온도가 두줄명아주노린재의 발육에 미치는 영향 (곤충망, 매미목, 명아주노린재과) (Effect of Temperature on the Development of the Ash-gray Leaf Bug, Piesma maculata (Insecta, Hemiptera, Piesmatidae))

  • The authors reared the ash-gray leaf bug, Piesma maculata in the growth cabinet controlled as temperature groups of $15, 20, 25, 30, 40^{\circ}C$under condition of photoperiod 16L:8D, light intensity $510{\pm}240$ lus, relative humidity $65{\pm}3%$, and analyzed the effects of temperature on the development of the insect. The results are summarized as follow: There are highly significant differences the developmental periods for the temperature groups, and between the developmental periods for the developmental stages. The egg in the temperature of 15 and $40^{\circ}C$ was hatched, but the ecdysis was impossible. The thermal threshold was $12.34^{\circ}C$and the upper lethal temperature $40.39^{\circ}C$. The total developmental periods of egg to adulate in the temperature of 20, 25, 30 and $35^{\circ}C$are 40.52, 22.37, 15.91 and 13.00 days, respectively. That is, the developmental period was decreased, as the temperature was increased. In the developmental period for the developmental stages, the developmental period of egg stage was longer than that of 25, 30 and $35^{\circ}C$, and that of 25。C was longer than that of $35^{\circ}C$. But ther was not significant differences between the developmental periods for the other temperature group. The rate of hatch at$20^{\circ}C$is the greater value as 90%, and the rates of 25, 30 and $35^{\circ}C$ are 79, 79 and 67%, respectively. That is the rate of hatch was decreased, as the temperature was increased. The mortality in the temperature of $35^{\circ}C$ is the greatest value as 68%, and those of 30, 25 and $20^{\circ}C$are 59, 59 and 41%, respectively. That is, the mortality was increased, as the temperature was increased. There was not significantly differences between the developmental period of female and male.

진주시 직장인의 성별 연령별 외식 선택과 선호도 (Restaurant Food Choice and Preferences of Salaried Employees in JinJu Classified by Age and Gender)

  • A total of 321 salaried employees were surveyed by questionnaires during September and October 2001 in order to investigate the bases for their choices between 26 popular menu items in JinJu restaurants. The subjects were aged 20 to 61 years, and were classified into 3 age groups (ages 20-29, 30-39, and over 40) and 2 gender groups. The data were analyzed using the SAS program for factor analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The 26 popular menu items were classified into 6 factors by the 20-29 age group, into 5 factors by the 30-39 age group, and into 3 factors by the over 40 age group. The younger age group had the more numbers of factor which act as choice criteria of restaurant foods according to the purpose of eating out. 2) Because subjects classified steak and fast food into the same factor named 'new generation's food', we found that steak was an unfamiliar food for most of them, 3) The 20-29 age group had an aversion to Boshintang(dog soup), while the 30-39 age group and the over 40 age group liked Boshintang as a stamina food. 4) The over 40 age group, and men in all age groups, didn't choose Buffet and Shabushabu as a dinner food because they had negative attitudes toward novel or unfamiliar foods. 5) Women distinguished between a factor called 'social drink and party food' from a facor called 'dinner food', while men integrated the factor of 'dinner food' into the factor of 'social drink and party food' 6) Men preferred Samgyetang (chicken stew with ginseng) and Yangnyeumtongdak (spicy fried chicken) as a 'social drink and party food', while women preferred Dwaejibossam (boiled pork and kimchi) and Beef Bulgogi. In conclusion, most of subjects did not recognize fast food and steak as a meal, which were introduced recently in JinJu. The choice criteria and preferences of restaurant foods were different from the age and gender groups. The over 40 age group, and men in all age groups, had more negative attitudes toward novel or unfamiliar foods than the younger age and women groups.(Korean J. Nutrition 35(9) : 996~1006, 2002)

