전기자동차용 2속 변속기의 경량 최적 설계 (Optimal Design of Lightweight Two-Speed Transmission of Electric Vehicles)

  • The electric vehicle industry is rapidly developing because of enforced environmental regulations, and several studies have been conducted on the multispeed transmission to improve the fuel efficiency of electric vehicles. Among these studies, research on the power density improvement of electric vehicle transmission is critical. Thus, the optimal design of the gear train is necessary to enhance transmission efficiency. In this study, an optimal design methodology for the lightweight two-speed transmission of electric vehicles is proposed. Because a multispeed transmission has many operating conditions and equality and inequality constraints, a new gear design method that combines analytical and iterative methods is applied without using complex optimization algorithms. Sets of possible design variables are generated considering the operating conditions and various design variables. The modules and face width ratios of each stage gear that satisfy the corresponding operating conditions are analytically calculated. The volume of the gear train is calculated, evaluated, and arranged using these values to determine the optimal solution for minimizing the volume, and the proposed methodology is applied to the actual model to verify its effectiveness. The design of a two-speed transmission with multiple operating conditions and constraints without complicated optimization algorithms can be optimized.

  • Wind energy has been more and more important and contributive in the energy utilization of the world. This paper proposed a novel method for Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS), in which a secondary control hydrostatic transmission (SC-HST) with two hydraulic accumulators, were employed for wind energy conversion system. This approach can absorb the excessive power of turbine, keep the generator from over-speed and maintain the speed of generator in low speed of turbine. A PID controller was designed for speed control to track a predefined speed. The simulation results indicated that the speed of the generator was ensured with the relative error less than 2%; and the efficiency of the proposed system was 70.4%.

  • The power flow of an 8-speed automatic transmission was analyzed using a lever analogy for the manufacturing of planetary gears. From the analysis, we found that the engine power was split between the first and second double-pinion planetary gears (DPPG1 and DPPG2), and was then passed to the DPPG3 for the fourth speed. For the fifth speed, the engine power was split between the DPPG1 and DPPG3. For the speeds 6-8, the engine power was passed only to SPPG2, while the seventh speed contained the power circulation.

Design of A High-Speed Data Transmission System for Satellite Ground Inspection Trial

  • A high-speed data transmission system is designed for the ground inspection equipment of satellite measurement and control. Based on USB2.0, the system consists of interface chip CY7C68013A, programmable logic processing unit EP4CE30F23C8, analog/digital and digital/analog conversion units. The working principle of data transmission is analyzed, and the system software logic and hardware composition scheme are detailed. The system was utilized to output/capture and store specific data packets. The results show that the high-speed data transmission speed can reach 38MB/s, and the system is effective for satellite test requirements.

  • 세계적으로 친환경자동차의 연구 및 개발이 확대되면서 주행거리를 증대시키기 위해 차량의 부가적인 장치를 축소·삭제하거나 경량화를 위한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 그 중 내연기관자동차에 적용되던 다단변속기를 삭제하고 감속기로 대체하여 모터출력 값 제어를 통해 토크증대로 초기구동력을 확보하고 있다. 하지만 잦은 모터의 속도변화로 부하가 상승되는 결과를 가져올 수 있기 때문에 본 연구에서는 일반적인 감속기구조를 갖는 소형·경량의 수동 2단 감속기를 개발하려고 한다. 따라서 평행축을 갖는 구조에 대기어와 소기어를 삽입하여 평행한 축의 감속기형태에서 V-벨트로 기어를 연결하고, 저단과 고단의 기어비를 각각 설정하여 2개의 기어비를 갖는 2단 변속기를 설계하였다. 또한 변속기의 회전속도와 부하에 따른 동력성능을 시험을 통해 확인하고 구동시 발생되는 발열특성을 확인하여 변속기의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 초소형 특수목적형 전기자동차에 적용 가능한 초소형 변속기에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 일반적으로 전기자동차에서는 다단 기어형태의 변속기를 삭제하고 모터의 출력을 제어하거나 감속기를 통해 초기 구동력을 확보한다. 그러나 전기카트나 경형 전기자동차와 같은 초소형 차량에서는 배터리 용량이 상대적으로 적기 때문에 적재 상태에 따라 주행 거리가 감소하거나 모터에 부하가 가해질 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission)의 변속 메커니즘을 적용하여, 구배 상태나 적재 상태와 같은 필요한 상황에서 변속이 가능한 고단 0.625와 저단1.6의 기어비를 갖는 2단 구조의 감속기를 개발하였다. 선정된 기어비를 기반으로 변속기를 설계하고, 개발된 변속기의 동력 전달 효율을 검증하기 위해 시험기를 제작하였다. 이 시험기를 통해 변속기의 회전 속도와 부하량을 변화시키며 동력 전달 효율 특성을 확인하고, 변속과 구동 시 발생되는 발열 특성도 확인하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 CVT구조를 갖는 2단 구조의 변속기를 개발하였다.

