An Empirical Research about Lifelong Education Institute of YeoJoo Institute of Technology (대학 부설 평생 교육원에 대한 실증적 연구 - 여주대학을 중심으로 -)

  • This study is an empirical research about lifelong education provided YIT(YeoJoo of Institute of Technology). This study aims at suggesting fundamental materials for the activation of the lifelong education provided by YIT by analyzing the participation of students and neghbouring district's residents in the programs and their requests. The lifelong education conditions should reflect the requests and levels of participants. and thereby encourage their positive participation and enhance their satisfaction with the programs.

Development and Validation of Korean Youth Lifelong Learning Competency Indicators for Future Society (미래사회를 대비한 청소년의 생애학습역량지수 개발 및 타당화 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop indicators for assessing korean youth lifelong learning competency and to validate the structure of the competencies. To achieve this research aims, the indicators for assessing life-long learning competence were drawn by systemic literature review and they were validated and modified by expert review method and two surveys targeting youth. 28 youth experts participated in the expert review. Participants were 333 middle or high school students for the first survey and 791 middle or high school students for the second survey. As results, the 3 competencies and nine sub-competencies were developed: thinking(wholistic thinking, critical thinking, emotional thinking), intellectual tools use(language, mathematic and science, information and communication technology), learning adaptability(change capacity, intellectual curiosity, learning-direction). The results of this study will provide the fundamental guidelines for developing various activities and establishing youth policies related to korean youth life-long learning competency.

  • In 21th century moving rapidly up to the knowledge and information society, creative problem-solving abilities are preferentially required to engineers. Though there may be various approaches to develop such abilities, PBL instruction method can be an effective alternative to develop such abilities. Recognizing this, one 'JPBL' model was constructed and introduced in this study. The model was developed independently based general existing PBL models and applied to university students to analyze its effectiveness in the aspect of class satisfaction and organizational commitment. Based on results, the meaning and limitation of the model development were discussed.

  • Purpose of study: The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of the role of Christian liberal arts education in university liberal arts education in the 21st century. Research content and method: It examines how liberal arts education has changed with the times, and examines the modern significance of the role of liberal arts education that is requested today. In the rapidly changing reality of the 21st century, the role of liberal arts education, which was neglected by focusing on major-centered professional education, has become important. The need for creative and integrated thinking skills to create and apply new knowledge on their own has been highlighted. Liberal arts education and Christianity have a common denominator, and they can produce richer fruits through mutual communication. Religious literacy is the ability to identify and analyze the fundamental intersection between religion and social, political, and cultural life through various lenses. It can be said that it is the culture that must be equipped as a democratic citizen living in the 21st century. Understanding religion is the most important humanities and culture. Through the cultivation of religious literacy, it will be possible to develop thinking skills and insights to view the relationship between Christianity and various fields of life as a whole. Conclusions and Suggestions: Through this study, the need for religious literacy was expressed, and the direction of Christian liberal arts education requested in this era was sought. Christian liberal arts education that fosters religious literacy is proposed as a way to handle the role of a holistic leader of public society by aiming for convergent thinking and promoting public responsibility.

  • 현재 원격수업 교육 시스템은 21세기를 맞이하여 초고속정보통신망의 발전과 함께 사회전반에 크게 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 하지만 현재는 특정 업체나 단체에서 교육을 독점적으로 서비스하기 위해 웹 기반으로 서비스가 이루어질 학교에서는 자체적으로 특정 교과를 독립적으로 교육을 행할 수 있는 시스템이 없는 현실이다. 이 논문에서는 원격 교육서비스를 통하여 학습자가 언제, 어디서든지 멀티미디어 데이터를 제공받아서 학습 및 평가를 받을 수 있는 주문형 수업 시스템을 제안한다. 공급자와 수요자에게 사용상에 특별한 지식을 요구하지 않는 사용자 인터페이스를 제공, 교육 정보갱신이 쉽고 빠르게 이루어지며, 특정 교과를 독립적으로 서비스가 가능하며, 서비스상에 특별한 인력을 필요로 하지 않으며, 수요자는 원하는 시간에 자신의 능력별로 서비스를 받을 수 있게 된다.

A Comparative Study on Game-Score Prediction Models Using Compuational Thinking Education Game Data (컴퓨팅 사고 교육 게임 데이터를 사용한 게임 점수 예측 모델 성능 비교 연구)

  • Computing thinking is regarded as one of the important skills required in the 21st century, and many countries have introduced and implemented computing thinking training courses. Among computational thinking education methods, educational game-based methods increase student participation and motivation, and increase access to computational thinking. Autothinking is an educational game developed for the purpose of providing computational thinking education to learners. It is an adaptive system that dynamically provides feedback to learners and automatically adjusts the difficulty according to the learner's computational thinking ability. However, because the game was designed based on rules, it cannot intelligently consider the computational thinking of learners or give feedback. In this study, game data collected through Autothikning is introduced, and game score prediction that reflects computational thinking is performed in order to increase the adaptability of the game by using it. To solve this problem, a comparative study was conducted on linear regression, decision tree, random forest, and support vector machine algorithms, which are most commonly used in regression problems. As a result of the study, the linear regression method showed the best performance in predicting game scores.