볼륨 유방 여성의 흉부체형 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Breast Shape Analysis of Big-breasted Women)

  • Big breasted women often experience dissatisfaction with ready-made brassieres, that do not account for individual breast types nor provide adequate cup sizes. This study was conducted to provide basic information on common breast shape and measurements of Korean big-breasted women, and to facilitate development of big-breasted women's bras with excellent fit and comfort. The study analyzed direct upper body measurements of 178 women in their 20's whith cup size C or bigger in the 5th, 6th and 7th Size Korea. In addition, 3D body scan data of women with bra size 75 and cup size C were re-collected and their breast types were examined. Average under-bust circumference of big-breasted women was 75 size in brassiere size. The average stature was 159.78 cm and the body weight was 60.33kg, indicating "overweight". Also, it was revealed that common breast types of big-breasted women, were hemispheric and cone types. The study can facilitate better understanding of breast shapes and sizes of standard big-breasted women, and will be useful as reference in selection of subjects in future studies.

국내산 참당귀를 이용한 다식 제조에 관한 연구 (Development of Traditional Korean Snack, Dasik Using Angelica gigas Nakai)

  • 참당귀는 민방에서 월경통과 산후진정 등의 부인병 치료에 이용되어온 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 참당귀를 이용하여 제조한 우리 전통 한과류인 다식에 대하여 관능검사를 실시하였고 수분, 회분, 조단백질과 조지방 등의 일반성분을 분석하였으며, 참당귀의 phenolic compounds와 flavonoid 및 항산화활성 등을 측정하였다. 참당귀 다식의 관능검사 결과 참당귀 분말을 20% 함유한 흑임자다식이 동양의 참당귀 분말을 함유한 콩가루다식보다 높은 선호도를 나타내었다. 특히, 흑임자 분말에 참당귀 분말 20% 첨가군은 30대 및 40대에서 가장 선호도가 높았다. 참당귀 분말을 20% 첨가한 흑임자다식은 수분함량이 11.85%와 회분함량이 3.4%였고, 조단백질 14.1%, 조지방 23.44%의 함량을 나타내었다. 또한 참당귀의 phenolic compounds 함량은 2.23 mg/g, flavonoid 함량은 9.9 mg/g이었으며 항산화활성은 methanol reflux sample을 0.1 g/$m\ell$의 농도로 측정했을시 53.14%로 나타났다.

한국인 여성에서 노화에 따른 초역치 미각강도의 변화 (Suprathreshold Taste Intensities for Salt, Sucrose, Citric Acid, and Quinine HCl in Elderly Korean Women)

  • 노화가 미각기능에 미치는 영향에 관해서는 아직도 많은 논란이 계속되고 있다. 노인에게서 보이는 미각기능의 감퇴를 정상적인 노화현상으로 보는 시각과 약물사용이나 타액분비의 감소에 의한 결과로 보는 시각이 교차하고 있으며, 또한 미각 기능을 평가하는 방법에 따라 서로 다른 주장이 제기되기도 하였다. 저자들은 노화가 초역치 미각강도에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위해서 본 연구를 시행하였으며, 약물사용에 의한 영향을 배제하기 위해서 장기적인 약물사용의 병력이 없는 20대의 여성 30명과 40-50대의 여성 31명을 피검자로 선택하여 염화나트륨, 설탕, 구연산, 염산키니네 수용액에 대한 초역치 미각강도를 소리자극을 이용한 규모짝짓기 방법으로 측정한 다음 그 결과를 서로 비교하였으며, 40-50대 여성에 대해서는 또한 폐경의 여부와 타액분비량의 다과에 따른 차이를 비교하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 한국인 40-50대 여성은 20대 여성에 비해 저 농도의 염화나트륨 수용액과 저 농도의 설탕 수용액에 대한 초역치 미각강도가 감소되었으며, 고농도의 염화나트륨 수용액과 고농도의 설탕 수용액, 그리고 모든 농도의 구연산 수용액과 염산키니네 수용액에서는 차이가 없었다. 2. 한국인 40-50대 여성에서 폐경으로 인한 초역치 미각강도의 변화는 나타나지 않았다. 3. 한국인 40-50대 여성에서 타액분비량의 다과에 따른 초역치 미각강도의 변화가 염화나트륨 수용액, 설탕 수용액, 염산키니네 수용액에 대해서는 나타나지 않았다. 4. 한국인 40-50대 여성에서 타액분비량이 적은 군이 많은 군에 비해 저 농도의 구연산 수용액에 대한 초역치 미각강도가 높게 나타났다.