Verilog Modeling of Transmission Line for USB 2.0 High-Speed PHY Interface

  • A Verilog model is proposed for transmission lines to perform the all-Verilog simulation of high-speed chip-to-chip interface system, which reduces the simulation time by around 770 times compared to the mixed-mode simulation. The single-pulse response of transmission line in SPICE model is converted into that in Verilog model by converting the full-scale analog signal into an 11-bit digital code after uniform time sampling. The receiver waveform of transmission line is calculated by adding or subtracting the single-pulse response in Verilog model depending on the transmitting digital code values with appropriate time delay. The application of this work to a USB 2.0 high-speed PHY interface reduces the simulation time to less than three minutes with error less than 5% while the mixed-mode simulation takes more than two days for the same circuit.

Optical Harmonic Modulation-Demodulation Techniques for High-Speed Light wave Transmission

  • High-speed harmonic optical modulation-demodulation schemes are presented and a possibility of the schemes for applying to high-speed light wave transmission system is tested at microwave frequency range. An example of this concept is as follows : Light wave is modulated succeedingly through cascaded optical modulators by a sub-carrier to produce a modulated light wave at harmonic frequency which is higher than the feasible frequency of the individual modulators. For demodulation of the base-band signal, the high frequency optical sub-carrier is down-converted by the same kind of optical modulator with the same concept of harmonic modulation.

고속 $mB_1Z$ 전송로부호에 관한 연구 (A Study on a High-Speed $mB_1Z$ Transmission Line Code)

  • 本 論文에서는 高速 光 디지털 傳送시스템과 같은 高速 unipolar 信號 傳送시스템에 適合한 새로운 mBIZ 傳送路符號를 提案하였다. mBIZ符號는 情報信號系列 傳送速度를 $\frac{(m+1)}{m}$ 만큼 速度變換한 後 m 비트마다 補助 서어비스 비트 하나를 揷入한 信號系列과 出力傳送路符號系列의 한 비트를 遲延시킨 信號系列을 Exclusive NOR하여 符號化하기 때문에 redundancy를 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 復號回路 역시 간단하게 構成할 수 있다. mBIZ符號는 回符號連積數를 (m+1)비트 이내로 抑壓할 수 있으며 傳送路符號系列의 마크率이 1/2이기 때문에 電力 스펙트럼에 存在하는 高低周波 成分들을 抑壓할 수 있다.

물류 차량을 위한 효율적인 데이터 전송 방법 (An Efficient Data Transmission Scheme for Logistics Vehicles)

  • In this paper, we present a novel scheme of data transmission for logistics vehicles connected with 3G mobile communication networks. The proposed method enhances the efficiency of data transmission by varying the packet transmission period according to the vehicle speed and by reducing the amount of transmitted data using a reduced packet structure. The main contribution is to present the experimental verification in which the proposed method is applied to commercial logistics vehicles that operate with networked data transmission modules. Being compared with the existing method, the proposed scheme shows superior performance in terms of data reduction and transmission speed.
