials toward future nano-electronics and -optoelectronics. This review mainly focuses on the features and applications of state-of-the-art vdW 2D material devices which use transition metal dichalcogenides, graphene, hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN), and black phosphorous: field effect transistors (FETs), complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) inverters, Schottky diode, and PN diode. In a closing remark, important remaining issues of 2D vdW devices are also introduced as requests for future electronics and photonics applications.

One-dimensional photonic crystals (1D PCs) were fabricated by RF sputtering technique on p-Si (100), and fused quartz substrates. The 1D PCs structures consisted of $TeO_x$ (x=1.42), and $SiO_2$ with the difference refractive index. In order to estimate the effect on a defect level within 1D PCs structures, samples were prepared with both normal, and defect mode. The structural and optical properties were confirmed by Scanning electron microscope (SEM), and Ultraviolet visible near-infrared spectrophotometer (UV-VIS-NIR) respectively. In the case of a 1D PC normal mode without defect layer, it had a photonic band gap (PBG) in the near infrared (NIR) region. In the case of a 1D PC defect mode with defect layer, it had a sharp transmission band owing to a defect level, and moved towards the longer wavelength after exposing He-Cd laser with a wavelength of 325 nm.

The reduction effect of floor impact noise depends on the various factors such as stiffness and thickness of the concrete slab, finishing If ceiling materials and the composition method. Among the rest it is well known that floating floor system is more effective. Standard floating floor(SFF) type-2 consisted of 50mm lightweight aerated concrete(LAC) and 20mm damping material has been widely used. But LAC construction problem on dry damping material occurred and the reduction effect of floor impact noise has bare minimum qualifications. Thus the aim of this study is to develop 40mm composite damping material(Soundzero Plus) for SFF type-5 which substitute LAC and damping material. 'Soundzero Plus' is satisfied with quality requirement for damping material for SFF. The heat transition rate, $0.45W/m^2{\cdot}K$ is more effective 55% about than the regulation. The test results of floor impact noise by using 'Soundzero Plus' are showed good improvement about 12dB (tested by tapping machine) and 4dB (tested by bang machine) between before and after.