헬스케어증진을 위한 하지혈류제한운동이 20대 여대생의 순발력과 균형에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Blood Flow Restriction Exercise on the Alacrity and Balanced Capacity of Female University Students in Their 20s for Health-Care Increase)

  • 본 연구는 하지혈류제한벨트를 한 그룹과 하지 않은 그룹의 균형과 순발력의 변화를 알아보기 위해 광주 지역에 소재한 K대학교 학생 40명을 선정하여 실험군 20명과 대조군 20명을 무작위 배치하여 2019년 9월 16일부터 10월 11일까지 4주간 스쿼트 운동을 실시하였다. 스쿼트 운동 시 혈류제한은 BFR band를 착용하였고 편안하게 선 상태에서 120 mmHg 압력을 넣어 하지혈류제한을 하였다. 실험 결과 앞·중간·뒷부위 발바닥 압력의 시간에 따른 변화에서 두 그룹 모두 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았고(p>.05), 실험군과 대조군 간 상호작용 차이도 없었다(p>.05). Height, Maximum Concentric Power, Take Off Speed에서 시간에 따른 유의한 차이를 확인할 수 있었다(p<.05). 이와 같은 결과로 보아 낮은 강도 운동을 통해서도 하지혈류제한을 통해 큰 효과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 본 논문은 혈류제한운동이 순발력과 균형에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였으며 향후 하지혈류제한 운동을 통해 낮은 강도의 운동으로도 큰 운동 효과를 얻을 수 있는 것의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

진균류의 DNA 생합성 및 염기조성에 미치는 항생물질의 효과 (The Effect of Antibiotics on the DNA Synthesis and Base Composition in Fungal Cells)

  • Cycloheximide와 nalidixic acid를 각각 처리한 배지에 Aspergillus phoenicis, Rhizopus acidus, Candida albicans를 배양하는 동안에 이들 세포에서 항생물질이 DNA 합성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가를 대조구와 비교 분석하였다. Cycloheximide 처리구에서의 DNA 염기 함량은 A. phoenicis에서 대조구에 비해 adenine 20.4%, thymine 43.1%, cytosine 40.9%, guanine 35.3%가 감소되어 purine기, pyrimidine기가 각각 32.2%, 42.7% 억제 현상을 나타내었다. R. acidus에서는 adenine이 34.2%, thymine이 42.1%, cytosine은 38.0%, guanine은 18.1%가 감소됨으로 purine기와 pyrimidine기가 24.1%와 40.0%로 저해되었다. 그리고 C. albicans의 염기 조성은 adenine이 58.3%, thymine이 58.5%로 대조구에 비해 억제되었고 cytosine은 58.1%, guanine은 42.4%가 감소되어 purine기 46.8%, pyrimidine기 58.8%의 억제를 보여주었다. Nalidixic acid 처리구에서는 A. phoenicis에서 adenine 41.6%, thymine 47.1%, cytosine 59.3%, guanine 46.3%가 저해되어 purine기 45.6%, pyrimidine기 57.2%가 감소되었다. R. acidus에서의 염기함량은 adenine 59.1%, thymine 54.7%, cytosine 35.3%, guanine 37.4% 감소로 purine기 45.9%, pyrimidine기 44.9%가 대조구에 비해 억제 효과를 보여주었다. C. albicans에서는 adenine이 60.1%, thymine이 68.6%, cytosine이 60.7%, guanine이 40.0% 저해되어 purine기는 45.8%, pyrimidine기는 63.5% 감소현상을 보였다. 이들 3 균주의 DNA 생합성에서 purine기 보다는 pyrimidine기가 cycloheximide와 nalidixic acid에 의해 뚜렷한 저해 효과를 나타내는 것으로 조사되었다. 본 실험에서 cycloheximide보다는 nalidixic acid가 DNA 생합성에 현저한 억제작용을 하는 것으로 분석되었다.