An Analysis on effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning in Web 2.0 Environment (웹 2.0 기반의 문제중심학습의 효과)

  • This paper explores effectiveness of integrating Problem-Based Learning with Web 2.0 technologies in Computer subject matter education for improving quality of lessons and adapting of social needs for pre-service teachers. Students have studied about computer subject matter for 4 times. The process of leaning have recorded by Web 2.0 tools that is one of the cloud services. Also the students have written reflection journals about experiences of PBL process and results. The PBL process and reflection journals have been analyzed by qualitative data analysis. Conclusions are drawn as to potential for the use of Web 2.0 tools for PBL in computer subject matter. The results of the analyses showed the following: 1) Increasing the understanding of the computer subject matter education, 2) enhancing students' competence in using ICT potentially, 3) cultivating teaching and learning strategies on Web 2.0 environment and 4) enhancing competence of future teaching activities through experiencing e-portfolio as a performance-assessment tool.

  • Many famous institutes or associations select ICT ability by major ability to need in 21C's information-oriented society. Korea Association of Information Education have studied a new curriculum and suggest a new plan that content of information education classify by 'computer system', 'SW production' and 'fusion activity'. Therefore we study on productivity tools of elementary and middle school. In this paper we firstly suggest object to achieve on productivity tools of elementary and middle school. Next we suggest teaching learning method and evaluation method on productivity tools. we expect that the object to achieve on productivity tools we suggest will contribute to develop the curriculum of ICT subject.

  • 21세기 정보화 세계화 사회에서 창의적이고 자율적인 인간양성을 위한 교육개혁으로 창의적 인재양성, 자기주도적 학습능력 배양이 강조되어지고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 제주지역 농어촌의 경우 인구 집중이 도시로 이루어지면서 농어촌의 인구가 감소되어지고 그러한 결과로 소규모 학교는 통폐합이되면서 교육여건은 악화되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 제주지역 농어촌 교육문제를 해소하여 학생들의 이농현상을 줄일 수 있으며, 창의적이고 자기주도적인 학습 능력을 배양할 수 있는 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 느끼게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 도시와 농어촌의 서로 다른 교육여건에 기반하여 교육내용을 특성화함으로써 제주지역 농어촌 학생의 창의적 문제해결력 향상을 위한 통섭적 활동 모형과 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 이론적 고찰을 하였다. 도시와 농어촌의 학력격차를 해소하기 위해서는 농어촌 학생에게 적절한 교육내용과 활동으로 재편성하여 가르칠 필요가 있다. 특히 제주도는 농촌과 어촌, 도시형이 특별히 구분되어지는 것이 아니라 하나의 통합된 생활문화의 특징을 가지고 있다. 앞으로 본 연구의 이론적 고찰을 바탕으로 제주지역 농어촌 학생들의 일상적인 생활환경에서 접하게 되는 다양한 활동 속에서 창의적으로 문제해결을 할 수 있도록 통섭적 활동 모형과 프로그램을 개발하여 적용하게 되면 학생의 역량을 강화시키고 잠재해 있는 창의적 문제해결력을 개발하여 학력향상에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 우리가 살아가는 21 세기는 산업화시대와는 달리 급격한 경영환경의 변화 기술융합을 통한 끊임없는 신기술의 등장, 가치사슬의 변화, 프로세스(process)의 통합과 자동화로 인한 가격 등이 파괴되면서 생존을 위한 치열한 경쟁의 시대로 접어들고 있다. 이러한 사회환경의 변화에 따라 지식의 창출 못지 않게 지석의 보호도 중요하게 되었다. 그러나 공공기관의 지식은 체계적인 관리 체계가 이루어지지 않아 담당자의 인사.이동 혹은 퇴직 등으로 인하여 축적된 업무지식이 개인과 함께 그 조직에서 사라져 지식경쟁력이 약화되는 현상을 초래하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존의 단위업무시스템을 통합하여 새롭게 구축된 지식관리시스템을 조기에 정착시키고 이를 활용하여 무형자산의 가치를 극대화하기 위한 방안으로 $2002.12.01{\sim}2003.05.31$ 까지 6 개월 동안 지식관리시스템에 등록된 지식을 분석하여 지식경영을 활성화할 수 있는 방안과 미래사회의 핵심이 될 지석근로자를 양성할 수 있는 방안으로 자신의 능력을 극대화할 수 있는 3 가지 원리와 5 차원 전면교육학습법에 대하여 제시하였다.