단체급식소에서 이용되는 식재료의 전처리시 소독방법에 따른 품질 연구( I ) (A Study on the Quality Depending on Sanitization method of Raw vegetables in Foodservice Operations( I ))

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate the microbial quality of some raw vegetables, and suggest a safer method for their sanitization and pre-preparation in foodservice operations. Baechu-geotjeori was monitored from the ingredient to the final product, during different holding temperature. Three sanitization methods were performed during the pre-preparation (tap water, chlorine water and electrolyzed water). The largest reduction in the microbial counts was shown with the electrolyzed water pre-preparation (after treatment; the total plate counts decreased to 3.34-4.06 Log CFU/g, coliform counts decreased to 1.40-1.45 CFU/g). Prior to immersion in the chlorine water, washing was first peformed to see if the was a larger effective reduction in the microbial counts.

일부 교인들의 불소 인식도에 대한 연구 (A Study on Awareness for Fluoride of a Christian Church)

  • This paper investigated an overview of awareness for fluoride in the young christian association. 30% of men and 70% of women knew well the prevention of caries for fluoride and water fluoridation program and showed of 90% in 20's, 10% in 30's and 0.00% in 40's. 54%-known people for fluoride had each 37% of men and 63% of woman, then 46%-unknown people for fluoride had each 56.52% of man and 43.48% of women. This showed women knew well awareness for fluoride than men. This showed high level above 50% awareness for fluoride as 54% of comprehension for fluoride and 50% of water fluoridation program. Awareness of fluoride of the subjects known for fluoride, prevention of caries, effects of tooth and water fluoridation program appeared above 50% level as 54%, 47%, 45% and 50%, individually. Thus, tooth management in christian showed high level. But, awareness for fluoride of women in third condition 'unknown for mottled tooth' showed each 38%, 34% and 37%. The mottled tooth from an excessive fluoride appeared low level awareness for fluoride of women. It suggested hard scientific contents made woman subjects unknown the effects of fluoride for tooth.

바지류를 중심으로 한 여성기성복의 치수에 관한 연구 (A study for apparel sizing system for women's ready-to-wear pants)

  • The purpose of the study was to provide good fitting of ready-to-wear pants for adult women. To pursue this purpose, the anthropometric data of Korean in 1992 (ADaM(R) 1.0) were analyze. The subjects were 1,580 women aged from 18 to 50 years. The body measurements of six age groups were compared. The results of data analysis showed that the height measurements( waist height, trochanter height, glutial height, perinneum height) of the late 40's were about 3cm shorter than those of the early 20's. The waist circumference of old subject group was 14.1cm larger than those of the young subject group. With rapid growing of waist circumference, the difference of hip and waist circumference was getting smaller with aging. The average difference between hip and waist circumferences of young adult group (18 to 24 yrs) was 24.3cm (SD 3.6cm) and the meaurement of old adult group (45 to 50 yrs) was 15.0cm (SD 5.6cm). The size of the women's pants which were manufactured by the top 50 manufacturers in Korea were compared. The difference between hip circumference and waist circumference listed on the size tag ranged from 12cm to 32cm. The body measurements of subjects and the standard size categories for pants were compared. The results showed that larger size categorise needed to be added to give better fits for older adult group.
